Chris was great! We called as a group of 5 looking to get spur of the moment matching tattoos and he scheduled us in the next morning. It was the first tattoo of someone in our group and he was very patient and educational walking her through what to expect during and after. He did a great job adding color customization to each tattoo on the fly! Ill definitely be back for another.

So I did a thing in New Orleans! We drove in from San Antonio Texas to spend a few days for my wives bday. While there we had the great idea to get tattoos! Well, we called around and most places were either booked out or didnt answer the phone. While driving around in the Garden District we found this gem and decided to try our luck! My wife gave Scott Allen the design I wanted. Now... Im a first timer. I know... 40+ jazz musician with no tattoos. But i was determined and Scott drew up an amazing design for me. He took his time, explained everything, tweeked the design From beginning to end he was so professional. Great music playlist of 70s funk and really felt at ease and safe. They took all the COVID precautions and i felt very good about this place! 1.5 hrs later i had my very 1st tattoo and the beginning of my sleeve. Scott was amazing, lines are clean shading was good ( I might have watched way to much Ink Master!) Just over all a great 1st experience and now... Im coming back so Scott can do some more work!

Scott was awesome! I messaged him a couple of weeks before coming to New Orleans with a group of 5 we all had ideas on what we wanted he redesigned some of are ideas and they all came out amazing. I highly recommend. Thanks for the ink and for the Frankenstein drawing

I had a wonderful experience here! I went in with a group about an hour before closing and we requested small tattoos. Scott was the only person in the shop and he was kind enough to take us. He did an absolutely wonderful job! He was very kind, welcoming, sterilized everything, was incredibly patient, and we all ended with a great experience. We were done an hour and a half after closing yet he didn’t seem upset at all. Conversation was also great.

Me and my best friend went in here and we were lucky because I had my son and they are the only tattoo shop on magazine that told us yes. With that being said they were amazing! Don did an amazing job on me and best friends matching tattoos and made us feel very comfortable we will definitely be back and absolutely love our tattoos!

I am in love with this shop and I’ve been to many tattoo shops. All of the artists are knowledgeable and courteous, each artist has such good portfolios it’s hard to pick one. I went with Chris and he gave me the design I wanted and more! The shop is comfortable and very clean. Chris was very patient with me and collaborated so that we made sure that my tattoo was the work of art I imagined it to be. I will be working with Chris again in just a few weeks for my next tattoo, I recommend Tattoo A GoGo to anyone!

It was the closest tattoo shop to where we were staying. The name hooked us. The 4.7 rating hooked us. The service is excellent. The employees are friendly. One thing we learned from them is when you go to a new town and you want to know where to eat, hit up a tattoo shop, they talk about food all day long while theyre there. LOL @scottallentattoer is a gem.

Came in as a walk in and both artists were so friendly and welcoming which can be pretty rare. Chris was great to work with and took my idea and turned it into something more beautiful than I imagined. I would 100% recommend him and this shop.

We went in as walk-ins for the afternoon, and got a great service there and then. Absolutely incredible guys at the shop, we got tattoos that we are proud to show off, and they really went above and beyond with their level of service. When we return to NOLA, we will be back there.

I just got a tattoo here from Chris, he came up with a beautiful design for a fairly large back piece on really short notice, I’m SO happy with the finished result. It was probably the most painful area of my body that I’ve had tattooed up to this point, and I was shaking pretty hard but my twitchy muscles did not affect the quality of his work in the slightest, and for the size of the tattoo he finished quickly.Great vibes, very fair pricing, skilled artists, would 100% recommend.

Working with Donn Davis is a great experience; he is the real deal! I gave him a few ideas, and he was able to create an entire sleeve for me that looked great. It was also my first tattoo; he never criticized me and was very supportive. He educated me through the whole process. He coached me what to do regarding preparing myself, checks on me throughout my sessions, and offered an ample amount of guidance for the healing process. The other tattoo artists are always polite, and the whole shop has a very relaxed vibe. It is a clean place, and they do a great job of following the new Covid-19 guidelines. I very much look forward to continuing to work with him and would recommend Tattooagogo to anyone looking for a professional studio with people that are easy to talk to and make great tattoos.

TattooAGoGo is a very clean and professional shop with a comfortable atmosphere. Donn, Scott and Chris are all great, experienced artist and great people. I have been going to Donn, the owner for years. He is currently working on finishing my Japanese traditional leg sleeve. I highly recommeend TattooAGoGo and all of their talented artist !

Simply the best. The customer service was unreal. I was so picky about exactly how I needed my tattoo done and Kenny was so patient and understanding. He never got annoyed. He just wanted to help the best he could and he executed everything flawlessly in good time when it was designed the way i wanted. I wont go to any other tattoo shop. Im definitely sold.

Very unprofessional, waits to the last minute to notify the clients on issues. The boss is very argumentative and just trying to make his shop looks good for their mistakes. Nobody was going to leave an unattended baby in the waiting room. You waited last minute to make conditions instead of communicating ahead of time on the situation. Come with the facts not stupidity. I know many people that got Covid but still can communicate through phone or text messages or in some way. Just because you are acting unprofessional doesnt mean the clients are wrong. Dont wait last minute to do things and problems wont happen.

I cant speak for the rest of the guys at the shop, but Ive had a bad experience with Scott, he cancels on me the day before I was scheduled to get my sleeve worked on, I ask him can we reschedule and he straight ignores my text completely . Mind you this guy did all my tattoos , it was birthday and I was very upset because I waited a long time to get this done. Once again Im only speaking from my own experience ....talk about unprofessional !

What a great place to get my first sizeable tattoo. My fiance and I came in today to get matching tattoos and Donn (the owner) helped us accomplish just that! We love our fleur de lis tattoos and Donn was so kind, very helpful and we had fun talking to him throughout both tattoos. For a New Orleans tat, look no further!

I got my first tattoo yesterday. It was done by Ken Cox. I was a little nervous but they were very nice and professional. Im very happy with the results and would love to come back in a few months for another. Ideas are flowing!

Donn Davis is a master tattoo artist. Entrusted his talents for a memorial tattoo for my fiance and his friend. He delivered and then some. From concept to execution, professional, accommodating, and empathetic. Highly recommend him. And Im not just saying that because hes a friend of mine.

The holy grail of tattoo shops in New Orleans! Babely artists with talent, skill and personality to match their good looks. Clean shop. Mat Welch spent his entire day drawing my piece. When I came in an hour late and decided i wanted something different, he was completely tolerant and open to the idea even though he had another appointment in the books. The lines came out unbelievably clean, the experience was as pleasant as getting a bunch of needles stuck into your chest could ever possibly be. I cant wait to go back to see what he does with the color. Seriously, these guys are the most rad!

Kind of an impromptu job on my end -it was essentially a walk-in with two hours notice... Mat is where its at! Out of the gate I was just a little put off by the price for the work I was getting, but what they say is true - You get what you pay for! This was the most expensive piece Ive gotten, and its the best Ive gotten. After checkin out a few different places around town, I think Ive found MY go-to, go-go spot.

Very disappointed I stopped by because of the great reviews and wanted to schedule getting a very small tattoo. Unfortunately no one wanted to or was able to do the tattoo and my business was turned away.The shop was impressive, just be aware you may be turned away.

Scotts professionalism, patience w/a 1st timer & penmanship were incredible! If I were to get another, Scott would be my 1st go to. worthy☆
