My friend and I were wanting a tattoo during our trip to Oregon. We called here and Jordan was willing to take us! He was very accommodating and down to earth. We are excited to go back to the midwest with some awesome tattoos! Thanks again!!

Called to try and schedule simple matching sibling tattoos. Told us to call the day of for walk-in availability and we ended up getting in the day we wanted! Todd did amazing, he totally brought our simple idea to life! And the sanitizing, cleaning, prep took longer than the actual tattooing itself. Will be going back for all future tattoos 🤘🏻

Todd did an amazing job. It was my first Tattoo and I loved it! I was very nervous and scared lol...but he kept talking to me and time flew by and before I knew it he was done! It did not hurt as much as I thought it would! The day that I went they were collecting all funds for a buddy of thiers that has passed away... 😔 It is so kind of all those artists to donate all the funds to the family that lost thier loved one. Clean and an inviting environment. The artist i worked with did a wonderful job on my tattoo that he didnt start, but finished from someone elses job not finished elsewhere. I am very pleased. Casey is a great artist. I would definitely go back.

Absolutely incredible experience here! The artists were incredibly nice and very talented! And the tattoo was super well priced! I will definitely be back!! Edit: I just got another tattoo done by Sam, and I have nothing but positive things to say! My first tattoo healed fantastic despite being in a difficult area, it looks great and super crisp. Even after chickening out of my first idea, he was incredibly understanding and put up with all my nervous antics for my second tattoo. The whole environment is super welcoming, super sanitary, and just absolutely fantastic! I cannot recommend them enough!

Absolutely 10/10 for not only the tattoo but for the entire experience. We called looking for a sibling tattoo and they had us in the same day. Were even patient with me needing to get my daughter to a sitter. They were patient and just overall so awesome. Definitely will be going back.

Told the artist I was interested in a mural. He said he didnt understand. An artist that doesnt understand a simple elementry word like mural..?It wasnt that he didnt understand, instead it was obvious he didnt even try to understand. I said I guess I should talk slower like your special(a very much deserved insult). Instead of being humble and honest, they told me to leave. So before you climb the stairs know that the artist has trouble understanding basic vocabulary specific to the field hes paid to understand by the consumer. Additionally hes paid well enough to not care if your pleased by his efforts!

I had an amazing experience. Very professional. I wanted art my kiddos created and Sam did it masterfully!! I couldnt be happier. Ive been to Oregon Tattoo for years and their reputation for having the best artists continues, Ive had a few dating back to 2007.

Ive been getting tattooed by Todd J for almost two decades, with something like 15 tattoos by him. Hes been the best tattooer to work with in my experience, by his integrity, the quality of his work, and overall awesome person to sit and chat with. His personal style/aesthetic in his work is truly unique and very cool, and his traditional american style work is lightyears beyond the over abundance of new and inexperienced tattooers. I would recommend him above and beyond anyone. Many thanks to a killer artist and awesome friend!

Todd with the beard is the sweetest and nicest tattoo artist. I was nervous about my tattoo knowing it was in a sensitive area and he kept me distracted and encouraging me the entire time. He was awesome! I highly recommend him!

This is my favorite shop. I drive on an hour away to get my tattoos done here. The shop is clean and all the artists are really nice. All the flash work on the wall is really nice to look at and the music is always good. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

My 3 daughters and I had small matching ear tats and some arm work we wanted to get done. 1 of the 4 of us would be getting her first tat.Went first to Addictions Tattoo to be quoted a ridiculous price for 1x1 tats ($85!!) and wouldnt even quote on the arm tats because only 1 artist available - when I called ahead to make an appt to be told just come on down whenever and well get you taken care of... Said nope and walked out. That shop missed out on $500+ worth of business, repeat business and Im giving them a bad review to everyone I know.Headed down the street to Oregon Tattoo to be greeted by a party! Happy 21st anniversary! The guys were only doing arm/leg flash but at killer rates and quoted us some great prices for the pieces we wanted for later. Those of us who already have tats picked some flash for fun and we will be returning today for the other pieces.The shop is a large open room - Im used to individual sectioned off stations at most shops but I think the set up here actually helped me be distracted from the pain (Im a huge pansy but keep coming back for more). Very clean, great staff, chill artists who seemed jazzed about helping us out. The experience took the nerves away and I just relaxed into the chair.Todd did mine. Beautiful flower on my forearm. He was quick, clean lines, funny, engaging and entertained my daughters while I was getting work done. Hell be hooking my tat virgin up today with her own hand drawn tat that she will be getting matching with her little sister.Definitely recommend this shop and will be getting more sleeve work done with Todd.

