Amazing shop with talented and very personable artists. Immediately felt comfortable and at ease. My artist was Hannah and she was such a doll! Explained everything, answered a million questions, offered breaks, and seriously was amazing to talk to. The shop is clean, cute, and comfortable. The other artists I met were all incredibly nice and fun to chat with. We talked up front about pricing, style, etc. and went in knowing how much I wanted to spend. Paid the deposit and scheduled everything with ease! I am super happy with the work. It is still healing but I am posting a current picture and will update with it in a few weeks after it is more healed.

I had my septum done by Mikhayla and it was a wonderful experience! She was super sweet, explained everything she was doing and answered my questions. It was my first piercing so I was really nervous, but she made me feel so comfortable and it was over before I knew it! Not painful at all! I highly recommend 😊

Had an excellent visit! Got matching tattoos with my best friend and Becca did an incredible job at making sure we were happy and comfortable with the process. She helped refine our design idea and the work was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend!

Hannah even gave one of my 10year tattoos a facelift and made me love it again (shell photo!)Everyone is so friendly, something I havent experienced in many other tattoo shops. My husband also got his first tattoo by Andrea and it was beautiful! Ive always been able to get appointments via messages. I would recommend this shop to anyone! Im so so SO happy with my choice to go here. Not only was it a cute and quaint environment, but all staff was so friendly. I feel bad that I didnt catch my piercers name- but she did a WONDERFUL job. I went in for a tongue piercing and she was so knowledgeable and did the piercing so swiftly I barely felt it. And for only $40 no less!! I have hypoglycemia and felt very nauseous after the piercing, and she let me lay down and even got me a cold towel. Please, please, PLEASE go here. I will be coming back.

Mikhayla pierced my septum today and Im in love! She has such a light hand that I BARLEY even felt it! Okay, so, this was the most awkward experience Ive had in a long time, lol. I had an idea for my first tattoo and called earlier in the week to check availability and get a quote. I briefly described what I wanted (two small butterflies behind my ear), and they told me they had availability on Saturday. So... Saturday morning, my roommate and I come down and arrive ~10 minutes early. Were told the artist will be there soon, so no big deal, we took a seat in the corner. No one really spoke to us after that. It was weird. Anyway, artist finally shows up about 15 minutes late, says hi to us, then goes into another room for several minutes. When he came back, he showed me the completely wrong design and was like This is what you wanted, right? I laughed it off and reminded him that I was the one who wanted the butterflies. He again went to the back to sketch some butterflies - and they were really cute! However, they were too big for what I was needing. At this point, the artist had not even asked my name, any questions about the specifics of the tattoo, what exactly I was wanting, why I was getting it, etc. Nothing. I wanted a memorial tattoo to honor my late boyfriend, so this was going to be very special to me. I showed him a reference photo of another girls tattoo that I found on Pinterest. After that we were not consulted at all before we were told that we were ready to come back. I guess that hed decided they were small enough without asking me first, lol. I saw the sketch and told him that the butterflies were still too big for what I was wanting. He told me that he couldnt go any smaller and there wasnt enough space to do what I wanted. Which is fair; I get that all artists are different and its fine that he didnt feel comfortable going any smaller. But man, if hed actually spoken to us and got more information from me instead of making us wait over half an hour, we all could have saved some time. Needless to say, I left without getting a tattoo. Lol. No one was outright rude, it all just seemed very unprofessional and the communication was almost nonexistent. I thought maybe it was just me, but my roommate (who tagged along and who has several tattoos) agreed that it was a very bad experience. I wouldnt recommend if youre particularly anxious or if youre not down with just getting whatever they feel is convenient, lmao.

Ive been going to this shop for years and I would never go anywhere else. Every artist here is professional, kind, and immensely talented.

I love this place! Andrea has given me three of my most recent and favorite tattoos ever..and I’m going back for my forth tattoo in a couple days. She can’t get rid of me! :) I’ve had the best experience at Wildwood Flower. The shop is super laid back and the artists are diverse and super supportive of each other’s work. I’ve been here a couple of times before, and this is by far the best parlor I have ever been to! This location is very LGBT+ friendly, which gives the atmosphere of the place a comfortable experience. When you fill out the paperwork before your piercing/tattoo, it even asks for your pronouns and preferred name. I absolutely love that so much! So far, I’ve only been to this parlor for piercings. I scheduled an appointment, and I went in yesterday to get the angel fangs piercing. Mikhayla is LITERALLY THE BEST! If you want someone that will actually take the time and precision to make sure your piercings aren’t crooked, and that they are 100% symmetrical, come to her without a doubt! She is also very easy to talk to, which makes the experience that much better and more relaxing. One thing that Mikhayla did that no other piercers I have ever been to in the past did was schedule me for an appointment to downsize my jewelry in a month. She truly cares about her customers and getting them taken care of! Whenever I’m feeling the desire to get another piercing or my first tattoo, I’m most definitely making this place my primary parlor for my needs! All of the staff are very friendly and so sweet! Thank you all for serving me and being the best! :)

