Great place! A little bit of a wait time but I didn’t have an appointment so that was to be expected. Everyone is very knowledgeable and the piercing went well! Jamie was quick, friendly, and helpful! Will be back for the next piercing!

My daughter wanted a piercing for her birthday, and she picked Fraidy Cats over all the other options. Jamie and the staff were absolutely amazing. They were great at walking my daughter through the whole process, made her comfortable, and empowered her through the experience. The shop is calming, decorated in retro-pop girl-power decor, and is LGTBQIA+ welcoming and supportive. Well absolutely come here again!

Jamie is so unbelievably amazing. She is kind, knowledgeable and truly cares about her clients. My daughter said she wants a piercing soon too and she will only be seeing Jamie. I trust her completely to take care of me and anyone I love.

I recently got my eyebrow pierced here, the studio is cool and cozy in a peaceful, endearing, little part of town. The staff are so kind and friendly, I really felt cared for and safe. The piercing went perfect and is healing well. Theyre very clean and considerate. I have disabilities and felt completely respectfully welcome. Highly recommend!

I went to Fraidy Cats for a jewelry change and piercing. Jaime is an expert; she explained everything throughout my appointment and was incredibly kind. The entire staff was wonderful and knowledgeable . It was easy to make an online appointment but they also take walk-ins. There is plenty of street parking. Overall, I had a great experience and will be back!!

Jamie is very knowledgeable and takes time to go though exactly what needs to be done for after care so I felt confident in doing the after care even though its been 20 years since my last piercing and 40 since I had my ears pierced (after care has changed a lot). Jamie was professional and knowledgeable as well as very human and kind. She helped me select the jewelry size that would work best with my piercing (a nostril stud - I had been imagining that I might have wanted a larger piece but I decided to trust her judgment and was not disappointed) and expertly positioned the piercing on my nose. She performed the piercing and jewelry placement itself quickly and with minimal pain (I’ve gotten this piercing done before so I know the jewelry placement in particular can be a little fiddlier). She also explained the aftercare with more detail and care than I’ve seen before. She was so welcoming during the process it made the experience a very positive one. Also, her jewelry selection is very high quality. I got an opal nose stud and you could tell they were quality, real stones both by eye (I’d been looking for an opal nose stud for quite some time) and by the fact that not all the stones in one size category are the exact same size. Highly recommend this place.

OK, I never leave reviews unless I am above and beyond impressed or seriously disappointed. For Fraidy Cats, I can not say enough good things about this business and Jamie. She is a very professional practitioner and she is amazing! My daughter and I both wanted to get piercings and I wanted to make sure we went to someone who really knew what they were doing. Not a place that the cashier slips out from the counter and does it occasionally. I read the reviews on google for Fraidy Cats and our experienced lived up to all the hype. We walked in and the place was clean, organized and well taken care of. Jamie introduced herself and walked us through the process, aftercare and jewelry. My daughter had really wanted this piercing but had some anxiety going into it. Jamie put her at ease and explained every step along the way. Jamie spent a significant time just ensuring that the placement of the piercings were marked as perfectly as possible and when the time came to actually pierce my daughter, my daughter hadnt even realized that Jamie actually performed the piercing and was done. Jamie was so sweet and caring and took good care of us. I have gotten so many compliments on my piercing and If anyone asks me about it, I always encourage them to go see Jamie. I just wished I knew about Jamie and Fraidy Cats sooner.

After seeing on her website that she had walk-in availability (she provides regular updates on her homepage), I arrived at Fraidy Cats and was able to get one of the walk-in appointments for a double earlobe piercing. Jamie was extremely thorough with aftercare instructions before the piercing. She has a very light touch and both ears were finished with minimal discomfort. Came here for the first time today for advice about healing piercings I had done at other shops and Jamie was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful, even though the piercings were done elsewhere she still put in the time and effort to try and help me. She recommended a couple different products and explained every single one, instead of just trying to sell me things to get money. I’ve been to 4 other shops in the area over the past couple of years and no one was as thoughtful and genuinely caring as her!! I will definitely be coming back here for my next piercing.

I had a great experience here. The shop was very informative of aftercare as well as jewelry. They were clean and made sure to follow guidelines. The piercer made sure we were as comfortable as we could be during our experience. They are very knowledgeable about what they do. I would return again if I decide to get more piercings.

Best ear piercing service ever received. Jamie, the owner was very professional, courteous and extremely patient throughout the entire process. She made me feel comfortable, and she showed me that she really cared about the pre and post piercing and the healing process. She even let me know that I can come in anytime if I have issues with my piercing or email her for anything. Just came out of a wonderful experience at Fraidy Cats. Walk in around 6:30 pm on a Friday night (when she closes at 7). Greeted with an open, friendly smile instantly putting me at ease. I’m a 40 something white lady with only my ears pierced and there was literally zero skepticism or judgement from owner, Jamie. Did I have to wait a while? Sure, but also I literally walked in 1/2 hour before she was supposed to close. She could easily have told me to come back but she stayed and fit me in.The shop is super cute, clean, bright with interesting art mixed with black cat themed decor.The process was thoughtful and thorough and Jamie’s bedside manner was comforting. She clearly knows what she is doing and loves it!!I walked out feeling like a badass with my new nose piercing and, even better, equipped with the knowledge of what to expect next and who to turn to if I have questions.

