Globe Electric Tattoo

I’ve now had two appointments with Eric, and have a third coming up. I have been absolutely thrilled with everything about the experience. Eric has been great to work with through the design phase, and has helped me plan out a full sleeve tattoo. The work he has done has been excellent, and I have already received numerous compliments on the quality, color/shading, and crispness of the tattoo.Where Globe Electric really sets its self apart is the experience outside of the tattoo. They have a beautiful shop and take every precaution to ensure an extremely clean and hygienic environment. Eric did my first ever tattoo and let me know everything to expect up front. After the work was done, they provide clear aftercare instructions, including some travel size soap and lotion to make sure you have what you need.I even had a part of my design that Eric referred me out to someone else in town for because they were good in that particular style, which was greatly appreciated.My sleeve will take at least a few more appointments and I am excited to be working with such a great artist for it. They do have a long wait to get on the schedule, but there is a good reason for it and they are well worth the wait!

Susan did my hand and my thigh tattoo and I’ll definitely be getting more work from her in the future. She has great technique and is not heavy handed, some of the most comfortable sessions I’ve had and I’m nearly covered in tattoos. She has a great artistic mind and is lovely to chat with, or not if you don’t feel like talking.The shop is impeccably clean and incredibly professional. Highly highly recommend.

Susan did both of my thigh tattoos. She is an incredible artist who was able to bring my ideas to life, and even better than I imagined! Not to mention, the shop is super clean and everything went super smooth from consult to completed piece.

I can’t recommend Globe Electric highly enough. I just got my 3rd tattoo from Eric, my 10th tattoo overall. In terms of professionalism and overall quality Eric is easily the best artist I’ve worked with. It requires some patience to get on their schedule - but worth it, in my opinion, for something that’ll be on your body forever. He has welcomed me, made me feel comfortable and helped make my vision come to life. Eric is the epitome of professional! He will give it to you straight, and be upfront. If he cant do it, he will tell you he cannot do it. That is very much appreciated in this industry. Magnificent!First, the studio is unlike any other studio Ive seen. It has a relaxing, yet professional feel to it. As soon as you enter, you can see the attention to detail, whether its the hidden pocket doors that can be used to isolate your particular studio for complete privacy, the amazing art on the walls, or the cleanliness of the setup. This is a place where truly stunning body art is created.Second, Eric is incredible, both as an artist and a person. The examples on the site speak for themselves and the same attention that is present in the studios design is meticulously applied to Erics work.You may have to book several months, out, but it is worth the wait.

Eric has been tattooing me for the better part of the last decade #2020. I’ve been tattooed by different people in different countries. Different styles, different techniques. My first appt with Eric was a walk in Georgetown a few years back. We vibed. He made me comfortable. It was a solid connection. This was the first time I felt that comfortable in a tattoo studio. I work in the service industry, and I respect so much creating a comfortable/ clean/ professional space for people to practice their creative passion. The full experience. Welcome surprise to have tattoos done at Globe! The soothing ambience, personable atmosphere and setup are second to none! Eric & Sue do not disappoint. Their extensive knowledge of their craft and excellent work makes this a must visit spot. Eric has done a total of 5 tats for me so far.

I got my first 2 pieces from Eric over at Jinx Proof in Georgetown. When I went in for a third at Globe Electric I was pretty stunned by the shop. It looks and feels more like a massage therapy studio or doctors office. Eric explained they were the first tenants for the space and he wanted it to be relaxing and minimal, not covered in knick-knacks like basically every other shop Ive been to. The idea worked. Globe Electric is unlike any other shop out there. Veterans looking for Eric and Susans quality wont be disappointed in the extra mile they went to customize the shop, and people brand new to ink will feel welcome and treated professionally.

I had the best experience with Susan. Truly a fantastic artist and individual from start to finish. I cannot articulate how lucky I felt to have booked an appointment with her! They are more than worth the wait!

This is an awesome shop owned by a married couple who have both been tattoo artists for decades. I am in the process of getting a tattoo by Fernando Prudencio here, and the whole process has been great. He has taken a lot of time to ensure I am really happy with the design and end result. I have only had one other tattoo experience to date, but based on this one experience I highly recommend all the artists in this shop as their line work and creativity are traits all looking for a tattoo should have at the top of their lists.The atmosphere is relaxing with privacy, very clean environment, good music, and accessible location. This shop is appointment only as well, so you dont have to worry or be distracted by people walking in and out the whole time. I may post a photo once the tattoo is completed, but I need two more sessions at this point.

Best tattoo shop in the DMV! Owned and operated by two of the nicest, coolest folks, who are also great artists! Every one of my tattoos have been done by Eric or his wife, and they are amazing. If you need work done, and youre not sure where to go, look no further than globe electric!

Eric and Sue simply provide an amazing experience. In a world filled with same same tattoo shops, their appointment only policy ensures that your session is undisturbed and all about you. After 4 sessions, they are closer to friends than anything else.

When i asked for a tattoo appointment, i was told by the manager to go elsewhere because they are totally booked for about 6 months. the message to me was crude, short, dismissive, and unprofessional. so, yeah, i wont be waiting 6 months for an unprofessional tattoo, but thanks! glad i found out this way how you work

This is a very clean and beautiful shop .. the owners are both very nice and professional .. the work I see came out of there is beautiful pieces of Art.. and Fernado the artist I work with is so professional and talented .. His attention to detail makes in his pieces are beautiful .. I highly recommend this shop ! And if you have to wait to get in it is totally worth the wait !