I travel all over the country Ive been tattooed at many various shops that I had a wonderful experience at the Oregon tattoo company.All of the tattooers are friendly and very excited about each others work.My tattoo was done by Todd J but I would happily get tattooed by anyone at this place.

This was by far the best tattoo experience I have had yet. I got a tattoo from Mike and my gf got a half sleeve from Todd. They went above and beyond all expectations and the artwork we received was incredible. The entire staff was super cool and the shop was a dope place to hang out at. Weve definitely found our new place in salem to get our ink done at!

Went for the Friday the 13th flash sale. I should have tipped more. They did an amazing job. The black widow!

It was clean, the guys where awesome and understood what my wife and I wanted to get done. I love that they are open late because my wife and I had been procrastinating all day on whether we would get inked that night or not. It was our first time and they walked us through the whole thing. Really this is an awesome place. Andre was my tattoo artist and you will be seeing me back there for more.

Salem has a lot of great tattoo parlors, and I believe this to be the best one. I have had two tattoos from there now, both from Mike Claypool and they have both been perfect. The place has a great vibe, great art and artists, and is just fantastic. If you want a tattoo in Salem go here. Both of mine have been walk-ins as well, and still have been perfect. Smell of weed to welcome you thought the door. Interesting choice of music that doesnt seem to match the vibe of the place. But tattoo process, quality, and attention to details was appreciated. Walk ins welcomed but make an appt if youre wanting anything bigger than a nickel sized tattoo. Good first experience!

I have lived in Oregon for about two years. I have gotten 3 tattoos from 3 different people at Oregon tattoo co. Everytime I am very satisfied with the work they do.Highly recommend! A+

Ive gotten 5+ piercings, 3 tattoos and a half sleeve done here. Love the unique setting and the staff are great. I was nervous in getting my latest piercing and Andre the piercer talked me through it. Explaining what he was doing and reassuring me along the way, from piercing to placing jewelry. Also, Russ does thee best shading hands down. Til this day I still get compliments on my 3 year tattoos, saying they look fresh. I wouldnt go elswhere.

Went in for a spur-of-the-moment tattoo and the guys were way chill. The guy at the counter made sure I felt welcomed and let me know which artist Id be working with. Can I just say how f-ing rad Jacob is?😂 He talked with me and it felt like we were just friends catching up. I got a smaller tattoo on my hand and he helped me pick the right one with what looked better. Ive literally referenced them to a few friends already because of how happy I was with the service. 10/10 definitely going back.

Mike Claypool has tattooed me and he always does a great job. Amazing line work and color, and super nice. Sam tattooed my roommate and hes also really great. Highly recommend

I had been wanting to get a tattoo for a while now, but i didnt want mediocre work done. A friend recommend this shop to me so I came in and met with Kai. The dude is a master. He exceeded my expectations and then some. The price was lower than I thought and I am very impressed with their work.

My sister and I went in to get matching tattoos. We approved the design, but then they used different lettering on each of us. When we returned for our touch ups they were annoyed we wanted them to be more alike. That was the whole idea. We called ahead for an appointment, when we got there they said there were 2 tattoos in front of us . Then proceeded to look at the tats and said they were fine we dont really need touch ups even though the colors in one were way more vibrant and the font was way different. He then got an attitude well I guess they can wait while I fix what ISNT wrong with yours. !! He started getting stuff out to fix it. By then my sister and I didnt want an angry tatoo guy so we left and will never return to that shop !!!

Kinda sucks. Spoke with and scheduled a 1pm with someone, even confirmed they asked for the time and date. Showed up, and hung out waiting. Decided a reliable artist matters more to me, so im taking my ink addicition elsewhere. Really bummed too, cause i really thought the reviews were good. Just cruddy this happened.

