I absolutely love my tattoo that Sharon did for me. She provided exceptional artwork and it was exactly what I was looking for. She was great to work with, very friendly and professional. Everyone at the shop was very welcoming.

We had such a great experience here. I was in Salem for my bachelorette party. Andrew was at the front desk and took 6 of us with no issue. He was so personable and easy to work with. The shop was clean and the vibes were great. We had Sharon & a guest artist (Gabriel @black_blood_studio) tattoo us. Sharon did my tattoo - its perfect. She was the best! Definitely recommend going here!

Popped in while on a family vacation, the customer liaison connected me with Iris, she was phenomenal! Gave me exactly what I wanted, she was so kind and considerate. We had great conversations during the tattoo. My tat also healed beautifully and quickly. 10/10 will be going back next year!

The atmosphere is nice. The staff are friendly. Andrew was manning the front desk and doing a great job. So friendly and helpful. Sharon did a fantastic job drawing a unique design just for me from an inspiration picture and a few verbal ideas. Her execution was even better. She has 30 years of experience and you can tell. My lines are crisp and the shading is perfect. Dozing in and out while getting a tattoo is always a good sign. She was wonderful. 10/10 would use her again and recommend her.

Love this tattoo shop! During my first trip to Salem, I was really wanting a fun, spooky tattoo. I walked into this shop and was stoked to find two flash books FULL of spooky art! There were so many to choose from and I finally decided on this adorable black cat. The artist, George, did a great job and I love how it turned out! The shop overall had a very nice and clean atmosphere. The people up front were super friendly and helpful. As a walk-in, they were able to get me in right away, which I really appreciated. If I had more time, I would have gotten some more flash. I can’t get over all of the amazing, spooky flash they had! On my next trip to Salem, I definitely plan to come back here and get some more work done. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic time at Witch City Ink in Salem. The atmosphere was great, and the people at the front desk were easy to talk to. I got a Phoenix tattoo with a DNA helix in the background. Natan did a fantastic job, and I am glad I chose to work with him for my first tattoo. Natan is a very professional and amazing individual. He made the entire process so easy.I came back again to fix a tiny detail in the tattoo; Natan was able to help me with that. He didnt even charge anything extra. I would recommend Natan and Witch city Ink for your tattoos.

Went for a walk in and got in and out pretty quickly. It’s a little pricey but that’s not surprising given the area. Experience for the most part was good, the artist was nice and went by smoothly. Only negative is they won’t even allow you to have one person come back with you. While I understand not wanting people to bring in groups or multiple people I think allowing one is a pretty reasonable ask that 99% of shops allow. Iv heard of shops being this way but never experienced it. People can be very uncomfortable in this situation especially if the tattoo requires any level of undress. Just seems like an easy ask to make your customers feel more comfortable.

Clean cozy shop! Everyone was friendly, informative, clean, and professional. They accommodated me for the one day I was in Salam to come in, got me in and out quickly so my whole day wasnt in the chair, and the art was great!

We had such an amazing experience for our first ever tattoos! We will definitely be coming back to get more tattoos! Love this place, its environment and its people!

Stopped in on a whim. Gal at front was slightly impolite at first, but fellow who was also at front desk was personable, so we let it slide. We wanted tattoos while we were in Salem, so decided to overlook her questionable attitude. We were confirmed with an available artist, and gave a non refundable cash deposit of $40. We were told that our artist was working on a tattoo and we would be called 15 minutes before they were set to take us. We wandered around for just shy of two hours, and then decided to stop back in as we were passing the tattoo shop again. We wanted to check in to see how things were moving along and make sure we didnt miss a call. Same gal approached us and abrasively asked how she could help us. (But not in a helpful way - in an annoyed way) I said we were checking in about xyz artist, and we were told (snapped at) that she was still in the middle of a tattoo and we would be called when they were ready. Front desk gal 100% dismissed us as an inconvience with her tone and body language. I tried to smooth the awkwardness by saying OK, we will just go and wander some more where she reiterated again that we were not all that welcome by saying Yep. Just go wander and come back when we call. (Again, not in a nice way) More than a 1/4 of my body is ink. Im not new to this, and I understand that tattoos take time. We had no problem waiting, but there should also be no problem just checking in without being dismissed and told in not so many words, not to come back until we got a phone call. There are 100 different ways she could have said the same thing without being so rude. It was so offputting that we decided to not come back at all. The shop can keep the $40 deposit, and lose out on two tattoos, and our future business. Go elsewhere. Its clear this tourist trap has business because of their location, not their customer service.

