I have been going to Dr. Barad for 10 years, ever since I moved to Pittsburgh. I have had consistent, positive results, so I think I am a lifer! The staff, Mary and Erin are so friendly, helpful and genuinely take an interest in me as a person. It is always a heartwarming experience going into the Aesthetic Skin & Laser Center. I highly recommend them for all youth-enhancing treatments!

Dr. Barad and her staff are not only extremely professional, they are also helpful, kind, and caring. Dr Barad is a miracle worker!! When I had lost all hope after a botched procedure from Med Blessed beauty spa, Dr Barad used her insightful expertise and came up with a strategic plan to get me back to looking normal again. I have full trust and faith in Dr Barad and would recommend her for any cosmetic procedures.

Aesthetic Skin & Laser Center staff is the best! From the time Erin and Mary greet you at the door to when you first consult with Dr. Barad, and then move to treatments with an aesthetician (Lindsay is amazing and so thorough and responsive!), you feel like you are part of the team working collaboratively on the best treatments for you. I highly recommend to people looking for customized treatments!

I never write reviews, but felt compelled to let other people know that Dr Roxana Barad has NO integrity. Who wants to work with a Provider that lies and that you cannot trust?? I went in for a consultation. My only complaint of where I wanted improvement was my marionette lines. She put a TON of filler in my face. My under eyes were so lumpy, with too much product. I got 5 removals (Vitrase) and still had lumps! It was the worst experience!!! (When I went in for the removals she said that I requested optical.... something? Which I never heard of). I said - I most certainly did not. My under eyes and cheekbones - were always good. She lied, she was cold and she was very un-compassionate. I should of known by her other BAD reviews! Listen to me - I do not recommend her! This place is toxic! RUN!!!

I visited to have blackheads extracted and some veins zapped off my nose. They warmed up my skin and used a metal tool for the extraction that looks like it 5 bucks off amazon, which has a high risk of causing damage. I expected them to use an extraction suction tool, not a metal one. Additionally, the veins on my nose returned quickly.

I love coming here for all of my skin care and womans health needs! Everyone is so nice and Ive seen great results from my treatments. I highly recommend Aesthetic Skin & Laser Center 😊

I started laser tattoo removal about a year ago and wow these girls are good. I was terrified of the pain but they made me feel so comfortable. Their laser technology is the newest out there and they give you honest feedback about what to expect.

This place is a scam I paid $2,000 for a keralase treatment that did not work not only did it not grow back any hair at all but the girl that cuts my hair actually said it looked thinner after the 6-month treatment do yourself a favor and buy the hair gel off of Amazon for a fraction of the price dont waste your money here plus no one responded to my issue I was completely ignored

As an aging professional woman & scientist I can say that Dr.Barad MD is very knowledgeable and her work is fantastic! Her staff are truly the best! I love going to my appointments, I love the follow up and continuing care and attention from every one.Hands down, 5 stars !!!

I had the pleasure of having Lindsay today for radio frequency micro-needling session. Lindsay was so knowledgeable about how to correct my skin issues… she went into details about the whole process and made me feel very confident and comfortable(so empathetic and a kind soul)! She did such a great job on my face today that I am writing this so everyone will know! I have been here a few times with the most amazing RESULTS each and everytime. When look in the mirror I can’t believe my eyes…that it’s my reflection looking back at me … I’m sooo very greatful! Everyone here is dedicated and helpful , esp Mary and Erin who are 2 of the coolest, sweetest, nicest, office personnel I have ever met…. Crazy right , who woulda thought I would make good friends while going to have my beauty needs tended too! Lol.. they are always smiling and helpful and really make me feel welcome/comfortable … and let me tell u, the 3 people I mentioned are not just doing their jobs waayyy above average ,they are special people!! I highly recommend coming here for ANY of ur beauty needs(I have come here for a few different reasons and they have solved each and EVERY request that I had when attempting to better my skin/face , shall I say to turn back time 😂. I have been having laser hair removal treatments for close to twenty years. I am so glad that I have found Shana at ASLC. They have a new laser, the Clarity II, which is the best laser for hair removal I have ever experienced. The lasers from even just last year dont compare this new one! Erin and Mary at the front desk are always so kind and helpful. This is a great practice and I am so glad that I started coming here. Thank you!