Andrea did my grandmother’s handwriting along with her birth flower, she did amazing! My wait was longer than expected but she apologized and was just great about it!

I couldnt recommend this place and their staff enough. My husband and I have been tattooed by Hannah, and our son has been tattooed by Smokey. I have had the pleasure of interacting with multiple members of the staff, and can say wholeheartedly that they are all friendly and always want to provide the best product. I am constantly complimented on the beautiful pieces Hannah has done for me, and have even had people recognize her work out in public.

Ive had 2 tattoos done by Devyn since the end of September, and both are amazing! Devyn listened to what I wanted, was able to get me in early for one, and worked with me to ensure my ideas came out beautifully! Will definitely be back, as everyone was so welcoming and professional. (The triquetra was done by another artist, but all three flow perfectly thanks to Devyn!)

I love everything about this shop and the staff that works there. They are very considerate in the time, work, and effort they put into each session. They have created such a safe and inviting space that is welcoming to each and every person that enters. I have gotten most of my tattoos here and I cant wait to get more. They are VERY responsive on their social medias and their communication over all. Every time I have reached out I have gotten a response in a very timely manner. I recommend them every chance I get and love seeing all of the new projects they take on via their social media accounts

Mar (now of the new Lexington location) did the most amazing job on my daughter’s first piece! They took my daughter’s ideas and created a stunning design which Mar was happy to tweak until it was just right, and they were both kind and patient with a tattoo newbie. I couldn’t have asked for a better gift for my daughter, and Mar not only made my daughter’s dream come to life, but they also made loyal customers of both my daughter and me! Devyn is the artist that was referred to me. They have a great personality and I love the atmosphere. My tattoo was badass!! It’s just what I asked for and the price was less than what we spoke about. They do a wide variety of tattoos. Go check them out. You won’t be disappointed

I got two thigh tattoos at once from Hannah last week. Everyone in the shop is so kind and respectful. The space is clean and comfortable, they can play music for you and have multiple fans to stay cool. I will definitely be returning for much of my future work and cannot recommend enough booking an appointment with anyone at the shop. Easily the best in Richmond and my favorite in Kentucky.

I have not one, but FOUR tattoos so far from Wildwood Flower Tattoo and I plan on getting many more. All four of my tattoos were very different, but personal to me and I love the detail of every single one. I would HIGHLY recommend going to this establishment for your tattoos.

The shop was easy to find with lots of parking. The decor sets the tone and lets people know that everyone is welcome. Definitely not a shop you feel intimidated or nervous to walk in.Hannah was so great and friendly. She did an AMAZING JOB. I just sent her ideas and explained what I was wanting and she took it and ran with it. I drove 2 hours from Cinci to get an original piece of Star Trek art from her and it was worth it!!Everyone in the shop seemed like they really had a passion for what they did and had a good rapport with each other & customers.

I have had great experiences at Wildwood with both tattoos and piercings! Andrea and the staff create such a safe and welcoming environment while producing unique, quality work. She worked quickly, was extremely professional and kind, and in the end - I have a piece of work I am so proud to show off!Luke with piercing is also an absolute saint. I’ve had many piercings throughout my life and feel like the experience I had here was the most comforting and informative. Luke walked me through my piercing while also being kind and gentle.It would be hard to go anywhere else now that I know how wonderful this shop is.

Ive been getting tattooed by Andrea for years, I have nothing but wonderful things to say. Ive never been disappointed in a single piece, and she always works hard to make my visions a reality! Hannah is fantastic as well and has done the highest quality of work on me, too! I wouldnt trust anyone else to continue taking my business to, I always feel comfortable and welcome and extremely happy with every piece.

