Got mine and my husband’s wedding band Tattoo from KB ThaHustlah and lemme tell y’all it’s my favorite tattoo that I have! She free handed our tribal and we LOVE IT! Til this day, we get compliments on it. She also did 3 of my other tats too. So if y’all are first timers, Unique Ink is the place to go!

I give them a 4 star rating, bc they were able to get us in the same day we called! Only problem I had was the way they covered up my tat. Other than that, it was an easy fix & I love how my tattoos turned out. Recommend going! They gave me $100 off for my next tat.

I feel like I got ripped off & others are saying my tattoo was way over priced. I paid 350$ and it did not even take a full hour, I know it’s charged by the piece not by hour but this does not look with 350$. Make sure you do your research or take your time finding artist! The artist didn’t even tell me his name.

Trashed my leg. Highly do not recommend going in for tattoos. Extremely unsanitary. I had a leg piece done and following day I had an infection. The Leg tattooed, I couldnt walk on for days afterwards and swelling larger than a grapefruit. Please save your skin and never go into this location.

Good business, but I would recommend that the artists let people know what their rules are as far as booking with them and them taking your money right away. Theres an artist that I booked with, a month in advance, and you would think from all the artists Ive been to with all my tattoos, that the deposit is refundable unless its within a week of your tattoo date. I wasnt told that before I booked, he basically took my money. Then when I had to cancel due to the fact that I ended up having to be out of the country during that time, he refused to refund me my deposit, and had a rude tone, when I nicely suggested I shouldve been made aware as a proper custom of a tattoo artist.

Rick was incredible. We called late for a last minute tattoo as a little something to remember Alaska by. He and Roberto stayed way late to finish 4 tattoos for myself and my family. The attention to detail that Rick had for my tattoo was impeccable. He really took his time to make sure every little detail was perfect, even though the shop had already closed and it was late. Overall the shop was clean, the artists were awesome to work with, and the experience as a whole was a very positive one. I was blown away by the friendliness and patience of the staff here, particularly Roberto. He look me as a walk in on a pretty complicated piece and stayed hours after the shop was closed completing it for me. The attention to detail he has is impeccable and he worked with me very well rearranging things and angling things different ways until everything was perfectly symmetrical and how I wanted it. I couldn’t tell you how many times we reprinted stencils and replaced them until we both agreed that placement was perfect. This was the best experience I’ve had in a tattoo parlor by far, and you can tell how great of a work ethic Roberto has by the pride he takes in his pieces of art. If you’re looking for quality work that’s not going to break the bank and artists that pay attention to detail, this is the place to go!

I got a small tattoo here 3 years ago to this day. i hope the artist improved, bc i still don’t think it was worth it. it’s fading and a blue black, after i took proper care of it. added a star bc the artist was super nice, and the shop itself was cozyedit: dropped to one star for that snarky reply, i didnt care to search your store up until now. humble yourself. I can name and shame if you want xedit 2: It was the store owner who tattooed me, definitely don’t recommend now. especially with that unprofessional, insecure little boy attitude, and a bad tattoo job :)❤️

Had an awesome experience at unique ink yesterday. Roberto is an amazing artist and puts every bit of effort he can into his pieces. He did a tattoo that thought was gonna be 3 or 4 hours but turned out to be 8 but kept at it as though it was going in a show. I went to Unique Ink for the first time for my fourth tattoo. They are by far the best!!! Roberto and Delaney went above and beyond for myself and my friend. They had us email our pictures and ideas which they used to create amazing art. Not only was their customer service quick and through the rough amazing, they also provide numbing cream for thos with lower tolerance. The tattoos themselves are top quality. I highly recommend unique ink and all their artists!

Way out did my expectations! Roberto is by far the best in Anchorage. He went above and beyond my needs and wants and my tattoo came out amazing. Did a 5 hour session and he took into consideration of what I wanted and listened to what I asked for. I could not be anymore happy with it! Amazing work!!!

A few days ago, my buddy and I went to get tattoos with each as something to do before we go off to college. We didnt know anything about tattoos so we didnt know what to expect. We walked into Unique Ink for a walk in. After waiting for a few minutes, we were greeted and asked what we wanted and were told how much it would cost and what to do. After getting our designs done I went back to get my tattoo. Our artists was Vanna. She was amazing. It was my first tattoo so I was obviously nervous, but Vanna helped me get through it and she did an amazing job on my tattoo and my buddys. She talked with me and was very kind. I would definitely recommend getting a tattoo from Vanna and Unique Ink. They are very kind and have a great staff. This is a great place for people looking to get their first tattoo.