I LOVED my experience here. My two friends and I got our nipples pierced. 2 of us are not new to piercings, and one had only had her ears. Jaimee was so sweet, thorough, and completely calmed all of our nerves. We went one at a time and then joined for our last friend to add some extra support. The pain will be different for everyone, but she will make it lowest possible for you. In my experience, I would literally rate it 1 or 2/ 10. It was over before I even knew it, felt more so of a pressure rather than pain. She was so thorough on the placing so I would know they’re placed right, even, and had me check multiple times for my approval. She also sat down and walked through aftercare and gave us samples of what she recommended plus a free pair of jewelry for piercings we already had as a little gift! I could not be happier, she’s the best piercer I have ever had (9 piercings here), and she is so sweet. Any other piercing I get will be with her. Trust all the good reviews, she’s got a gift for her passion and it shows through her work!

Super friendly and knowledgeable! Small jewelry selection but when my spouse wanted a different style of one of their pieces they special ordered it for us! Appointments can be a bit of a wait depending on the day, but theres plenty of seating!

I went to this piercing shop after my sister had her eyebrow piercing done here a few days prior. I went in with very little knowledge surrounding the steps to take after getting a nose piercing and walked out feeling like a professional after talking with Jamie! She made me feel extremely comfortable in her shop and made sure that I was ready for the commitment I was making. The piercing process was quick and very easy and Jamie’s placement was spot on!! The front desk person seriously asked us to wait whilehe was talking to clients. Almost 15 minutes later, he says “sorry we’re fully booked for today” and kept telling me that they have to work late to complete those appointments like i asked. They claim to have walk ins only on Saturday. Seriously could’ve told us that when we walked in..

She also is never judgmental: she offers her opinion on placement/jewelry/whatever, but is totally open to your ideas if they’re different without seeming condescending. I waited about a month before reviewing.I went in for a re piercing. She did such a wonderful job, I mean a super great job!! I havent had any issues at all, the piercing is phenomenal. I would highly recommend her. Shes very comforting and explains things great. Pricing is also really good.

Ive been going to Fraidy Cats for a couple of years now. Ive recommended all of my friends who want to get piercings done to go to J.Me, shes nice, funny, and has a good sense of humor. I love coming to Fraidy cats because I feel like Im in good hands every time. J.Me has done multiple piercings on me and I feel safe and comfortable with her doing them. I dont go to anybody else but her. The shop is clean, open, and friendly. It doesnt have the creepy vibe you sometimes get when you go to other piercings shops. Fraidy Cats is very welcoming and know what they are doing 100% of the time. Future piercings of mine will be done by J.Me :)

Ive come here multiple times and have had good experiences. Ear lobe piercings, eyebrow, and tongue piercings have all healed well and look good. Her aftercare instructions are thorough. There may be a bit of a wait, but I am happy with my piercings.

I went here years ago to get my tongue pierced. I love it so much so I went back to get my septum done about a year ago and went again to get my nipples done the other day. I will continue going here for every piercing and will recommend her as well. She is so kind and will talk you through every thing to help your piercing be safe and well healed. I love every piercing that I have gotten from her and her confidence helped me be confident when I was nervous. Honestly wish I could rate her 10/5. I love this shop

A couple days ago I had gotten my lip pierced. I was nervous of course, but Jamie and Tom were so funny that all the nerves went away. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Very clean, fun atmosphere and they were very detailed with every step and even sat down with me for the aftercare instructions!

I had my nose pierced years ago and had to let it go.It was time to go a new. So I explained my previous piercing and plans.She laid out for me all options (steel vs titanium) and the benefits and drawbacks of bothShe was fair and honest and helped me make the right choiceFurther the information for after care was superior. The shop was clean and the privacy available was on point. (Previous piercing was a chair in the middle if the shop.A lot of prep, a lot of conversation, and great after care information. This was an excellent experience- and I fully intend to make the drive from Rochester for future piercing.

So incredibly kind and caring! My teenage daughter had two previous (mall) pierceing experiences that ended in terrible infections and lopsided holes. I went in to get a consult if my earlobes could be re-pierced. I had them pierced when I was a child but they closed when I took the earrings out for chemistry lab in college. She was so knowledgeable and professional I immediately felt at ease in her office. I didnt need to re-pierce my ears at all! She was able to show me that my holes had just shrunk. She fitted me with new stud earrings in no time flat! I highly recommend her services. The pricing is fair and she offers a variety of different piercings (studs,hoops, rings, etc.) to chose from in different cost categories.

I love love love this place. I got my first piercing (other than earlobes) here and Ive fell in love. I will come back for everything from jewelry to another piercing. I literally refer her to anyone who will listen.The outside is a little intimidating but as soon as you walk in, it changes to a welcoming place. The piercings are affordable and shes ridiculously clean. I spent about $100 including my nose piercing, and all the after care products. I like her so much that I ended up giving her a $10 tip because honestly she fully deserved it.

I have gone here for my lobes, industrial, and eyebrow. J-me, the owner, and Tom who man the front; are both super exceptional. Marie also works the front desk on days that Tom is not in, and she is super sweet. Their front desk service alone makes it worth it to stop in. I got my nostril pierced with a ring (last week) but she was nice enough to show me the issues that people would have with a ring but she said she wouldnt stop me. I went to the back to get it pierced, it didnt hurt really and she was really careful. Once it was done, after readjusting it because she was a perfectionist haha but she gave me all after care and other things I can for it. I took a lot of care for it and have no keloid so far, shes super helpful and Ill be going there soon for a septum!

I went in yesterday to get an industrial and a navel piercing and Jamie and the guy working behind the desk were both very nice and knowledgeable. I had to wait for about an hour to actually get pierced because it was very busy, but I didnt mind! I highly recommend this piercing place.
