Lee was extremely professional throughout our entire appointment. They walked me through the entire process and made sure to spend extra time making sure the piercing I got match on both sides. They then talked me through after care and gave me a few suggestions on other piercing I had. Would very highly recommend coming and seeing Lee even if just as a consultation, they also have amazing jewelry pieces if you are just looking to change out existing piercings.

Ashley is amazing! I originally came to them for a curation & piercing appointment a few months ago. I have had four piercings by Ashley thus far & we have had detailed consult about my goals. She is great at understanding my style, even when I have trouble verbalizing my preferences. They choose beautiful placements that complement individual anatomy. I am super excited to continue working with Ashley to get the beautifully adorned ears I want. (I initially had two lone piercings & minor scars from two old failed piercings)ALSO! When I had a very unfortunate run in with a pillow case and ripped out my 10wk old high lobe piercing, Ashley was so accessible & responsive even though this happened at midnight. Not only was she able to help me feel calm but also provided multiple options & ultimately was able to help me save my piercing. You can see the trauma caused a slight shift in placement but it is healing up great since then with Ashley’s help.

I has the most lovely experience with Ashley this past week! The only ear piercings i have are lobe, so in branching out i decided to first go for the daith and with my tiny ears and prominent rook anatomy i know that wasn’t an easy job. They made sure i was comfortable and relatively pain free the whole time while they persevered and got that sh*t in there. absolutely gorgeous range of jewelry to choose from and my friend was allowed to accompany me back!

Love my piercings so much! Plan on getting more from them. They are very careful and keep everything extremely sterile and safe. Pain was at a minimum. Lots of information provided for aftercare. Shop has a good vibe

They are so passionate in their work and so informative throughout the whole process - answering any questions, explaining every step, and helping you work through any problems during the healing process. Ive been going to Ashley for almost two years now, and she has done such a great job with all my piercings and also helped me work through issues I had from a previous piercing. Everything in her studio and all the jewelry/tools are very well sanitized and they take their time making sure placement is perfect! Went to get a piercing from Ashley a few months back and it was literally the easiest most comfortable experience I’ve ever had being pierced! I have HORRIBLE anxiety about needles and literally had to lay down to get my ears done ! However Ashley went out of their way to talk to me and explain EVERYTHING to make sure I was comfortable! I didn’t feel judged and I could tell they truly care about her clients! I also loved how enthusiastic they are about piercing and coming up with cool and unique placements and combinations of jewelry ! The jewelry and customer service is beyond any I’ve ever experienced and would 10/10 recommend! Also if your nice they’ll probably show you pictures of their adorable dogs !!!

Ashley has provided the best piercing experiences I’ve ever had. Not only are they sweet and make sure that you are comfortable through the entire experience but she is also incredibly professional and takes their work very seriously. I’ve gone to her twice - once for a forward helix and once for a nostril piercing. The forward helix healed so nicely and we put a cute little gold dagger in it that they custom ordered me. The nostril piercing was to match an existing one (done years ago by someone else) on the other nostril. Ashley really took her time with this one to make sure that it was be as symmetrical as possible on a nose that was very not symmetrical. The healing process for this one also went super well considering the last nose piercing (NOT BY ASHLEY) I got was a nightmare to heal. I recommend Ashley to anyone I know looking to get pierced. They also have a beautiful collection of quality jewelry!

Ive gotten several piercings from Ashley over the past few years, and they are by far my most easily healed and aesthetically pleasing piercings. Their attention to detail is impeccable, and she keeps her shop spotless. They are comforting when youre stressing about how painful it will be, and go over the process step by step. She even counts down from three for me, because my anxiety is so bad I need that preparation. She didnt even question it when I asked them to do so.I honestly wont let anyone else pierce me anymore, neither will my partner. I’m not a big piercing person, but went in for a double nostril and was blown away by the experience I had with Ashley. They were so sweet and really went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable, talk me through the process and provided very thorough cleaning instructions and information on the healing process. I cannot wait to come in for a jewelry change. If I ever decided to get another piercing, I would 20/10 see Ashley again

An awesome piercer! Super sweet and there was not a moment where I would feel uncomfortable, Ashley was absolutely amazing. It was rather scary, looking for someone to pierce my nops, but I am glad that I went to them, couldnt have chosen better! I was a bit worried about possible issues, especially since Im from Europe, but they were absolutely lovely and didnt see that as an issue.Fingers crossed my piercings will heal well, theyre doing amazing so far!❤️-Natalie!

I had a great experience with Ashley. She took my ID and we did paperwork. Her work space was pristine clean and so cute! She walked me through everything and followed all proper hygiene procedures. Her communication was excellent and she checked on me throughout the entire process. She uses high quality jewelry and has aftercare products available on site. I can’t recommend her enough! Updating to say my nostril healed so perfectly; it was placed correctly, where I wanted and is so cute. She practices safe Covid protocols as well. Can’t wait to go back.

I am so impressed with Ash and their little piercing studio. They were kind, patient, and empathetic throughout the process. They helped me special order a piece and then fixed another piece that had fallen out. I ended up getting a new piercing which is awesome and they made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I definitely plan to go back and add to my ears and Im so glad RVA has this gem now!

I cant recommend Ash enough!!! They made my piercing experience so calming. I had traumatic experiences with other piercers, and Ash not only respected my feelings, but went above and beyond to make sure it was a positive experience in the long run. My only wish is I had met them sooner. They have been the best for jewelry changes, piercing placements, and helped me pick places to avoid more keloids. 100 stars if I could!!

I mailed my entire titanium setup to Ashley to be freshened up and reanodized to my favorite bronzey-brown color, and they did a FANTASTIC job. I also ordered some new synthetic opal threaded ends through them, which were the correct size I needed with no ordering/sizing problems. I really appreciate how communicative they were about what step in the process they were at, and that everything was mailed back super safely and promptly. I will absolutely be coming to Ash & Yew again :)