What an awesome shop! I couldnt believe how great of an experience we had, given the group I was with was hoping to get flash done in October. They have an awesome system set up for flash work, and pricing was very reasonable. My artist was Matteo, and he did a fantastic job, and was so fun to talk to. Everyone in the shop was so nice and professional, and I cant recommend enough. If you go in October, be prepared for a bit of a wait, but also please be patient! Its well worth the time and money.

Not the greatest photo, but Renee was awesome. I loved her personality and the conversations we had made the tattoo easy to manage….not to mention the detail for a walk in tattoo and the attention to what I wanted while making it her own. Working with her was lovely. I would highly recommend her, she definitely added to the experience. If you plan on doing a walk in….plan your time wisely as these artists will make sure it looks great before sending you on your way.

I was in Salem for a couple of days and really wanted a tattoo. George was my artist at Witch City and I am very pleased with my tattoo. I also thought the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

Got my first tattoo here on 01/20. Everyone was super sweet, especially my artist Sharon and the front desk manager Andrew. There was little to no wait, and everyone was so informative and friendly! The prices are very reasonable, they’re all very dedicated to the experience as well! (Boris is very cool)Sharon was so sweet and made my experience an amazing one. She gave me pep talks about how the process works for tattooing, and aftercare for a quick and easy recovery. She was very patient with me and supportive of the style and placement as well! My time with her made for a great experience overall!

While waiting for my daughter to get a tattoo I decided to get one as well. Jorge was my tattoo artist while I whiled away the time with August at the front desk. Very nice store, very nice people and most importantly the lines were clean and neat.

My walk-in experience today was great from beginning to end. Nice flash book items, but came prepped with a small linework ghost in case nothing caught my eye. They had the stencil drawn up and me in a room in less than 10 minutes. Matteo encouraged some shading to spruce up the design and I let him do his thing, done in under 30. It came out better than I could’ve hoped for!

My friend and I came to visit Salem for the weekend a few weeks ago and we came across this wonderful tattoo shop! This was my first tattoo experience and i was absolutely amazed with how smooth the entire process was! The team is so welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable being in the space and Renee Mandrake did such a phenomenal job with the flower tattoo that I received. Thank you Renee!!! Thank you SO much to the staff for giving us such a wonderful experience, this place is by far one of my favorite memories and I definitely plan on coming back again in the future! My tattoo is mostly healed by now, and it looks fantastic. :)

I stopped in Salem for my first time and decided to stop by for a walk in! Their super sweet receptionist called me back super fast and I was tattooed by bre ! She was amazing, super gentle and fun to talk to! I love my work by her! Can’t wait for my next trip!

My friend and I came to Salem for the weekend and she decided to spontaneously have us get tattoos while on our trip. This would be my first so I was very anxious. They have a flash book only sessions during the month of October and no appointment policy. So first come first serve but they have a call list they go through in order. We tried getting them on a Saturday but they ended not being able to take us that night but honored our time waiting and put us in the very next day in the morning. The front desk girl (I forget her name but has green hair) was so kind and made the process very easy. My tattoo artist was Bre and she did such an amazing job with my tattoo! She eased my nerves going into it answering any questions I had. She also restenciled my tattoo 3 times making sure it was the correct size and placement I wanted. I even added on an extra item to my tattoo and she only charged me $15 more than the asking price of $150. The shop and staff were overall very professional, clean and friendly. If my friend and I are feeling spontaneous in Salem again we’ll be sure to pay Witch City Ink a visit!

We came to the shop just to see inside as we assumed there would be a very long wait. Well, we must have had some cosmic timing because when I inquired about a wait time, an artist was ready to take a walk in! Sharon was amazing, from asking about the design I wanted, to helping make a piece of flash a one of a kind, to doing the actual tattoo! I absolutely adore it! Everyone at the shop was very nice and the shop itself was very, very clean! I now have a piece of Salem with me wherever I go! I would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone!

Amazing experience with Witch City Ink, I traveled to Salem, Massachusetts for a birthday weekend and they were able to make a appointment with me a week in advance and had a phone consultation with me beforehand. They were very sanitary and strict with COVID procedures. My artist, Bre Corsini did great work on my tattoo, she was super chill and light handed, she put 100% in my tattoo and is very confident in the belief of giving great tattoos is more important than money.

Cant say enough good things about Witch City Ink! Erin is such an incredible artist, & Im so grateful to be able to showcase his art to everyone I know! Would recommend this studio to anyone who wants to make a lifelong memory in the Witch City! 🥰

Visited in July- Natan was wonderful and they got us in quickly! Be aware that the shop has a $150 minimum, they require a deposit if youre added to the waiting list, if all of the artists are occupied at the moment, and is cash only. But they do have an ATM there in the shop if need be. Very clean and well managed. The atmosphere is awesome, authentic and true to Salem, and they have flash sheets to choose from if youre looking for a lasting souvenir. Me and a friend were about to come in and both get tattoos within an hour.

