7th Street Tattoo

My husband and I were walking by 7th St Tattoo when I had the idea to fill in some space on my right arm with traditional stars and dots; I thought how cool it would be to do so in random cities as we travel, so we popped in.The place had a chill vibe, we were greeted promptly and before long, I was in a clean chair (the place is super clean) with John (John is super cool) at the ready!The whole experience was delightful and I highly recommend.I’ll be back for more than stars next time!

Shannon is the absolute best. She did such a good job on my tattoos. Im going to her from now on. The shop and everyone is so welcoming and nice.Follow up Ive since gotten two more tattoos from Shannon and they are all fantastic. She just did a Medusa as Rosie The Riveter on my right. Im creating a sleeve on both arms. And with this tattoo it ties the first three tattoos she did for me together. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Bleach exceeded my expectations both with a beautiful, detailed, meaningful tattoo and his kindness and support before/during/after! I can not wait to return and get more work from this amazingly talented artist, and I cant thank him enough 💕 100% recommend him! The shop was nice, clean, friendly, and easy to get to/ park at even though it was street parking.

My friend and I got our first tattoos here because it was recommended to us and the place truly did not disappoint. John worked with both of us and was very considerate, helpful, and clean. Always checked in with us of how we were doing while tattooing us. I love my design and definitely recommend this place to others and will get more from here!EDIT 11/15: I came back to 7th street with the same friend for our second tattoos over the weekend! I got butterflies. This time, Gary worked with us and was very kind, gentle, and precise. Definitely my go-to place for tattoos now! Nice staff and fair prices

Sent an email about possibly making an appointment, they responded right away. I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly. The shop is super clean, and everyone was really nice. When I came in Kelli, had already drawn up my designs and made the changes I asked her to make with no problem. I got 2 tattoos done, and it did not take very long. Kelli did an amazing job, and I will definitely be going to see her again!

Jes is incredibly talented. Both my husband and I received our first tattoos with her. If we decide to get more, she will be our first call.

Gary has done 3 tattoos on me now and he is the nicest most laid back guy ever! his work is very amazing aswell and just does a great job with making sure the client is satisfied and doing okay during the whole tattoo procedure. he’s a big friendly teddy bear and i HIGHLY recommend checking him out!

Shannon is the best. Shes the only artist Ill go to now. Shes done 4 for me now (2 tiny, 1small, 1 medium reworking) and I keep coming back. Shes super nice and an amazing artist. Always listens to you. Prices are reasonable for the experience she has. I get so many compliments on her tattoos. I cant recommend her enough.

Gary is AMAZING. He is a pretend-grumpy-curmudgeon who is actually a beautiful teddy bear, and I can’t wait to see him again in five days. He designed a beautiful tattoo for me and also fixed two older tattoos of mine. He will now be my go-to. I’m very grateful I found him!

If you go here, DO NOT see Gary. I haven’t had any experiences with other artists here, but I’m blown away at how bad the tattoo I got was. I have multiple hand tattoos and was looking to get a simple cross on one of my fingers. During my consult Gary continuously tried to make me change my mind about what I wanted to do and made me very uncomfortable. I should have just left then, but I stayed because I figured it would be very difficult to screw up tattooing two straight lines. Gary managed to screw it up… badly. Luckily I have a coworker who is engaged to a very talented artist who is graciously helping me fix this (it already looks significantly better after one session) but this was beyond embarrassing and I can’t believe he let me walk out with this. Gary spent a total of maybe 30 seconds on the whole tattoo, didn’t go over his lines at all, and blew it out because he wasn’t able to change pressure properly for a finger tattoo. He wrapped it up right away without letting me really look at it. I called to see what my options were when I saw how bad it was and whoever I spoke to was very kind. They said that all their work is guaranteed so I could come back and get it fixed even by another artist, but my trust for the entire shop was gone after my experience. I have many tattoos and I’ve had some bad ones, but this one takes the cake. Use extreme caution if you come here for your next tattoo.

I just left the shop after getting my first two tattoos and I had a great experience!!!! I walked in hoping for a quick consultation, and ended up coming back in later in the day and getting two exceptionally well done tattoos. John was my artist and he was so friendly and talented. He even stayed almost an hour after close to finish my tattoo. Highly recommend John (or anyone for that matter). I will definitely be back!

My daughter called & Gary did our matching tattoos in less than 2 hours from the call. He is an awesome artist professional, friendly, fun and experienced. His prices are wonderful too. I highly recomend Gary Gaulke to do tattoos. The shop is so unique and clean & the other tattoo artist that was there was super friendly too.

