Update: Changing from 2 stars to 4 stars. After my initial review, Daniel reached out to me and offered a touch-up session to address some of my concerns. He was very kind during the session and tried to address our mismatch in expectations. He added more color all around, covered the yellow, and added more watercolor features. He let me sit up and watch, which made it a much better experience. There was good communication during the session. I like the finished product much more now and Im much happier with my experience.I had to shorten my original review to make room for this update. I also added a photo from after the touch-up session.____________I waited several months to share my review in hopes that I would feel better about the tattoo I purchased and the service I received. For context, this is not my first tattoo, I have spent 24+ hours getting tattooed and have worked with other artists to design tattoos that I am very happy with.TL;DR: My tattoo looks fine, but it was not a good experience. Daniel didnt do what I asked or what he proofed, wouldnt let me watch, so I couldnt correct his deviations from my request. $800 for ~7×4 oval tattoo.The tattoo I received is nice looking and seems to be quality work. However, it is not what I asked for. I had a design session in the spring of 2023 where I provided a photo of a lotus flower and said I wanted those colors in a watercolor tattoo. Watercolor tattoos are Daniels specialty, which is why I went to Daniel at Ocean Blue. He created a proof, and I told him again the colors I wanted, the style I wanted, and the location. I showed him the scar on my leg where I wanted the flower to mask the scar and he waved me off, told me the draft was just a guide because he freehands his tattoos and that he would do the colors and location I wanted and that it would look good because hes good.At my appointment in February of 2024. I again showed him the picture of the lotus flower and told him the colors I wanted. He changed the proof and said it was just to make the stencil clearer. He assured me the odd feature in the center of the flower was not a detail he would add. He reiterated that he freehands his tattoo and how good it would look. He said he would do what I wanted. I told him I wanted pink and purple for the flower part, and I wanted him to use the water color splash technique I saw in his portfolio of other work. I told him I wanted blue and green for the stem and water, and I wanted it to be along the scar on my ankle. He wanted it higher up on my calf, he said to trust him. I said I wanted it to cover the scar, and thats why I requested the lotus tattoo specifically with the location. He said to trust him, he knows what hes doing, the tattoo would look better where he wanted it, but ultimately agreed to have it lower towards my ankle but said it needed to be centered and not over my scar. Fine.He insists that I lay down flat and not sit up at all. Its like he forgot everything we talked about with respect to style and colors. He added yellow to the blue and green near the stem. I did not ask for yellow, and yellow doesnt go well with my skin tone. He added the weird cylindrical detail at the center of the flower that he assured me he would not include. Again, as art, it looks professional. It is not what I asked for, I couldnt convince him to listen to me, I wasnt allowed to watch to voice my requests as he deviated. I waited 10 months and paid $800 for a tattoo that wasnt what I wanted.Attached are photos of tattoo, proof, and photo I provided to guide design.The receptionist was friendly and professional. The shop uses good cleanliness practices utilizing single use components. It appeared that everything was cleaned thoroughly. It is a safe, clean place to receive a tattoo.

Awesome local shop with great staff! Daniel is a boss with photo editing and the tools to make a tattoo unique. He suggested to Stefanie adding a little brown to the red so it would look brownish red after healing and not pink. I will add on to this tattoo to blend in with the tattoo below. Fantastic experience!

To start off, the shop it self is great. Everyone is super welcoming and asks if you need anything multiple times. I had Danial as my artist and he’s great. He did everything when designing my tattoo and was super cool about it. A good place to go if you want a good tattoo and good people. I will be returning

I recently got a new tattoo from artist Daniel at Ocean Blue Tattoo and its nothing short of stunning and impressive! Im over the moon with the high-quality service and the superb quality of the tattoo itself. The atmosphere during the session was engaging with fantastic conversation, an incredible vibe, and great music. The experience was both professional and intimate, which I highly appreciated. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to anyone! This is my third piece from this salon and Im already planning my next visit. Im truly appreciative!