A friend and I were on a daytrip to Salem. We went in on the off chance theyd be able to fit us in for a tattoo as a reminder of our trip.They got us in pretty much straight away. Very good price and really impressed with our tattoos

Very easy walk-in experience. I was nervous to not have an appointment but they made it so easy and smooth. Both artists my friend and I saw were professional and kind. Decent pricing and good work! Convenient they have an ATM although it only allows $200 max so had to use 2 transactions and pay 2 fees. Make sure you bring cash with you!

Had the pleasure of being tattooed by Bre this past Friday. The shop was able to accommodate me within the hour as I was visiting Salem for the day and was a walk-in, which is very much appreciated. I had two small tattoos and Bre did a fantastic job first with taking the time to ensure the placement of both pieces was proper and making the process go smoothly and efficiently. Thanks Bre and team for the awesome experience!

(I went in April)~ My artist was Sharon, and she was super cool and nice! It was my first tattoo, and it was a super nice environment and she was very gentle. I did a walk-in and was pretty nervous about what I wanted so I did a flash tattoo from their binder! I loved their art and chose a ghost with a candy corn balloon :) They do not have many color artists there, or ones that specialize in it, but Sharon very willingly did the color for the candy corn and even encouraged it. I love it as my first tattoo and place to get it. The front guy was super friendly and sweet, made it so much easier! I got right in within about 5 minutes! I cant thank them enough!*****-shop minimum is $150 (i knew this beforehand; always do your research!)-Not many specializing in color-still require masks with artist (at least with mine, others i think so as well)-walk ins are only arms and legsThe tattoo in these pics is not healed. It looks beautiful and perfect in person and much more healed!

We planned a tattoo for my wife before visiting Salem. Andrew at the front of house was awesome! Erin did my wifes tattoo. Andrew mentioned they had an opening if I wanted one so of course I did. Told him what I wanted and Sharon did amazi g work! Erin also did a great tattoo for my wife! The entire staff was so cool and laid back! Definitely go see them! Just got my tattoo there from Erin. He did an amazing job & gave me exactly what I asked for. Everyone there was amazing. Andrew met us at the front of house & set the vibe for the whole visit. Very nice & funny. Everything was very clean & the decor fit perfect with the Salem vibe. Cannot recommend enough!

Made an appointment with Erin to pick out of his flash book. My tattoo came out better than expected, his black work is a 10/10. He would be my regular artist if I didn’t live five hours away. Definitely recommend.

Witch City is the best place to get any kind of work done, from a huge new piece to a tiny addition. Always professional, pristine and the shop is filled with full blown talent. Went to Olivia today and she is wonderful! Super nice, very skilled and was extremely patient with me while I figured out my exact placement. Stopped in while on a trip to Salem. The customer service was great however I can’t say the same about the quality of my tattoo. The shop minimum was $150 which is understandable given that it was in October. I got a simple solid moon on my wrist. The lines are uneven and it looks like it was done with a sharpie.

Went in over the weekend and there was a long line. No big deal, hung out in line waiting, then the two ladies in front of us got to the front desk. The guy at the front desk could not have been more rude to them. He was condescending, short, and just rude. He took a phone call while one of them was talking and was rude to the person on the phone too. Once he hung up, I heard one of the ladies ask how long hed think the wait would be. I was curious too, so I listened in. He was so unhelpful and even made a joke about it (using foul language, I might add, which normally I dont care about, but it seemed to be at this womans expense), making an employee behind him laugh. That was enough for us and we walked out before we got to the front desk and spoke with anyone. I understand being busy and having a lot of clients or even being short staffed and all, but it takes no time to just be nice to people. To some people this may not bother them, but it bothered me.

I came as a walk-in on a Saturday night in September and only had to wait 2 hours to be seen. Bre Corsini was my artist and she absolutely rocked it with my new witches broom tattoo that I will cherish forever as a souvenir from Salem.

I had my first tattoo ever done here by Olivia Pakitsas and it’s incredible. I got to the shop about 15 minutes early and we started the process as soon as I walked in. Olivia talked me through the design and showed me everything she was going to be doing in detail to make sure I was good with it and after that we began the actual tattooing process. She started with a small line to make sure I was comfortable moving forward as, like I said, it was my first tattoo and after I confirmed that I felt fine the time kinda flew by. The line work on this is amazing and the colors as well as the shading look exactly like what I was shown on the picture beforehand so I have nothing but praise to give this shop and in particular, Olivia.My girlfriend also got a tattoo done today, a flash tattoo done by Heather and hers started a while after mine as mine was scheduled and hers was a walk in and according to her, Heather was very kind& accommodating and her tattoo looks beautiful. She was all giddy after seeing it and so excited to show me just as I was to show her mine.Tattoos are a big commitment. I’m glad I went here to finally get my first and I’m grateful to have worked with Olivia. I’d recommend booking an appointment with her.I don’t know if pictures can be posted with these but if I figure out how to attach them I will post one of mine.

