Heartfelt Tattoo

Heartfelt Tattoo is truly an experience in itself for a sensi friendly space that is open to all guests. The shop is located on Hull St by the library/shop area.Upon entering the staff are welcoming and the vibe is chill while artists see working on their designs and supporting one another through their designs.They have a small lounge space to the immediate right with ear plugs for those that may have ambient noise issues. The artist will walk you through the forms process and will discuss your design with you.I worked with Jensen and they were very warm spirited and made sure the placement of my design felt in alignment with my other ink designs. They made sure I felt comfortable and ensured that ample breaks were given when needed.They were a joy to work with and checked in on me serval days after. They gave me a mini zine that discussed tattoo aftercare.The team here is supportive of one another and check in in one another and make sure that you feel at home. Ill definitely be returning for my next pieces and cant wait to get my next piece.

Update:Got another tattoo from Wednesday!So excited about my tattoo artists new place! Not only does she take time with placement she also makes sure you are comfortable. Her shop offers snacks for those of us who need a sugar boost. Im really looking forward to my next tattoo in this peaceful environment she has created. Stay tuned for more photos.

I highly recommend Heartfelt Tattoo shop! Wednesday has given me many beautiful tattoos, she’s so talented. She always checks in with me to see if I need a break or a juice, if I’m comfortable. It’s a nice cozy atmosphere with squishmallows to cuddle and tv to watch:)

Such a great and welcoming studio! I went the other week with my brother and my partner to get some tattoos, all 3 artists were so nice and accommodating, offering breaks + snacks. Not to mention the pieces we got were beautifully done and healing great! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a chill, fun tattoo experience :)

Heartfelt tattoo is great! It was very clean, professional, & the atmosphere was very welcoming. The artists were also very personable & accommodating, even offering us juice or water while we waited for our sessions. My sisters & I each got tattoos by Jensen, Aiyana, & Sean specifically. Each of our artists worked with us on the designs making sure to get the style, sizing, & placement just right without any rush or complaint... even if it took a couple tries. My sisters each got their tattoos in more private areas & both Jesen & Aiyana were quick to immediately offer privacy screens for their sessions. Each artist completed our tattoos in what felt like no time at all & made sure to educate us on after care as well, offering their contact information/socials in case we had any follow-up questions or issues. They also took both cash & card payments which made things super convenient.Going to tattoo shops can be a bit nerve wracking & intimidating, but everyone at Heartfelt made us feel confident & comfortable throughout our entire experience. I definitely plan on going back in the near future!

Absolutely fantastic staff and environment; They are so welcoming and supportive of each other as well!The studio has a little lobby area to fill out paperwork / wait / drink a juicebox! Their space is more open design than I am generally used to [vs. individual rooms] but honestly, the way I was able to watch the TV while getting tattooed AND have the other artists come over to check-in was very nice. They were also working on some of their flash designs for Friday the 13th and VA Pridefest weekend [100% coming back for that alone].Jensen was my artist, they were very accommodating when I requested to move the stencil and kept checking to make sure I was okay when they were actually tattooing. Love my lil rat guys with all my heart!

Aiyana was a joy to work with! They did a great job with adding some extras to my tattoo along with offering a different color option. They were super friendly and did a great job on my spider! The studio is peaceful and relatively quiet which is nice. Love all the plants and Squishmallows on the couch c: I felt very welcomed here will definitely be returning! Wednesday- great job on opening up your shop and creating such a calming atmosphere, Aiyana- keep being a rockstar with your artwork!

Had the pleasure of getting a tattoo from guest artist Finn (@torturextomb) at Heartfelt Tattoo, and it was such a great time. It’s a calming environment and everyone was very nice. I’d love to visit again, even with the hour and a half drive!

Had a great experience at Heartfelt Tattoo! The artists there are very kind and explain everything very well. The space is bright and comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely recommend to anyone but especially queer and neurodivergent people! Incredibly safe and welcoming environment. Not overwhelming! Wednesday is the kindest soul and does incredible art. I so very much recommend her! Go get a tough tattyyyy!!!!