I had a tattoo done by Jers and he was awesome to work with! He got me in very last minute but was kind, professional, calm, and informative. One of the nicest and best tattoo artist I’ve met. Extremely reasonable pricing and a whole good vibe from the studio. Will definitely return and I highly recommend him and 7th Street Tattoo. :)

Jesse is the man but Ive brought friends and seen the work other artists have done on them and its all phenomenal. Clean, professional, welcoming environment. Exceptional service. I went into 7th street tattoo for a walk and was not disappointed. I had a reference picture that I wanted changed slightly. Gary drew it up for me and it was perfect. Everyone there was incredibly kind. It was a very welcoming environment. I am so happy with how my tattoo turned out. Pricing was incredibly fair for the work I got done. Took forever to greet us and acted like they were so busy with walk ins but as soon as someone else walked in they were quick to greet and act friendly. Charged me 150$ for a quick 15 min tattoo. While the girl before me got two tattoos for 150$ My friend saw my tattoo artist cough and answer the phone with his gloves on and came back to work on me. Also he wasn’t gentle it was a wrist tattoo and it hurt more than my other ones. Jesse.

Great staff ! Accomodated my friend and I this evening as walk ins and did it with a smile and great attitude . Our tattoo artist Dusty was friendly and did not make this relative (one other ) tattoo newbie feel intimidated. Great atmosphere and friendly talented staff equals a win for me. Very happy with the final results ! Would definitely recommend to friends and will definitely check them out in the future too.

I emailed 7th Street Tattoo the morning I wanted to get a tattoo, and everyone I communicated so well to make that happen! The space was clean, and very artfully decorated, and my artist, John, was amazing. He worked with me on the placement, and continued to ask if I was comfortable, checking several times to see what I thought of the progress. I will for sure be back, thank you so much John, and everyone at 7th Street!

Sam is amazing! I went in wanting to add to a flower I got on my shoulder from my honeymoon. She was able to create the most beautifully colored piece that goes from my elbow, wraps around my shoulder and ends at my mid back. With doing this not only did she encompass my shoulder tattoo she was able to make it all look like one piece. Every time I show off my tattoo I get a compliment on it!

Ive gotten a fair majority of tattoos here and Ive never been disappointed. Jers has been tattooing my husband and I going on 3-4years. Im a huge wimp and Jers is ALWAYS very accommodating and patient with me lol and with every tattoo idea I bring him, he is able to make it come to life better than I imagine.

When I came in the woman at the counter greeted me and set up the conversation like she wanted to listen to me. Well I started to tell her what I was interested in doing and she cut me off after 5 words just rudely tell me she can’t talk to me right now and just to email them. She also looked very annoyed right off the bat. If she wasn’t looking to do an consult she should of opened with that. Wasn’t a very welcoming experience. I was looking forward to finding a new studio after my artist moved an hour away and I’m new to the neighborhood. Very discouraging.

Favorite tattoo shop!! Shannon is the best ever!! The aesthetic of the place is gorgeous, and it just all around has good vibes 10/10 would reccomend 😊

From there she mindfully created with her artistic insight, tattoos that captured the heart of what I hoped for... Please do not get tatted here!! The artist ( i did not get his name, short lil white dude) was incredibly short with me and did not listen to what I wanted for my tattoo. He got mad?? when I asked for something a little different than what he had drawn and replied snottily “now I have to redraw the whole thing” rolled his eyes, and yanked away the drawing. reminiscent of the 11 year old I baby sit. very unprofessional. I should have walked out at this point and regret that I didn’t as he messed up my tattoo!!! he put a line in the wrong place! i did not notice till after I had left the studio. so now where there should be a line there isn’t, but where there shouldn’t be a line there is. I now have a marking that will be on my body the rest of my life that will remind me of his complete incompetence. please, do not get tattooed at 7th street tattoo as my body is permanently mammed from this sassy little white guy. 0 stars. please look elsewhere

Such a wonderful place! Very safe and clean and Gary was a real cool guy. This was my first tattoo and it was a great experience.

My experience overall has always been phenomenal at 7th street tattoo and Sam has done an impressive job on my tattoos. Love the staff and the place is awesome with the high ceilings. Definitely will be going back soon.

I emailed them about a week ago asking to set up an appointment for me and my sister. They replied asking what we are looking for. I emailed them back showing pictures and details. And gave the date we were interested in. We were even open to all artist since they all have great work. Never heard back. So will be taking our business else where.

Tattoo for me and the wife today by Sam. She did an amazing job. Was great to work with. Already have plans to go back. The place is really nice. Large space high ceilings. Nice people. 👍👍

I would never come here. 1 star is the lowest I could give it but I would give it a zero , very rude, very unprofessional and in full honesty disrespectful, I would never go here take your business to Grand Avenue Tattoo where they are so inviting and respectful and actually want to know you and work with you

These guys are great. The shop is clean and the artists know what they are doing. If you are getting your first or fiftieth, you should feel comfortable and welcome at 7th St.

I live behind the shop. Called one day for an appt. Said they were booked solid for weeks. Tried to get me in two months later. I said pass. Went around to the front of the bldg. And shot the crap with the artists for 6 hours. No clients. I asked if I could get a quick tattoo. Artist said no cuz chair was scheduled. Open all day, no client.

I recommend Jesse for line work!! Hes amazing! Whole place is super chill, but very professional. Establishment is clean and employees are fun to be around!