Roberto and his artists have done 9 of my tattoos. Everyone of them is beautiful and everyone of them was done perfect to a T. From beginning to end my experience in the shop has always been very professional, very courteous, and very helpful. The shop is always very clean and all the artists are amazing! Ive been getting tattoos for years. Its always a challenge to find a reliable artist and shop that you can count on. Roberto has some of the best talent in the game. Hes done a couple black a grey pieces for me, with flawless linework and shading. Hes definitely my go-to artist now. Id recommend this place to anyoneT

I got a tattoo last Saturday by David Lawrence. I requested him to develop a work from images on internet, took him 10 minutes and David came back with a drawing he said he created. I agreed and got it. However the next day I found out that the drawing is not his work, it is actually on a commercial product and on internet though not readily available like other images thats why I missed it. This is probably the reason he hesitated when I asked to have the digital drawing.Im not crazily mad at the shop because part of it my fault for making decision without much research, but you must be honest with your customers since it does you no good when lying. Plus its wrong to take ones work and say its yours.I like my tattoo, its just not unique as I wanted. The shop is clean.If my tattoo looks great after healing maybe I will raise stars.*Update: 2 months after getting it has healed well and looks pretty good, more time will tell. I raise a star here.

A friend and I walked in to get matching tattoos of a sketch I made and we each got a different artist. My sketch was not 100% symmetrical so I asked them to make some very slight changes in the lines to make it look straighter but the changes were not made. Also, my friends matching tattoo had a mistake on it that she pointed out and is noticeable. They charged us quite a price for the simple work requested so I am assuming they charged us for printing my sketch of what we wanted x2. I asked them to be sure the tattoo was symmetrical because my sketch wasnt necessarily so in some places. They must have forgotten because niether of our tattoos came out symmetrical in the specific areas I requested. We didnt tell them any of this, as we were upset and just wanted to get out of there. Everyone at the shop was super friendly but we will not be returning.

Unique ink is the best spot in Alaska to go if your looking for a tattoo. The staff is very friendly, they have a very clean welcoming atmosphere. They don’t pressure you into doing anything you are uncomfortable with and are very open about pain and recovery. If they can’t do it they will let you know. My favorite artist is Xtina she has done all of my tattoos and I have nothing to complain about ever! 5 stars I always recommend this shop to anyone I know looking to get work done!

Artwork is passable. The shop is very clean. Good prices for Alaska. Only reason its not a 5 star is that I have been here twice (once for me once for a friend) and both times had to call to remind that they had an appointment. Was a few hours late for my friend, about 45 minutes for me. But once we get started it is smooth sailing.

I came up from Las Vegas for my dads memorial service and decided to get a tattoo. I was referred by my sister to go see Roberto artist/ owner..He did an awesome job incorporating the previous tattoo I had on my leg into the tattoo I decided to get. He did so well it turned out more detailed than expected and the colors popped and flowed so well. Highly recommend him to anyone and everyone!! He works with me and made sure I was comfortable and pain level was manageable. He allowed breaks anytime needed. Thank you again!!

Awesome shop! Roberto is an amazing artist who has great talent and skill. I was extremely happy and impressed by his work and his staff is just as good! I think i found my new tattoo shop!

My experience here was ridiculous and awful. I came here for a relatively simple tattoo and was told it was far more complicated then it was. I was talked down to like this was my first tattoo with no previous knowledge of the process. I was told I would get the best deal in town and that the work here was superior. I chose this shop because of the stellar reviews, first mistake. After waiting an hour for them to do my paperwork, I was told my design wasnt possible and that the artist, Delaney, would do the best he could to recreate it. He ended up tracing some rubber bands around my arms and sketching something with a fat tip pen. The band lines were clearly crooked. After he traced the lines he said he needed a break and was gone for over 25 minutes. When he came back he seemed like he was high. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because he had good reviews.He began tattooing and I realized it was a mistake. I have larger tattoos in more sensitive places than my arms so I knew what to expect. He used unnecessary force and went over the initial lines 5-6 times before he moved on. I asked him to stop several times and he ignored me. I also asked for an exact time estimate and was given ambiguous answers and unnecessary attitude. When he finished tattooing, 4 hours later, he said it was finished but it looked like a basic outline. There was no shading whatsoever and it looked nothing like we had talked about. On top of that, it was bleeding all over. Definitely not what youd expect with a 4 hour tattoo.He proceeded to wrap my arm in plastic and gave me no other aftercare instructions other than to keep it wrapped for the next 3 days or so. The tattoo was clearly crooked and nothing like the design I had asked for. When it was time to pay he tried to uncharge me after giving me the original quote.A few hours later there was ink and blood dripping down my arm and seeping all around and through the plastic wrap. I took it off and cleaned it with antibacterial soap/lubriderm. The tattoo was hot and very inflamed. Ink still dripping here and there.All I can say is proceed with caution at this shop. I do not recommend any of their services the artists and owner were sleazy at best.

We were visiting from Texas and had to turn in our rental car but we were wanting to get some ink. We called to see when they closed and that we were going to be walking to get there. They came and picked us up! Delaney the artist stayed late and we both got amazing tattoos!! These guys are the real deal! Thanks again!

I got my first white tattoo today and I am so in love with it! The owner/artist squeezed in both me and my sister this morning and we couldnt be happier. The text turned out so beautiful and feminine. I would defiantly recommend him to a friend.