Since I got a sternum tattoo, I prefer not to share mine on here. But I had to do a $200 down payment and then another $800 for the piece online on their site. My tattoo was a jewelry statement piece with a detailed center jewel and strings of pearls and shapes around it. It turned out great!!As far as the experience went, I was not huge fan of how it went communication-wise, but we got it figured out and everything went fine after.The artists here are very talented, including the one who did my newest one (Jared), and may return here again in hopes of getting one of the infamous and gorgeous watercolor tattoos!

Daniel is an amazing artist. You can tell he has a lot of experience and has a passion for what he does. Love his style and creativity. He took his time and made sure I was comfortable all throughout the process. I will definitely go back and get more work done.

I had been looking for a studio that could do both delicate black typography and freehand watercolor styling. Ocean Blue was made for that. The process was SO easy, and artists Lee and Daniel made sure my ideas were executed EXACTLY as I wanted. Ive been to Ocean Blue for 3 tattoos with Daniel about 16 hours of ink. I choose Ocean Blue because they were one of the few that have a focus in color. All I can say is, that solid and technical work come out of this shop. As always find the best shop/artist for you, but give this shop and artist your consideration!

I had a slight idea of what I wanted. Daniel showed me some new crazy techniques that have come along in the near 2 decades since my last tattoo. After a brief assessment, Daniel arranged a confirmed consultation with Anthony T. when he had an opening. So Anthony T. and I sat down and brainstormed on to what would be a great tattoo. Anthony didnt shy away from me, throwing out suggestions. So after about 45 minutes Anthony and I came up with a the perfect tattoo for me. When Anthony was able to fit me in for a session, the final art piece turned out better than what I could have imagined. All I can say is Anthony and Ocean Blue Tattoo are world 🌎 class and will continue to bring my business to some of the best in the business. The shop was very clean, and organized. The employees are very great to work with, and very friendly! The attention to detail is great! Ocean Blue Tattoo and Art studio is the place to go to get a tattoo done. From the beginning consultation to get the tattoo is awesome. I had my consultation on the February 11th and sat down with David and helped bring my design I had to life. We talked about the process and about how long the appointment would be and everything. Due to my busy work life and personal life they were really awesome about scheduling the tattoo appointment which ended up being on February 23rd @1. That day came I showed up for my appointment, filled out paperwork, and then sat down with my artist (Nick) at which time we went over what I had in mind for my design and placement. We decided to do a small change to the design and actually came up with a great idea that I loved. He got the stencil on suggested that I look in the mirror and see if there was anything that I wanted change. After that he started the process which went really well. His station is super clean and got everything set up that he needed. He asked me multiple time before and during session if I need water, snacks, or a break. Toward the end of session he noticed some shading that needed help and wanted to let blood and redness go down a bit and the continued to finish up the process. When he was done with the session he wrapped it and told me to come back the next day due to plasma coming up and that it will help with the healing process. I ended up leaving the tattoo studio around 4:30 after checking out and being told about after care by Daniel and Nick. I came back the neck day Wednesday 24th @1 to get it re-wrapped like instructed. Nick told me it was looking good and should heal with 3-4 days and the best way to take of the wrap was in a hot shower. As I was leaving the studio I ran into Daniel and he said the same thing that Nick did, keeping it wrapped for 3-4 days. This tattoo studio is very knowledgeable and really care about there clients. I will definitely be back to this studio again.

This was my first tattoo, and a memento to remember my late father. Ocean blue is overall very welcoming and the artist Daniel absolutely blew me away. I went in with my concept and he worked very hard to make my idea come to life. He is a total professional I will definitely be going back to for more work. Cannot recommend enough, he went above and beyond for me, I am absolutely thrilled with the result and I couldn’t be happier!