Andrea did an amazing job on the three tattoos I’ve gotten from there. The shop was cozy, and I was happy I got to listen to Taylor Swift instead of the typical rock/punk music you get at most shops. I’ll certainly be traveling back to this shop from Knoxville, TN to get more work done.

They took me straight in as a walked in. Mihkayla was a great piercer. Very clean and professional.Also ive got plenty of piercing before and they way she pierces it didnt hurt and swelling wasnt bad like normal places. She didnt use a clamp which is why it was it was a great experienceWonderful environment. I will definitely be back!

They wouldn’t pierce me without a notary (even though i had a legal guardian and my ID) which is understandable seeing as i am underage, but they swore like sailors, played music loud as can be with many swear words, we waited for a while and nobody else was in there (there was one other girl getting a piercing) and THEN they decided to give us the waiver, and then, and only then, did they decide to tell us that they didn’t take card. the business itself was okay, they seemed friendly and all, just not very professional

Andrea did a great job on my tattoo. She did exactly what I wanted based on the drawing I brought. She even had a few suggestions for some subtle changes that made a big difference. I walked away very happy with the size and placement of my tattoo and with everything about how it was drawn. The fine line work on the word is gorgeous, and the flower is beautiful. Definitely recommend!!

My sister & I wanted matching tattoos for our mental health disorder. Our artist, Smokey, done an absolutely fantastic job!! So clean & very professional. However, they do no take debit cards and we ask him how much for BOTH before going to the atm. When we finished the price was double what he told us it would be. We had to frantically comb through various account to pay for him. This was a very poor communication situation. But my sister was very clear & he knew we didn’t have cash. It was quit disappointing. I have nearly 30 tattoos and this is not my biggest one by no means & cost far more than anyone has ever charged. Still highly recommended.

I booked my appointment in person on 5/4 with Andrea. We talked in detail of what I wanted. They saw and quoted me for $500, said it could be done in one session, and I quickly paid my deposit and emailed them my inspiration picture. It was of a Greek goddess, which was I accidentally got the wrong name for, unbeknownst to me. During the three months I waited for my appointment, I emailed them twice regarding the tattoo and never was informed that they were confused at which goddess I meant and how it related to the tattoo. After three months, I show up to my appointment and learn that instead of asking me, Andrea decided to go a completely different direction with the tattoo. The tattoo I wanted consisted of three versions of the goddess, the moon above the goddesses, and a crescent moon below with raven skulls hanging off the crescent. The outline I was initially presented with was just the outline of 1 singular goddess… none of the other things and was told because I got the goddess’s name wrong, a completely different direction was taken. I asked them to stick with my original idea. They said okay, and asked me to go find something to do. So I did and came back… and waited 2.5 hours of my 5 hour appointment without being tattooed. Around the 2 hour mark, I was informed that only linework would be done instead of the tattoo I booked. At 2.5 hours, the design still was not done. I didn’t feel that all the linework would be completed in 2 hours, so I decided I would look elsewhere. I kindly thanked Andrea for working on a design for me and offered to compensate them for their time, but was met with an attitude and that “these things take time”. I was always taught to pay an artist for their work even if they don’t do it on you, so I was taken back. I wanted to pay them for their work they did, not buy the design, but that’s how they took my offer and promptly said the deposit would suffice. Andrea did end up messaging me and apologized, which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of one. Overall a disheartening experience. I feel like I wasted three months. I was so excited to get work done by an inclusive shop, but I won’t be recommending the shop to anyone else.

This is literally the CUTEST and homiest shop ive ever seen, They have the most adorable decorations inside very cozy , staff was super sweet and i LOVE my piercing from here , ive had all my friends and family reccomend this shop aswell if you want to get a tattoo or piercing in richmond this is the place 100%

As pictured below, the tattoo was nothing like I wanted. We had also discussed doing more of a new school style as seen in the 3rd picture which clearly didn’t happen either. Setting aside it wasn’t what I asked for, I don’t like the face or body, and even just the position of her is awkward. I am very disappointed and don’t think there’s any way to even have this fixed. Hannah acted like it was a problem to even add the second arm, as she had only one in her sketch originally. Artists were more concerned with “pranking ” and “messing with” one another than with their work and their clients. Shop owner is also super unprofessional.

Andrea is amazing. She is super sweet, honest, understanding, clean and dependable. She never makes you feel uncomfortable or out of place. Her line work and designs are top notch!

Mikhayla is an absolute gem, I have gotten a few piercings done by her now and each time I feel so comfortable and welcome.
