Treasure Tattoo

I couldn’t recommend the place enough! I was coming down to Mississippi to visit my family and came across Christopher in a tattoo Facebook group. I messaged him and got scheduled for the day of my choosing. This shop feels different than most tattoo/piercing shops I’ve been in, it’s not cold or industrial feeling but still very clean. There’s lots of natural light and plants that create a warm and bright atmosphere. I used to get intimidated going into some shops but not this place at all. Brittany was at the front desk and checked me in. Christopher did my 2 tattoos and made me feel comfortable the whole time and did AMAZING work. Both of them were s very cool and made me feel welcomed. I’ve been looking for a traditional tattooer to stick with and I think Christopher will be my guy from here on out. Thanks guys!

Came here with 2 of my friends so we could get matching tattoos. We were walk ins, with our tattoo already drawn out and they were more than happy to assist us! All 3 gentlemen there (Roy, Chris, and Wayne I believe their names were), did such an amazing job and were such nice people. Highly recommend going and will be back next time I am in NOLA!

Me and my husband had an amazing experience here! Stacy is just the best and gave me and my husband clean tattoos that we love. She also really cared and wanted to make sure we loved our tattoos. Next time I am in town I will be returning for some more work! Also they have the cutest shop dog❤️

Yooooooo I dont know why I never thought of writing a review for Treasure before, but anyway here goes...I met Stacey at an art show and she gave me her card after hearing me complain about a horrible tattoo that was mostly black ink and no one I had met was confident that they could cover it up well. Long story short, she has covered or added on to 3 of my embarrassing tattoos and Ive gotten 3 other new ones from her. She is amazing and it is incredible what she has done for my self esteem with her art.She is super chill and whenever I message her with a new idea, we go back and forth and its like she has read my mind when I finally see what she has drawn up. Its crazy because I am so bad at explaining anything!I trusted her to tattoo my actual head with whatever she wanted and was not disappointed. She is truly the best!I even sent my mom (she had been very much not ok with my tattoos in the past) to have her eyebrows tattooed and now theyre best friends (for real, they both remind me every time).... so idk what youre waiting for, just book the appointment!*sorry they arent the best photos, Im bad at photos*

Stopped and got a tattoo while visiting Nola with my partner. Absolutely loved this place! Chris (my tattoo artist) was absolutely great. I almost passed out during the process and Chris literally talked me down from it. Wonderful guy, wonderful shop. Also, I found out the queen died during the middle of my tattoo, so that was cool.

My wife and I were walk-ins looking to get an idea we had for an anniversary tattoo done. They saw our idea, added their own touch and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Chris and Roy were so nice and welcoming!

My fiancee and I got matching tattoos here while visiting New Orleans. Allie Cat gave us the best tattoo experience Ive ever had. The shop was clean and comfortable, the artists were friendly, the music was great. Plus we found out the Queen died in the middle of my tattoo, so that was pretty cool.

I got my first tattoo here while my wife and I were on our honeymoon. She wanted a tattoo to commemorate our trip, so I looked up the best nearby and this was the first result with the highest ratings.The stars don’t lie. I was EXTREMELY impressed. It was bright, clean, welcoming, and accepting. Not at all what I expected from a tattoo shop, especially coming from my home town of Indianapolis. They were communicative and very skilled, and provided excellent service at excellent prices. One of their artists went above and beyond when returning my wife her forgotten wallet more than 4 hours after our visit, even after they had closed.They were very understanding of this being my first tattoo and very communicative in explaining to me how it works and how I’ll need to care for it afterwards for the best results. My artist allowed me to speak to her throughout the entire process for the sake of easing my nerves and distracting me from the pain. Though I was absolutely rambling, she listened actively and made me feel absolutely comfortable.When I ever return to New Orleans, I will strongly consider investing in another visit. Thank you once again.

Thank Heavens for Treasure Tattoo! I have been tattooed by Jamie Ruth, Stacey Colangelo and visiting artist Hillary Fisher White at this shop and every time Ive been as pleased as punch. The ladies here (as well as the gentleman who recently joined the team) run a clean, respectable shop. Each artist has taken the time to discuss ideas thoroughly with me before drawing and has maintained a sincere interest in my desires. I have always felt welcomed, comfortable and completely satisfied with my experience. Stacey has tattooed me several times along with several of my co-workers and friends (we like to match). She is the top-notch, incredibly professional and has a wonderful sense of humor. If you are looking for a clean, well-run, female owned, queer friendly, bad-ass tattoo parlour, look no further.

Went there for my second tattoo, got great consultation before getting anything done. Got some good advice on size & placement of what I wanted. Ended up getting scheduled with Daniel, real cool guy, did real good work. Came out exactly how I pictured/ wanted it. It was a bit pricey (I got my first tattoo done for $60) but totally worth it in my opinion. Definitely plan on returning to get my first tattoo touched up.

