Very much enjoyed working with Guido/Lost Cowboy and the stellar staff at Dawns Custom. This is the very first time in over 15 tattoos that an artist scheduled a follow up with me.

Derek did our wedding tattoos. On top of being an amazing artist, hes just a generally awesome person. Guido too. 12/10 highly recommend

First off, awesome place. So artsy you cant stop looking at the walls. Nigel was AMAZE BALLS. he stayed late, did me AND my wife, Im sure everyone else is great but he was forking awesome. If you find yourself in Santa Fe and lacking ink, go here. Theyll take good care of you.

While visiting Santa Fe, my mother and I decided it would be fun to get matching tattoos (my mothers first ❤️). We were luckily fit in by Guido and Amellia and they did an amazing job. Not only did the tattoos turn out great, but the other thing that we loved was their friendliness. It may have seemed small but it really made the whole experience that much more memorable and fun. Thank you Guido and Amellia for helping to create and be part of such a wonderful and important memory.

I had a tattoo done by a man at Dawns, and he questioned my motivation for the tattoo and said that it was really dark. This was inappropriate and I wont go back there.

Love it . Very friendly. Wanted a tattoo spontaneously and they were able to do it. I was and still am happy and satisfied with what I got.

Amellia is AMAZING! I wanted to do a Disney a princess theme tattoo on my leg and it came out even better then I imagined it would! I am in LOVE with it and will continue coming back.

This was probably the best tattoo experience I have ever had. The atmosphere was really chill, everything was really clean and well run. Guido gave me so much confidence with his skill and his careful consideration of what I wanted. We were doing lettering in a tricky position and he really took the time and effort into making sure it was just what I wanted. It looks amazing and I am very impressed, and very relieved to have such a stress free experience. I highly recommend Lost Cowboy!

Very clean, professional environment. Guido was extremely pleasant to work with and very quick, with high quality work. If you want a tattoo in Santa Fe PLEASE use him. I have several tattoos from many shops so im not inexperienced and i have high standards.I highly recommend this one. My husband and I brought in some personal/meaningful designs that needed some adjustments. Guido did a fantastic job with them while retaining their original essence.

This is a fantastic shop with amazing artists. The shop is clean and brightly lit with a mellow, relaxed vibe. I met with Jason briefly and he quickly drew up exactly what I had been imagining for weeks in my head. During my appointment, he was very patient and understanding with me, making sure that I was comfortable the the design and placement of the tattoo. His technique is incredibly gentle (the least painful of all my tattoos!) and he has so many amazing stories to tell. I was so comfortable and relaxed during the entire process. Im so incredibly pleased with the design and artistry of my tattoo. This has been such a wonderful experience, I would not hesitate to recommend this shop and Jason specifically for anyone looking to get a tattoo in Santa Fe.

Guido is very talented, and it’s to be expected. He has traveled the world getting and giving tattoos. He is well experienced, professional, and 100% solid fantastic artist. PABLO was a surprise. He is young, and one of the best artists and tattooist in my opinion. You can purchase his art hanging on the walls of the shop, or get it directly on your skin. Loved both of these guys! Would recommend this shop 100 times over. So talented!

From the moment you walk in the door, Guido and Pablo make you feel at home. They pay very close attention to your wants and needs. They design your tattoo better than you ever imagine! They are meticulously clean and sterile. These guys add the tuxedo and red carpet to your tattoo experience making it an unforgettable memory! Excellent sense of humor and intellectual conversation! I couldnt be more happy with my experience. The shop was clean, bright, and relaxing. Good music playing. Jason was the artist that did my tattoo and he was amazing. He was calm, kind and gentle. I was expecting more pain that what I actually experienced. I had a difficult time articulating what I wanted in my design and he drew up a design that exceeded my expectations. I have gotten so many compliments on this tattoo! I highly recommend Jason and this shop for your next ( or first) tattoo.

Dawn is great at what she does. However she has become unreliable by canceling many of my appointments, including a make up session. Was also frustrated that she would start so late on me. Ranging from a 20 to 30 minute late start and only averaging 2 hour work sessions. Unacceptable and ended up dropping her. Found another artist who was able to tie in where Dawn left off and he did an amazing job for a longer period of time. So glad my sleeve is finally done. Thanks Luis for doing great artwork and being reliable.

Jason is by the far the best tattoo artist I have ever had the pleasure to tattoo me. He is super responsible and makes sure his clients are completely in love with the art before he starts. He is extremely imaginative and makes an idea into a masterpiece. I love my Death Star and am proud to have his art on my body. The session was immensely pleasant and comfortable. Next to no pain. He is completely relaxed and easy to talk to. Owen tatooed my aunt and is also very friendly, gentle, and efficient. I plan on coming back and hearing more about Floyd!

