Got my ears repierced and another second added to the lobe! Danny was very helpful and kind. He moved the mark on my second piercing like four times per my request :))) He counted down to the piercing, little to no pain, flat back earrings, clean, great price, and super fast! Will definitely be coming back for more and will be recommending to friends!! :)))

I was worried moving to MD i’d have trouble finding a new tattoo artist. Randomly stumbled upon this shop and fell in love with the quiet atmosphere. Monica is not only a WONDERFUL artist, but she is a genuine and sweet person. She does not tax on tattoos like the horror stories i’ve heard from people who ventured out to DC to get tattoos . Prices are affordable and the work is worth every penny. Look forward to continue getting tats from here.

Monica is the BEST! Her art is absolutely gorgeous and detailed. I love every single tattoo she has done for me and I know I can trust her to do a flawless job every time. She is now my go to tattoo artist and I highly recommend her.

Im from Germany and was a bit worried about finding a trustworthy piercing store. But I am in love with my navel piercing. It stung very well and Monica also helped me with the care afterwards. I have also recommended it to friends :)

I got my belly button pierced here last week. the piercer did not explain much before or while it happened, but i took it in stride. the piercer gave me a standard piece of jewelry to change into in case the original piece was too short. that was a red flag to me, as i’ve always had piercers tell me to come back for them to do any unhealed jewelry changes. a day into having the piercing, i was experiencing more tightness and pain than felt normal, so i went to another piercer (different shop) to get their opinion on the piercing a couple days later. i was told it was done too long and with improper (“novelty”) jewelry, and that i would not be able to use standard jewelry if i let it heal. he took it out for me, and i returned to queen’s gambit to talk to someone about it. a different person was present when i went and she was kind of rude from the get-go. i told her about the piercing and asked if i could get a refund. she told me they don’t do refunds but she could redo it for me despite my having took it out myself, without trying to clarify anything about the situation or find out what happened. i left feeling the problem was not properly resolved as, even if they don’t do refunds, i feel she should have been more inquisitive about what went wrong with the piercing, given it was problematic due to no fault of mine.

Wonderful experience! My 11 year old had her ears pierced here. They explained everything and kept her really calm. When my daughter messed with her earring too much and it fell out, they took care of her right away and were so kind about it. 100% recommend!!

TLDR: mistakes happened, management’s response was appreciatedA friend and I went in to get pierced and just made an appointment when it was available. We got Danny. He made some mistakes on a few of our piercings and was not communicating what was happening as clearly as we would have liked. The other piercings that he didn’t have issues with were fantastic. In the end our piercings turned out fine, it just was not a great experience overall. Whether it was the day or how busy the store was, or who knows what other factors - mistakes do happen and I hope they will continue to improve.The prices were reasonable, everything was sterile, and when I complained Monica was very helpful in listening to my comments and concerns and responding to them. Overall it seems like a good and reputable establishment, especially with many positive reviews, we just did not have a good experience.

Monica did my anhk tattoo and I love it! Shes very nice, and she made me feel comfortable. I have an upcoming appointment with her in a few months. Im so glad I found a very talentedartist with a great personality 🙂.

Run by one of the most talented artists in the area. Staff and other artists are helpful, friendly, but most importantly good at what they do. Dont personally know anyone whos had a bad experience.

It was my first time getting a nose pierce and I came so unprepared with my information but the person at the front desk was so nice and understanding. I was pierced by Danny and he was very helpful and kind and offered different options of where I want the piercing. Definitely coming back here for more! ❤️

Two months ago I went in for my very first tattoo, super nervous, and Monica gave me the best experience I could have asked for. She was quick and efficient while maintaining high quality linework, and everything healed up nicely without issues. Im very satisfied with how it turned out and once Ive got another design in mind, Im definitely going back for my second!

I recently got a helix (cartilage) ear piercing and had a great experience! I liked being able to book online, and the shop offers a wide variety of jewelry options. The shop itself was a bit hard to find but very spacious and clean - good vibes. My piercing was with Monica and I highly recommend booking with her if you can!! She double checked the placement with me beforehand and went over different sizing options. I have had a few piercings before but this time I almost passed out afterwards. Monica was so calm and kind - I didn’t feel embarrassed or rushed out, and it made the experience much better. So far, my piercing is healing nicely!

Great service and amazing prices. As someone who works in the tattoo/piercing industry, this place is such a hidden gem!! My friend and I came in to get our cartilage, bridge, nose, and a dermal piercing, and Monica helped us out with quick but sterile and professional service. The piercings didn’t hurt at all. I’d give y’all ten stars if i could. I spoke to a sweetheart on Instagram named Monica, she was so helpful and sweet. I’m unsure if she was also the receptionist but the receptionist was wonderful! I got pierced by Danny, he joked with me and listened to me. i got the cutest little septum ring too! i really loved the aesthetics of the shop and it has an inviting atmosphere. I will recommend Danny to my friends and family and hope to run into the receptionist again.Danny feels very reliable and I do trust the staff after my first experience! i attached the pic of my face lol since i did not think to take photos of the shop jajaja

I’m happy with how it came out. Waiting for it to fully heal so I can go back and get it touched up. 4/5 because the artist could’ve done better when it came to attention to detail. Other than that, great place to get a new tattoo or piercing done.

