Absolutely love the staff, they are all polite and kind, they are very good at answering any questions!Katie was an absolute gem through my piercing! We had an unexpected issue where I had some swelling, Katie did absolutely amazing in handling it and making sure I was okay, in the end we agreed it would be best to let it heal some and come back a week late! The second attempt was flawless and I couldnt be happier with the compassion and understanding of Katie!I will definitely book with her again!

Went here on a whim to get a tat that Ive been wanting for a few years now. The staff was great! Kris, my tattoo artist, was very patient and helpful when I was figuring out placement after finding that my original place wouldnt work (due to size). Post Tat - Kris made sure I remembered all the necessary upkeep and such and made sure that I knew if there were any issues to come back and he would touch it up at no cost.The cost was very reasonable too. This is my 7th tattoo, and my first one at Rose. I would absolutely go back there and have Kris tattoo me again!They are kind, patient, reasonable, clean, talented - and if you are looking for a positive experience, go here!

Getting tattooed here was the best tattoo experience Ive ever had! The front desk was extremely welcoming and professional and easy to work with and the artist Josh Edwards was amazing. His work is beautiful and he just made the whole experience aqesome overall. Im coming back here for every tattoo I get from now on!

Awesome shop! Took both Daughters there today for ear piercings. Ryan was great! Explained every step. Took extra time with my oldest daughter perfectly lining up where her 2nd earrings would be placed. We were very happy with his professionalism. Everyone there that we spoke to were very pleasant. We will definitely be going back.

Katie is my absolute go-to piercer. I have 14 piercings and Katie is hands down the best piercer I have ever visited. Her punctuality, care, and creativity make piercings an enjoyable and comfortable experience. After meeting her, there is no one else I’d trust to pierce me.

Katie did a wonderful job with my Helix piercing and my daughters Lobe piercings. She explained the process and made sure we were comfortable before proceeding. We highly recommend Katie!

I loved the ease of setting up my piercing appt online. Ryan is an absolute professional. The piercing went very well, after care well explained and now 4 days later it continues to feel great, healing well, far less painful than I had anticipated! Highly recommend!

I have 5 tattoos from Rose, and have had roughly 7 piercings, but haven’t been back for a tattoo in years. Never really had an issue with piercings tbh, especially in recent years staff have been very professional and knowledgeable. Tattoos on the other hand, not so much. The energy for tattoo artists is hyper-masculine, and I personally have never seen any women tattooing here. I believe this is for a reason. I’m my experiences here, artists have not been particularly collaborative either, and not in a way where they are explaining how poorly something may fade or poor placement or whatever, I totally expect them to consult on that sort of thing as normal. It’s more that their translation of creative ideas doesn’t shine through like it does at other shops. At rose, I pretty much know what I am going to walk out with. Whereas now that I’ve been to several other artists, I realize how “wowed” you can be when you are willing to pay a little more to work with someone else. If you want to be wowed, I recommend going to someone who will be curious about the art you like and invested in your piece as art.

Tattoo artist was great. Walk in service was an ease. I do think their prices are high for the city. I will recommend but probably won’t be back personally for the prices!

Love this place, all the artists are very professional and kind. I see Miles here but every time I’m in (over 40 hours on my leg piece so far) I hear the other artists talking to clients, and as a woman I really appreciate how they are with other clients, both male and female. I’ve been to other shops where the artists act stuck up like they can’t be bothered with peoples ideas and aren’t very friendly during the process. Point being, I think anyone here would be a great choice for tattoos as far as a service provider goes. The work by miles I’ve gotten has always been top notch and you get what you pay for folks, so if you can go somewhere else that’s cheaper, remember that. Experience costs money. You won’t regret it!

They did my 68yo Grandmother’s first tattoo! Very professional and made her feel very comfy, I was very pleased!

This place is very cool looking on the inside. Only down side is that they only do traditional style tattoos. The lady at the front desk was very helpful though as we chatted about the tattoos I wanted and she was very upfront about me looking somewhere else for the style I wanted.

Ive been to this shop twice, once for a tattoo by Miss Kitty and then for two lobe piercings from Hannah. The service and care here is excellent and everyone is welcoming and attentive to your needs. When booking my appointment I was asked for my pronouns. Beyond that, I always have a great conversation and feel rapport with the artists!They dont mess around with safety and keeping things clean.Masks are still required, even when vaccinated. Masks are available for purchase of you forget to bring one.

From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable and welcomed, everyone was kind and friendly. My appointment was with Ryan and he was very knowledgeable and professional. He talked me through everything thoroughly and I left feeling very happy with my experience. I plan on returning for any future piercings!

Girlfriend and I came in and had Miles and Matt as our artists. Both were very professional and friendly. Would recommend!

Marx is amazing! He has done 2 of my tattoos and going back for more! The shop is clean, sanitize, very put together and organized. Everyone is so friendly and nice. Their prices are fair, some artists go by hours, and some artists go by pieces. I definitely recommend them if you want to find an artist for the long-term!!

I went for a piercing. Katie was very informative and easy to talked to. Walked me through the whole process. Price was slightly higher than expected. But worth it. As it was clean, Proper jewelry, and quality of costumer service that is hard to find in many shops like this. I would recommend a piercing here, 100%.

My piercing never healed and were uneven. They dont respond to emails or calls. I would never recommend this place.

