Long Road Tattoo studio

Ive been to Long Road several times now to have my first tattoos done, and each time has been clean, professional, and all-around phenomenal. Mila is my artist and shes the best I could ask for, hands down. She is super cool, knowledgeable, and an incredible artist. Her work has landed me dozens of compliments since we got started, and Ive fallen in love with my sleeve from day one. I cannot recommend Long Road Tattoo highly enough!

Anthony is one of the best artists I’ve had do work on me! The colors pop beautifully, the detail is on point, I love everything about my tattoo! So excited for him to continue my sleeve!

I followed Mila’s IG for a while before I reached out to her for my first tattoo. Her designs and use of color are amazing. She’s really talented and very detailed oriented. We communicate mostly through email and she’s very responsive. I worked with her on the design it came out exactly the way as I pictured it. It is perfect!!!Yes, ribcage tattoo hurts but Mila did her best to make me feel comfortable.The studio is very clean and comfy too, in case you’re wondering.I had a great experience! Thank you Mila for giving me this beautiful tattoo ❤️

I’m a gal who “collects art” in the form of tattoos (a phrase Anthony at Long Road shared with me today) by going to various artists in different cities when I visit. It brings me such joy and creates an even more special memory, too! I found this shop through these reviews on Google and figured I couldn’t go wrong based on the raves folks had written.I’m super glad I followed the Google Brick Road to this second floor walk-up shop on 9th. Bright, spacious, and clean studio. Booking was super simple and completely via email, including putting a deposit down prior to the appointment. I showed up and Anthony was kind, professional, and welcoming, greeting me with a printout of my design and asking some clarifying questions. I filled out all the forms via tablet and by the time I was done, he was set up and ready to go.This is my 11th tattoo experience and I can’t recommend Anthony enough. We placed and replaced the design on my arm-he was more than happy to work with me on that without any hint of annoyance or anything negative to say about it (I’ve had other artists who’ve been different-whomp). He is easy to talk to, yet will also happily tattoo without conversation. The playlist was random in the best ways, and he was quick and precise in his work.With the new ink complete he asked about adhesive allergies, wrapped me up, and went over after care. Reasonably priced and a great experience all around. Thanks so much, Anthony! Head to Long Road, friends! You won’t regret it. :)

Had an amazing time with Mila! She was incredibly clear, thorough, and professional through the whole process. From the email consultation through the tattoo itself, and all the aftercare instructions, she was supportive the whole time. The studio is a beautiful, welcoming space. And the tattoo itself - everything I could have hoped for and more! Mila rolled with my ideas and her line and shading work is gorgeous! Cannot recommend her work enough and will absolutely be back for more!

To be completely honest I wish I could give them more than 5 stars Anthony has done my last 4 or 5 tattoos I first went to him when he was in Woodbridge and have followed him all the way to DC NO ONE will ever tattoo me but him amazing artist and all around good guy.

I could not be happier with my experience working with Mila on my latest tattoo! Ive walked away from other tattoo studios and artists in the past because they were dismissive of me and/or my ideas; Mila is the polar opposite of that. Her communication and professionalism were both absolutely unparalleled. I asked a lot of (frankly, pretty stupid) questions, and she answered all of them thoroughly and kindly. I was very nervous about pain because my previous tattoos were so painful I cried, but her application was so gentle that I almost fell asleep several times. But Im glad I stayed awake, because Mila was also just so much fun to talk to. I would make up a tattoo idea just to get to go hang out with her again. She also provided a referral for another artist who she thought would be a better fit than herself for a tat idea my spouse is considering.Finally, Im also super happy with the tattoo itself! Its super cool and looks amazing- exactly what I asked for. Im excited for the recent warmer weather so I can start showing it off more!I will definitely be coming back to Mila at Long Road Tattoo for my next ink!

I was lucky enough to have Mila tattoo me back in December with one of my favorite flowers, Henbane. I had a difficult time finding a tattoo artist whose style matched what I was looking for since I moved to DC. Not only is her artwork amazing, but shes just a good person with great musical taste. Thankfully no one realizes its a deadly flower... I just keep getting comments on how beautiful the tattoo is.Attached is the tattoo after healing. The healing process itself was quick and easy and thats largely due to Milas after care instructions.

I got my first tattoo here with Mila. The entire process was collaborative, thoughtful, and seamless. I was able to work through the design and ensure it met my expectations prior to coming into the studio.The studio space was clean and welcoming and Mila was great to work with. She is a very talented artist and was also very clear with setting expectations for the tattoo experience and aftercare. I highly recommend coming here for a tattoo!

Got some work done to a preexisting lower leg sleeve (mix of adding new elements and covering up others). She took a tattoo that wasn’t flowing together and somehow made it all work. I’m so impressed and so thankful to her. Mila is a real one. As other reviewers have mentioned, she’s clear, fair, relaxed, and does incredible work. Safe to say I’m only coming back to her, from here on out. Advice: if she has a long waitlist, know she’s worth the wait. 👍

I just got a cover-up tattoo done here by Mila and it came out AMAZING! I am so happy I dont have to look at the old tattoo anymore. Mila is very upfront about what to expect during the session, and she is very kind and professional in all her correspondence. I have another session scheduled and I cant wait! Shes very easy to talk to and the session goes by quickly and smoothly with as many breaks as you need. The location is easy to find and the studio is clean and comfortable. You have to knock to get in, so it feels extra safe too! I will definitely get more tattoos from Mila in the future! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

Ive had numerous appointments with Mila over the last couple of years and I recommend her to everyone who compliments my tattoos. Her communication, standards, and artwork are always 100%, not to mention how awesome she is as a human being. As a person who is very detail oriented and always has a specific vision, I know Im in the best hands with Mila.

I got a really spectacular orchid/wren tattoo with Mila at Long Road. The experience was wonderful: the space is comfortable and contemplative and my artist was so, so gentle and skilled and was always mindful of my comfort. Ill definitely be back!

Can I just say that Mila is the most amazing tattoo artist that a person could ever ask for? I couldnt recommend her more! She is probably the most gentle and professional artist Ive ever been to and I have quite a bit of tattoos lol. She also provides a safe and comfortable environment to get tattooed in and cares deeply about every person she tattoos. I look forward to getting more tattoos from her in the future!

Anthony is the best. He communicates very well and make sure your tattoo is what you want. Through out the tattoo process, he checks in and see if you will need any breaks. Studio is very clean also.

Very beautiful tattoo studio! Got an amazing tattoo on my arm and I am extremely happy with how it looks! The studio has a chill underground, but welcoming, vibe and Anthony made sure I liked the design before we started. Overall, I’m very pleased with my appointment and I’m looking forward to going back again soon for another one 😊
