I have been seeing Brian and Joe for a very long time and I was so excited and happy for them when I learned they opened their own shop! Brian and Joe are always professional and have created such a comfortable and welcoming environment. They are the only people I trust to do my piercings and I would follow them wherever they went! I will be a forever customer of there’s and look forward to the many piercings I’ll get at their new place, Thistle!

I saw Thistle on Instagram and I was super happy to see a piercing shop that used high quality jewelry close to me! Joe pierced my rook and he was one of the nicest people I’ve met. The piercing was done quickly and it was near painless. My only regret was that this place wasn’t open years ago, but I definitely plan on coming back.

I recently went to Thistle Piercing for my septum piercing and my friend got their nostril pierced. We made this trip from Boston after hearing that these guys opened their new shop. Really beautiful space and super clean! Brian and Joe were very kind, efficient, helpful, and professional. Wonderful selection of jewelry. Not my first piercing from these two and won’t be my last.

Absolutely amazing experience 10/10 would recommend!!! I got my septum pierced today and it was done so well I love how it looks and it was just such a nice environment. The shop was so clean and beautiful and the piercer was so nice and great to talk to. He talked me through the whole process and it was clean pleasant and as painless as a piercing can be. Couldn’t be happier thank you guys!!

Got two holes in both lobes, four holes total. My wife got one extra hole in each lobe and one more. My Mother in Law got I think three holes? Everything was super clean, great communication made the whole process very easy and care free. Their selection of earrings is pretty extensive in design, and safe in material and finish. 10/10 will go here again for future piercings.

I cannot say enough good things about Thistle or our experience with Brian. My 17 year old daughter spontaneously booked a rook piercing last night and he was so amazing to work with. We are already looking forward to coming back for her next one and to downsize her conch jewelry. Brian was incredibly friendly, welcoming and so knowledgeable. Helped us pick something gorgeous for her rook and talked extensively to us about how to move forward with a piercing and jewelry choice done at a far inferior studio. Customers for life here!

I had the best experience getting my nose pierced today. Place was so clean absolutely immaculate and the jewelry was so beautiful and such nice quality. The procedure itself was so quick and painless! Joe did a great job very professional and personable. Highly recommend.

So happy that we got a piercing shop on the north shore, and especially happy its such a great one. Both the piercers are super skilled, knowledgeable, and friendly, and theyve got a good selection of high quality jewelry. Theyre a better shop than any Ive been to in Boston, and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get pierced or for new jewelry!

Super accommodating as a walk in, helped me pick out jewelry and figure out the best spot for the specific piercing. the shop was super clean and beautifully decorated. i was visiting from a nearby city so they gave me recommendations for piercing shops close to me if i need any help. 10/10 !!

This shop is in such a great location and set up so brilliantly! Stylish and clean. They Clearly have customers ease of service and health/safety in mind! The staff is so helpful and clear in what’s best and why. Clearly explained after-care instructions, explained prices before providing services and asked our opinions when discussing future piercing and jewelry purchases! We were welcomed and calmly comforted during all four piercings we got between my husband and I! We WILL be back!

The shop itself is a relaxing and nice atmosphere and the piercer was nice and professional . The jewelry is nice quality and cute ! The actual piercing process was quick and easy . I got my septum done and it was easy!

Got pierced by Joe and the experience was great! I felt less anxious when I was able to ask questions without feeling like I’m being judged. The piercings are healing well. I will come here again for another one!

I recently got pierced by Brian, who is an amazing and warm individual. A friend recommended to visit him as they vouched for him with his many years of safe piercing experience.Not only was Brian very professional, I was comforted by his clean and orderly studio. My experience with the piercing was excellent (Ive had other pierces prior to this) and he explained what the procedure would entail, safety, and thoroughness with the aftercare procedure.Definitely will be coming back, to bring my daughter in for a pierce. I highly recommend Brian and his piercing studio!