Cant say enough good things. I had a friend of mine recommend this place to me years ago from Kyle doing a ton of work for my friend. Fast forward to this year, I wanted a darker traditional koi piece and was referred to Miles. Miles was very professional, communicative, and kept you in the loop with what was happening and answered any questions I had. It came out better than Id hoped! I have many other pieces from different artists, and glad to have finally, years later, went in on my friends recommendation. Also shout out to Red (I hope I have your name right! So sorry if not!) The wonderful person working the front desk. Kind, professional, and super helpful. I will absolutely be back!

I took my 10 year old here to have her lobes pierced. The customer service was excellent and it was a great experience. Based on our time there today, Id definitely recommend Rose of No Mans land for peircings.

I made an appointment online with Katie for a vertical labret. She was very nice & fast. She told me everything that she was going to do and what to expect. My wife was able to come back with me. Ive had several piercings done, by a few different people. Katie is my favorite out of all of them.The person at the front desk was nice too and helped me pick out my jewelry.

They wanted me to pay $600-$700 for a mandala that took 2 hours and one session. luckily for me i got it for half the price and i do love the tattoo i just think the quote for it was outrageous. if you want a tattoo go to Marx

The crew there is phenomenal. I did the Get What You Get tattoo from their machine and was satisfied with what I received. My artist, Brittany, talked to me until the very end of the session which helped distract me from the pain. Awesome place. Would go there again

It is slightly more than other shops, as other reviews stated. IMO its worth it! They actually take walk ins and can get you scheduled within a decent amount of time for larger work. Other shops book out 6 plus months. I love my tattoo. Everyone was super friendly and cool to work with...and the shop was very clean. I will definitely return.

I have nothing to say but good things about this place. My grandparents and I have a song that we listened to all the time when I was growing up. They wrote down our favorite lyric from it and I went in for a walk-in appt to get it tattooed. They were super friendly and fast. I got in and out in like 20 minutes. I had miles and he was amazing!! He did amazing work was super friendly, and he was nice to talk to. Overall, great experience and recommend the shop to anyone that wants a tattoo or piercing.

I received two lobe piercings from Katie today and it was an EXCELLENT experience! Katie was friendly, explained everything before she did something, and pierced my ears safely and quickly. I wasnt nervous or anything, but she still put me at ease as a customer.

I got my vertical lebret done her and when I went back to change my bar she told me it was fine, I am now experiencing rejection because of the bar being to long..

I was able to do a walk in appointment - blonde receptionist at the front desk (believe her name was Kayla) was super helpful and friendly! Kyle did a small tattoo for me and I was in and out within a half hour. Super friendly, professional and made me feel comfortable the entire visit. I’ve gotten 2 piercings now from Katie, nostril and septum, and she is the reason I continue to keep coming back to the shop. I was super nervous for both of these, but she made me feel so comfortable. She explained how she was going to do everything, and she was patient and kind. THAT IS HOW IT’S DONE! I recommend everyone visit Katie for your piercings needs. She’s a pleasure to work with! Remember to tip your piercers and tattoo artists! Got my eyebrow pierced here, my first ever facial piercing. I was nervous but my piercer made me feel incredibly comfortable and he was very experienced. Took a few seconds and it hardly even pinched. Wonderful experience.

Got my nose pierced here years ago, wanted a new piercing so I came back here and both times were amazing and done by Ryan, he is A+++ at his job, recommend going here!

I have been to Rose of No Mans Land twice now. Keep in mind that I live over an hour away from where the shop is located. The first time I went was about a year ago to get my nostril pierced. Ryan pierced me and was so efficient about everything they/he was doing. A year later (today) after searching around closer to me, I found no place to compare or even come close to the greatness of Rose of No Mans Land. Katie did my eyebrow today. Katie was so wonderful at explaining everything they/she was doing They/she always kept me aware of what was happening and explained everything thoroughly. Not to mention the immense amount of comfortability I had with Katie and in the shop. Their process is so efficient, while purposely catering to my needs. I never felt rushed in anyway to make a decision. Katie drew where the piercing would go and reassured me that she/they would continue drawing and erasing until it was satisfied to my liking. All the employees are so incredibly sweet and you can tell they have a genuine passion for what they do. The pricing for piercings is such a great deal as well. I will always choose Rose of No Mans Land and you should too.

Justin is one of my favorite artists, he has done so many amazing tattoos on me. Most of them win tons of awards all over the country at big tattoo conventions!

Ryan was so helpful and informative! I had gotten my helix pierced elsewhere and it hadn’t healed in over a year. I went in to get it taken out. He was able to see that it was pierced at a wrong angle and most likely contributing to the irritation. He took out my earring and gave me care instructions to help it heal again. If I decide to re-pierce it, I’m definitely going back to him!!

Got a beautiful tattoo, exactly what I wanted. The artist was very professional and checked in with me often to make sure I was doing ok. They do not do watercolor tattoos or the sides of fingers. They also won’t do smaller details on fingers. Piercing is by appointment only but they do take tattoo walk-ins depending on size and time.

Miles did a great job with a memorial tattoo for one of my friends. Walked in and was greeted immediately and got talking about what I wanted. 20 minutes later I got the drawing and my artist went to work.I was in and out in about an hour and a half.If I ever decide that I want another tattoo I would 100% come here again. Even if I lived in another state. This tattoo shop is perfect.I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone looking to get a tattoo.