I must say Anthony did his job well with my arm piece. It was just what I asked for. He worked with me to get it all put together and figured out. I already have plans to do a cover up of some old tattoos in the same area with Anthony, so I can work on my sleeve. I would totally recommend checking Ocean Blue out. Everyone that I came in contact with was so awesome and accommodating.

I got a tattoo by Ashton. Ashton was able to exceed what I imagined for the tattoo! Price was good for the size. I was initially told it would take two sessions but he was able to do a great job in one session.

I was looking for the right shop for a custom tattoo to replicate a full color watercolor painting that my mother had done. After visiting a couple of tattoo shops, I settled on Jared at Ocean Blue. The other shop that I consulted with discouraged me from going full color with the design, instead opting for a black and grey design because of the complexity with watercolor work.Ocean Blue did the opposite, and encouraged me to go with what I wanted (which was full color).In summary, Jared is a master. He replicated the complex painting to a T, and I couldnt be more pleased. 5+ stars.

Jerad did a coverup for me and a crow on my wrist. He’s amazingly talented and so much fun to work with. I couldn’t be any happier with my experience! I can’t recommend him enough!

The experience I had working with Daniel and Ocean Blue was absolutely fantastic, I highly, highly recommend checking them out. Went in for an initial consult with very little besides a handful of pre-sent images and a vague notion of what i wanted, and although I felt a little out of my element at first, they helped me hash out a confident vision and direction and got me on the books no sweat. Everyone was super friendly, and the clients coming and going were nothing but smiles, and everyone seemed to really enjoy the people there and the art that they do.Update: the tattoo session itself went well-- everything was clean and orderly, Jared was nice and friendly and Im glad I listened to his recommendation on color modification-- it came out amazingly!

My husband and I have been coming to Ocean Blue for a few years now. Our first artist was Daniel who is great, extremely talented and very nice and personable! We have gotten a good majority of our work by Anthony who is amazing, insane talent, great personality and vibe to trust your skin with, very personable. I’ve been back at least 6 times in the last couple months alone to get work done by him and I’m extremely satisfied every time. Very relaxed studio, great music, very comfortable atmosphere which is not what I had been used to with my other tattoo experiences. Prices here are fair in my opinion with the talent you’re getting, I’ve experienced you get what you pay for with other shops I’ve been too. Recommend this studio 100% and will continue to come back!

Hes very knowledgeable, artistic, organized, neat, sanitary, and he really cares about making it a pleasant experience. I drive all the way from Chicago just for his expertise passing many shops along the way and I will not let anyone else touch me or my family except him. He will sit with you and figure out the best tattoo for you to your satisfaction. He also uses a wonderful tattoo butter that heals it up very quickly. Please check him out! Ive gotten two somewhat larger tattoos here over the last few years (my boyfriend has gotten four smaller ones) and both of us are highly satisfied with the quality of tattoos we received as well as the friendliness of the staff! Daniel has always been very accommodating with our busy schedule to get us in for consultations and the tattoos themselves. It is very evident that each tattoo artist here cares deeply about each design they make and genuinely want to create a cool/beautiful tattoo that will look great and last. Id like to give a special shout-out to Anthony who did both my tattoos and Im amazed at how clean and perfect his line work is! Daniel is awesome. I got my tattoo back in November. My friend actually came in to set up the tattoo for me and Daniel was able to create exactly what I was looking for just from my friends description. I wanted watercolor (of which Daniel specializes in) and he was able to do exactly that. The watercolor turned out beautiful! And even after a half year the tattoo still looks amazing. If you want watercolor, Daniel is your guy! He is also super fun to talk to and makes you feel comfortable.

First off I want to say this shop is an amazing place to get a tattoo. The environment is very welcoming, clean, professional and most importantly, friendly. My tattoo was in a way a collaboration. I had Daniel do my cosultation and he was very good at listening to my concept. David was the one who turned my concept into a custom piece that was unique and everything that I wanted. Nick tattooed me and he did an incredible job at it while also being really nice during the entire session. This was my first tattoo and they all made me feel confident and comfortable. Definitely the place to go!