I recently got a portrait tattoo of my late wife on my arm. My artist was Amelia. The work was extraordinary, beautiful and fantastic. Amelia was a delight to work with - intelligent and wonderful to talk to while doing the work. She is a brilliant portrait artist.All the people there I interacted with were friendly, courteous and professional. The shop was clean and beautiful.A terrific experience!Kudos to Dawn and Amelia my artist!

We stumbled on this shop while on vacation a couple years ago and got a tattoo for our anniversary. They made time, and delivered amazing results. We came back to Santa Fe for vacation and had to be sure to make an appointment to get more art here! Everyone I’ve met is very friendly, professional, and do AMAZING work. We will definitely get something here every time we visit!

Can’t say enough good things about Bud Weeks.It’s as if he reached into my brain and pulled out exactly what I wanted and made it a tattoo.Super grate guy and a amazing artist.I was even a walk-in and he took the time to really understand what I wanted.The size and placement are perfect.I would strongly recommend Bud Weeks to anyone without a second thought.Definitely be going back to him in the future.

I got my first tattoo there (9/1/18). Jason was very nice and comforting through the whole process. Everyone there is very professional and nice. Super knowledgeable and friendly. If I get more tattoos or decide to add color to my first tattoo, I will definitely return to them. Oh, and most importantly, I LOVE my tattoooooooo! :)

Bud was a total rock star! My boyfriend and I walked in on our last day of vacation and were hoping to get tattooed. Bud hooked us up— he stayed after hours to finish our tattoos and came up with art on the spot. This was also my first time getting a tattoo and I felt super relaxed the entire time. 10/10 would recommend this place and getting some original ink from Bud.

Last minute tattoo recommended by the locals of Santa Fe. Got to Dawns about 1 1/2 hours before closing. Jeff was able to work in 2 small tattoos in an hour. He was funny and professional and fast! Very pleased with the outcomes. Only passing through Santa Fe but I would recommend Dawns to anyone.

I came to Guido with a tattoo design based on several images and ideas. He not only perfectly combined these and created what I imagined into one design, but made it into a unique and amazing piece of personal artistry. I am so proud of this tattoo now that it has healed and will be going back to Guido for more ideas in the near future. Also the tattoo healing ointment they sell at Lost Cowboy is definitely worth getting as it helped heal up my tattoo much faster than ones Ive used conventional moisturizers on. Thank you Guido!

My girlfriend and I came to the lost cowboy to get tattoos and it was a wonderful experience. Jason did our tattoos and he did a wonderful job. I got a date for mine and told Jason the wrong date, so I went back and he fixed it and now you can’t even tell that the wrong date was there. Jason was very cool and easy to talk to, it was a great experience and I would send anyone who asks me to the lost cowboy.

Sarah was great. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and very kind. She is also very talented, professional, and has great boundaries. My partner and I both got a small piece and both have plans to go back. Really an excellent experience.

I love my tattoos from Pablo Hernandez! He is an incredible artist and super easy to work with. I have a couple of his pieces on me and I will keep coming back for more. I love them all and look forward to my next one.

So I have 3 tattoos. One is a simple outline, one is a very detailed bear with scenery, and one its New Mexicos outline with a Zia in it. The first was done at a shop in Santa Fe that was very cheap in price and very nice quality. The second was done in Santa Rosa, CA in a very classic style tattoo parlor. The third was done at Lost Cowboy. Off all three shops, Im already planning my next for Lost Cowboy. They use a roatrty style tattoo machine and it is so pleasant. The healing process is very easy and comfortable. The price is high but it is 100% worth it. The atmosphere alone makes this location my favorite in Santa Fe. Both Guido and Owen do superb work.

Stopping at Lost Cowboy is always a pleasure and a must when I’m in town...the dudes are super kind and the energy is on point. I’ve gotten a few pieces from Jason and all I can say is he is the only artist I’ve met in a while that has a solid minds eyes and for clients ideas and whose work speaks for itself...as well, having an artist that drops stories and jewels of knowledge is much appreciated. Don’t half step..check out Lost Cowboy.

So heres the thing, I understand with Covid theres some new rules. But having your clients sit outside on the sidewalk for over two hours while the artist fiddled with designs with no offer of at least water is a bit much. Offer a chair. Offer water.Have change to break large bills on hand. I had to go up the street to the gas station.His work is beautiful, the colors are fabulous.That alone is not enough to have me come back.

Guido does beautiful work. Great guy to talk with too, while under the needle. Vibrant color and healed quickly... I look forward to my next Santa Fe visit, and getting more ink by Guido!!

Got 8 tattoos from the shop in a year and half span from the 3 artists that work there. I gotta say Owen Guido and Jason offer the finest work i ever seen in santa fe. The shop has a cool vibe, lots of sketches and designs to look at to get tattooed or inspiration for a custom piece.The artists are knowledgeable about the different styles of tattooing, easy to approach, and offer their own style of i what I feel is Southwest and NM tattooing. I feel other shops in the area dont compare really, except for four star tattoo, others just seem overhyped to me.