*** save your money, go literally anywhere else ***The “professionalism” of this business is severely LACKING. I was gaslighted, blamed, and antagonized via email by this “business,” where they specifically stated it is not the tattooers or piercers responsibility to serve customers. The only one who took any accountability in our conversation was me where I led with I understood I was 8 minutes late to what I believed was a 30 minute appointment and another client was taken instead. I was told it was my fault for not talking to the staff and told there was a desk person who was “just busy” despite a literal sign on the front desk saying there was no one and you needed to talk to someone else. I had NEVER BEEN HERE so I had absolutely no idea where to go, who to talk to, etc and waited for someone to say hello. No one did, so I left. I asked for a refund for the no-show charge and thus their story went from it was my fault for not talking to anyone to “as you saw, everyone was busy and it’s not our responsibility to greet or help you.” I would’ve taken a reschedule and they could’ve kept the $30 with no argument but blaming the customer for not initiating first and then saying it’s not their job to help or greet them??? Save yourself some money and from utter disrespect and childishness, go literally anywhere else.

I came in for a walk-in tattoo with a loose design in mind. The front desk staff (I am so sorry that I cannot remember her name, because she was phenomenal) was patient with my questions, changes, and finalization of my choice. Miles tattooed my wonderful piece, and it turned out beautifully. He was remarkably thorough, and compassionate to tell me every step of the way what would happen before it happened so I wouldnt be surprised. I love how it turned out, and I cant recommend the experience enough! Thank you so much!

Got my first tattoo here (thank you Britt!) and it was a great experience. All of the employees were super kind and professional, the shop was clean and well lit. Brittany did an amazing job making sure I was comfortable and happy with the design and the placement. It was easy to get an appointment, which was on time and didn’t take long. This is a quality shop in Woodbury. Make sure you are familiar with their style and artwork. Dont expect a cheap tattoo either (quality costs you!). Ive had two tattoos done there and one piercing. Each time my experience was excellent. Ransom has done my tattoos and he has done an amazing job. He takes his work very seriously and is honest with you if he does not think something will look right or work well, which I appreciate. Steve did my piercing (inner conch) and it was a quick and easy experience. It looks very nice and he did a great job. He has a good sense of humor and explained everything he was doing when he was doing the piercing. The staff are friendly and professional, the place is very clean, things are sanitized well, they wear gloves, and equipment is not used more than once. I highly recommend Rose of No Mans Land. Prices are affordable too.

Hannah was fantastic and very professional while doing my piercing! She talked me through the procedure while doing each step, then when the time came for the actual piercing, she told me what to expect! I will for sure be going back for my other piercings! I got two lobe piercings and a cartilage done here a few weeks ago and love them! They look great with no infections 🤞 and the piercer Ryan Malone was super informative, friendly, and calm. A little bit pricey but 100% worth it an absolutely positive experience would definitely recommend.

I got my first tattoo yesterday! Marx Berry put a beautiful monarch butterfly on my foot. Im very happy with how it turned out. The facility is clean and the staff is great to work with. The young woman who works the counter is amazing. I dont know how she keeps everyone straight!

Awesome place to get a tattoo! I wanted a script tattoo and they were more then willing to help me. I figured it was too easy and that it would be boring for them but Austin did a wonderful job. He told me that these are the best to do because there is meaning behind them and he just loves to tattoo. He took his time, had great conversation and felt very comfortable there. Britt was an absolute baller. I got a butterfly tattoo and she absolutely crushed it. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, it made me feel very comfortable and confident to have a tattoo done at this shop. I have had multiple sessions done at both the new location and the old location across the street. Each time has been a very professional experience with quality work. The art that Josh has pulled off for me has been amazing, even when I come to him with an idea that he isnt quite sure on, he can take it and create something we both really like. My wife and I had talked about tattoos but I am just a bit uncomfortable with anything requiring needles. So I went with her to get her tattoo but brought my design “just in case”. They were busy but attended to us and I just sensed it was a good place and I felt comfortable so I jumped onboard. Had to kill a couple of hours before we could get ours done but in that area there is no shortage of things to see or eat. I actually got mine first and Austin was my artist. Great experience and excellent artistry. Never priced things out with others so hard to say whether they were high or low. I only know it seemed reasonable. Still in the healing process (day four) but very happy with the results. My wife’s turned out great as well. We both recommend.

Had another of many tattoos done there, this time by Josh, and love it like I do the rest! I’ve had multiple artists and each time have been beyond thrilled with how they look! Very friendly group who take great care in providing amazing tattoo experiences!

I got my nose pierced by Hannah! I was impressed from the time I arrived. Per the current policies, I had to wait outside until my appt time - no problem. I was greeted and let in right on time! I will recommend this place to everyone I know. They let me walk in to get my industrial piercing replaced because my original piercer couldn’t fit me in. One of the ball pieces had fallen off my less than 2 month old piercing, and they were happy to put in new jewelry for me. The whole process took 10 min total, and it was such a relief! Now I don’t have to worry about the entire piercing falling out or moving around, and I can tell I now have a better quality piece of jewelry in my ear. Many thanks to the staff, I will definitely be back in the future.

A co-worker of mine came here and got a beautiful tattoo so I thought I would try them. I was not disappointed. Very clean shop & from the time I walked in the door the people were very nice & friendly. I got a hummingbird tattoo with flowers from Josh, it turned out better than I imagined it would. Love this place! My husband and I both got our first tattoos here at the same time. We had Austin and Andy for artists and they were both amazing! Loved our experience! The lady at the front dest was very good, she had great advice and was honest and told me exactly what she thought; very grateful for her! 5 star experience from the moment we entered until we left. Reasonably priced, clean and comfortable place. Im already planning my next one!