As soon as I walked into the shop and heard riot grrrl music playing I knew this place was for me. Stacey was very easy to get a hold of and we coordinated my sister and I getting a tattoo with ease. Stacey is incredibly sweet and an amazing artist. I can’t sing her praises enough. This was my sister’s first tattoo and she is in love with the peony that Stacey drew for her. I got a leopard print tattoo and I love it! Shop was very clean and organized. Stacey was lovely to talk with and very encouraging. Amazing tattoo shop in New Orleans.

Got a tattoo here with Stacey she was very professional super friendly and very talented, gave me a good price as well. Compared to the other tattoos I’ve gotten this is by far the cleanest less painful tattoo she has a very gentle and light hand which didn’t put painful pressure. Tattoo came out in point definitely heading back so she can do my other part of the sleeve🙏🏽.

I have two plant themed tattoos, both done here by Stacy. She’s amazing to work with and a great artist. Highly recommend this shop. Jaimie and Walt also seem down to earth and have great tattoos in their portfolio. I wouldn’t hesitate to receive a tattoo from anyone at Treasure Tattoo!

There are so many wonderful things to say about Treasure tattoo and the lovely ladies that work there! Stacey is the best and was super easy to talk to. I felt like I was being tattooed by my best friend! Jamie was super friendly and Foxey was super sweet and chill! I will definitely be coming back 🙂😍

Treasure Tattoo is a super cool place to get tattooed! My brother, a friend of mine, and I have been tattooed by Stacey and another friend was tattooed by Jamie. All of us are super pleased about the work we had done! Stacey and Jamie are both very talented artists and easy to work with and the shop has a super cool vibe. My brother and I have both had multiple tattoos done at Treasure and both of us plan to go back for more. I love that place!

Treasure tattoo is clean, neat, and has a very cool atmosphere. Additionally, I am in love with my tattoo that was done by the buildings guest, Madeline. I love this place, and Madeline made my experience fun, while also doing exactly what I wanted with my tattoo. I have no problem paying for a tattoo that was done with care and extreme attention

My husband and I got matching tattoos last night with Stacey and we cannot say enough great things about Treasure Tattoos! Not only did they keep the shop open for us way past closing (they were supposed to close at 7 & we got there at 6:55 🙈), but the pricing was so fair! They have a minimum charge of $80 that is very reasonable for the quality of their work. All equipment was sterile and/or disposable and Stacey had no problem showing us beforehand. The conversation was great and the resident dog Foxy was even better lol its a little out of the way from main tourist attractions like the French Quarter, but so worth it! Owned and operated by very talented women. Thank you Stacey!

My Bff and I both had an awesome experience at Treasure Tatoo, the two of us wanted to commemorate our volunteer date at VillaLobos Rescue Center with a Pitbull Tatoo! Of course the same Tat! So Jamie and Stacey put their Guns to work Simultaneously. And we now wear the same Tattoo, but each is unique to its Artist. We love our Pups!

Ive had a tattoo on my calf that was originally done about 7 years ago by an artist in my home state. I did not turn out well; bad line work muddy colors and you couldnt even tell what the tattoo was supposed to be. Daniel took this existing tattoo and worked magic on it. He turned an illegible blob into the tattoo it should have originally been, and better He is an incredibly skilled artist and I am extremely happy with his work

I visited Treasure Tattoo last December and plan to return soon. Stacey was easy to reach via email and had no problem coordinating my appointment even though I live out of town. Her work is impeccable.

Jamie did my tattoo and she did an amazing job. She is a beautiful artist, made some enhancements to what I brought in and explained why. Friendly atmosphere and a great experience. I love it!

Cosmetic tattooists are hard to find. I had a small area of skin cancer removed last summer. As a result, I lost half of my left eyebrow. After calling around to several shops in the New Orleans area, I was referred to Staci at Treasure Tattoo. After my initial consultation, I felt very comfortable entrusting Staci with my eyebrow work as well as a shoulder piece. Both exceeded my expectations. This isnt a huge shop with 15 artists and stations. It IS an intimate shop with 2 rock star girls, banging out top-notch work in a clean, comfortable, hygienic environment.

Granddaughter had her second tattoo there excellent work artist is from a town in Illinois close to where we are from small word. Everyone is very very nice! Looking for a tattoo they are a must!

OMG.....Stacy was my artist and she did an amazing job on my cover up....Her And Jamie was so helpful in helping me find the right art to cover up a name....And should I say they made me feel really comfortable and the place is beautiful and very clean....I would suggest them to anyone and Ill definitely be back next week to complete another session....You Ladies Rock....I left 5 stars because that was the most I can leave...I would have definitely Left 100 stars....Love You Ladies, Javarnna