Witch City Ink was GREAT, we were in Salem this weekend and I knew I wanted a tattoo. I had looked at Witch City Ink before we left NY and when we got to Salem and checked them out they were super nice and accommodating. I looked through their Flash Tattoo books which had tons of awesome designs but I had an idea in my head of what I wanted and thats when I met my artist Mateo. He was amazing, I showed him a couple pictures of what I had in mind and he took some picture and drew up something adorable for me.Now if you have read the other comments there are a few complaining about the wait and what not... This is a Flash Tattoo shop in the middle of a heavy tourist area, you are not the only person who wants a tattoo there is going to be a wait, if you truly want a tattoo it is worth the wait, dont hate on them for being busy. They open at Noon and thats the best time to get there and get your name on the list! We got there at noon and got my name on their call sheet and then went out and enjoyed the rest of Salem, by 3 pm we had done our shopping and it was my turn for my tattoo! Mateo had drawn the cutest little ghost for me and I was so excited and he had such a good energy that it just made me more excited! He was fast and my tattoo is beautiful, I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Witch City Ink and Mateo for this great memory of Salem.

Came for the flash sale with some friends while on our trip. The shop was clean, my artist was super nice and I enjoyed talking to him. Unfortunately I’m not super happy with the line work of the tattoo. My friends had different artists and theirs came out sooooo beautifully, but mine not so much. The lines are super shaky and not straight at all, as someone with a lot of other tattoos my “standards” aren’t super high but this work is just super subpar especially for a flash sale

I went in last week to add to my ever-growing tattoo collection and had the pleasure of working with Olivia. We had messaged via email after I snagged one of her openings last month and she was very accommodating and professional. Originally, I had submit my request for a totally different concept and changed my mind. She was happy to take on the new project and she KILLED it. Before sitting down she took the time to show me her design, and printed several different sizes for me to choose from. She even went so far as to recommend avoiding tattooing over several freckles on my arm so that I can keep an eye on the size and coloring for my future skin health. A little embarrassed to admit, I had never even thought of that even with skin cancer in my family. I was very comfortable throughout the whole process. Olivia is meticulous about cleanliness and it’s very evident in her preparation and execution. I am over the moon about my new tattoo and cannot wait to get more time in her chair soon!!Thank you so much Olivia!!!

Wonderful place. They did great work! I was a walk-in, and 30 minutes later, they had a design drawn up, and I was getting the tattoo. Ill definitely be back the next time Im in the area!

I emailed them over a month in advance to book am appointment. They emailed back saying they were booked but would take me as a walk in. I show up and the woman asked what I wanted, was very rude about it, and after talking to the artists informs me that they wont do it because I wanted it behind my war. She tells me there are no artists here who do that placement. She didnt even ask if I wanted it somewhere else. Theyre very rude and act like youre not worth their time. She could have been nice. When I asked if it would be better to come another day she said, no, no artist will do that. They act like they dont need your money. Definitely try another place with customer service skills. Its obviously just a money grab for them because of their location.

My friend and I were on vacation in March and we both wanted to get a tattoo. Not only did they accommodate us last minute they did a very good job. I had Olivia as did my friend. She is a great person with a beautiful soul and a light hand. She even listened to us about what we wanted and drew up the best versions of what we sent. Words cannot describe how great my experience was and what a badass job Olivia did on both of our tattoos. Thank you to the shop for being so professional and clean as well. You all know what you’re doing.

As soon as we walked in, everyone was very friendly. My sister and I got matching tattoos from K. She was wicked nice and super professional. I will be getting my next tattoo from her in the near future! We liked the place so much my husband made an appointment the next day to get his tattoo done by Larry. Larry was also wicked nice and super professional! Both K and Larry are excellent artists and I cannot recommend them enough!! Seriously you will not be disappointed going here!!

Disappointing experience. We were first in line at 12pm for walk in and they are first come first serve. The receptionist was kind of rude. I was going to get a small witch hat and my wife a small ghost. I did research beforehand about possible flash options and price. No info was posted on the website about the walk in policy. What would have been a MAYBE 10 minute tattoo each was going to cost us $150 per person minimum. Total tourist trap and outrageous price. No where on the website does it say that you have to pick from the flash book for walk in, which isn’t a problem but that really should be on the website so you can prepare beforehand. We didn’t end up being tattooed because the whole vibe felt off to me, it was overpriced and someone that was behind me got to go first. That’s not really first come first served. All in all disappointing experience.