Booking was easy and everyone was super friendly when we arrived but they are terrible at answering phones and emails. I called left voicemails, and emailed about a piercing. They replied to my email asking for my number but never got a call. My daughter and I both have to take our nose rings out. I have had mine done 3 times before and never had an issue. I find it weird both of us both have problems with the piercing. I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Got my cartilage pierced here yesterday, and it was a great experience! Very friendly and nice workers, and great prices. The guy that actually pierced my ear was very nice and made the whole process easy,quick,and less intimidating . The piercing hurt way less than i expected and it turned out great! I would totally recommend going here if your looking to get a piercing done . Both my dad and I were super happy with the experience and i will definitely be going back!

100% highly recommend!!! We had my 11 year old daughters ears pierced and couldn’t have imagined a better experience. Friendly staff, efficient clean procedure and a calm explanation of what my daughter could expect. We felt that they were very safe covid-wise too, masks required and everything tidy, organized and sanitized. Great experience and also very cute large selection of studs to choose from.

I received my tattoo today as a walk-in, and after having a first tattoo done at another shop, I was thrilled with the experience. The environment here was very laid back, and all the guys who were working were really pleasant. I had to wait a while, but I didnt mind at all because the work my tattoo artist did (Austin) was OUTSTANDING. It was quick, and he helped me customize it to exactly what I had in mind. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. It is way affordable and the whole atmosphere eases any of those nerves you may have about getting a tattoo or a piercing. Did a rework/coverup of a previous tattoo I got elsewhere and Britt killed it. She’s very thorough, communicative, clean, kind, and most importantly, a skilled artist! Love my tattoo and can’t wait to go back and work with her again.

My experience at RONML was excellent. Customer service was helpful and kind despite the changes in place to be safe during COVID-19. I was able to schedule over the phone and be seen for a piercing appointment that same day.Ryan is the person who did my piercing. He was extremely thorough and professional, and took extra time to ensure good placement and explain the process as we went.I felt their pricing is extremely fair for their services and I ended up swapping all my jewelry out during this appointment.Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone planning a piercing!Edit 7/31/2020 I got another nostril piercing here and another piece of jewelry removed and I cant say enough about the quality of this shop and Ryans professionalism. I accidentally stumbled upon this tattoo shop and it was the best mistake of my life! Ive had two tattoos done by Austin Gibson which have both healed perfectly and were drawn up with an amazing artistic eye, his line work is spot on and I can find no faults in either one of my tattoos done by him. I just got tattooed by Josh Edwards last night and it was an amazing experience! The tattoo turned out beautifully and is way better than I ever imagined it to be! I also got my belly button pierced by Ryan Malone about a week and a half ago and it was an amazing experience. He went totally out of his way to get me the jewelry that I wanted, even though it meant extra work for him! All in all, Im so impressed with this shop that Ive been telling everyone about how amazing they all are. The place is clean, everyone is super friendly, theyre extremely professional, and they know what theyre talking about. Ill definitely be coming back!

This place is the best dont even consider going anywhere else! I went here to see Hannah to get my ears pierced (doubles and later helix) and I was super nervous going in because Ive only ever had my ears pierced with a gun. She walked me through the whole process and was amazing! Im a baby when it comes to this stuff but the piercings I got were totally easy and painless.

The girl in the front was super nice and helpful. And josh who did my tattoo was so nice too and did an awesome job!! This is the place to go! Ill be back soon!

I had an appointment set up at 4 and was unable to make it due to unforseen circumstances. Katie was very kind enough to reschedule my appointment and squeeze me in the same the same day. She was very kind and talked through everything she was doing. I will not only be returning myself at some point, but I will be bringing my daughter in as well. The facility was very clean and comfortable.

I got my first tattoo yesterday. My sister has had Kris do both of her tattoos and they are beautiful. My sister and I wanted sister tattoos and decided to have Kris do them. Although the shop was busy, Kris made time for us and was very efficient. We had him change the tattoo three times until it was exactly what we wanted and he didnt have a problem with that. Since it was my first tattoo, he helped me relax and even gave me a test run before he fully started my tattoo. He made the experience very personal and enjoyable! Not only did I have a great experience, but it was very affordable. I would recommend Kris at Rose of No Mans Land to anyone and everyone!

Steve was absolutely fantastic! I didnt catch the names of each person I interacted with but everyone was friendly, I was greeted promptly, the shop looked excellent, I barely waited a few minutes before getting started. Jewelry selection was also good. I am super happy with my piercings and jewelry. Ill definitely be back for some more piercings and to discuss my cover up work on my tattoos.

I had my last tattoo done at Rose of No Man’s Land over 8 years ago. I’ve been thinking about my new one for a couple years and finally knew what I wanted and went in today! Kris drew up exactly what I described. I made a couple changes of course and he happily accommodated. He was so easy to work with and so amazingly talented! The whole experience was nothing short of awesome! The lovely gal who checked us in exhibited such great customer service! I will be requesting Kris for any future tattoos and recommend this place 100%!!

My mom, sister and I stopped in for small tattoos and our experience was great. All staff was patient with our changes and accommodated requests as best as possible. Although our tattoos were very simple (1 word) Josh was spot on with the drawing based on what we had asked for. Overall, it was a really great experience for a couple first time tattoo getters!

