I was in town visit for a family wedding, and happened to come across Joel’s shop through search. I’m so glad I did! I love finding new artists when I travel, and Joel perfectly executed my idea with his own unique style and twist, I love it!The shop is also beautiful, and very clean. Joel really ensures your comfort through the whole process, which I love in an artist. Whether you’re a local or traveler, I absolutely recommend this shop. I can only hope I’ll be back soon to get a full color van goor specialty in the future!

We won a coupon for $100 off a tattoo at Lucky Lucy’s Burlesque Bingo! Joel, or Gentle Joel as he’s called, was professional, prompt and an all around class act. The shop was clean and inviting. He was informative and accommodating!! …and best of all he’s from MARYLAND and a huge Anwan Glover (Big G) and BackYard Band Fan!! When in town, look him up and get you a real masterpiece?

Joel has done two tattoos on me and both of them are amazing! They have both healed amazingly and still look as good as they did day one! Joel is a great tattoo artist and makes the experience as comfortable as possible. Cannot recommend him enough!

Joel was great! Very accommodating, great communication, professional, listened to what I wanted, and ensured a smooth and comfortable experience. Over the span of a few sessions he transformed an outline ( a piece started by a different artist 5 yrs ago) and turned it into the piece I had envisioned it would be!

I first got a tattoo from Joel back in 2015 and he’s been my favorite artist since. I now have 4 pieces by him all of which have healed beautifully and holding their lines and color. Look forward to getting more work from him soon.
