From scheduling to the finished product, Ron and his lovely wife do an amazing job at making you feel comfortable, welcome and confident. I brought my daughter in for her first tattoo and I got my first tattoo as well. We love what he did with them, and highly recommend their studio.

Like other reviews have said, you are never left out of the process, everything is very comfortable and almost Zen-like, you can just relax and let Ron create, he gives you a very peaceful tattoo experience along with beautiful art, and he combines expert artistic skill in design, color, harmony and balance of the piece with technical mastery, high quality inks (beautiful colors!) and best of the best equipment. Theres also a spontaneity and spark in his work that makes your tattoo completely unique, especially the details he puts in down to a minute scale. I will definitely be returning for more once this first one heals! From start to finish this whole experience has been uplifting and fun, and you couldnt ask for nicer, more professional people. For me, once I saw Rons gallery I knew I wanted a piece of his work, and when I met Ron and Jen, the hard part of the tattoo process was over. Ive been trying to find a trusted artist in spokane since I left my first artist behind in another state and Ron blew me away!The atmosphere he creates is so relaxing and creative. The service, professionalism, and friendliness of everyone there is fantastic. My visit was fantastic from start to finish!I gave Ron a few basic parameters for what I needed out of a very personal tattoo and the design he came up with was beyond perfect.Hes incredibly kind and patient (I had him move the placement on my tattoo and then decided he was right in the first place and wanted it moved back and he took it all in stride).His work is clean and he tattoos neatly and gently. What an amazing experience. Ive got a few tattoos, and worked with a new tattoo artist every time. Not anymore! Ron does amazing line work, colors, and his level of professionalism is unsurpassed. Ron will not tattoo something on you that he feels will not work/look right. Instead, he will continue to work on the stencil until its perfect. I went to Ron Lemay about a month ago for my first arm tattoo and he did an amazing job. The lines are so fine and detailed and I am headed back this weekend for the color. Im so glad I discovered this place! They run it right out of their home, and it is very professional, clean, and comfortable. Had a great experience! Ron has amazing attention to detail and technique. I did appreciate that on the consultation and the tattoo appointment he had his focus on me and my tattoo idea. It was just him in the office and his phone was going off, but instead of answering, he just let it go to voicemail because he was tending to a customer. I fell in love with a piece that Ron had sketched and shared on his Instagram, and after communication via email we set up a consultation. At the consultation, I met Jen and Ron who were both amazing, professional, and made me feel so at home. I even had to reschedule do to a work conflict, and they were quick to give me options and ensure me that it was okay. I finally got my tattoo today, and Jen and Ron both greeted me warmly, chatted with me during my session, and were beyond amazing. I couldn’t recommend any artist more!

Ron is the greatest artist Ive ever had the pleasure to put ink on me. Ive gone to Bullet Proof, Call of the Wild, and a place in bellingham, and he did the best job by far. He makes getting ink a better experience. I love the way he collaborates with you to get you exactly what you want. Hes a flexible artist when it comes to drawing up a sketch for you, and is completely open to redrawing it of it isnt what you want. He is the only artist I will recommend to my friends and family.

I came in for a floral piece, with only the specific flowers I wanted in mind. The rest of the art piece was left for Ron to expand on and design using his artistic mind and background. From the initial consultation to the date of the appointment, both Ron and Jen were amazing. Very unique, calm and inviting studio. Extremely clean and professional. I just finished my first appointment with him and my piece came out with crisp, clear lines, perfect shading and beautiful colors. I simply handed him a concept and he did the rest. The result was amazing! I will definitely be a repeat customer!Update: I went back to see Ron for another tattoo. We had a consult on 03/11/20 and I handed him many different pictures, doodles, and ideas to work with for the idea I had. He said he could work with them and we made an appointment. But because of Covid19, we had to push it several months out to Friday, 07/10/20. On Wednesday, 07/08/20, his wife (?) secretary (?) called to confirm the Friday appointment. On Thursday, 07/09/20, I got a text (not a phone call) from Ron (less than 24 hours from my appointment the next day). He said this is not how I tattoo, Im going to pass on this one. I only do artistic custom tattoos which I get 100% artistic freedom. I was extremely disappointed. He not only had since our consult in MARCH to say this, but their shop was temporarily down due to Covid19. So he had beyond plenty of time to review his appointments. Yet he cancelled via text less than 24 hours away from an appointment Id been waiting four months for. Im not going to be unfair and rate 1 star because I know hes talented. I was just very disappointed in how he handled that in an unprofessional manner. Not to mention that a PAYING customer wants what THEY paid for. If you want people to pay you for a surprise ink day, you should probably advertise that thats what youre all about. Last thing you should be doing is stringing along your customers for four months then dumping them when they get within 24 hours of their goal. Ron, please attempt to do better. Your way hurts feelings and creates disappointments.

I ended up at inked because I went to another shop and was def mistreated. Which worked out as a benefit because from the moment I pulled up, I was greeted by Ron and he made me feel comfortable and trustworthy. Went in to Ron to get my second tattoo. My first was not done by him and I had a terrible experience so I was a bit hesitant. My first tattoo (wrist) was very painful but this one (ankle) barely hurt at all!He was extremely helpful and careful in helping me choose the exact design and size I wanted. Very kind and talented man, great conversations and music the whole time. Also a very private location so you dont have to worry about distractions. I love the tattoo but the experience was definitely what pushed his work over the top!

I’m constantly passing out rons cards at my work and around town. I get so many compliments on the tattoos he has done on me and he is my tattoo artist for life. I was getting my first coverup and I knew it would take a artist to do it perfect,seeing alot of Rons art around town and following him on f.b seeing all his amazing tattoos I got ahold of him had a consult right away at first when I went I was very nervouse because the tattoo I wanted covered was a anklet like tattoo but it ment alot to me to get it changed because it was a memorial of my grandmother so I wanted it perfect and what it was I was not happy with it after the consult I was more comfortable he understood what I wanted.His studio is so clean keeps it very sterial he has beautiful art work he had done on the walls when talking to him he informed me he wouldnt start unless I was happy with the design.Now that I got it I am so very pleased and happy with it I knew it would be very painful but he made me feel very comfortable.The whole time he would ask if I am ok or need a break ,when finished I was so pleased it looked like a fresh tat ended up so beautiful not just a tatto a beautiful piece with beautiful colors in my grandmas memory,so greatful for him and I will get future tattoos and Recommend Ron to others.

By far the best tattoo experience Ive had! I was used to the vibes of a grungy, poorly lit parlor that makes you feel the need to go buy a motorcycle. Inked was a pleasant change, and stepping into his establishment I was positively delighted to find a creative and open studio that clearly belongs to what is first and foremost an artist. Fast and easy service. Fit 3 of us in with basically no notice. Great guy!Update: Tattoo was solid fill block letters. Over half of the color didnt take and its not because I didnt take care of it. 3 of us all got the same tat and all had the same problem.