My husband and I came in for our first tattoos a couple days ago. We came in the day prior to get an idea of what the shop was like and what we wanted. It was a bit overwhelming stepping into a tattoo shop for the first time but after I had time to think about what I wanted I felt much better going in the next day to get mine done. Kris drew up my design free-hand and did a great job. I am very happy with his work. He talked to me during the process and continually asked how I was doing, as I shared with him this was my first tattoo. I felt very comfortable because he provided a comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely go back again.

I got work done by Andy Hefner yesterday. It was the single best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. The shop is very clean, and all of the staff is very knowledgeable friendly. My tattoo is beautiful. Andy’s skill is undeniable. He was so much fun to work with, I definitely would do it again.

Just turned 18 and was researching different places to get the tattoo Ive been wanting for years. Both of my best friends have gone here to see Marx, so I just thought I would go here too and boy was I glad I did! Everyone is so nice and comforting! I came here to get my nose pierced, and it was my first ever experience in a tattoo parlor. It was fun inside with decor, and the staff was very welcoming. Prices were better than I could have hoped, and the man who did my piercing was very nice and made it very easy and not scary for me. Would 100% go back with any other piercings or tattoos, and would recommend to everyone I know!

I had been thinking about a certain tattoo for a year or two. On a whim decided to get one this past Sunday and looked for a place that took walk-ins. Was able to get in and received very friendly, professional service from the minute I entered the shop till the very end. I am very pleased at how friendly the woman was at the front desk and the tattoo artist, Ransom. He was both friendly and communicated very well with what he was doing. Got a vertical labret piercing done here. The shop is really nice, my piercer Ryan made the process much less stressful and just seemed like a good dude, the front desk person was super sweet, Id be their friend. Also, even though the shop was pretty packed, they got me in and out very fast with no appointment. The prices are a bit higher than others Id called around to, but given the outcome Im not upset about that.

I came In for a walk in tattoo and Kris is the most amazing artist. He did my highland cow, pumpkin and spider. I made him redo the stencils a million times and he was nothing but Patient and kind with me. My tattoos are beautiful and exactly what I wanted.

I was a bit apprehensive about going to this place because I wasnt familiar with the shop or any of the artist. Compared to the last tattoo place Ive been to its a little more expensive but the work is of greater quality. Austin was my artist, funny guy! They have great customer service from the artist to the receptionist! The guys were so patient despite me being apprehensive and indecisive. Austin did an amazing and concise job, so far everyone has loved my tattoo. The shop is very clean and neat, it is mostly a walk-in shop unless you want a larger piece then you have to make an appointment. If I need anymore work, I will definitely be coming back to this shop!

Everyone here was so easygoing and knowledgeable. I got my first tattoo here (four days after I turned 18) and I dont think the experience could have been better. The facilities are clean, there is careful sterilization, and my tattoo artist drew up a design in about ten minutes. I was in and out in around 2 hours. Highly highly recommend it to anyone going for their first tattoo, or just anyone in general. Great place!

I have gotten 3 tattoos here and will never go anywhere else. The woman that works the counter is friendly and works her @$$ off! Kris is the best. I’ve brought him random ideas and he’s turned them into phenomenal tattoos that I love.

Hannah was awesome walking me through my piercing and taking time to go over some other things I was interested in. Would definitely recommend her if you are getting a piercing! I now have 2 tattoos that were done in this shop, Kyle designed both of them. I am so happy with the results. It absolutely amazes me that I can walk in with a concept that I cant even completely describe and he can turn that into the most beautiful tattoo! I had a small frog on my ankle that I got somewhere else after my grandpa died, and was hoping to have a gladiolus added now that my grandma has passed I really wasnt sure how they would fit together, but it only took Kyle like 15 min to draw up the most perfect one. Im so glad I found the shop and recommend it to anyone and everyone I meet that is looking to get a tattoo.

Really great artists here! I had my nose pierced last summer by Steve and it healed fantastic, looks great. Just had a tattoo done by Ransom and it came out beautifully!! Miles tattooed me he took me for a walk in about midday. He put together this piece I’ve been wanting for a while and created it so beautifully I’m in love with it. It’s a little family tree of my siblings initials. He did exactly what I asked for and placed it exactly where I wanted it and took his time and was so focused and he actually talked to me and held conversation unlike another artist I’ve had. I also wanna mention that the receptionist with a lot of facial piercings beautiful girl is a sweetheart she is so welcoming and easy to talk to very welcoming girl. They are extremely professional and she fits the receptionist job perfectly and they are always clean here have never had any issues I’ve had all body piercings done here I love this place highly recommend!! 5 stars

I got a septum today and it came out amazing the piercer was really nice and it was nice to talk to and it went really quick and fast didn’t even feel a sting when I got it. I’m happy with the outcome of it highly recommend this place if your looking to get your nose pierced defiantly gonna come back for other piercings if I ever do get any.

I had such an amazing experience! Steve pierced my nose (my first piercing) and he was very kind and reassuring. He told me the process and didn’t do anything without me knowing. I’m 15 and was nervous about the process and it only hurt for a few seconds but after that it was great :)! Not too expensive either, nice quality jewelry, and I would totally go back when I’m ready for my septum :)

Was my first time using a tattoo parlor when doing a piercing for my daughters 2nd piercing. First piercing was at Claire’s (no bad experience), but different when using a gun. After reading some reviews about the difference between gun piercing and tattoo parlor piercing. I thought I would give it a try. I also had questions about getting Tragus piercing. It was a great experience and i even talked about tattoos with the piercer. All staff was warm, inviting, kind and energetic.I will be definitely being going back to get some piercings and finally getting the tattoo I have wanted to get for many years. It really boils down to feeling comfortable and this place made me feel comfortable!!

