Jody was amazing, talked everything through was just super cool and informative. He also made sure everything was sanitized properly and super clean. The girl working up front was also very knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to talk and ask questions to. This was my fourth piercing and by far the best experience Ive ever had. Felt safe, heard, and fully informed.

A little over a week ago I came to Talisman and had my daith pierced by Jordy. He was awesome! Very friendly and talked me through everything as he went. The actual piercing process was very quick and not painful (just pressure). So far, it is still looking and feeling great. Im excited to come back next year to swap out my jewelry!

KJ helped me change out my curved bar nipple rings, had knowledge about inverted nipples. She also noticed by navel piercings (top and bottom) were open, even after 3 years, and was able to slide a tapper right through. I was only charged for the new jewelry since she didnt have to repierce me.She was so professional, friendly, and all around amazing. I will forever be coming to her for piercings and jewlery changes. I strongly recommend her.Thanks KJ!!

I came in with a faith piercing freshly done in Arizona. It was giving me horrible migraines and I couldn’t open my jaw. Jordy was kind enough to take me in, clean me up, and explain to me best aftercare. Thank you Jordy!!!

Kaity was the most assuring and gentle piercer I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Both my partner and I came in for nose piercings and they got us in quickly on a Friday evening no less! I went here to get my nostril pierced and had a wonderful experience. Not only is the jewelry and piercing affordable but they do an amazing job. Jordy was my piercer and he made me feel safe and comfortable. He did an immaculate job finding the perfect spot for it. He also made jokes and was chatty which is always comforting when getting pierced. Overall I would highly recommend this place.

These people are AMAZING! Very detailed description and honest in their work. Everything is very clean and the jewelry is gorgeous, very good quality. My sister and I came in for matching Daith piercings. The girl was very honest and let us know her experience level and recommended one of her co-workers instead. We decided to do a forward helix instead and the girls were super patient with us and answered all our questions. We then decided on a second and they patiently let us stay a little longer to get those done. So thankful for the good experience, this is the only place we trust for piercings! 😊

I got my septum pierced today with Kaity! I was so nervous, but she made it the easiest, most comfortable experience. She explained everything carefully, and I was in out of there in about 30min! They had several jewelry options which was great. I didn’t have an appointment, but like I said I was there for about 30min and everything went great. Definitely recommend!

I got two piercings here. One over two years ago, one a little over a year ago. They were both done wrong. They would have never healed correctly, despite my best efforts to take care of them. Another piercer informed me that they wouldn’t have healed properly and they would always cause me problems if we didn’t re-pierce it. This was two years after getting my first piercing here. I would suggest finding somewhere else for your piercings.

I came here a few days ago to look around at the jewelry and I decided to get a piercing. They were extremely accommodating, everyone was very open and honest about the process. The people up front were so patient with my questions and offered their own insight on the process, which was so helpful and made me less anxious about my choice. Im a bit scared of needles, but the piercer was so gentle I didnt feel any pain after the initial piercing, which is so different from my past experiences. Im bringing my brother here next week to get his own piercings done, and Id recommend this place to others as well.

100% recommend!! My thigh has been done by Melissa, and Im planning to have her finish my whole leg. She is extremely professional and attentive to her clients and detail in her work. She is also very patient with my indecisivenes and accomodating. I got a helix piercing done by Jordy, and hes very helpful with explaining the process and getting the job done swiftly and painlessly. I had the most wonderful experience at Talisman. I came as a walk-in for some piercings. Service was quick and all the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I tend to get nervous for piercings and tattoos and something that helps me get over this nervousness is chatting with the person/people doing the tattooing/piercing and the person piercing me (Kaity) was extremely friendly and open to conversation which made me feel as comfortable as someone possibly could when asking to be stabbed with needles... Hah! I will definitely be recommending Talisman to anyone I know looking for a safe and happy place to get piercings!