I just wanted to share my experience for getting a good service in Aesthetc Skin & Laser Center. Its been great every time I have an appointment. The staff (Erin and Mary) are awesome and very accommodating. I am so grateful that I found this place years ago and still faithful to be with them. I did my underarm hair removal with Carissa and now my bikini, she is the coolest and super awesome to be with. I trust her so much that I am encourage to go every appointment I have. I feel so comfortable around the staff that I build trust and having that confident that I will reach my goal for my body because of there help. And of course, Dr. Barad She is amazing and very talented. To be honest I tried other clinic before not to mention any names but I didnt get the results I wanted. I highly recommend Aesthetic Skin & Laser Center.

Thank you for such wonderful service throughout the years.I trust Dr.Barad with my face and eyes explicitly. I had cataract surgery which has been a game changer and professionally done. I have also had skin care treatments from her staff at Aesthetic Skin & Laser. I believe in non-surgical treatments and they have the best choices and equipment and know what they are doing. Doctor Barad is an opthamologist and has the hands of an artist and training of the best. You get a lot of skill in every treatment, she does what most places leave to their staff. Staff is great also and warm and friendly.Very accessible

First off, Mary deserves 5 stars alone for being the best in her position (I believe she is the office manager?). Love her! Secondly, I dont live in Pittsburgh and money fluctuates, so I call to make appointments with very little notice and Mary manages to squeeze me in when it suits my schedule. Thirdly, Julie is an excellent aesthetician and I have experienced about 10 in my lifetime with at least 5 being my regular for a few years. I will be back in April and will be booking! I had a wonderful experience at the Aesthetic Skin and Laser Center. I had slim liposuction on my abdomen and flanks. Dr. Barad did an excellent job and I couldnt be happier with the results. The staff was professional and friendly. Rosemary performed viora skin tightening after my slim liposuction and did an excellent job. She is very knowledgable and personable, I would highly recommend her. This is a great skin and laser center.

Im very happy with the service that I received, from the initial phone call to checking out was a pleasant experience. Dr. Barad is very informative and knowledgeable about the different procedures available and what will work best for your particular needs.Im a first time Botox and filler patient and she made me feel comfortable and at ease prior to and during the procedures. I highly recommend her for your cosmetic needs.

I have been seeing Dr. Barad for a couple years now. I decided to start using her Skin Care Line after my first couple visits. I believe it all starts with good products. The feel of my skin and the appearance I would say is softer with a healthier glow. The whole line is very light on your skin with no heavy smell. I’ve always used good products, and believe me when i say : “There’s a difference with these products”

My skin care experiences at Aesthetic Skin & Laser over the years has certainly been beneficial. I am a big fan of Dr. Barads Illuminated Skincare products. (monthly specials) The girls at the office are always very helpful, getting me answers when in doubt, redeeming available discounts and genuinely kind.

Wanted to get some hair removed. Had various worries because a lot of these places give a predominantly female glorified beauty spa vibe, and I am very much male with very thick, stubborn hair in some undesirable places, so I expected stigma and inadequate tooling. Turns out none of that matters to the laser, nor to the technicians at ASLC. This was all quite straightforward and not even awkward. I felt very welcome the whole time, and the results are looking good so far. The treatment is relatively expensive, but no matter what you are after, theres a $10K ceiling, as they offer an unlimited one-year package.

I have been a client of Shana for many different procedures and I can’t recommend her enough! She is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I also love that they offer many different up to date and state of the art options to help with skin care and rejuvenation!