I went here for my first tattoo and i was skeptical because i didnt really know how it worked. I talked to delaney, he helped with my design and made the picture even better than what i showed. The atmoshpere in this place is so comfortable and calm, they play amazing music, they all have nice personalities. I was so umpressed that i literally got my 2nd tattoo the next day and the prices are affordable, they wont overcharge you so if you skeptical or not sure, trust me. Go here and dont forget to tip

He works with you with what you want, the environment is amazing and relaxing, and everyone we go and get work done, the experience is wonderful. I would recommend him 100% of the time!

Gone there for everyone of my tattoos so far and I have always been satisfied with the end result. I also had my tattoo fade a little bit and came back and Roberto touched it up for me no problem I have been in Alaska for 3 years and have talked to a lot of Tattoo shops and Roberto has the best prices hands down!! Wish i didnt have to leave or i would finish up my leg and my other arm but hey who knows i might just fly back to get some more ink.

I just had a big piece done by the shops owner , Roberto. I only had to schedule a week in advance and he slotted an entire day for me. When I asked if he was going to need to turn it into two separate appointments, which a lot of artists would, he said it all depended on me and that we could get it done in one sitting if I could handle it. He insisted on using numbing agents for my comfort even when I said it was fine and I didnt need it. Likewise, he was intensely focused on all the minor details even when I said I didnt care. Stayed with the initially quoted price. Gave me food and beverage since it was a long process. Hands down best artist Ive worked with.

XTina did my boyfriend and I’s matching koi fish tattoos. When I say she is AMAZING she is AMAZING. Super sweet and professional , she will make conversation with you which is awesome, I like when the artist talks to me during my session that way I feel more comfortable in the shop. She is open about pricing as well as what she can and cannot do. In no way shape or form did she make me feel like I didn’t know what was going on my body or unsure of anything as well as told me how to properly care for my tattoo. I had X not putting the rest of her name. Since there is only two people there. Anyways I got two tattoos done by her. I wish I looked closer on my second tattoo. It is the worse out of the 2. I am not going back. Ill post pics on here to show you. Wish I could get my money back for it. The Freddy Krueger is my second tat I got from her. If its a big piece she seems to do better at. This is my opinion. Hope it helps. And its their own stencil that she did.

I am 21 and I’ve been going to unique ink since I was 19!! All 3 pieces I have are from these guys and every time I leave happier than the time before. They don’t over charge you, they sit and talk to you about your design and making it unique to you. They genuinely care and you can tell. Everybody I know, I send to Unique Ink.

Love the devoted tattoo artist John!... I have never seen somebody so proud and confident about what they do. He takes pride in his work and he recently did a cover up for me. I was hoping for a few tiger lily’s On my right arm and got some leaves instead, by a tattoo artist named Tiffany Belivue. I was livid by the third one that I just stop talking to her completely. I showed my boy John he looked eyes got big and a couple weeks later they’re I was at the shop starting my sleeve. John is a very unique tattoo artist and well he can show you better then he can tell you. Love you BOY keep up the great work.

Roberto and Delaney did pieces for my fiancé and I and they came out amazing! Roberto paid extra attention to my piece and really perfected it, and Delaney is a master at his art, especially portraits! I would recommend them 1000 times again.

I got a name and a ; and he offered to go over my butterfly which is all black. He took almost 3 hrs and charged 300 for something that shoulda took an hr. And I should have paid 100 or 150 for. They included the time it took for him to prep nd get everything ready. Which I feel I should have only paid for the actual needle time. And next time won’t get one done by someone so new who takes 3 hrs for a fill in and a name and semi cullen.

I went to Unique Ink, looking for tattoo filler and AK tattoo. The owner Roberto quickly saw that I had an old tattoo in need of repair. He went too work recreating the piece, an reviving the tattoo into the piece it was supposed to be. The staff are helpful, fun and attentive. Roberto is a master of shading, details, and tattoo art!

We brought in a design and they were able to make it our own. My tattoo is amazing and I couldnt be happier. He even stayed late just to help!!! Love this place and WILL BE GOING BACK!!!!

Staff was super friendly, but I honestly regret getting a Friday the 13th tattoo here . The placement is all wrong, the line work is sloppy and he definitely rushed to get the next person in the chair. I definitely understand they are working to get to the next person but this tattoo is awful . I literally cry just looking at it 😭

The lady was very ill-informed and didnt know much about what she was talking about concerning state law and the tatoo industry... she was very misleading as far as where to find what in this town. As a true Alaskan, i try to be as informed as possible le, so that if any newbies come by with any questions, I can help them the best I can.. double check your info lady before blurting out bs by your own bias! Your distruth may be repeated and one misinformed newbie can turn into 100 if you are not careful!

This place is awesome. They stayed after closing to fit my coworkers and me in. They stayed until 2 am and did suuccch a good job. Im usually super picky with my artist, and these guys did an amazing job.
