Came in for a consultation appointment with Dr.Adrian and was seen in under 10mins in the office. I really liked not having to deal with old school paperwork etc, just used the tablet to fill out forms. Dr.Adrian was very nice and recommended few products, I look forward to seeing the results and finally have a clear skin!

Ive had IPL for redness/veins around my nose, botox & fillers and it always looks natural - not overdone. Dr Adrian is great! He is so nice and his staff has been easy to work with. I am going for tattoo removal and it has been such an easy and pain free process. Expected this to be super painful but since he uses lidocaine for numbing it has not hurt one bit! Highly recommend seeing him for anything.

I was very anxious about this process initially since my removal site is in a sensitive area however, Dr. Adrian, along with his nursing assistants and office representatives took really great care of me!! They are one of the most accommodating, kind, caring, and professional teams Ive encountered. His work is very detailed and time efficient. When I came in for a tattoo removal consultation, Dr. Adrian listened carefully to my requests and was able to start the first laser treatment directly after the consultation. It was quick, painless, and easy. Super refreshing to feel seen and heard in the doctors office too. Ive been putting it off because I was worried about feeling vulnerable or facing judgement if I ever went in to get the operation. Dr. Adrian made me feel comfortable, he was professional and kind, and clearly more concerned with the well-being of his patients than anything else. I have been coming her for a couple years for my injections. Kat is absolutely amazing! The best treatment I have ever experienced from the detailed description of how she will be doing any fillers/botox and even marking where she will be injecting. She has many years of experience with skin and injections. She has suggested some other areas to work on with my face and i took her advice and have been in love with everything she has done! I will be getting fraxel laser from her soon as well. She does not disappoint, you will be extremely happy with her work!

*Update~ Im heading into my sixth session this coming Monday and wanted to give an update on my progress. I so appreciate Dr.Adriens steady approach- Im not in any rush per se to complete treatment- Id rather follow the schedule, give the area time to fully heal between sessions and get the results Im seeking. That said, the fading and progress has been so gratifying- I was sure it would take 10 sessions, but Im told It will be less. Staying on track with treatment, diligently following up with after care instructions and seeing my tattoo fade seamlessly has been so rewarding.After researching & interviewing several laser surgeons in the area I decided to go with Dr.Adrien for laser tattoo removal. I’ll be going in for my 3rd treatment in March but so far the process has been so rewarding. I’ve been wanting to get this done for years and already feel a huge boost of confidence seeing how much fading has taken place so far. I’m still in awe that it is so painless. The follow up care is equally important but I have no second thoughts about choosing the center for laser surgery (to get tattoo removal).

At the Center for Laser Surgery Dr. Thomas Adrian doesn’t push a patient to have treatments or procedures. He has a great eye as to what is just enough and what is unnecessary and won’t look natural. I trust his judgment explicitly and have never been disappointed! If you need a bit of help to look like a younger version of yourself, not like another person entirely, this is the place and the doctor I would recommend. Not only is he great, but all the staff is super kind, and efficient!

Dr. Thomas Adrian is simply amazing! I went with an acne problem which I had for the last 10 years and after trying 2 different treatment options 5 months later my face was completely clear, I am impressed with his work ethic and his knowledge! He also treats a ward on my feet which I had for a few years now and it’s almost gone after just several treatments! I am very thankful to him and his assistant Tanya, who is always helping me to prepare before Doctor, she is very helpful and beautiful person! And new front desk assistant- I believe her name is Emily, she was so nice and helpful to reschedule my appointment for 30 minutes late, since I was running late! This review is long overdue, as I have been absolutely delighted by the service here since my very first appointment in February 2019. The staff here are incredibly kind and understanding. I have received all of my treatments from Kathy, a dermatological nurse with decades of experience. Despite her years of expertise and knowledge, Kathy is incredibly accessible and easy to talk to. Every single time Ive seen her (five sessions so far) she has gone well out of her way to ensure my comfort and ease. The cherry on top is that their prices are also very reasonable for the DMV area.

Today was my first visit and I was coming ready for a facial. Their friendly staff checked me in quickly and Anna came for me within minutes. She was very kind and caring, and I felt as she was very honest with our consultation and made sure all my questions were answered. At the end, the facial I wanted was not the right option for me, but she suggested alternatives that were very well suited for what I was looking for. On my way out, I had a last-minute question about laser treatment and Melanie, the laser specialist, pulled me aside to address it without the need to come back for a different consultation. I am very happy with how I was treated and I would recommend this practice to anyone.