I had been following several skin centers in Pittsburgh for the past year, and have even had consultations at a few of them. I was quite nervous, as this was my first time with any type of cosmetic procedure, and I wanted to do my research! My consultation with Dr. Barad was the first time I wasn’t feeling nervous. Her facilities are top-notch (and I’ve seen quite a few) and her receptionist is great—she knew exactly who I was and what I was there for (I usually got the, “wait, who? At what time?” So that was much appreciated! Thank you!) I was right on time and so were they—I’ve never been in the waiting room in excess of 3-5 minutes.Dr. Barad’s qualifications speak for themselves and her bedside manner put me at ease—enough so that I was comfortable moving forward with the procedure that day. I’m obviously very happy with the results, and am looking forward to returning for a new skin care regiment. Dr. Barad was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. She was able to identify skin issues that dermatologists couldn’t even answer for me. I want to say thank you to all the ladies at Aesthetic Skin & Laser Center. Initially I was incredibly nervous going in, asking myself every question, and trying to talk myself out of doing it. The technician sat down with me and answered all my questions until I relaxed. We then went into the examination room. In the first session, I did undress with the technician in the room, however, I explained at the next session that I was not comfortable doing that, and from that point forward, a robe would be on the table waiting for me as the technician would leave the room and come back a few minutes later. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable each time I came to my appointment. I am pleased with the results of my sessions and happy that I got over the fear of going. Now I am looking for something else for them to fix!

The staff here are so kind and welcoming, they got to me right on time and my procedure was fast and effective! I was also super impressed with the range of services they offer and how up to date their equipment is. One session with Shana and Im already seeing better results than I did after 10+ sessions at other places. Highly recommended!

After a large weight loss, my eyes looked tired and aged. Dr. Barad preformed a lower eyelid lift, and I had a few Thermitight eye procedures, with obvious results. Dr. Barad suggests a specific pre-treatment regime to prevent bruising from facial fillers. Although I was nervous, I followed her recommendations precisely. Ive been a patient of Dr. Roxana Barad for more than 10 years. She is intelligent, well-qualified, and exceptionally talented. I both respect and trust Dr Barad. Her insight and judgement are excellent. Plus, shes a practicing ophthalmologist, and eye safety is essential to her.Dr. Barad is polite and professional. She doesnt do much chit chatting in the treatment room. Rather, shes intensely concentrating on your face/skin along with with specialized photos of your face/skin. She reminds me of a professional tennis player going through the mental process of visualizing each step in the serve before executing the game winning ace. And Ive only seen her serve aces. She simply wont do a treatment that would yield an unsuccessful or harmful outcome, no matter how much a patient wants it or would pay for it.Her staff, place, and facilities are all great, great, great. Actually, the staff are super great.

I have been bothered by my acne and facial hair for all of my life. Because I am a physician and leery about aggressive beauty treatments, I have been wearing make up for the last 15 years to hide this problem.After meeting Dr. Barad and talking to her about my problems and discovering all the scientific reasons to do a specific treatment, I knew that I was in good hands. After only 3 laser treatments for acne and 2 for hair removal (that´s all the time I had in Pittsburgh) my skin is much brighter, less greasy and looks so clean that I don´t need make up every day. In addition I am following Dr. Barad´s recommendations for acne patients. I am using Francesca (her own skin care line), clarisonic, and I am following her nutritional and make up recommendations.I know it is a treatment for life, but it is really worth it and I regret that I didn´t do it before. I have had complicated skin for years. Bad acne on my face, back, and chest. After years of different medications and therapies I was left with deep pit scaring and dark skin pigmentation. Thats when I meet Shana, the lead aesthetician at The AsestheticSkin & Laser Center. After telling her what my goals and concerns were, she designed a regimen that made sense; a rotation of chemical peels and laser treatments over 3 months. She also designed a very easy at home routine for me to follow. Shana also introduced me to Dr. Barad when I was ready to tackle my acne scars and contouring with Galderma products, Restylane Refyne and Restylane Defyne.My skin is literally perfect and I’m beyond happy with my results. I think Dr Barad at The Aesthetic Skin and Laser center is so incredibly talented!!!! I have the utmost confidence in her highly skilled Ophthalmic surgical hands, to evaluate your needs and then actualize, without surgery, to promote a continued youthful appearance! She is able to use fillers such as Voluma, and Juvederm, and wrinkle erasers such as Botox to keep you looking young! The Reparative Cellular Stem Cell Serum from Dr. Barad Illuminated Skincare is amazing! My two year old got a little too much sun and I put this on all the pink areas. The next morning the sunburn was gone! Truly amazing product!