The entire vibe of this place was amazing! The people are extremely friendly and kind, also its so nice and clean!!Armani helped with my daughters 1st tattoo, well turned into tattoos.... the time he took on her and the way he made her feel relaxed was such great to experience to see.I spoke with the owner as well, truly an extremely kind and humbled human! Sat for about 5 hours on Saturday with Anthony and I have to say, he’s awesome! His attention to detail and ensuring you get the tattoo you want makes him the perfect artist. I have been coming to Daniel and Anthony at Ocean Blue Tattoo for years. They are exceptionally clean, talented and accommodating. Prices are reasonable and the ones I have gotten from both artists have remained amazingly bright in color and the artistry is awesome...even my son wants to get the same ones i have because they are so great.. my mom is coming from north Carolina to visit and is getting ones from Daniel ..she loves his amazing water colors talent and If I was to move out of area I would still make the trip back no matter the distance to come back to have work done by both Daniel and Anthony ...they really care about their customers!!!! very much worth the visit to check them at and then get some work done!

I just finished my half sleeve/forearm floral piece with ashton tonight. Hes super talented, and you can tell he enjoys what hes doing. He does a great job and ensures that youre happy. Hes also super chill to hang out with while the tattoo is being done, and it was a comfortable experience. He listens to what you want along with suggesting what will look good and turn out best for your tattoo. I recommend him for sure! I have my next 2 appointments set with him already.

Anthony Tautges did my half sleeve. We collaborated on a design inspired by photographs and inspiration I had found online and created a piece thats unique to me. He went the extra mile to do extensive detail touch up work all within the original price. He cared about his work product and my satisfaction, and that meant a lot.

The artists here are top notch, from planning through execution, they were amazing to work with. I had a cover up done, Daniels design and execution looked as if it was my original tattoo, not a cover up! His eye for detail and passion for his art was on full display. I couldnt be happier with the quality of my tattoo and I would highly recommend Ocean Blue Tattoo, whether it is for a new tattoo or cover up, they are simply amazing!

Daniel does a great job of portraits! However, there are small details that I feel could have been done a little bit better… Overall, I do recommend him, and I will post a photo of my boyfriends portraits done by him with the original pictures right next to it. So you all can see for yourself.

So glad I came across Daniel, the owner of Ocean Blue Tattoo. I went in to get a memorial tattoo for my 5 year old son - I provided Daniel a photo I found on pinterest for a 3D tattoo - he was able to take that idea and transform it into exactly what I was looking for - incorporating the dragonfly and my sons name along with his favorite colors. Daniel is an amazing artist and Im already planning to return with my next idea for another tattoo. The atmosphere is comfortable, they take their time making the tattoo perfect and my tattoo was fully healed in very little time. Anthony from Ocean Blue tattoo also did an amazing job designing a memorial tattoo for my husband full of very intricate detail. Was pretty nervous to get my first tattoo. I was sweating a little bit while I waited for my turn. However, Daniel was super chill and nice. He was able to make my design even though it was a bit harder since it was smaller than the reference image I had. Still, it turned out great! Highly recommend this place to anyone getting their first (or whatever number) tattoo!

Daniel did an amazing job on my Abe Lincoln portrait and other tattoos. His specialty is portraits and realism. He did amazing works for a great price, and is a perfectionist at his work. Really friendly and quiet environment. He gets my design just right and how I want it. I cant even count how many compliments I get on the tattoo he did. I had a tattoo done by Daniel a few years ago before I moved to California. He did a sleeve with a stunning tribal piece. Daniel was able to design my tattoo based on my reference photos from the web. He did free hand drawing and show me before tattooing. The artwork is done so amazing that I have been approached by modeling agency recruiters while walking on the beach. I am so satisfied with his work that I have now flown back to Minnesota for the sole purpose of having another one done.