Both my friend and I got a piercing done here. The shop was very busy so we had to wait over an hour (but we didnt have an appointment so that sort of makes sense). The walls are covered in a vast array of tattoo art in case you need some inspiration, but the tattoo artists seemed to be full of ideas as well. The shop was clean and well kept, just maybe a little bit disorganized with knowing who was next in line to have work done and who just needed to pay...

Great atmosphere, they made you feel comfortable. My tattoo went quickly and turned out great! I highly recommend Marx, he did my tattoo, but all of the artists there seem skilled. Walk-ins are welcome, which makes it convenient. Overall, great shop.

I had a tattoo done here last year for my birthday and had such an awesome experience I decided to come back for another. I had a different artist this time, but Andy was super friendly and professional. Once again, the pricing was fair and honest, and I am completely satisfied with my tattoo! Got my septum piercing done a few months back by Steve and he did and amazing job. I lost a ball on the end of my ring and he also replaced that for me for free. It has healed perfectly, was fairly painless, and looks great with my nose shape. Definitely recommend Steve for any piercing you want, hes funny and very calming to be around. Everything was clean and all the proper equipment was used.

Just got my first tattoo done today by Kyle. I had to stop in twice - the first time, I realized I forgot the paper of the image at home. Although they were very nice and tried to figure out how to print it in the shop, it strangely would not print, so I had to run back home to get it and return a couple of hours later. Kyle helped me right away and the tattoo itself took only about 10 minutes - everything was very quick, but not rushed. He did a wonderful job, talking to me while working to keep my mind off of the pain, which, surprisingly, wasnt bad at all. Very professional but welcoming atmosphere and great and fast service - unlike other parlors, they make it seem like they want and are grateful for your business! The price was significantly cheaper than what another shop (Saint Sabrinas) quoted it for - a 100 dollar difference. Also, because it was so quick, Kyle actually reduced the price 10 dollars from what he originally told me. Awesome experience; I highly recommend their shop.

Great Experience! I stopped by to check the place out and was so impressed with the help I got from the front desk that I decided to come in the next day and get a tattoo done. I had originally came in to get a cover up but because of how dark it is Kris advised me to get it lasered or pick something that would cover it better. I was so impressed with his honesty and his professional opinion, I decided to take his advise and wait on that, so instead I went with a design that popped out to me (Sailor Jerry style moth) on my calf. Kris picked out the most amazing colors for it. I am blown away with how fantastic it looks. I cant stop looking at it. The outline is so crisp , the shading is flawless, and the color placement is perfect. Kris has a great personality and his confidence made me feel completely comfortable to have him tattoo me. He made sure I was comfortable during the entire service which I greatly appreciated. I will for sure be coming back to get more ink by Kris. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get an amazing tattoo in a excellent atmosphere.

I have multiple piercings and tattoos, and have been to many different shops over the years. This is, by far, the worst shop I have ever been to. I went here twice within a week to change out my Medusa piercing and both times I had to wait outside for 35-50 minutes. With it being 90+ degrees outside I ended up just leaving. Capacity limits in buildings are now changed, it’s ridiculous they can’t let someone who is just looking at jewelry inside when there is (literally) 2 people in the lobby area. On top of this, the staff have always been rude the few interactions I have had with them. Choose any other shop in the Twin Cities!!!

Hannah made my long-time dream of having a septum come true! She eased me through the process of my piercing step by step, which really helped alleviate the anxiety of a first piercing. She kept great conversation the whole way through and was very, very sweet! 10/10 would recommend to first timers for piercings!

Poor customer service. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter, this was done on Tuesday January 10th, for an appointment on Monday January 23rd. I get a text on Sunday January 22nd stating my appointment has been denied. Reasons were that her last name on her birth certificate and my DL do not match and a photo of her with her school name is required. I was not married to her father at the time of her birth, so that explains that one. Im not tech savvy so I dont know how to download the school picture with the name of the school in it, but I can easily log into the account and show that in person. All easy fixes that did not warrant a denied appointment, something a simple phone call would have cleared up. Once I received the text on Sunday, I immediately called and had to leave a voicemail, asking to speak to someone about this. Never received a call back from this company. Just disappointed in how this was handled especially since I scheduled the appointment almost 2 weeks in advance and did not hear about any concerns/denials until the day before. I had heard good things about this place from co-workers, but again very disappointing overall.

I am 14 years old and my dad took me last night to get my nose pierced. I had Matt as my piercer. This was my first piercing not on my ears so i was a little nervous. He was extremely nice and patient. He was willing to explain everything to me and let me ask all the questions i had. Also he was genuine and wasnt just acting nice and friendly. I had a great experience at Rose of No Mans Land and would recommend it to anyone.

The people there were really helpful and nice. I went in to get my lip pierced and the guy Ryan Malone was totally cool. He explained step by step on how to care for my lip after the piercing . They were better than the other place I went o for my first piercing. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back for more piercings or tattoos, even though I live all the way in New Brighton.