Olivia P was amazing! SUCH a talented artist. She created a custom piece for me with the exact specifications I was looking for, and it came out beautifully. She was super professional and efficient, and consistently checked in on my comfort level throughout the appointment. Couldn’t be happier with how it came out, and can’t wait to come back!Also, Witch City Ink has done a great job with Covid regulations. It’s very clear that they care about the safety of their staff and clientele. Thanks guys!!

This shop is amazing and so laid back. I went on two different days and was tattooed by Olivia and Heather. They were both so incredibly nice, professional, and gave amazing tattoos. Highly recommend. Theyre also now doing walk-ins again which is awesome if youre in the area and didnt book.

Both artists Ive worked with here were great at what they do....and theyve left to work elsewhere. My consults were done entirely by email. At the time, they were down a shop manager, so maybe the communication and organization of booking has improved since then.Honestly, I think this place is kinda hyped based on its location and TV publicity. Its a good shop, and they take as much work as they can.I think the prices are a bit on the high side. Probably because of aforementioned hype.Parking is always a beast unless, like me, youve given up on street parking in Salem and just use the mall garage when its not at capacity.

I had a wonderful experience with Witch City Ink! Ill start off with saying how impressed I was with how they are handling the Covid protocol. I felt super safe knowing that they take the precautions very seriously (they only except appointments and check your temperature when you arrive). The staff is very friendly and personable! My work was done by Olivia P - she made me a lovely customized piece and I could not be happier! I cannot wait to go back! For those of you that are turned off by the wait lists please be patient. Its absolutely worth the wait to get high quality work!

I got a tattoo from Olivia a couple of weekends ago while I was in Salem. It went as well as I possibly could have imagined. Everyone was beyond nice and accommodating and I am over the moon with the tattoo I got and I cant wait to go back for another. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the tattoos are top notch! I can’t believe I forgot to post a review! I got a forearm tattoo last year in October and I’m still blown away by the beautiful art that is now on my body. Olivia is so talented! She makes you feel comfortable and welcome! Her art is honestly like no other and I get compliments on my tattoo every day!!! Thanks Olivia!!! You’re a phenomenal tattoo artist!!!

I had Bre as my artist and she was amazing! She was super attentive and made sure I was comfortable and that I liked everything! The shop itself was great and I loved the atmosphere. I cannot stress how great of an experience this was for my first tattoo and how amazing Bre was!

My daughter and I just had our tattoos done by Larry. He was fabulous! He had no problem accommodating my disability and even found a way to make my other daughter part of the process!Our tattoos were fairly simple but Larry took his time and made certain we were happy with the outcome. He was very clear on the care of our new tattoos and provided us with lots of tips.The shop is clean and has such a chillvibe. All staff we had contact with were lovely.We will definitely return for further work, despite the 1.5 hour drive.

What an amazing experience. The office staff reached out a few times in the days leading up to my appointment for confirmations and to answer any questions I had. On the morning of my appointment, Natan called me with some pre-appointment questions that would help him be better prepared when I arrived. The shop is very comfortable and the staff was very welcoming. Natan already had a drawing prepared and within a few minutes of arrival he was already starting. His work is amazing and I cant wait to go back in a few weeks for my next appointment. Witch City Ink will be my go-to shop from now on, cant recommend it enough!

Had great experiences at my consult and tattoo appointments with Witch City Ink staff and my tattoo artist, Olivia P (@oliviapakitsas on Instagram)! Olivia P is incredibly talented, enjoyable to work with, and up for an artistic challenge. Though this was my first time working with her, I was able to completely trust her as she consistently made me feel listened to and apart of the process. My tattoo appointment was yesterday, and I am already looking forward to the next time I get to work with her!!!! Also -- COVID precautions (masks, appointment spacing) helped me feel comfortable and safe in addition to the cleanliness of the shop.

I recently got a tattoo done by Olivia P and I can’t recommend her enough! She worked with me and my scattered thoughts to create a tattoo that I love. I was a little nervous going in alone due to COVID but Olivia instantly made me feel comfortable. She really is one of those people that can make everyone feel like a friend! I’m so happy I chose her as a tattoo artist as now I have her beautiful artwork on my arm. I’ve been to Witch City Ink for two tattoos and both times it has been very clean and professional.

Amazing service and quick to get us in. We came in as a group of 5 looking for matching tattoos and they did not disappoint. They asked us to return an hour later and Larry did all of our tattoos one after the other. He was fun and incredible and we all had a blast. Receptionists are always super friendly and inviting, my tattoo artist is Olivia Pakitsas, she’s extremely talented, has a great personality and she did above and beyond what I expected for my sleeve design. Super excited every time I have a tattoo appointment coming up, not only because she’s going to add more phenomenal work on my body but to see her and talk to her and catch up! 5 stars for sure !!

