Tattoo experience was amazing and legit. Came in with a design that was very detailed and complex but it wasn’t a problem for my guy. He truly cares to make your tattoo look as good as possible and in another way is your ride or die for some tattoos. Great vibes, clean area, entertainment, provided water, clean bathroom, respectful, and so many more things. He will get you through your tattoo if you can just give him the effort enough to simply just sit through it. He’s been doing this for multiple years so this is nothing new for him, whatever piece you bring in he’s gonna make it even look better then the original photo. I will definitely be coming back in the future to get more tattoos and I would 101% recommend coming here if you want people to look at your tattoo and say “wow, this looks insanely good”.

I wish i could give 10 stars ⭐️ but 5 will do. First the communication from the consulate all the way up til appointment day was immaculate. Shop is clean and the vibe makes you feel like your at home. Really made me feel comfortable from start to finish of this 5hr session (i don’t do tap outs). But my personal favorite is that he specializes in tattooing dark skin. Definitely will be back to fix and some other tattoos so everything can match this greatness. I came here because my boyfriend got an amazing tattoo from him. I had been searching for awhile to find someone to do my thigh piece and Eric did an AMAZING job. I’m in love with my tattoo and everyone has been complimenting it. He only focuses on you and he doesn’t rush. He really takes his time. I have been getting tattoos by Eric for a long time because of his awesome art work and patience. I had to be one of the first people to get work done at his new shop and I wasn’t disappointed. Everything was spotless and the atmosphere was great. I felt very comfortable getting my art done there, the tattoo came out amazing and was reasonably priced. I got a coverup tattoo by this establishment last year I followed the artist instructions step by step during the healing process. As a diabetic, I takes my skin a while to fully heal but I also noticed during the healing process that my coverup wasn’t covered very well and it started to reappear and become even more noticeable. I didn’t know what to do at that point so I kept that tattoo covered. I became devastated and wanted to get the entire sleeve removed by laser removal. I also talked to other ar to see if there could be something else done to fix it and was told by them I should contact Captured Moments. I sent a (dm) to Captured Moments and tried to explain to the owner what’s going on with the tattoo. The owner replied “Are you talking about a tattoo that was done 18 months ago”. It was not done 18 months ago but also close to it. I did not want to get anything done for nothing I just wanted a appointment and get a quote on what it will be to fix the work. I didn’t mind paying to fix the problem due to the age of the tattoo. I contacted this shop again days later and still haven’t gotten a response back yet. I didn’t want to leave a bad review, but when it comes to customer service and my hard earned money, I would like to at least get a response. He should’ve just told me the truth that he was unable to do the coverup and I would’ve been fine with that. I could never patronize this establishment again.This is definitely a lesson learned for me. In this photo you can definitely see that this tattoo healed properly because it’s very smooth but the old tattoo is reappearing. The sad thing is that this tattoo supposed to be dedicated to my mother that passed away in 2020 so this is hard for me.

As a nurse in the operating room, a cleaned and organized environment is very important to me. Captured Moment Tattoos was that and then some. All expiration dates were shown to me, and any time Eric had to take a pause and step away or any time he touched anything unrelated to me or the instruments he used, he thoroughly washed his hands and changed his gloves. Not only did I feel good knowing my tattoo was going to be awesome;I also knew that I was going to have a healthy tattoo,which made the experience more comfortable.

They are awesome! Most tattoo places arent as personable. Randomly decided to get a tattoo while in Richmond and chose here because of the reviews. I do not regret it. Said to stop by on the website. We stopped waited outside the door for 15 minutes which had a sign that said make an appointment. We had tried to make an appointment but there is no phone to the place so how can I make an appointment. He yelled through the door read the sign and make and appointment. I yelled back how do I make an appointment never got an answer. So we just left.If there is no phone number to call and you have stop by on your website then it should be okay to stop by and make an appointment.No I don’t use social media so that is not an option.Felt like I wasted my time. He could have business cards or a phone number to call on the door.

Very unprofessional and can’t believe to see nothing but positive reviews which was what made us decide to come in and check it out which turned out to be the worst decision. The guy was judgemental when discussing the tattoo my husband was interested in and acted like we couldn’t pay for the work. Matter fact we went elsewhere and spent more money than what was quoted from this shop. I’m so glad we didn’t settle and went elsewhere. This shop don’t even deserve one star but that’s the only way I could express such horrible customer service we received.