I had researched tattoo places all over the twin Cities and Wisconsin and picked an artist named Marx at the rose of no mans land. Im a very picky individual and my expectations are very high. I had a tattoo done on my left shoulder from the top to my elbow. When it was done it exceeded even my expectations! I would highly recommend this shop for anyone getting a tattoo. I brought in a picture of a tattoo I loved and asked Marx to draw it up but with more in his style of tattoo. It was a custom tattoo not a copy and print tattoo some other yahoo on here referred too. Got my ears pierced here for the first time and they did an exceptional job. A few months later, I had put my earings on too tight and it janked up the piercing and I couldnt get the earing out! I called them and they were able to set up an appointment and take the earing out the same day. Also gave helpful piercing care instructions. 10/10

Today I got a same side double nose piercing on my left side. My experience was amazing at this shop! Matt Fear is a great piercer. He distracted me from being nervous. He was super patient and the shop was extremely clean (you could smell it). He also opened everything right in front of me to ensure cleanliness. He really made it a good experience!! Had a walk-in piercing done around 9pm on a Saturday, I was in and out within 20 minutes. Ryan was quick, clean, and professional. I got my septum pierced by Hannah & she was an absolute sweetheart & made me feel so comfortable. Her space was clean & she did a wonderful job explaining the process. I highly recommend her.

Kris is a fantastic artist. He took a chance on a bad tattoo I had gotten 6 years ago and made it into something so clean and vibrant. I’m now so proud to show off my tattoo. I never again have to look down and be embarrassed of my tattoo. Kris was professional and does amazing work. I’ll be back to see him for my next one. Got my newest tattoo done here a couple days ago and couldnt be happier with what I got! Josh did an AMAZING job not only drawing it out but tattooing it as well. The shop is very clean and the people are so nice! I will be going back for sure!

Rose Of No Mans Land is AMAZING! I had my nose pierced there and Ryan did a great job! I also just got my first tattoo and Kris did a wonderful job getting my design smoothened out and making sure I wasnt nervous at all. Would definitely recommend this shop to everyone!

Good vibes and professional work...I was also impressed cause I’m black, and dark skinned so I wanted to make sure that I was getting work done at a place that knew what they were doing, and I can say that they did a great job!They really helped me feel pretty welcome, and comfortable....and all the lines on my tat were very very clean, and I had no scaring or discoloration!

I had a walk-in tattoo done by Marx today. He was extremely friendly and professional, but thats not what makes this a five star review. I am extremely picky about my ink and my biggest issue with even the best artists is when they dont listen to what I want. Marx listened. He did exactly what I wanted. And he did an absolutely beautiful job. He is perfectly honest about his limitations and you know exactly what you will get with him. I couldnt be happier. Will be back for more soon.Update: just had my second tattoo done by Marx and this one was big. Bigger than I imagined myself going and Im so glad I did. It is so beautiful and so detailed. Better than I imagined or asked for. Comments so far have been that its a piece of art and that it should be entered into competitions. Clean. Friendly. And perfectionists. Couldnt be more grateful.

Went there yesterday to get my 3rd tattoo and Marx did a FANTASTIC job! This is the ONLY place to get a tattoo in my book - the place is clean, everyone is so friendly and encouraging, and it was once again such a wonderful experience. I had a special tattoo done to celebrate finishing my first marathon and am so very happy with it!

Went in today and got my first tattoo as a walk in. Wasnt too long of a wait. Everyone there was very nice and helpful and the artists are fantastic! They did a great job. Every time I look at my arm Ill be glad I went here!

This was my first tattoo which was very scary. The appointment setting was very easy and nothing was rushed. Super friendly artists that helped me a lot on the size and placement of my tattoo, and they didnt rush you or anything. My tattoo turned out better than I thought I would. Im definitely going back to the rose for my next one!

After reading a lot of positive reviews online for this place, I went in to get an estimate and check out the artists.I immediately got a good vibe from the people there. The artist I worked with, Adam, did a quick mockup of the design I wanted, which looked perfect, and gave me a solid price. So, I went for it.It was over almost before it started, and looked just the way I wanted.I will definitely recommend this place to friends; it is clean, has a good atmosphere, talented artists... I literally have nothing bad to say.

For those of you coming to read these Reviews to help determine if you would like to use this business, please really take my Review to heart.I am a 55 year old woman. I had never had a Tattoo. I had wanted one, though, for as long as I can remember. But life kept getting in the way and I tend to like to do for others rather than myself. Then as the years went on, I started to think of myself as ‘too old’ to get one. I always had this ache when I would see ANY Tattoo on ANYone. I was obsessed with shows like Ink Master, etc… Maybe because of life changes due to Covid, this year I decided I have to get one. I needed one. I checked out many shops online. Most had an Artist or two that seemed good. But then I came across Rose of No Mans Land. I knew instantly that this was the place. ALL of the Artists work looked amazing!! As their ‘Appointments’ are set up for larger Tatts, I knew I would be a walk-in. I got there and out front of their sidewalk is a sign. Appointment people are to stand to the left of the sign to wait and walk-ins stand to the right to wait. I was so nervous waiting and even embarrassed because of my age. So I stood there waiting for a wee bit. Then it was my turn to go in. I only sat for a few minutes inside for someone to come to me. The gal in charge of the front of store was awesome! Here I am, this old lady, no Tattoos, and she made me feel so welcome and was so kind and friendly! Then it was my turn to get the Tattoo. Josh was my Artist. How lucky was I!! Though any of them would have been great! He was so nice! He took his time with each step. The Paw Print on my Wrist now Completes Me!! I still get emotional looking at it because I can’t believe that it’s mine! It’s ALL MINE!I would also like you to consider this about a couple of the Negative Reviews…..Dani Rose complained and left a negative review because she had to wait 15 minutes and she had an appointment. I would bet that everyone reading this has waited that long, if not longer, at a typical Doctors appointment. So please take her being very impatient with a grain of salt.Kristina Lauren stated not to go here if you aren’t punk, goth, emo, or alt. or you won’t be treated with respect. This could not be more untrue. I am the most plain, boring, average FIFTY FIVE year old lady! Tattoo shops see every and all types & lifestyles of people and treat & serve them all alike. She also complained about paying $10 for what took 30 seconds for them to do a jewelry change. They are a business. They get paid for their service. If you don’t want to pay for it, then simply do it yourself.This place is BEYOND WORTH IT! I truly HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