Wonderful environment and VERY caring artists. The overall energy is extremely pleasant as soon as you walk in until you leave. K. Lenore was my tattoo artist and took the time to ask me all the right questions to help me figure out perfect placement and made sure I was completely comfortable overall. Would recommend K. I tried to get a tattoo and they turned me away because I didnt have proof of vaccination?! There are no posts about it and no one told me on the phone when I called asking about walk-ins. There are no signs on the doors about it, either. I spoke to a few other people that had gotten tattoos there and they said they werent asked for proof of vaccination. We had heard amazing things about this shop, so we were really excited. Sadly, sorry guys, but you get a one star from me.

When I decided to get tattooed in Boston/Salem over Halloween last year, I really searched to find the right fit. I had lost my previous artist, with whom I had worked closely for about 6 years, about 8 years ago and have been really bummed about trying to find someone I click with artistically and personally since then. K proved to be such a perfect fit. She tattooed my fingers, providing me with different sketches of my idea to see what actually made the most sense. She also did an amazing job - over a year later, Ive actually only lost a small amount of ink, which is pretty incredible for fingers. Im tremendously excited to work with her again in a couple of weeks for my second, larger piece with her. Honestly cannot recommend this shop enough. They have a great, collegial vibe and are tremendous artists.

My boyfriend and I wanted to get cute little walk-in tattoos for our trip to Salem and this shop had the best reviews so we decided to go here. The day before we talked to them about it and they told us to show up close to opening as possible and have a design ready. My boyfriend is an artist and designed a simplistic broomstick to match for the two of us the night before. We showed up an hour before opening to ensure we’d get in. We ended up getting a guy named Natan who I would say almost completely butchered the design. The two tattoos do NOT look the same at all. They look sloppy, rushed and not worth the price of $150 an hour. Mine is shaded way too dark and parts of the design are missing completely while my boyfriends looks hardly shaded at all. There’s shading outside the line work on both of our tattoos and the line work itself is super shoddy. The tattoos just both look rushed and not at all like the artist was taking the time and care to make a solid piece. After looking at all the portfolios we did like all the pieces we saw, unfortunately the ones we got did not reflect these pieces. Definitely wish we could have seen one of the other artists take on the design instead.

LOVE the shop, everyone is super nice. I have two tattoos from them now. The first just got touched up, but it looks a bit off now that I have taken off the plastic. The other I got done today, it looks really nice. However, I was a little thrown off with the price. I paid $50 over the phone as a spot holder, then the tattoo that literally took 20-30min was another $150, for a total of $200. I was expecting this one to be at a total of $150 max.Will most likely go again though.

I was really excited to travel to Salem and get work done here. I emailed them and filled out the requirements. I heard nothing back. When i called the store a week later they were very sweet and said it would take a few days. This was over a month ago and I never heard anything at all. This was super disappointing and not very professional at all. I wanted to make sure I booked with them months in advance. It would’ve been nice if they would’ve at least contacted me back if they couldn’t done it. I would’ve understood completely.

This place is amazing! Everyone I interacted with was lovely. Olivia did a cover up for me and she is incredibly understanding, knowledgeable, and talented. She was very easy to talk to and she made sure I was comfortable every step of the way.

Ive been tattooed by two different artists at Witch City Ink, K and Natan. Its a very relaxed atmosphere, with great conversation and a chill vibe while youre sitting. Theyre very into the ritual and intention of tattooing so if you want something meaningful and imbued with powerful intent, go here! Not just another tourist tattoo shop. People never fail to comment on the beauty and artistry of my tattoos, thank you guys!

Got a traditional tattoo of a witch’s head done by Larry Allen, and it came out EXACTLY as I wanted. He had a very steady hand and didn’t dig in with the needle. He also allowed me to choose what kind of music to play while I got tattooed, and he was really sweet, personable and friendly throughout which made the process go by quickly. The reception staff was also really helpful in accommodating two friends and I to get tattooed at the same time. 11/10 would recommend!

Ive been getting my tattoos from Olivia P at witch city ink for awhile now. The tattoo parlours great and really smart about covid right now but Olivia P is my reason for always being a returning custome to witch city. I highly recommend her work and any of her Flash work. Shes done a lot of original art for me and is always thoughtful and considered about my feelings while doing what she does best, making art. Love for, highly recommend!

I came to Witch City because my artist, Kayleigh, moved there and I couldn’t be more happy! I already knew Kayleigh was an amazing artist, and I absolutely love all of the work she has done on me - we are almost finished with a full sleeve on my right arm - but I’m just so impressed with the shop itself too. Not only is it very clean and professional, but it’s also beautiful and welcoming. The setup is more private and personal than the (many) other shops I’ve been to, fantastic decor and flash art if you’re need inspiration. I really cannot say enough good things about Witch City Ink - they are awesome! And my ink looks perfect!