Came here about a month ago to get my lobe pierced and my anti tragus shortened. The person at the front, KJ, was super knowledgeable and friendly about jewelry options and was able to chose a length that fit my anti tragus waaay better.Piercing went smooth and staff was super patient about me because i wanted a very specific placement for my lobe since i already have three others piercings there. Overall great and knowledgeable staff all around, I’ll definitely be returning!

Being a fanatic of body modifications such as piercings, I love going to Talisman for these services. My friends and I always go here together! The service is really welcoming and they are always able to take walk-ins. I also love the selection of jewelry!

Rude staff. Sub par results. Go literally anywhere else in Santa Fe.1st visit: Crooked septum piercing, they had to pierce it twice, so it was a very painful experience. (my first experience getting body jewelry)2nd visit: crooked bridge piercing after lining it up for 30 mins. Was asked does it look straight to you? several times.3rd visit: Was met by a genuinely rude and impatient artist, so I canceled the tattoo appointment.I even came by on the 13th and yall shooed me away like it was my fault the shop was busy. I know other locals that have had echoed similar experiences with me. This is over a 10 year span of my patronage.

Very chill and nice staff. Loved the atmosphere. Felt welcomed and Jordy was the one who pierced my septum. Sometimes piercings can be scary and Jordy was nice about it. Definitely recommend this place 🤘

Love this place, I have had three piercings here before so no issues there. The only issue was with the front desk. Sweet girl, but very meek and incredibly unhelpful. She tried to help my friends and I pick out jewelry that definitely didnt fit. One of my friends wanted a new septum all the girl did was barely glance at her nose and was like oh this one, as if she wasnt comfortable in looking, ok cool thats fine, but then my other friend was looking a two different sets of gauges and really wanted the sandstone pair. The front desk girl just awkwardly stood there and was acting like she didnt hear her. But when she said fine Ill take the pair in your hand, the girl was like ok Ill ring you up. Then comes me. All I wanted to do was to change the jewelry in my philtrum. But she picked out a post thats too short for my thicker lips. Its now pinching and digging into the underside of my lip, making it incredibly uncomfortable for even the most simplest tasks, like putting on chapstick. It would be wonderful for Talisman to at least rectify my issue

I absolutely love this place! Jorge is always the one to do my piercings (with the exception of one of my nose piercings. That was done by another employee from the shop, forgot who.). Hes done my Medusa and my nose bridge, and Im hoping to get my cheek dimples done soon (if they are able to. I need to call and see if they can). The shop is always clean, the employees are always super nice and professional, and always willing to answer any questions regarding the piercing, the jewelry, etc. I wont trust anyone else when it comes to my body piercings. 1000/10 for this shop.

Walked in and got my conch pierced. It was so quick and easy! Kaity helped me make sure that the placement of the piercing would be perfect when I switch out for a hoop and talked me through the process nicely. The person in front who helped me pick out my jewelry was also very sweet and helpful.

My cousin and I went in to get our cartilage piercings this afternoon. We were met with a very sweet woman who helped us pick out what jewelry we wanted. Mason was our piercer and was so kind and made us feel comfortable despite our natural nerves! He was super knowledgeable and friendly too. It was a fantastic experience, an extremely comfortable and clean environment, and we will absolutely be coming back to this shop. Ask for Mason, he did an awesome job!

I brought Kevin a detailed and complex design that I had created to memorialize my beloved dog. Not only did he work hard to keep the artwork true to my vision but he also made me feel welcome as someone who has a lot of scars. He did a great job and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome, his professionalism, the cleanliness and ambiance of the shop, and his incredible artistic talent. Can’t wait to get some stuff added on down the road. Highly recommend and will be back myself.

I am sad to write this, as I had hopes for this place but there were a couple HUGE issues I ran into here.One - the lady working at the front isnt super friendly and she had no interest in helping me find the right nose ring.Two (and this is the biggest issue) - I told them I have very sensitive skin and that I need to find a ring that is good for sensitive skin. They sold me a sand blasted ring that was curved on the inside, so it would cut my nose every few seconds and irritate it. After taking it to another store and having other professionals look at it, we suspect that it may not even be pure gold. This is a nose ring that cost $100, of which I cannot refund now.More attention and care to their customer wouldve been nice. Definitely wont be returning.