I have gotten 11 piercings from Jake (including my nipples) and the service is absolutely phenomenal. He is very patient, professional, and knowledgeable. Everybody there is always willing to help you in any way if you run in to any problems after your piercing. I’ve had two of my piercings fall out and I went back in and they put them back in free of charge. I also had one of my forward helixes switched out for a longer post because it was starting to embed and they helped me with that too. They have excellent customer service and genuinely care about you, I couldn’t recommend them more. Make sure to tip them because good service should be recognized. Also their prices are very reasonable compared to other places in the area. I will definitely be going back to get my jewelry switched out and possibly for some tattoos. Overall great place to get your body artwork done, clean facilities, great environment, knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices, and wonderful customer service—honestly what more could you ask for.

I took advantage of the walk in days for piercings and the guy struggled with getting jewelry through my nose when changing out my piercing that Ive have for almost a year now and was too rough with it. Now I have a swollen nose around my piercing site that everyone can see. Wish he were more gentle, calm, and patient. Unfortunately, I did not get his name.

I am not one to leave reviews EVER but Monica was the absolute best and she deserves it! I’ve been looking for an artist that can do fine line designs, and her work blew me out of the park. I’ve never been more happy w how a tattoo has come out before. I know my tattoos are small (honestly even more impressive to me to pull that off), but even her larger pieces of work show for themselves. She is truly amazing and great to work with. I’m definitely getting all my future pieces done here (I already scheduled another appointment).

I was tattooed by robin, they covered up some scars that I had over a pre-existing tattoo. The work was phenomenal and it was more than I could have asked for. The covering was very important to me and they were very nice, considerate and informative on what was going on. 10/10

I got my nose pierced here. The piercer was very efficient. She marked a spot on my nose, confirmed that it looked okay before piercing. She had me take a couple deep breaths and pierced on my out-breath. The whole thing took less than five minutes. The price is about as much as anywhere else, $50 for the piercing and I upgraded to titanium jewellery for another $15.The place was a little hard to find though. The door is between two other businesses, and stairs going down bring you to the shop.I had made an appointment before I came in. I also called ahead to say I was running late, and then ended up spending a little more time looking for the exact location. Nevertheless, I’m grateful they accommodated me despite the delay.

I worked with Monica and she was great 😊 It was my first tattoo so I was so nervous, but she was so chill and made me feel more at ease. The tattoo went by so quick and it looks perfect!

Just got my septum pierced by Jake yesterday. Im so happy with the result!!! The shop is very clean with a great atmosphere. Jake was very patient and gentle with me since this was my first piercing. He was clear and really knowledgeable with the aftercare instructions, and just generally very calming. Will definitely be coming back for more piercings and maybe some tattoos! Highly recommend both the shop and Jake!

Got a septum piercing at the start of the year, and i was extremely nervous about it. The piercer was so welcoming and answers any and all questions. The process went by so quickly and it healed without an issue! Absolutely recommend this place it was fantastic!

I got my half-sleeve done here by Monica. She was super nice and as excited about my piece as I am. It was great to have my artist be so invested and excited about my tattoo, and her designs are amazing! I am so beyond happy with the results and couldnt recommend her enough!!

Spontaneously decided to get a nose stud. Was very pleased at the wide selection of jewelry to choose from. Monica pierced my nose and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve always been a little self-conscious at the shape of my nose, since it’s flatter and wider. Monica got the placement absolutely perfect!! I’ve never loved my nose more.

Robin is totally amazing! They were super dedicated to getting the stencil placement just right for my tattoo and finished the delicate lines so cleanly and quickly! Also just the vibe is right with this place, everyone who works here is really nice! A great place to get any new stuff or your first ink if youre thinking about it.

I got my back dermal’s done by another piercer which healed crooked causing the ball of the piercing to fall out. I called this shop asking if they could help and they gladly welcomed me in and fixed me up! Jake and Monica were both very helpful and didn’t give up on me even though my piercing was being difficult. I wish I knew about this shop sooner!

I got my daughters industrial piercing. The place was very clean, excellent staff. Answered all my question even after we left.

While I was traveling I had a jewelry mishap. When I called queens gambit for help they told me to come on in and theyd have a look. Monica was so kind and fixed my earing for me without hesitation! Im so grateful I was able to get the help I needed when I was somewhere unfamiliar.

I came here to get my eyebrow pierced and the piercer did a really good job. she was very nice and it did not take long. i only had to wait about 5 minutes for them to get everything ready. loved this place and ii would defenitly come here again for another piercing.

Jake pierced the side of my nose back in April and Im very pleased with the results. Ive already had issues with piercing it previously and it not healing correctly so Im happy to say its healed up great!