Was able to get an appointment scheduled after a little back and forth via email. Was squeezed into the schedule given my tattoo was relatively simple. It started a little later than the appointment time, but not unexpected given I was fit into the schedule. Daniel was fantastic and incredibly patient with me as it was my first tattoo and I got light-headed/dizzy/clammy. Tattoo turned out great and the price was good. He provided all care instructions and materials to rewrap after a day. I would highly recommend the studio and will assuredly be going back for future tattoos.

I came into town to visit and really wanted a tattoo since there are not many places to get a tattoo where Im from. Daniel was really patient and very nice to talk to. He helped me figure out a really good design and the size with a concept I brought in. Turned out amazing! I absolutely love it!

I asked for a realism Dragon Fly 3D, on my upper arm. Daniel delivered excellence above and beyond my expectations. Daniel was professional, takes his time on every bit of ink going into a project to make it as detailed as in real life. Best tattoo artist I have ever worked with. I will be having all my ink work done by Daniel. His shop is nice too, he sells the aftercare lotion at his shop for a reasonable rate. This is by far my best tattoo, looking forward to more. I have had 5 tattoos at this shop. Anthony has done 4 of them, and Daniel has done 1. They are awesome. They take time to listen, and make your ideas come to life. If something wont work, they are not afraid to tell you. IMO that is a rare quality to find I recommend this shop to anyone and everyone I can. As far as prices go, I think they are very fair, for the amount of time they spend with with you designing and doing the work, I will never go to another shop other than here. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Originally I went to a very trusted tattoo parlor, once I showed them what I wanted, they recommended me to come to Ocean Blue Tattoo. They told me to speak to Daniel. I came in for consultation, which we discussed and I saw his passion for his work. Daniel is very professional. He was wonderful, he did a coverup from a 10 yrs old tattoo that I didnt like, he drew it up and worked on it. We had great talks but the work is exquisite. I could have not asked for anything more. I had Daniel, he did my tattoo of my dogs paw print with his name and did an incredible job!!! He even remembered me when I called to make an appointment a few days earlier! When we were almost done, he had to answer the phone real quick, im glad he did cuz while he was on the phone, he was looking over my tattoo and noticed a few spots to touch up.Everybody there is laid back, respectful, professional, talented, etc. I recommend this place for everybody!!

Got my tattoo 2 years ago. It still looks brand new. Walked in, told him what I want, he designed it for me on the computer, printed a sticker-type thing, put it on me, and asked if I liked the spot. Told him I wanted it a little bit lower and he reprinted it for me happily. Went with my friend and together we spent probably only 2 hours (both our tattoos were relatively small). Atmosphere was great; I didn’t feel like I was in a sketchy place. Price was significantly lower than the place my friend and I had planned to go but left because we thought it was too pricey. Our tattoos were in more...risqué places (mine under my breast, hers on her upper thigh) and neither of us felt at all uncomfortable. He told us everything he was doing step by step. Didn’t hurt me a bit. Left with some kind of clear bandage over the top that had some salve in it or something plus extra ones that we could put on when the current one started to peel. It was my first tattoo and I had an amazing experience. Both me and my friend have recommended it to others. Writing a review now 2 years later because I’m planning on going back in the next few days for a second tattoo! Usually don’t take the time to write reviews but I was very pleased with my experience.

Daniel tattooed my daughters footprints and added watercolor flair to them as well. Dude is legit and knows his stuff when designing and applying ink. The thing that stands out the most though, is how he respects you through the entire process. He makes sure you are in as little pain as possible and will make every effort to make this adventure as smooth as possible.He also strikes up conversations with you through the tattoo and makes it a personal experience. My husband and I wanted a tattoo. For my husband, it was in two sessions. we have to say that Anthony worked on it for about 14 to 15 hours. My tattoo also lasted a few hours. I have to say that for the price we paid, we got value for our money. We are from Belgium and are very happy that we met these people and that they could put our tattoos. There is a pleasant atmosphere and you always get something to eat or drink. The tattoo from my husband, whos a firefighter is so special, with a lot of details. My tattoo is also special with a lots of fine work.