Nick pierced my septum today and it was a great experience. He was super personable, honest, and made me feel super relaxed. He did a great job and I love my new piercing! He even hooked me up with a deal. Great guy. Would definitely recommend seeing him for your piercing needs.

Just got my helix pierced yesterday with a 14 gauge and it was basically painless. the shop has such a friendly atmosphere and the employees even more friendly. Phil is amazing and I doubt I will be going to anyone else to get pierced. overall I loved my experience here and will be coming back.

As soon as I walked into Talisman I knew this was the right place - great vibes. Phil and the team at Talisman were awesome, really down to earth and very professional. Obviously passionate about what they do, you can tell they have the highest level of skill as a result. My piercings, just two cartilage piercings above my tragus, were done incredibly smoothly, which suited me because I hadnt had one for ages and was nervous! It has been two days now and my ear has been fine, it is obviously a great job. Much better than any other piercing Ive ever had. The jewellery they have on offer at Talisman is great too. I cant remember the name of the guy, but he was an incredibly rad and experienced piercer. Easy to talk to, and knowledgeable about so many topics. One of the few people Ive met that got into piercing for right reasons, and made getting my septum done a breeze. Will definitely come back!

Got my septum done today, way cleaner than any other shops I’ve gone to. I’ve previously had both sides of my nostrils done at a place that was far from as clean as talisman is. They make sure everything is sterilized and disinfected, and have a very friendly and chill environment. Definitely going back for another piercing in the future (:

I couldnt be happier with my experience. Went in with questions and concerns, unsure of what I wanted, left with my PERFECT new piercing and all my questions answered. Sin and Brittany were amazing; patient, knowledgeable, conscientious, professional. I am so happy with my Daith piercing and with the whole experience. Called them after, they were reassuring and supportive. Honestly, you couldnt ask for more! Spent @ $100 for piercing, jewelry, after-care products for 2 months. Well worth it. Afterthought- if you ride, wait until AFTER fall riding season to pierce cartilage. Early winter would be better time. HelmetsHurt

This was an amazing experience to say the least! My 6 friends and I were traveling from out of town and wanted to get tattoos together. We called same day and were all able to be seen by kasha! Nikki was awesome! This was my fifth tattoo, but first in Santa Fe. I called a few tattoo shops asking about hours and appointments to get a tattoo in honor of my beloved dog that passed away. Nikki was the only one who expressed sympathy and asked about my dog. Once I was in the shop, she spent a lot of time getting to know me and my dog to make sure we captured his spirit in the design. Not only was her work great, but her personality and attention to me and my dog made the experience special.

Im not the person who usually writes reviews, but in this case I wanted to make an exception. I was referred to Talisman by the vast majority of my friends whod gotten their piercings done there with amazing results! I also did my research and looked at reviews. Anyway, I went in on Valentines for a consultation with Phil, he was very professional and attentive to my needs. We had a long conversation about what I wanted, he asked detailed questions about what I envisioned. I showed him pictures I had found online that showed the look that I was going for. From there he took out several displays of jewelry so I would know my choices (which were many might I add!) I was very impressed by the quality and variation they had in stock. In the end we decided on a single dermal with a beautiful triad of diamonds. My original idea was slightly different but the concept we developed together with his expertise and experience was much better. There was a few people in front of me, but he assured me that he would be done as soon as possible and then we would get to work. I waited on a great leather couch and looked over the tattoo and piercing portfolios. By the time it was my turn I was sorta nervous, but Phil reassured me and was able to make me feel comfortable in a situation that definitely was not. When we got into his office he spent a good ten minutes making sure the the dermal was perfectly centered to my body. He encouraged me to ask questions about what he was doing and the process of getting the implant. He also showed me all of the equipment, all of which was completely new and in sterilized packages (like they have at the doctor or dentists office.) I went into his office with a worried expression and came out with the biggest grin on my face! Phil’s work was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for anything better or more fitting! I love my little dermal and smile everytime I see it. Before I left Phil gave me a long lecture about proper aftercare (as he should! super important) as well as a piece of paper going over everything. I also got some beautiful smelling lavender cleaning solution! It is now healing beautifully and I’m due for my one week checkup soon. I will return to Talisman and Phil for all my future piercing needs!

