Not only is Amy a phenomenal artist, but an absolutely wonderful person, too! I’m so happy with my piece, and she’s been proactive with thorough care instructions & fast to respond to any questions. She made me feel so comfortable that my watch registered me as asleep for a total of 7 times over two days (despite being awake the whole time) 😄 I cannot recommend her highly enough!!

Amy Zager is a polished and professional badass. 100% would get tattooed by her again.I reached out to her for one of my bucket list tattoos and quite enjoyed the whole process. I had a general idea but not all the details and she was great at asking the right questions to get a shared mental model.Im so in love with the result. Worth traveling for and worth waiting for her schedule to open up (theres a reason it is so full!). Also, her studio is a fever dream in the best possible way - I could look at the art on the walls for hours.

Where to even begin. Amy is such a wonderful person and an absolutely amazing tattoo artist. Starting from the concept of the tattoo she made the process so simple and easy and really helped bring my vision to life. Her studio is extremely clean and inviting and you can tell that she takes great pride in her space. She is a delight to talk to and made getting through each one of my sessions on this piece so much easier. I always felt so comfortable when I came in for my sessions and she made sure that was the case as well. Ive gotten three tattoos from Amy, and the artwork and experience are always top notch. Her designs always blow out of the water what I had in my own head. Her accuracy is so good that my father, who has dementia, was able to recognize a bridge from Yosemite that she replicated on my shoulder. Cannot recommend her enough (and shes fun to talk with too).

Amy is a true artist. Come to her with a vague idea and she will turn it into a work of art. You can easily see that from her portfolio. What you don’t see from her portfolio is her energy, her kindness and care she puts into each session. Her studio is cozy and colorful; really reflecting her personality. Amy is one of those rare gifted people who make you feel welcome, cared for and heard through the whole tattoo process. There are not enough adjectives in the English language to express how much you need her as your tattoo artist.

I started my tattoo two years ago with just an outline, and finally got the majority of the color in on Monday! I couldn’t be happier with the tattoo. Amy is an amazing person and I look forward to having more tattoos done by her in the future.

If there were 💯 stars, it would be it. First off, Amy is an amazing artist! Shes easy to talk to and is very accommodating. Ive gotten one half sleeves from her and now working on my leg piece. Her studio is inviting, warm, and colorful all at the same time. If you can get on her books, do so... Because this artist here is one of the kind!

This was my first tattoo, so I was told all kinds of stories. Turned out to be the most amazing experience! Amy is extremely hygienic, made me comfortable every step of the way, she is warm and intelligent so conversations flowed easily, and incredibly talented with the needle so it went by quickly. As far as pain, from 1 to 10, lets say period cramps is a 6, Id put this at a 4. A couple weeks out and its healing nicely, bright colors are coming through and I have my sweet boy with me forever . Shes a diamond in human form!

TLDR: Amy is the best tattoo artist I have come across thus far (I have 9 different tattoos from 8 different artists). Her work is perfect and she works very hard to make it so. Her communication is stellar both before and after completing the piece. I HIGHLY recommend!I cannot express how amazing Amy is!! I also found her while browsing Instagram and immediately knew what I wanted to get from her. She communicated with me on multiple platforms and never took more than a day to get back to me. She is very sweet and was very open about pricing and booking availability. I got in quicker than I expected, which rocked. I arrived at the shop early and she was already there. The shop itself is decorated wonderfully and is very inviting. We chatted a bit about the piece and the amount of detail versus the cost before settling on a sketch. After, we played with sizing a little and it was clear that she loved the piece just as much as I did and was willing to do whatever she needed to make it perfect for me. I usually get nervous while being tattooed but conversing with her was easy throughout and she even explained certain processes/techniques when I would ask random questions! The piece is PERFECT and I cannot wait to see what she does with the rest of my arm (I knew I wanted a sleeve before this piece but now I know she is the perfect person to give this real estate to)! I recently got a tattoo by Amy and it was such an amazing experience. She took my idea and made such a wonderful tattoo. She is so sweet and answered all my questions about this tattoo but also my older tattoos and tattooing in general. She explained what she was doing at times and I really appreciated that. And her studio is awesome and nice and clean. I am in love with my tattoo and her care and energy during the whole process. I definitely will be back whenever I have another colorful tattoo idea.

Amy is not only a talented tattoo artist, but also super friendly & considerate lady, try to understand customer’s need & feeling as much as she can. I saw Amy for my first tattoo and the experience was excellent. Her consultation form was thorough and her communication was helpful and friendly. This woman has done all 5 of my tattoos. All are amazing. Good tableside manner too, you wont find a nicer person to needle you for 3 hour increments. Also she did a painting of our pup which made a great wedding gift.

Amy is amazing. She is everything youd want in a good friend, and even more a fantastic artist/tattooist. I currently have one large tattoo from her, and 2 more scheduled. My first time walking in for a consult she immediately put me at ease, immediately made the process clear and easy. I had expressed reservations that I have a nickel allergy and was very nervous of a reaction. She was the only artist I had reached out to, to immediately suggest a nickel allergy test. So I now have a small rainbow tattoo on my ankle to make sure I wouldnt have an issues. The fact she even considered doing that makes me want to stick with her for all my work. I trust her artistic process, and I trust her to understand my vision. If she doesnt, I know she will ask questions until she does. Her work is vibrant and beautiful. My mermaid is currently just over a year but still looks like brand new with gently settled ink.Tl;dr: Amy is amazing. If you like/love her work, you will 1000% love what she does and how she does it. Just do it, and you will not regret it. Im sure glad I got my first tattoo at 30, and will continue to go to her for (hopefully) many more.

I flew 5 hrs to get a tattoo from Amy because her artwork is outstanding. Totally worth it! She helped memorialize my pittie, and help give me closure. Her work was quick and meticulous, and she was kind, and explained everything she was doing. I’ve never had an artist spend so much time making sure everything was exceedingly clean, and that the skin was being cared for appropriately along this process.I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a tattoo!!

Amy’s work have changed my life. The amount of self esteem I have gained since having my watercolor hand tattoo is immeasurable. It makes me feel beautiful... because it is and because it reflects who I am inside too. I also recently had Amy tattoo my feet and I never wear shoes or socks anymore, even though it’s winter in the Midwest. I feel so light and lovely whenever I look down at the art that is my feet.They are perfect.

Amy is an artist above everything. I gave Amy a concept for a piece in memory of my dad. She took it and ran and created something so amazing and unique. She’s also a really fun gal and the time flies by when getting work done by her. It’s been 7ish years since she tattooed me and the colors are still vibrant and beautiful. When I first saw one of Amy’s tattoos ( a portrait of a dog) I immediately knew I HAD to have her tattoo a portrait of one of my dogs on me! I emailed, scheduled and patiently waited! She is incredibly professional, kind, caring and talented. Since then I have 3 other tattoos from her and already planning my next! I cannot tell enough people about her! My first tattoo is over 2 years old and looks fantastic!

Amy is absolutely amazing!!! She was incredibly helpful during the design process when I was just throwing ideas her way and trying to explain an idea that only lived in my head. But she did a beautiful job of making it come to life. The space was always clean and everyone was great about wearing masks too!

It took a couple tries (on my part) to find time to drive the 2.5hrs to Amy and she was very patient with me and im SO GLAD she didn’t give up on me. I finally was able to make it and im so glad i took the time to drive to Amy. She is very nice, the place was clean and bright. I will definitely be going back to Amy for my future tattoos!