These guys are legit. I’ve had work done 4 separate times on 2 pieces. Anthony and Daniel really compliment each other in their styles, both of my pieces contain work from both artists. If you really want to see them shine, have them do their own custom work. I won’t hesitate to go back, in fact I have a few more pieces planned and they’ll all be done by Daniel’s shop.

Truly a one-of-a-kind studio. Daniel and his staff are some of the most talented and most collaborative artists I have come across.At ocean blue come in with a design idea and work with one of the artists to both flesh out a full concept while also getting valuable feedback on how to best translate the design to a tattoo. They will sit down with you in front of their computer and work in Photoshop so you can see exactly how something is going to look on you and make changes well before any ink starts going on.Their sanitary practices are top-notch and they are the first studio I have been to in the twin cities that uses a modern and state-of-the-art healing technique that involves a medical grade second skin product. The net result is a rapidly healed tattoo, little to no chance of infection, and far less pain while healing. Heck you can even shower with their wrap on!I definitely recommend this place and at the time of this review I have had roughly 15 hours of work done between Daniel and Anthony at ocean blue.

I went yesterday to get a tattoo that i had been putting off for awhile, this was a special tattoo for me so the timing and the place had to be right. I brought in a design that i had in mind and they took the design and improved it to make it look better and it was absolutely perfect. After looking at my other tattoos my artist made a comment that he could tell all my tattoos came from different artists and we chuckled, well i can say for sure that will no longer be the case.....i have found my tattoo artist for all future works. I went to Ocean Blue Tattoo to get a chest panel and half sleeve tattoo. I chose to get a Spinosaurus on the chest panel representing strength and survival and on the half sleeve portion I got 2 samurai masks, 1 with a samurai helmet with my family crest, and the other with a US army helmet. This tattoo represents my Japanese and American heritage as well as my military service. I have maple leaves and smoke in the background representing time passing.I knew it was a wild idea but Daniel made it work and it looks better than I dreamed it would be. Daniel was very nice and professional, he always made sure I was comfortable and his workspace is very clean and has the feel of a art studio. I will definitely be getting more ink at Ocean Blue soon.

