Have yet to have any work done by these folks, but I can say that customer service is 10 out of 10 so far. That is from just having a quote done on some work that I will definitely be getting from them in the near future. Friendly faces, good attitude, and as far as I can tell do some excellent work. Looking forward to see their skill sets. Give The Chapel some consideration when it comes time to get some new ink done! Thank you for the good vibes when I came thru the other day. Very Welcoming! A friend of mine recommended that I go here and let Josie do my first tattoo. I am SO glad that I did!Josie worked with me on the design I wanted and got it perfect. She gave me a very reasonable price and scheduled me with ease.She was SO comforting throughout the entire process and stopped several times just to make sure I was okay since it was my first time. My friend, with many tattoos, told me if it were anyone else tattooing me, Id probably be crying if that tells yall how great Josie is with her touch.10/10 I recommend Josie at The Chapel and will be using her for many more tattoos in the future!

I’ve had a tattoo done here before by Jeff Mitchel and had a great experience, but my recent experience with a different artist was much different.I was told he is no longer there. So I used a different artist, who assured me she was the one to complete the start to my sleeve. A nature themed tattoo, which the artist specifies confidence with this type of work.I paid my deposit and booked a date, just for it to be rescheduled because she said she didn’t have enough time to complete a sketch and wanted to draw something she was proud of and asked if I could reschedule. Me being totally fine and understanding, we rescheduled about a month out.Well a month later and 3 days before my rescheduled appointment, I message her just to confirm my appointment because I wasn’t shown a sketch yet, and she messages me back saying she can no longer do my tattoo because she isn’t confident in her skills to tattoo wrap around trees on my forearm and said I can get my depot back. I am a very understanding person, but I am highly irritated that she waited 2 days before my already rescheduled appointment just to tell me she’s backing out. I wish she would have just told me initially that this was out of her skill level without wasting my time.

I haven’t been to this shop, but I did request a draw of a dragon I wanted done. Now at the time they said they were booked up after being closed cause of the pandemic. This I totally understood. They asked me to give details of what I wanted and what artist I wanted since there was quite a few. Even though the person I chose was a pretty popular pick, I was told to still give details and they would draw and make my design. I told them to even give me to someone else. I wasn’t picky on who I went too. I saw a lot of amazing art on their page and was pretty excited. It has been late summer/fall of last year. I haven’t heard from no one, I haven’t received any reply back since that conversation even though I was told they would. I was still truthfully STILL waiting till this day. I finally gave up.

New Jeff tattooed me today and I had a great time, he has been a tattoo artist for over 20 years! The guy at the counter wasnt super attentive but otherwise everything was clean and professional. Be aware that there is a 4% fee if you use a card, its best to grab cash at your bank unless you are fine with paying the $3.50 ATM fee.

Very satisfied with my experience. My girlfriend and I got two tattoos done yesturday with Jeff. Everyone in the shop is very welcoming and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. I love the music that they were playing which is also a plus. Jeff did an amazing job on our tattoos, and we will definitely be going back there in the future. Best tattoo shop in Monroe by far.

People come from all over to get work done by these guys. Ill never use anyone but Allen!Update: still the best in the south. Literally. These cats are always evolving and always doing the most amazing things around. If its permanent, its worth getting in with the best🤘 This is the way.

I was passing by chapel and run in to know more about the place for a future tattoo, future was to far away when i saw that the artists that work there everyone won tattoo competitions all along the country and Europe. Rogerio artist and owner it’s a awesome artist and overlays my expectation. Every line with quality and dedication. Thank you Chapel for showing me the love of tattooing. As i said, future it’s far away, brainstorming my next tattoo 💪🏽

The experience was awesome. Everyone was hands on and made sure that my ex wife got the tattoo that she was hoping for. She has been more than pleased with everything she has gotten from there and for me as a retired tattoo artist I will be getting all my new ones and old ones that I got elsewhere fixed up and done there.

I highly recommend josie, the apprentice! they worked me in right before they closed, and did a great job. definitely coming back.

The best tattoo studio in town with all award winning artists, and they do an amazing job on everything. Especially Jon White! He is a phenomenal tattoo artist that does beautiful color and clean lines.

I definitely recommend this shop for any body needs. Very professional and hard working. Kenneth has done all of my recent art work and never lets me down. Highly recommended artist and shop.

If you want an award winning artist and not a scratcher. You go to the chapel. Quality isnt cheap, and its on your body. So make the trip.

Jon was fast without being sloppy. Artists were kind and insightful to what I might want, and Jon really got the ink on me without dilly-dallying.

Great professionalism. Allen does top tier ink work. Staff was very nice and VERY helpful. Highly recommend.