The front desk staff were really nice and accommodating of a last minute schedule change I needed. Dr. Adrian was extremely nice and explained the procedure I was there for very carefully and put me at ease. The offices and waiting room are pristine. Ive been a patient of Melanie Erbs (the nurse practitioner) for eight years. She is amazing! She is very meticulous and listens well to ensure the best results. Also, all of the staff at Center for Laser Surgery are super friendly. The whole environment is welcoming. Definitely ask for Melanie!

While Dr. Adrian treated me with great respect and provided me with excellent care, he spoke to one of his clinical staff members in an extremely degrading, dismissive, and rude tone. Seeing a doctor treat their employees so poorly made me very uncomfortable.

I have seen Melissa twice for lip filler now. Melissa takes care to explain the different options for filler and provide recommendations. She always begins by asking what I’m looking for, and then provides her own thoughts when requested. She does not do any upselling or pressuring and in fact has recommended less filler for my desired look (rather than just blindly agree that I could use a full syringe). Melissa is all about enhancing features (I.e., no crazy fish lips) and I trust her eye. She clearly cares about the client’s experience and satisfaction, and takes pride in her work. She also does her best to make the experience as pain free and efficient as possible (you’re provided with numbing cream in advance, so you’re not sitting there waiting for it to work). Prices are on par with others in the DC area, but they often offer specials (the new patient special is great) and take Alle (discount program). I strongly recommend Melissa and the practice, I’m so glad I found a go to injector in the DC area!

Do not come here for laser hair removal if you are black.The staff at this facility including the nurse who performed the laser hair removal were kind, but unfortunately that is not enough and nobody should experience what I did.My skin was burnt - raw spots and black scabs. I have never felt that level of discomfort and pain while having laser hair removal. It took me a while to write this review; Im still shaken by the experience.I followed their pre-treatment care to a T including applying the numbing cream and saran wrap ahead of service. I did communicate that I was in pain during the treatment, so multiple times, the nurse stopped to give me a break and applied ice packs. Ive had laser previously at a different establishment but had to find a new one when I moved states. I have never experienced the level of pain I felt here from laser before. Im so disappointment in the experience - after treatment was over, I laid on the table with ice packs feeling like a lab rat.Once I got home and saw the damage, I called to let them know that I was burnt. The nurse who performed the treatment gave me her cell phone number so she could view pictures of the issue and assist me with how to treat it. While she was kind and I appreciate her assistance, it should not have happened to begin with. Despite the issues with the treatment, I was not offered any kind of reimbursement.During the consultation visit, I did my due diligence asking about their experience treating black skin and getting detail on the type of laser they use. I was told it was an MD Yag laser. During my service, the nurse said it was on a low setting - the combination of setting and type should not have resulted in the experience i had.I think a red flag I missed was the nurse noting prior to treatment that my skin looked like it had not gotten laser treatments before. At that time, my hair had already reduced significantly after a number of treatments at my prior laser center. I just dont think she was familiar enough with my skin type/ tone to tell what it would / could look like post laser or to provide laser to me. I have since found another laser treatment center that treated me without any burning, scabbing nor issue.

I have been stuggling with acne for almost two decades and saw different doctors so it is easy for me to compare. Dr. Adrian is very attentive. He never rushes. My initial consultation lasted very long over 30 min which is unheard of (usually derm appointment last 5 min the most). I had enough time to tell all my treatment history, my concerns and talk about different treatment options. My subsequent appointments were still lengthy and I never felt rushed by doctor or staff. Office is very clean and spacious. Staff is always very friendly and caring. My friend recommended me to see Dr. Adrian and I recommend everyone else to see him!

Melanie is beyond phenomenal!! I have been to her several times for many different treatments and been satisfied every time. She is very friendly and knows her needle!! She is a perfectionist and it shows in her work. I highly recommend her! She really cares about her patients and it shows through her work.

I go to Dr. Adrian for serious dermatological issues; he is kind, patient, and explains everything in detail. It is reassuring to have a doctor who doesnt just type into a laptop during a visit. He also works magic with the CO@RE Laser to tighten and rejuvenate.Melanie is a top nurse practioner who does my cheeks and lips with fillers. She is very warm and friendly and its as comfortable as it can be while having needles stuck in your face.I recommend this office highly. Its easy to get appointments and its an attractive setting.

I have been going to both Kathy and Melanie for laser hair removal for 3.5 years now and have nothing but stellar things to say! The office is professional, clean, and I have almost always been seen on time. Unlike going to a spa for laser, here you receive top-notch quality with no gimmicks or fear of things going wrong. It may cost slightly more, but once you take into account that you are being seen by true professionals and arent adding on an extra $40-80 in tip every visit (like you would be expected to at a spa). Worth every penny and I look forward to my visits (which are now sadly only 2-3 times/year since the lasers work so well!)