There are two parts to this review, the tattoo and the service.Because this is a little lengthy, I’ll include this summary: Tattoo product and quality = great. Service and scheduling = poor. If this is your first tattoo and want to feel at ease with scheduling and being in the shop getting a tattoo, I would recommend going somewhere else. If you have gotten tattoos before and likely not prone to nerves, then the bumps in the road with the service and scheduling provided here might not bother you. I would say if this shop can get it’s scheduling and processes in order so that they are organized and ready for clients, it would go a long way with the overall tattoo experience.My sister and I were both looking to get a tattoo (different from each other.) My artist, Tenzin, did a great job on the hot air balloon, picture included. I love the tattoo and how it looks. It’s exactly what I wanted it to look like. My sister got a lilac branch connecting to one of her previous tattoos. Her artist, Daniel, did a great job with the colors and artistry. It was a main reason we picked Ocean Blue, as the photos on the website showed some awesome colored tattoos.The issues we ran into were scheduling, service, and price of the tattoos. I scheduled right when the shop opens. I walked in, was told they’d be with me in a minute, waited about 10 minutes and then had a consultation with Tenzin. He was very helpful, but I could tell he was looking to the owner, Daniel, for assurance on some things. Daniel was consulting on another tattoo right next to us. So I sat with another person, and their friend, both of us consulting on our tattoos at the same time without much privacy.When we finished up, I asked to schedule for a specific date in August, so that my sister could travel to get the tattoo. We found a date and confirmed verbally that we could schedule for 1pm, when they first open. Daniel told Tenzin not to write it on the calendar. I figured it may have been a different way he wanted to schedule it. I was told my tattoo would be $150 and my sister’s would be $250.The week before the scheduled date, I called to confirm the appt, based on my uneasiness of the appt not being written down when I was there. I spoke with Daniel on the phone, he seemed a little confused at first when I told him I was calling to confirm the date and time of our appointment, but eventually confirmed the appointment. He called me back about an hour later and asked about what the tattoos were. Understandably, there may have been confusion, as our tattoos were put together on one consultation paper. Once he realized they were two different tattoos, he said he had them both.We arrived at the shop at 1 pm for the tattoos. They seated us and gave us paperwork to complete. While we were doing this, before Daniel had arrived, the others asked what the tattoos were of. We gave them the descriptions of our tattoos. They found my tattoo, but couldn’t find the lilac branch. They even asked us, “Are you getting a ‘serotonin’ tattoo?”Somehow they finally found the pictures/consultation paperwork and started the tattoos. My sister said that she was hoping to have the tattoo be a little bit larger in size when applying the outline. Daniel responded, “I’ll have to clear my whole schedule if we go any bigger.” So she felt a little uncomfortable during the tattoo because of this comment. She was also a little surprised to see some additions to the final product of her tattoo that were not included in the original outline that was applied. You can see the “ribbons” around the lilac branch in the photo included. I will note that the tattoo looks great and she likes the effect of the ribbons now, but after immediately getting the tattoo, she was surprised and shocked.All the while that we were receiving our tattoos, there were interruptions with other clients or shop workers that Daniel would have to stop to talk to people or even walk away from the chair. Finally, when we paid, they charged us both about $50 more per tattoo than originally agreed upon in the consultation.

Daniel and Anthony are very talented artists. Daniel did an amazing job creating a watercolor tattoo to cover up scars on my arm (Nov 2017). Its beautiful.

Daniel is creative, experienced, funny, and deceptively easy-going. He took time to listen to me, but he also kept an eye on what was going on around him. I respect his professionalism. Plus, they use brand new supplies. No autoclaves to insure top cleanliness.

On our way from Indiana to the Mall of America, my friend decided she wanted a tattoo so we stopped at Ocean Blue. She liked the work so much she went back the next day for another one, and we all ended up getting tattoos! The work was very professional and at a much lower price than we would find in our area. It was a great experience and a highlight of our trip.

I came in asking for him to fix my tattoo, i have before during and after photos on my googleplus account and if you had seen the disaster that I had had on my chest ....lets just say the outline that I had disaster is a bit of an understatement. Daniel asked me what I wanted to do I said I have no idea you as the artist I was certain that you would think of something amazing to fix this lol im pretty open he told me that was fine he asked me a few key things that he wanted to know about my interests and personality and a little later contacted me and told me he had the idea Medusa! I was in shock by the design and that he could come up with something so creative and so detailed so quickly. He is an amazing artist and works amazingly with making sure his clients are happy with not only the tattoo itself but that they are happy and comfortable during the process as well. I refer all my friends to Daniel my girlfriend is about to get a tattoo from him soon as well im excited to see her get a new piece even though she does have more tattoos then me :( lol

Did a walk in at this shop and had a pleasant experience! Wanted simple moon outline tattoos. The shop was clean and professional. We were told we had to wait for a draw up of the moon but weren’t given much communication from there (timeframe, etc). After 15 minutes we were seated for tattoos and out of the shop within 20 minutes for tattooing and aftercare instructions. Staff was very professional and educational.