My husband got his Irish flag hand tattoo Im not sure who did it, he went out one morning and came home with it. He talked about how great a place this is. Unfortunately he will have to cone back in his flag has faded. Im looking to come in and get something done

Had a really bad experience here...1st the boy who did my husbands tattoo tip him self he supposed to give us $10 back and when I asked him for it he said I think you wanna tip me and put the bill in his pocket!He mention that he will retouch it for free and in deed it need it a retouch..it was so bad that instead of looking black it looked gray!!! We made an appointment and missed it cuz our car broke down on our way there and had to towed it back ..I text him an apologize and explain what happened and he was so nasty and disrespectful and refuse to fix the tattoo..he is most unethical person I had to deal with. Feel sorry for the others that work there but this type of brats bring down a business.No talent whatsoever..no customer service..a liar that cant honor his word and job..just a vulgar that calls him self an artist...

Got a Celtic tattoo from a skilled artist named Todd. 29 yrs of tattoos and this guy rocked!! Don’t hesitate to get a tattoo from this guy!

Sam, was Unprofessional & in his own words, unskilled with “old, unhealthy skin.” I got a tattoo from him that ended up not taking very well. A lot of patches that didn’t take ink. I was polite & patient waiting for Sam to respond to me via text on scheduling day to come in & get touch up. Ea time I’d text, I wouldn’t hear from him for a few days. When I finally got response, we made appointment to come in. The day came for appointment, turns out Sam was out sick. I was on my way & calling to apologize for fact I thot I might be 5 mins late. He forgot to let me know he wasn’t at work. So, had I not got a hold of him on my way to appt, I would have showed up only to find Sam wasn’t there. I tried to reschedule, yet again. AGAIN took few days before I got response. Finally, I fee tired of begging him to fix his tattoo. I told him I’d find someone else. He informed me it’s hard to tattoo, “old, unhealthy skin.” That it’s a lot easier for ink to stink to young, healthy skin. I’m 44. Not unhealthy, for record. He also informed me he is very busy & cant keep up w/all requests. He has many social media outlets to keep up on & hard to keep up. Ok, what I hear is...”you have too many clients. You are unprofessional & incaple if keeping up w/demand. Also, apps rly unskilled in tattooing all skin types & can only tattoo young ppl. So, limited skill set. He also told me I had an attitude & was obnoxious. Keep in mind, i wasn’t getting responses after numerous attempts to contact. Sam had appointment w/me & never contacted me to let me know he couldn’t make it to wrk & called my skin old & unhealthy. I did save the txs in which he said all this. No exaggerating. No misleading. Just plane rude & unprofessional. Also, NOT quality tattoo

Hmmm where to start? So my son went with his cousin to get her tattoo and decided on getting his brothers birth dates in roman numerals. The owner of the shop was his tattoo artist. WHEN leaving we got to looking at it and realized he tatted one of the dates wrong(permanent). SO I called him about it and his response was theres not much I can do right now. He didnt offer a refund or to help pay for the removal. Im still dealing with this months later and the owner has not at all contacted us to rectify his horrible mistake. DO NOT GO HERE! UNLESS YOU WANT THE WRONG TATTOO!

The guys in the shop are really knowledgeable. I have a tat that NEEDS covering badly!! Instead of telling me what I wanted to hear and make that money, they were real and upfront with me about the ideas and choices I brought to them. I may not have liked hearing it but sure as hell respect it!! That gets my business every time...

Walked in while waiting for a court date, Mike got me in and didnt question my spontaneousness. Beautiful addition to my leg in less than an hour and an amazing price for the work he did! Thanks guys, Ill be back!

I got my first tattoo for my 18th birthday here and it was an awesome job and the tattoo artist, whos name I dont remember at the moment, was VERY easy to work with and I was open to all the ideas he had and in the end the tattoo was SO worth it. I love it and it was very clean and beautifully detailed. I will be going back again. Regards about the smell, it did not smell bad when I went so Hmm idk about that.