Ive gotten 3 tattoos and now one peircing here. The entire staff is super personable, professional and well educated! Kevin has not only done 3 tattoos for me but designed me a totally custom piece! Ive only gotten piercings here, no tattoos, so I can only speak to piercer Phils work, but he is incredible. I have gotten my nose and tragus piercings switched out for new jewelry, and I recently got a conch piercing. It was a great experience. Very clean facility, lots of great (and reasonably priced) jewelry options, and Phil does a fantastic job!

Had my ears pierced up to a 10g and paid over $100. I know I should have asked the price beforehand, but still. Ive gotten a number of piercings in my life and have never paid more than $40- and that was in a city ten times the size of Santa Fe. Really disappointed by this.Otherwise, the experience was great. Really helpful staff, great piercings. Just bummed I got bilked. Buyer beware.

I cannot describe how immensely happy I am with the staff and artists at Talisman. I went in to get my 3rd tattoo which was an original design and I couldnt be more pleased with the final results. Nikki is absolutely amazing! She took my design to a level that I could have never imagined, I was nearly speechless when I saw the finished product. I usually dont talk when getting tattoos but Nikki put me so at ease that I chatted through nearly the whole thing, I didnt even realize how much time had passed and I was shocked when she said she was done. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this shop! I will be back and I will tell everyone I know about it!

Stopped by a few times to downsize and upgrade piercings. Staff are always attentive and lovely. Sanitation is important to them (as it should be). Very pleased.

I went here for a septum piercing on halloween and had a great experience! my wait was short, and my piercer, syndesi, was great ! following the aftercare instructions they gave me, the piercing is already healing well after 2 days and barely hurts at all

Nicest people ever, took me in last minute to fix my piercing after I had to remove it for an MRI. they were so understanding and sweet.

I think this is a great place. They tell you a lot of information about what piercing your wanting to do. They only thing is when i got my piercing I had them help me put in a new jewelry in my ear. The man didn’t get out the right tools and tried doing it with his hands. He finally gave up after 5-7 minutes and sterilized the tools he needed to use. My ear is now throbbing and swollen from him trying to use his hands to get the jewerly out. I also don’t think it was the right gage he put in because it hurt when he was pushing it thought the hole and I’ve had this piercing for about 5 years. I would make sure he has all the tools he is using ready for when he starts.

Mason was awesome with my daughter and she got over her nervousness quickly. He was Very patient, kind, and knowledgeable about piercings.

Took my daughter to get here ears pierced for her birthday. The power went out...we had a team holding phone flashlights up to get the job done. Was a lot of fun. My daughter felt no pain. They are my go to for piercings.💜

I LOVED this place, Sam a female tattoo artist did a piece in progress for me and was so helpful and when i went to get a cover up on the ribs she was patient, and very understanding while working with me. I LOVED it when it was Phil piercing there, but now I see the place has been stealing pics of Phils work and claiming as their own. If I were still in Santa Fe I´d just follow Phil to his new shop and stay away from a piercer that claims to have experience but needs to steal pictures from other people.

Don’t waste your time. I called ahead to ask if they would pierce me with a guardian present. The person on the phone said yes and when we got there they asked for my ID I let them know I was under 18 and they said they would not pierce me . Wouldn’t come back even at 18 . Keep you employees aware of your policies we live in ABQ and we drove an hour away for nothing.

Called ahead to see if they would be able to put my surface bar back in. They said yes so I drove down from Los Alamos. When I got there they said they don’t deal with bars, only anchors and wouldn’t recommend anyone in Santa Fe- they tried to send me to Albuquerque. I called around and ended up at Ikigai which is the shop of there former piercer who was able to get it put back in. Their loss