The shop is a gorgeous space and easy to find in Salem. I ended up getting pierced by Joe; I knew I was in good hands as the pair had previously worked together. The piercer who did my vertical labret was incredibly professional, thorough, and friendly. Talked me through the whole process, breathing through it, and really made sure just the marks made on my face to line up the needle were done and redone perfectly. I kinda only want to get pierced when I come out to Salem now so I can make sure its done here! Could not recommend Thistle any higher.

Thistle is where you want to go for some more shiny trinkets on your face or body. Joe and Brian are so talented and warm with an excellent selection of jewelry. Got my lip pierced by Joe and I just have to say I 100% will be going back. The atmosphere was great, we felt super welcomed. Everything was very professional and clean, they use good quality jewelry, and the piercing was fast too!Definitely would recommend!

Walking into Thistle and you’re instantly greeted by beautiful pieces and a wonderful staff.As a modified person who’s gotten pierced for over a decade. I found myself extremely comfortable when Brian was piercing me.We added a second conch piercing, with a beautiful gold dome.Brian made the experience so painless! I also purchased a beautiful rose gold piece.Great variety of jewelry from silver to gold to rose gold!Will definitely be coming back !!!

First, I have to say, I was thrilled when Brian opened a shop nearby so I didnt have to go into the city.The shop is beautiful, comfortable, and spotless. Both Brian and Joe are great - professional, kind, and courteous.I finally got new piercings today (not my first from Brian, but its been many years since my last piercing), and I was not disappointed. Worked with Brian for a couple of ear piercings. Was able to walk in and get them done right then! The shop is super clean and Brian & Joe clearly care about the look of their space and making sure that customers feel comfortable. Loved the jewelry selection and the look of my piercings. Will definitely be going back.

Stopped in on a whim itching for a piercing and a new septum ring. The decor is absolutely stunning and its a small and very welcoming shop. The guys greeted me as I came in and Brian helped me pick out a new septum ring and get set up for a nostril piercing, even found an opal stud to match my other one!! The jewelry was reasonably priced for what I was getting ($115 for a silver threaded septum clicker, $35 for the titanium opal stud) and getting the piercing done was a breeze. Ill definitely be coming back once I figure out my next piercing, thank you guys so much!!

I can’t say enough about this place. The decor is AMAZING—the place is gorgeous and cool (and clean for you worry warts). I had my nose pierced by Joe and he was so kind and generous and patient—helping me pick the perfect piece, explaining the process etc. I felt that I could not have been in better hands. The jewelry is such fine quality (and much of it is handmade! And unique and STUNNING!) and the piercing itself was so insanely quick and easy. If anyone is worried about it, don’t be. It was done so deftly, and Joe’s demeanor put me at ease through it. It was over before I knew it began. And now I have a beautiful new look I couldn’t be happier with and I can’t thank Joe enough. My friend and I are already dying to come back for something new so we can continue curating something beautiful with these absolute pros. Don’t go anywhere else. You’ll love them.

I got 3 ear piercings done by Joe, and I cannot say enough nice things about Thistle Piercing! I booked an appointment online (which was very easy btw). The shop is clean and very well laid out. Joe was very helpful in assisting me in picking out jewelry and deciding on placement for my piercings based on my ear anatomy & previous piercings. The entire experience was by far the best of any piercing studio Ive been to and Ill definitely be recommending Thistle to my friends! Ill also certainly be back for more piercings in the future.

Brian and Joe are the absolute best! I’ve been their client for years (evidenced by my heavily adorned ears) and will never make the mistake again of going to anyone else. The new studio is gorgeous, clean, and is in a super convenient location. Beautiful selection of jewelry too.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Went in for a nose piercing and it went fabulously. We also started causally chatting about an older conch piercing and how it has bothered me so we switched the jewelry piece to something better that should help! Would recommend this spot whether you are wanting a new piercing or wanting to update/adjust the jewelry in others!

Joe is such a skilled, conscientious piecer. I got two more piercings on my helix, and a week later, they’re healing beautifully. He also warned me about a potential issue with the placement on my old daith piercing, which I really appreciate. I’ll definitely be back.

Ive been going to Brian for years and have seen Joe a couple of times as well, and both are incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Having had a bit of a youth and being pierced over 40 times, I can easily and happily say Ill only be coming here.