I walked in for a consultation for a very easy tattoo. Waited 15 min or so (which us both big deal) The guy that help me (I think his name was Daniel) was rude and rushed me. I was going to charge me $50 for a down payment because they couldnt get me in for a couple weeks (which is fine, even though that was half of the amount of the total tattoo cost) then I spoke with my friend & we decided to get a second quote first. He then told me right after I asked my friend that hes too busy for me right now so I left. The shop is super messy & the customer service was awful. I will never get a tattoo here.I appreciate your reply but the fact that you said I smelled like marijuana is extremely offensive and judgmental. I smoke cigarettes and a tobacco vape pen and that alone. I do not smoke marijuana this goes to show how unprofessional you are. I chose a different shop, which was much better. Dont make assumption on people you know nothing about. If I could give you zero star I would now.

I have been coming here for over two years and have gotten several pieces done and have LOVED all of them! I recently went there to get a very detailed, black ink tattoo done and met a new artist who recently started working there, Tenzin. Danny, who is my normal tattoo artist, passed me off to Tenzin explaining that he did really clean line work and he was not kidding! I was absolutely blown away by Tenzins work and it has become one of my favorite tattoos! Tenzin was very easy to work with and Danny has found himself an extremely talented new tattoo artist. If you are looking for a clean, detailed, and beautiful tattoo, Tenzin is one of the artists you should ask for!

I just moved to MN & was out for my birthday when I saw this shop & decided to stop in with my girlfriend. Upon entering, no one greeted us so we sat on the couch & waited. I figured maybe they were all busy. So we were waiting about 6 or 7 minutes before an Asian male approached us, asking if we had a consultation appointment. I responded with a no, that we were just stopping in. He looked at us & then went to the back for a few minutes & came back to ask what I wanted. It was a simple & small tattoo that was line work only. He then asked my girlfriend if she was getting a tattoo & she replied with no. He asked where I wanted it & I told him my sideburn area. It looked as though he smirked & scoffed a little then said something about how only one artist could or would be best for this tattoo (mind you, its line work. A simple sigil) but that he was busy so today is not a good day for a tattoo. He then asked if we are from out of town, & seemed as though he smirked after we responded yes to that question. Seeing everyones reviews, it appears as though this shop has some very talented artists. Which is great. However, I would never personally go back due to the lack of customer service that I experienced. Im heavily tattooed myself & I understand if some places dont accept walk ins, are too busy, or simply do not want to do a smaller piece. Not a problem at all! I figured I would at least walk out with information or possibly a consultation appointment for the next time. But no. Just rude customer service & practically being ushered out the door. It was Tuesday, around 4pm when I stopped in. Totally disappointed.

Few years back got work done there. First session went ok, ink looked fine. The second session was a complete disaster. Paid 300 bucks for what he called smoke around the dragon. He kept yammering on and on about how everyone loves his smoke. All it turned out to be was black blobs that added no esthetic value. But what really pisses me off to this day every time I look at it is how he enchroached on a previous dragon I had. Basically went out of his way to ruin another artists work. Never again will I go, and I suggest you pay close attention to what he does. When he sees this review he will try to pretend I was never there BTW. Thats his deal, deny any negative reaction.

I really liked going to that place, they are very friendly and professional, the man who tattooed me I do not remember his name was very attentive and what I liked is that they offer you water or soda and you can take it alone, that makes you feel more comfortable as if you were at home, Im sure Ill come back ,sorry for my bad english 😅

Great artists that take their time and are very detailed in their work. They are very easy to work with and keep the client in mind. Shop could be a little cleaner. A little on the pricier side but well worth it.

Very pleased with final product of tattoo, but both artists there at time reeked of smoke, place was cluttered,food all over desk. They have tattooderm which helps tattoo heal nicely without any work on your own part!

Ive contacted them a couple times and they seemed to not really want my business. They acted like I was an inconvenience because I called for information vs going online and they told me to just go online and contact them that way. As a new customer I asked all those annoying questions that most people do w million times a day so talking to me seemed to be more mandatory than inviting.

Front desk staff was friendly. Told me he was on his way when I first showed up then no explanation or update. After 30 minutes, I just left. I drove 1.5 hours both ways. Waste of my time and gas.
