Rachael at Gold Fox was incredible. I booked a same-day rook piercing, and I also needed a replacement post for my existing helix. Rachael was very patient and comforting while I was nervous, and took a lot of time to make sure the jewelry we picked was perfect. She also walked me through each step of the piercing as she did it. Highly recommend!

Everyone at this shop is incredible, but Derek was the one who did my piercing and Im pretty sure hes a ninja. Both mine and my moms piercing took minutes. Neither of us even really noticed the actual piercing until he was done.The shop is also really clean and welcoming. I personally loved the decor all over.Im definitely coming back if I am in the area again, and itching for a new hole in my face 🤣

Nothing but 5 stars across the board! Their shop is gorgeous, inviting, and beautifully curated with the vast jewelry selection they have. It is also extremely clean. I went in for a vch to be done by Liz as an apprentice piercing, but her confidence and her skill in doing it made it seem like she’s done hundreds of them.Liz and Rachel both are so kind, professional and make you feel so calm that by the time you get the piercing you realize you had nothing to worry about. I believe I even said “oh that was it? We’re done?” Afterwards. They educated me on the aftercare and welcomed me to reach out with any questions.Overall could not have asked for a better experience from the second I walked in to when I left, and I look forward to booking more piercings in the future!

The appointment was long, but that actually made me feel very comfortable. I did not eat before my piercing, but we got that taken care of.I actually had my conch pierced elsewhere and it was crooked and super painful. This time, I literally cant feel it unless I touch it. I think there was a lot less trauma to the area.Everything was very clean and they were patient as I picked out the earring I will wear for two months (a big deal to me).I will return when I am ready for another piercing.Liz did the prior conch. FANTASTIC.I got a floating helix done by Rachel and I love it. Doesn’t hurt significantly. Counseled me on when I to do my down grade and jewelry. I love this place and it makes piercings fun!

So happy with my piercings and visit here! Also very glad I came here instead of a tattoo shop which I have done in the past. Madison was very informative, professional and overall joy to be around. They have a beautiful selection of jewelry and all staff were so welcoming and friendly.

I’ve gotten two piercings here now and had nothing but a good experience both times! I first went in for my naval with Rachel and it took only a few minutes and went smoothly and then again with Derek for a second lobe and had nothing but a positive experience!

I had the best experience here, my piercer Liz did an excellent job with my nostril piercing and made sure to double check with me for every little detail during the process. Will definitely be coming back soon!!

I wish I would of known about this place sooner. They have a great shop that is clean and beautifully decorated. Great service and very sterile with the piercings. (A lil spendy but thats part for the course with tats and piercings in Alaska.)

I havent worn earrings since I was a child, because every time I try, my ears become irritated and infected. That was before my partner and I visited Gold Fox. First off, everyone we encountered was lovely and knowledgeable. Derek (our piercer) educated us on the kinds of jewelry they had to offer, and which would be the best for my skin. The piercing itself was a breeze. The jewelry they carry is high quality and hand-made in LA ( @BVLA ). We had a wonderful experience, and 24 hours later I have zero pain and no inflammation. Thanks Derek and Gold Fox; we will definitely be back soon!

Gold fox is easily the best piercing place i’ve been to. rachael is so so sweet and helps the process be so relaxing. they’re also very responsive on instagram and i appreciate them so much because i always have an irritated piercing (due to my own accord/sensitive skin) and they always help me figure out steps to getting it better!! i’ve never felt nervous about getting pierced by them. they really care about their customers!racheal has given me two conches, and two upper cartilage piercings!! i let her even choose where to put 3 of them 🥰🥰so sad i moved out of state and can’t go to them anymore but they’ve left a lasting impression and i highly recommend them to anyone!

I’ve had multiple piercings and permanent jewelry done between both Liz and Rachel and I refuse to go anywhere else in Alaska. They’re both so sweet, compassionate, and professional when piercing or installing permanent jewelry. The team ensures their clients are comfortable and have a clear understanding of procedures taking place. I’ve placed a custom order for jewelry and the process couldn’t be any smoother thanks to their help. The studio itself is also very clean and is a calm environment. Scheduling is very straightforward, I’ve never had any issues. I’ve recommended Gold Fox Piercing to many friends and coworkers and will continue to do so as long as I’m in Alaska. By far the best piercing studio I’ve been too,and I have quite a few piercings. Not only are they professional but also very friendly and patient; and that says a 1000 words to me. I travel for work so finding new places can be challenging, I initially came here for permanent jewelry then a couple piercings and multiple jewelry purchases following, all with great experiences. Strict rules and appointment based only for any need but it’s all for better client experience as it is a small place, If you respect the rules you will have no problems it’s not hard!Highly recommend this business, keep up the great work and thank you for being good to me the last year, I will def miss y’all as I move on to my next work assignment location.

I just had my septum pierced by Rachael yesterday & it went so smoothly. Gold Fox is the only place I trust and refer folks to for all of their piercing needs. Rachael has done 3 piercings and one jewelry change for me, Liz has done one jewelry appointment/change for me. Every experience has been great. I’m so appreciative for the professionalism and care they bring to the piercing scene in Alaska (they have a sister studio, Fox & Fern, in the valley for those not wanting to make the drive!). The booking process makes everything very clear and my appointment was exactly 20 minutes (as the website said it would be). I know I can reach out with any questions or concerns as I heal and beyond. If I decide to torture myself with anymore piercings, I will be back to see Rachael again ☺️

Got my nipples pierced back in may with derek. he was very professional, we had a good discussion about anatomy and healing and placement, then he explained to me what he was going to do. very calm environment i felt safe and listened to the entire time, then he gave me a card with the aftercare instructions as well was what jewelry i had in and healing time. really love this little shop and i’m hoping to come back soon !!!