My fiancé and I were on a day trip to salem and sort of impulsively decided to get tattoos. I had been planning to find a tattoo studio a few nights before and knew what i wanted for the most part. We decided while were there that we would try witch city ink because it had pretty good reviews and it was in a convenient spot. Since it was during the week even at their “busy” time we got right in pretty much. We both got our tattoos from k and she was so nice and accommodating. I already want to plan a trip back just to get more work done from her. Even though the minimum at $100 feels a little steep (both our tattoos were small and mine was simple) I couldn’t recommend this shop more. I especially loved seeing an artist so excited and enthusiastic about her work even if it was a simple piece. Definitely worth it.

Stopped by for a walk-in, and had a great experience. Guest artist Mateo gave me some beautiful new art, the shop is clean and fun, the staff is friendly and professional.

Came in with my husband. Both of us were looking for something small and spiritual and Jaesun delivered! Loved his energy and humor. He did great work on our tattoos. Will definitely be trying to find our way back here again for larger pieces we are planning.

I never like to leave negative reviews when I never even got a tattoo from an establishment. But the big issue is the lack of communication. I did everything they asked plus more to make the booking easier. I first emailed them, and did not hear back in over a week. I had to call them to make sure they got my email. Thankfully they did and said they would call me back within a week, and if I dont hear back to call them again.A little over a week goes by and I havent heard anything or was emailed anything. So I called back again. Note I tried to book 2 tattoos that would take about an hour each, more than a month in advance. And I spoke with a different person who then said they would contact the artists and I should hear back in 2 days. I havent heard anything back in almost a week. At this point as a customer I dont feel like they dont want to tattoo us. We are coming from out of state and had multiple tattoos done and wanted to go to the highest rated shop, but at this point, if they dont want to tattoo us or dont have the sufficient supplies, they could have easily let us know. Being on the wire hoping to hear back for almost 20 days now. Our trip is in 2 weeks so we cant book anywhere else now. This is not a good way to feel.I hope this helps the shop figure out a way to keep in touch with their clients. Again I hate doing things like this.

Got a custom tattoo piece from Natan, and though I tried my best to be completely still, there was quite a bit of muscle movement. Natan was extremely professional and helped me get through 2 sessions for an incredibly beautiful looking piece! So happy I went with Witch City Ink again.

Didn’t get a chance to make an appointment because the front clerk was so incredibly rude. Not a bad wait or price but the service is lacking. Asked if there was a waiting list I could put my name on and his was response was “that’s how a waiting list works.” Looked at tattoos a bit and walked out because how could I let someone tattoo me after belittling me? Terrible customer service.

Horrible customer service. Thank Goodness for SALEM INK. My best friend and I visited Salem for 2.5 days. We knew two things while planning our trip...we wanted to see all things Hocus Pocus-related and we wanted Best Friend tattoos while in Salem. We searched online for about a month before our trip and we knew we wanted to visit Salem Ink. My gut kept telling me this was our shop to go to. We did a lot of research and narrowed it down to 2 places...Salem Ink and Witch City Ink. When we got to Witch City Ink, we were barely greeted by two ladies. We explained what we wanted, showed our pictures that we prepared, and they just kind of blankly stared at us. They asked a few clarifying questions and pulled up a schedule. One of them went back to “Lallen” (which we only know by the Business Card) to clarify his schedule. We were told that he could probably get one of us in that day or the next day because his appointment shouldn’t take long as long as he was planning for. She said he would call us to confirm and to let us know. Needless to say, we never got a phone call. Salem Ink is the place to go to if you are looking for a friendly and clean experience from artists who care about their work and customers.

I worked with Natan for just over a year completing a magnificent full back piece. Natan diligently worked this custom piece to match my personality, spirituality, body shape, and strength.  Everyone at Witch City is clean and professional.  His pricing was well worth the talent, experience and attention I received for such an amazing piece of art.  I receive compliments everywhere I go.  I should also mention it was a cover of two other poorly done pieces.  I never thought a cover would be possible. He is a true magician!If I could give more stars I would!

They are quick and efficient while still producing incredible work. All of the staff was kind and understanding. Jaesun looked at my design and adapted it to be more artistic and tattoo-like. He has one of the most spectacular portfolios I have ever seen.

