I went in today and Spencer did an AMAZING job on my dads memorial tattoo. Im 100% please with their work and how it turned out. Everyone is friendly and laid back. Highly recommend

Kay was wonderful! This was my first bigger tattoo in a more visible spot and she did a great job drawing up a personal design based on what I described/showed her. She’s super sweet and talented, I will be back! The shop was also very clean, SUPER cute, and it’s a very welcoming environment.

For a place to get my first tattoo, it was an amazing place! I loved the atmosphere as my artist Kay, who I have to give a round of applause as she flawlessly explained the process of getting a tattoo to a newcomer such as myself. Having someone with this bountiful amount of knowledge and experience as your first artist helped ease the stress and nervousness. So I have to give a huge thanks to her as well as the rest of the Red Lotus team for their friendliness and hospitality! You guys are the best!

Belle was absolutely amazing! She did a great job creating what I had envisioned for my piece. She was super friendly and kind and made me feel very at ease. She taught me some new things about aftercare that no other artist has ever taught me before. I definitely intend to come back and see her again!

I want to start out and say I enjoyed the experience with the artist but i was totally ripped off. I paid $200 for a tattoo from an apprentice that had only been tattooing skin for 1 month. I like my final product but there are some smudging on the ink and i feel for $200 I could’ve gone elsewhere and left with a better finished design. I feel very taken advantage of and upset :/ She was super sweet but 100% ripped me off.

I will hands down, only ever use Mark for any future tattoos I get. Throughout the whole process of designing and tattooing he was very thorough and friendly. I live a couple hours away from the shop but have no problem driving to deal with Mark again. Mark, as well as anyone else I dealt with at Red Lotus was extremely nice and welcoming. Anyone I speak to, I will definitely send Mark’s way. The tattoo is even better than I anticipated.

Went to this location for my first tattoo. Was told unlimited touch ups for life. Got 1 touch up and color added 3 months after getting the initial tattoo. Was planning on getting a second tattoo and the color touched up on the first tattoo (its been 6 months since the 1st touch up & the color was added)and was told Im supposedly abusing the artists services and that the artist is no longer interested in doing the type of piece that I want. Terrible customer service if you want repeat customers. Especially saying one thing then doing another... Now I have to find another shop and artist to explain what Im looking for, for the tattoo I want, and see if they can also touch up the other one for me. Completely ridiculous! And management is allowing this?!

A week after tattoo was done over half the tattoo faded was told there would be a charge for what they said was touch up but it needed to be fixed. This was not done correctly first color should not fade in a week even the black disappeared! Added review on their Fb page and of course taken right down. Shop does not stand by their work. This tattoo was to cover up an abusers name and was very emotional and to see the name again a week later appear is terrible!!!!

Called in and was able to meet someone same day for ta small finger tattoo. Met with Belle. She was super nice and easy to talk to. Will come again for touch up or new tattoo. Give them a call!

I just had my first tattoo done by Katie. She was super friendly and professional. She made sure to get the design how I wanted it and made me comfortable for my first time. I would definitely recommend her!

Set up an appointment with Katie, she wanted to push it out because she overbooked herself. Asked me if I was okay with pushing my own appointment out, and when I told her I would prefer not to do that. She canceled my appointment and said she no longer wanted to work with me. Extremely unprofessional behavior. This is 2022, what happened to talking like adults? Disappointing. Would not recommend.