Rachel and her crew were absolutely amazing when it came to my second nose piercing. They were super helpful and patient when it came to me choosing jewelry so I left completely happy. I did have to order another piece and they were incredibly helpful and walked me through everything, and got me in as soon as possible once it came in and everything was healed. I love my nose chain and could not recommend a better place to go. The booking system was super easy and let me know exactly what to expect when reserving. Y’all are the absolute best!

I’ve been wanting to get a helix piercing forever but I just didn’t know where to go. On my visit to anchorage I booked an appointment for gold fox piercings on a whim and I do not regret! The aesthetic of the building is so soothing relaxing, great for the nerves. My wait time was minimal maybe 5 min. There is many selections of jewelry, titanium and gold all very beautiful. I had Liz she was very nice and talked me through the process. the piercing itself was very smooth not even painful. I definitely recommend this place over a big parlor. Additionally it was very clean!!

These guys are the whole lock and key! Their piercers have done more than a dozen of my piercings (custom industrials, tragus x2, stretched lobes, bridge, forward facing nostrils x2, traditional nostrils x2, septum, venom tongue piercings and vertical labret. I recommend that literally everyone should check them out! Wonderful selection of threadless, internal and external threaded jewelery. Easily the best in the business!

Gold Fox Piercing is my favorite piercing shop in Anchorage. Everyone Ive come into contact working there is friendly, professional, and puts you at ease right away.Their jewelry selection is fantastic and they do great pricing work. Ive only been by for a few things, but I highly recommend them and I will be going there for my next pricing.

I cannot recommend Gold Fox Piercing enough. I’ve seen Rachel for multiple piercings, new jewelry for existing piercings, and a custom order for a bvla piece I loved. She is kind, considerate, and an absolute artist. I’ve recommended her shop any time people compliment my piercings or jewelry. Booking online is so nice, you can pick exactly the type of appointment you need because there are very clear detailed instructions and information on what to book for what you’d like done.

My daughter Gretchen and I have used Rachel for four years for several different kinds of piercings. Each experience has been awesome. She is patient, kind and understanding, especially when my youngest backed out of her 2nd ear piercing. She was also great when my nose ring caused an issue, she sized me up in jewlery which solved the issue. We plan to continue to use Rachel for several more piercing.

I had a great experience with Derek. He was very knowledgable and upbeat. The studio is clean and careful sanitation measures were followed, which made me less nervous haha! I will definitely come back here. They have a great selection of handmade solid gold jewelry as well.

Rachel is the absolute best. She is kind and extremely knowledgeable. I always feel like I am in safe hands getting a piercing from Rachel. It is hands down the only business that I will go to in Anchorage for my jewelry and piercing needs

The studio is clean and appealing. Rachel did a great job with the piercing, but was very rude and condescending when I went to schedule the follow up appointment (see below). The only other negative aspect is that jewlery options are very limited.The issue that arose was clearly a communication issue. Instead of receiving a coutesy call, I received an email notification that my appointment had been canceled by the business with a vague note stating that I scheduled incorrectly. I called and was concerned because I had booked two services, a downsizing and additonal piercing, that there would only be one completed at the time of the appointment. Instead of simply stating that only one appointment time was needed, I was ridiculed and belittled for booking two. I jokingly asked of others had made this mistake (honestly easy to make) trying to make light of it and the response I received was basically you would have to be stupid to not understand the instructions. Its a shame because I really enjoyed my first appointment with Rachel and she really is a good technician. Shes built a business to be proud of and hopefully was just having a off day when she answered the phone for me.(Update: I wouldve originally recommended this business, but due to the response received below, I would recommend looking at other options before booking here).

Just absolutely the best piercers in Alaska. They have done all of my 13 piercings and I will not go anywhere else. Both Liz and Rachael have helped me trouble shoot my problems and responded quickly - upsized me for free when I when I exerperienced swelling and explained healing processess. They explain the whole process of getting pierced and are affriming in the whole experience. Ive wanted some piercings that are doable on my antomy or are not safe pericings and they have taken the time to explain why that is. Cant speak highly enough of them. Genuine people, quality peircers, and folks that care about the community. They dont cut and corners and are the highest quality. Also just nice people:)

I went to Rachel for a cartilage piercing. This was my first time having anything pierced as an adult! I felt completely at ease with Rachel. She is obviously very experienced and detail oriented. I got my naval pierced by Liz and it seemed like she didn’t know her way around naval piercings. She poked me more than once and one of those times it took at least 2-3 minutes for her to get the needle through. It felt like she was wiggling it around quite a bit, and even I could tell that it wasn’t right. She seemed pretty frustrated but still continued until the needle came through and then decided to tell me it was “way too deep”. I was going to tell her never mind on the piercing but we had already paid a pretty significant amount of money and there’s no refunds. I at least think a discount should’ve been offered for that, but it was not. We went back for a shorter bar and she gave us one way too short. We will not be returning.

I got my conch piercing with my sisters and everyone’s turned out so amazing! Rachel was so kind and so was her assistant Sunny! Best piercer I’ve been to!