I first was tattooed by the very talented Natan a few years ago. It was a large design we discussed and he developed of a fox with a camera nestled between some beautiful honeysuckle and honeybees on my left thigh. He was courteous, professional and the conversation over the 5.5 hour session flowed perfectly, with a lot of life experiences, jokes and such overlapping. We became friends at this point. I also met his wonderful partner, K lenore Siner during this session, who I also consider a friend. The following year, she added to my tattoo a beautiful monarch butterfly and more wildflowers. As with Natan, our conversation was wonderful and the work is beautiful.The staff at witch city is so talented, passionate and kind. They bleed art. They embrace your ideas/visions and create something tangible that you can carry forever. It helps that the conversation during a tattoo session is wonderful, I cannot stress this enough as I am a person who thrives on building connections and communicating with others.Im so happy with the work, the shop is spotless and I highly recommend anyone considering a tattoo to check this place out.

I booked an appointment to get a specific piece done a week in advance. When I arrived they told me that they only did flash tattoos on weekends, which the woman on the phone did not inform me of. I decided to get a flash tattoo. The experience was ok... When shaving my arm she was wicked rough and ended up cutting a mole and giving me razor burn. Seemed like she was rushing through the tattooing. However, the tattoo came out great and I liked the result. In general, bad customer service and communication.

I have gotten all three of my tattoos done at witch city ink and they have been done by Larry Allen, Jaesun and K Lenore. I love my tattoos they came out great and I will definitely go back for my next one. I recommend this shop for anyone who is looking to get a tattoo.

*Tattoo occurred fall 2018**Gonna be entirely honest with this review*I have been here a few times. The first time I got tattooed here, it was by an incredible guest artist named Evan Naylor. To this day, the tattoos my friend and I got by him are consistently admired and complimented.Unfortunately, the tattoo I received by K is not only my worst tattoo, but it an absolutely abysmal tattoo all around. It has since been removed from both my and the artists social media. The people in this shop are all very kind, but certain artists are in entirely different leagues from the others.I now have a very poorly executed tattoo with witg elements that incorrectly overlap. Certain areas were messed up and ineffectively tattooed over in the same session. Im in the process of trying to get this piece covered, but unfortunately the one thing done correctly was ink placement/saturation, so itll be anything but easy.Tragic.

They answered the phone with hey or hello, not anything like Thank you for calling.... no idea who answered never identified themselves even after I asked who am I speaking with. If you cant answer the phone correct.I dont understand the attude i got about we charge 150 min, and there protocols like I didnt understand protocols for covid, finally ends up telling me to go on the web site or email. I didnt want to do that, I called I wanted to talk to an artist. Or make an appointment with one.So at the end of the day Im glad I didnt see there location, from my experience just on the phone I would not trust them to do any work on me or mine.If you want to be a 150 minimum act like a professional. Not impressed with the artist we got assigned. She had lots of attitude and was trying to talk us out of a simple design that we were willing to put in different places to make it work. We left and they lost 4 customers in that 15 minute moment.

I just had Paul do a portrait of my father who was CO-CO the Clown from Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Circus. I gave Paul a photo of my Dad and Pauls work was spot on, every detail was covered. It looked as if he took the picture and placed it on my back shoulder. The detail is amazing, it brought my Mother to tears as she said, His eyes are looking at me, it looks so real! I cannot say enough about the work Paul created for me. Witch City Ink supports artists that rip tattoos from other hardworking artists.I would avoid this place like the plague.I commented on their Facebook page pointing out the theft and they deleted my comments and then proceeded to tell me that it is ok to steal because all tattoo artists steal (they dont) and it is common practice (it isnt).It isnt worth the money or time to go to this shop.Theyve even admitted to theft on their own Facebook page, have a look.

This is a tattoo shop.. not a t-shirt shop... and they want to put their tattoos on you... your design wont work if they dont like it.. or its difficult.. bring the $$ cause they charge a lot too.If you want some huge tiger or fish covering your arm or back.. this is the place to go...

Multiple mistakes when setting up an appointment. I showed up during the scheduled time and they didnt even know I existed. The tattoo artist wasnt even in the store.

Natan listened to what I wanted in a phoenix (and it was a long list of likes and dislikes), and created a custom design to fit my body perfectly. 4 sessions in and its coming out beautifully!

Nothing great here. Everything in their books looked like rushed flash work. My guess is that they rush through the tattoos, since 99% of them are on tourists who wont be back to complain.

I have two tattoos by Jaesun and I am in the middle of a third project. Everyone there is friendly and extremely talented.

Don’t waste your time, they’re awful at booking appointments. They only take big pieces because it’s all about money to them. DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU WANT A SMALLER TATTOO

Tried to get a walk in appointment and they do not handle them well. I can’t speak for regularly scheduled appointments. Based on how my interaction was handled though, I wouldn’t recommend.

This place is a tourist trap. If you are looking for anything custom and not off their wall of basics then go elsewhere. Got blown off by them looking for an appointment. Will never go back.