Francesca Eye Therapy - Brightening-Hydrating-Firming - is a terrific product. I have searched and searched for an eye cream for the area around my eyes and I finally found it. I learned of Francesca Eye Therapy through my consultation with Dr. Barad, Aesthetic Skin & Laser Center. My experience with Dr. Barad was thorough, sensitive, and very helpful in more ways than I expected. I am 3+ months into using this product and it is my only go to eye product.

The staff is very pleasant and helpful. I feel very comfortable at their office. I’m getting Acleara treatments which have helped my acne significantly, I just had my first IPL treatment. Would highly recommend their facility.

They’re good on chemical peel, i had some done made my face better except under my eye but it just need time to heal I was rushing it a little bit. And their products work well on my skin.

This whole office is fantastic! Beginning with scheduling with Linda - who is excellent with the ultimate can do/will do gusto - especially when it comes to coordinating Dr. Barads busy schedule with the limitations in mine. That is the most important first step.Then with Dr. Barad - who has a great eye and manifests her artistry beyond expectations. I have been doing Botox since 1997 and lip fillers for 8 years. Recently expanding filler to other facial creases - and - Dr. Barad has given me the most natural and pretty appearance than I have had - really before.For example, with this last time I had my lips done (Juvederm - I battle upper lip wrinkles from previous smoking) she placed a bit (2 areas) vertically in my upper lip extending from the upper lip points: I had never had this done before (or even knew about it) and must admit, the initial swelling had me a bit scared.......but just a few 3-4 days later, when the swelling and small bruising had resolved, I could not believe how pretty and natural my mouth looked. I tend to go ducky with upper lip injections since I lack upper lip kissable lip surface, but that little trick she did really really gave me more lip surface without sticking out (ducky). All these years I just thought I had to be ducky to battle those wrinkles - and I was so wrong.Also, my new thing is IPL. After sun worshipping, surfing, etc for all of my life, I really had a lot of sun spots. Also, I was a picker. With every sunspot or healed boo boo, I had hyperpigmentation. IPL is wonderful for not only zapping those, but also diminishing broken/enlarged/superficial capillaries - which make my face red in all of the wrong places. IPL (they have a new machine) is great for both of those in one swoop. And Jennifer - who performs the procedure - is absolutely fantastic: fun, smart, explains all, answers all of my crazy questions, and just loves what she does - and really makes the experience something to look forward to - I mean it, and so now I have to end this review to get in my car and drive 4 hours from my home in central PA to make it to my 1:00 appt! I used to live in PIttsburgh, and now that I have moved, I still wont go anywhere else.

The staff who greet you (Mary & Erin) could not be nicer and more accommodating. The aestheticians are very skilled and listen to what you want and don’t want (I’ve only been with Carissa but I’m sure both are great). All around a really positive experience at ASLC!

Every person I met was super sweet and great. Shana was my technician and she is the best! Great place, great staff, wonderful service and ladies, it does not cost as much as you think!

I was willing to drive two hours to this location for a procedure that is not done in my area. I called the office twice to ask a few questions in hopes of setting up an appointment. Both times I was told that they would call me right back, but I never got a phone call both times. I waited for three days and nothing.

I have been very pleased with the results from the services and treatments I have used! Dr. Barad and her team are patient in answer questions and customizing their services to address your concerns and needs!

This is by far the best skin care products I have ever used. I turned fifty this year and my skin feels and looks better than it has since I was in my 20s.