Excellent facility with many patient treatment rooms and two waiting rooms. Dr. Adrian and his staff were extremely friendly and explained everything in detail. He did two small procedures during my visit and both were quick and relatively pain-free. I had as good an experience as one can have in a doctors office.There is a pay parking lot behind the building and a convenient Starbucks in front.

After seeing several other dermatologists over the years for what appeared to be an untreatable ailment, Dr. Adrian was able to fully solve my problem and did so with a specific strategy, educating me every step of the way. I have been coming regularly for a variety of skin enhancing treatments for a couple of years, and treatment of a scar. The front desk staff are very nice, always courteous and clearly on top of things. Theres hardly ever a hold and youre greeted the moment you walk in. Melanie Erb is excellent and very knowledgeable about different treatments - I highly recommend her! The only bad experience Ive ever had with Botox was when I went to a DIFFERENT clinic, and was sorely disappointed when the doctor barely looked at my face. At Center for Laser Surgery, Melanie instead takes time to listen to your concerns and will explain how a process works. In my opinion this place offers the very best care and service!

He gave me a free initial consultation and explained fully the treatments and answered all my questions.Although the treatments are painful, Dr Adrian has been understanding and responsive when I have had concerns and questions. I have been here three times for laser hair removal and I have noticed an immense difference. I’ve been to two other treatment centers and they were not able to treat me because of my skin tone (darker skin tones need a different laser). This is by far the best center for me. They have flexible evening hours and I’m usually here for 30-45 mins.

There was no wait to see Dr. Adrian. He was very helpful in diagnosing the conditions I came to see him about, and was able to treat 3 out of 4 of the issues on the spot. I made an appointment for 2 weeks for the remaining problem. I appreciated his direct responses to my questions and recommendations about treatment in the future.

Took my teenage daughter for a consult on laser hair removal on her neck. Consult was quick and we were both left with the impression that we would be in good hands with the RN and that my daughter was a good candidate given the type of hair and location. Sure enough it was painless and successful and she feels great about the result. Definately plan to follow up with additional treatments as necessary. Price very reasonable.

I had my laser hair removal consultation with Gloria at CLA after I had previous treatments elsewhere with inconvenient availability which got in the way of the efficacy of my results. Even though my previous place was less expensive, it ultimately cost me more there long term than it would here with CLA, due to more treatments because of missed hair growth cycles. So this place gives you results without really costing all that much as it seems.I really appreciate the fact that Glorias schedule is so flexible. I understand that she gets a lot of patients throughout the day so she is really making time for her patients as opposed to being booked out months like my old doctor because she only took a couple of patients a day.Gloria really seems to experiment with the wavelengths of the lasers to see how I reacted and took her time with it so she can yield results. I cant wait to get these treatments over with, but I will look forward to coming because the staff is very friendly and welcoming. You dont find that too often. They put you at ease and even offer numbing cream without any cost! There are a lot of places that charge you for numbing cream, and the whole experience makes me want to come back and work on more areas.

Dr. Adrian is currently treating me for acne. I have tried several different products and medications and he put me on Accutane which is perfect because it started working within the first two weeks! Great service and staff:)!

Professional and experienced staff, never pushy when it comes to recommending a procedure or skin care products. My big concern was whether they would be able to maintain my skin without giving it that “Death Becomes Her” look (cool movie though).Yet, I have been getting facials (once a month with the Master Esthetician Anna) and injections of Botox and Juvederm (once a year with the Nurse Melanie) for the last 2 years and I hear people saying I look young for my age (turning 40), thinking that I am lucky with genes.

I’ve been coming to CLS for about 30 years. I started with Dr. Robert Adrian just to have some skin tags removed. And then I was introduced to Botox and Dr. Adrian took care of that as well. Since his passing, I have continued to be a patient of Melanie Erb for Botox and other procedures. I know that Austin am in good hands as she was originally trained by Dr. Adrian. I also have had skin peels and facials with the esthetician. I always feel that’s I am in good hands!

I have been seeing Anna for medical grade facials, and I cannot recommend her enough. The treatments and her recommendations have helped my skin look healthier and brighter.

I had a Botox on my forehead and a week after I was breaking outs all over my forehead and they don’t go away. This never happened to me before when I got Botox in other places. The Botox was gone 2 month after! I don’t recommend them to anyone.