I went to Rose of No Mans Land to get my second tattoo. Everybody on staff made me feel very comfortable and welcome! I genuinely had a good time while I was there, even considering the pain of getting a tattoo! The artists are very skilled, creative and professional. I would highly recommend this shop to anybody looking to get a tattoo!

I have been there twice. First time to just add color to a tat done at another place and Marx did a great job. Tonight to have a simple script tat on my foot... It was exactly what I wanted. We moved the transfer around a few times so it was just the way I wanted it. The foot is a pretty painful place to have tattooed, but Jessica was very good. Gave me a little break but also did the work so quickly that it didnt hurt so much. I also got good advice about where it should go to last and font size. The artists at Rose of No Mans Land are top notch!

The place was super clean and super friendly. The guy who did my tattoo was amazing and made sure I was comfortable at all times for my first tattoo. The only down fall I had was that I went in not even a week before and got quoted at $140 and ended up paying $200. But thats what happens when I didnt make a appointment with the artist who quoted me

Great place. Thanks to Brit for my new tattoo. I got in without making an appointment. I went on a Friday (dumb) and had to leave and wait a couple hours but they got me in the same day. They really know what theyre doing and were very helpful. Ill be going back. Oh yeah, and Im an old retired guy.

Miles did my tattoo and I could not be happier, I cannot believe I have such a beautiful piece of artwork tattooed on my body. He was so kind and gave me exactly what I wanted, making sure it was perfect. He took his time and kept checking to make sure I was doing okay. I will definitely be making future appointments with him.

Ive been wanting my nose pierced for several years and decided to do it this weekend. Walked in, was talked to quickly despite what appeared to be a pretty busy day, and within a few minutes was lead to a super clean room, where I received super clear explanations and my loop in my nostril. I was really impressed with the quality of service The thorough explanations and the calm, professional vibe the whole place has. Loved it.

Spent a Friday night looking for a piercer and NO ONE had anyone piercing! My cousin recommended Roses and it was amazing. Went in on Saturday and Steve was friendly and honest. Definitely going back again.

Marx tattooed my sons footprint on my shoulder & its perfectly identical to the picture I showed him! he got every single detail down to the tiny lines. Its better than anything I ever imagined. He was also really friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable for going to their shop for my 1st time. Every staff member Ive talked to has excellent customer service skills!

I drove out to Woodbury because I read all these great reviews about this shop, and it certainly lived up to its expectations. Ryan did a great job with my navel piercing. He made me feel super comfortable with the whole process, and I didnt even feel a thing. Seriously, getting my ear pierced hurt 100x more. Living in Eden Prairie, the 40 min. drive was definitely worth it. This is really the place you should get your piercings done.

They are always really nice and helpful. Reasonable prices. I have gotten a nose piercing and a tattoo love both. They gave me really through instructions for the piercing and I work with farm animals and I didnt get infected nor did I get any of the bumps around the piercing.

I inquired about getting a tattoo at the shop and got an automated reply, which I haven’t run into before. I was told that they don’t do quotes over email. When I said “can I ask why that is” they replied “that’s just how our shop does it” offering no explanation. I live about an hour from the shop so just wanted an idea of the range. I asked if they could make an exception to that rule considering the distance or if not, then if they could suggest other reputable tattoo parlors nearby in which I received no response to. Its very poor customer service, and I can’t imagine it’s any better in person.

Went here cause it was on our way home and it was my birthday gift. Walked in and it was clean and very well maintained steve greeted me and my boyfriend Right away. I told him i wanted my ladies pierced he helped me pick out the right jewelry. Got me in and talked to me about everything and made sure i knew what to expect. I will definitely be going here for every piercing from here on out.

Its sad to leave a bad review, but I must say something. The lack of customer service wasnowhere near respectful, the dysfunctional communication was a lost relay race, the temperamental artist & unsupportive pressure was borderine bullying. After specifically seeking out what I thought would be a high-end, quality work of art to memorialize my lost child, I am instead left insecure & battered from the whole experience (with a tattoo I am ashamed to reveal let alone be proud & honored by)Edit : NOT an artist, a tattooer (her label) - who doesnt even know the color Indigo or how to use it as this client requested - opportunists who were shamelessly controlling & mean...Thank God for laser removal

At age 69 I got my first tattoo and was so very lucky to have been referred to Marx at Rose of No Mans Land. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism, friendliness and customer service. I explained what I wanted and he did not hesitate to make my design better and explain how it would work. I felt very comfortable and would certainly go back.