My husband and I got tattoos from this shop at the Grand Casino Hinckley Tattoo Festival. Walking around the convention center this team was the only one to greet us and strike up conversation. My husband and I decided to get our tattoos there because they were the only people who tried to be friendly. My husband got two tattoos for his first time. I got a small one on my wrist. Not only were they quick and efficient but very fun to talk to and an extremely fair price. My tattoo artist Kayla even won second place in the womans color tattoo competition and it was her first festival. They take advantage of modern technology through tablets and art programs to perfect the tattoo that you want.For no additional charge my artist Kayla even fixed a tattoo I had done by a different shop a year ago. Friendly, quality, efficient, and reasonable. I would recommend this shop to any one. 100/10 stars. Please go here.Edit: I have gone back to this shop multiple times since my last review. Still 150% satisfied! Mark and Amanda make such great art and execute incredible tattoos! Two visits ago Mark drew up an amazing hummingbird and I am so proud to wear it. My most recent tattoo my mother and I got matching tattoos and Amanda made them better than any other image we could find! She also touched up two of my other tattoos because we already had the ink out. So kind. Will NEVER go to another shop!!

The tattooist I had had unstable hands and did a sloppy job. I got a simple small tattoo and will get a cover up soon. I wanted a specific artist there but just got whoever was there, amanda i think, it might just be their art style but idk. Costing $80, for something that lasted less than a 2 minutes. A friend of mine went to tattoo for a little bigger, 30 minutes, and she paid $75. Make it make sense.

Im giving red lotus tattoo a 5. I researched quite a lot of shops and red lotus had the all 5 star reviews and beautiful art work. Ive emailed my tattoo idea to them so Im giving a this review without having work done and I really believe my tattoo will be a gorgeous piece of work!!

I’ve had 3 tattoos with miranda and they’ve all been great! the shop was clean and welcoming. miranda made sure i was taken care of and comfortable throughout the whole process. definitely coming back again.

I loved the atmosphere. It wasnt too loud and disruptive which was nice. Michael Fletcher was extremely professional and did an amazing job fixing someone elses previously messed up work on my chest. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Red Lotus Tattoo – What a Disappointment!So, over a period of three weeks I called the shop to schedule a touch-up of a tattoo that I had done on Mother’s Day 2014. Each time I called the shop I was required to leave a voice message b/c no one ever answers their phone. After being discouraged and disappointed by the poor customer service, I emailed the shop and explained my situation. The next day I did receive a phone call and was told that the artist who did my tattoo had left the shop, but that they would still uphold their policy about free touch-ups. I made an appointment and was looking forward to finally getting my tattoo “fixed.” Unfortunately, when I went to the shop yesterday for a scheduled appointment the place was dark and the doors locked. I waited 15 minutes but no one showed up. I called the shop, heard the phone ringing inside, and once again had to leave a voice message. That’s it! I’m done! Don’t waste your time with this shop. They apparently don’t care about their clients and don’t have the professionalism to return phone calls or show up for a scheduled appointment. I’ve found a reputable tattoo shop in Fridley that I will be giving my business to. It’s sad that I have to pay out-of-pocket to get a tattoo fixed that I’ve already paid Red Lotus for. Never again, Red Lotus. You’ve lost our entire family’s business and any family or friends who ask about my tattoo I’ll be sure to tell them – DO NOT have Red Lotus work on you b/c they simply don’t care about the customer.

Went in for the first time a few days ago and I was impressed at how profesional they were. All the forms are paperless and they have very good covid19 precautions! The atmosphere was great. On top of that the staff were very friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back for more.

Was supposed to get a tattoo with Mike, set up the consult and had it all figured out, then the day for the appointment came and he never showed up. Gave me a deal to come back a week later and he still wasnt done with the drawing and was an hour late. Most unprofessional experience ive ever had. Everyone else seemed nice and professional, just not Mike.

Should of listened to a man who stopped us as we were walking in he warned us about lack of skills at this shop.All of the artists seemed friendly and nice ,I got work done by Miranda worst decision I made I got two small butterfly’s on my arm I asked her to change the size of them once and she was already annoyed not to mention she didn’t want to do complicated work as she was rushed to be with another customer like cmon if you didn’t have the time why take us in.I asked her to not shade in the smaller butterfly as the bigger one looks like a blob and she simply did not put any time of effort for my first tattoo this was the worst experience me and my partner have had.
