Hopefully I remember to upload another picture once it’s healed, but Rorie did amazing! I came in wanting a bear tattoo, but a little unsure of exactly what it needed to look like. He helped me find the perfect design, and after a little over 2 hours, BOOM it was done! I was very happy with the result. Professional artistry to say the least. Also impressed that they offered a military discount!

I had Rick for my artist and it couldnt have gone better. I came in for my first tattoo and it took 6 hours of tiny details and he did it all perfectly. Along with that he made great conversation and took care of me while I was getting tattooed. Id deffinatly recommend him to anyone who wants some ink hes amazing I couldnt have had a better experience. THANK YOU!

Called in maybe an hour prior to walking in and was able to get a slot. annika was the one to tattoo me and she did an absolutely phenomenal job! she was really thorough with drawing up my piece. and made sure the color and placement was exactly what i wanted. she was super amazing during the tattooing process as well and made it an all around amazing experience! i will definitely be back. 10/10

It was an amazing experience. I never thought I would be able to do a full sleeve but Rick made my experience great. Hello Tattoo family. My name is Armando and my wifes name is Lisa and this is our first-time visiting Alaska and so far, we are having a great time. We decided to get tattoos and Dom was more than willing to accommodate us last minute. He was patient and he gave us the attention we deserved. As soon as we met him and started talking, it was like talking to an old friend. His artwork and design were exactly what we wanted. We want to give a big thank you to Dom and too Hardlines Tattoo for making our trip more memorable.

I really enjoyed my experience here. It was really nice inside and Rick was a joker, which was fun. My tattoo turned out great. Another plus is they were playing The Maze Runner on the tv when I came in, that definitely deserves five stars.🤣 Will definitely be going again!

My boyfriend and I both went in and we got amazing service. I got gorgeous bats that I’ve been wanting, and there was no bleeding. The owner was very nice and went out of his way to get us refreshments. Great service, great hospitality, definitely will be going back!

Cant say enough amazing things about my artist Dom he is legit!! I called to get some final tatts done for my goddess side and he delivered!!! If you need a work of art done with mind body and soul ask for him!!! He will do you right with amazing work!!

The owner tattooed my cousin and I. He was a bit rude to my cousin when she got her first tatoo. As an experienced person receiving tattoos knowing good treatment, I thought it was poor. She didn’t feel like her needs were heard and the artist complained when adjustments were needed. This is on our skin permanently and there was few adjustments asked for. We both will need touch ups and line work was messy. Tatoos were also definitely over priced.

Came in for three small tattoos and had a wonderful experience. Dom is a fine-line genius and was also very flexible with scheduling. I would highly recommend trusting him with your vision!

Amazing artist!! This tattoo is also a cover up!! If I could give Rick 10 starts I would!! He took his time with the tattoo and it really shows!! I didnt think the tattoo I had could be covered up, he did it!! I love that hes a one person shop it creates such a relaxed and comfortable environment such a better experience then other shops I have had work done in the past. I found a killer artist and will definitely be getting more ink from rick in the future!!

Rick the owner was really amazing and professional! He helped me come up with a tattoo idea that would be original to me. I really love the tattoo! It’s very seamless and clean. He explained the process every step of the way, and make sure I was comfortable. You can definitely see his passion for art and the talent he has for it. Rick did my first tattoo ever. He was very enthusiastic and funny. The environment was very chill and calm, I definitely recommend going there. I will again in the future.

I went down to Anchorage for my birthday weekend and my boyfriend and I spontaneously decided to get tattoos. Mike was AMAZING! He took us as walk-ins and he ended up staying late (well after closing time) even after working a full day to do this for us. He was very kind and made our experience great! The shop was very clean and the other artists were friendly and welcoming as well! We will definitely be coming back to see Mike the next time we come to visit. We love our tattoos and he made my birthday extra special. Thank you Mike!!!!

Cool place…I forgot the guys name who did my tattoo. I was a walk in and got a small quick one done. He did a good job, he made me laugh a couple times. Great place in anchorage for a tattoo. Plus they have a pool table.

I had a great experience, Rick was very accommodating and even though I was running late he still worked with me and got me in. It is a clean and hygienic area. They listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted and insured everything was correct along the process. Friendly staff and great work!! The easiest place in Anchorage to book an appointment online.

Was visiting Anchorage for a family reunion & all of the girl cousins have a tradition of getting mini crowns on our ankle. Rick was amazing & was able to get 4 of us in on his day off! He stayed with us way later than he should’ve had to! It was an awesome first tattoo experience for all 4 of us! Definately recommend!

I was only in town for 2 weekends, I walked in the first weekend and talked to Dom, he got me hooked up to come in the following weekend. He saw my idea and new exactly which artist he recommended I get with to get the tattoo. The next weekend I got with @the.horned.artist (IG) and we knocked it out. Super pleased with the results. She really worked with me to get the details and how I wanted the piece to work. Very reasonably priced too.

Rick was so nice and he is extremely talented! The place was very clean and had a comfortable atmosphere. He was very thorough in explaining the whole process which relieved a lot of the anxiety I originally had. He was very light handed and made my first tattoo experience a lot more pleasant than I had originally expected. He gave us exactly the design we wanted and was very clear with what would look best for our design. On top of all that, the pricing was very reasonable and affordable, I highly recommend him!

Go here. That’s all I have to say. The people are all so great even when they aren’t tattooing you. Dom fit me in on a whim when I had a scheduling snafu online. Was quick, efficient but also so patient and hilarious. They make you feel like you are a long time friend and are genuinely interested in the conversation you are having. Or not! There was also people getting tattooed in silence. The perfect experience during my Alaskan vacation. Would honestly come back here just to go to this shop. If you are questioning where to go in Anchorage….here. It’s this place.

Rick did a great job with our group of tattoos that we had planned. He may have been called a few fun names during the weekend process, but a great experience and he took our chosen tattoos to the next level. Will definitely come back in the future!

This has got to be the coolest tattoo shop in town! I was there accompanying my friend getting her first tattoo and there was no shortage of entertainment/fun to be had. My husband and I both got tattoos with Rick. We had a great experience, and he really worked with us with our schedule to get us in back to back. Shop is clean and well laid out. Rick tattooed a sternum tattoo on me. He did a fantastic job. Super knowledgeable and thorough. He talked me through the whole process. He did fantastic work, I absolutely LOVE my tattoo. Will be going back again!

This experience was hands down the best Ive had in a tattoo shop. John was very respectful and informative. He was very soft handed, I couldve taken a nap. Rick is friendly and was flexible to get us on his schedule with short notice. We were thankful since we were from out of town. He took his time drafting the artwork to make a personal piece with his digital art app.When it came to the final product, it wasnt the best quality of detailed lines, shading and overall quality. There were two areas that were drastically different from the original artwork that look nothing like the original picture.I would give 2 stars due to the nice atmosphere and nice guy, but definitely not worth quality tattoo wasnt quality tattoo material. - Disappointed

Person who did my tatt Rick was very very nice I liked the service but not my tattoo. My tattoo is crooked and looks horrible. Will be going to another artist with better line work.

Rick consulted with me over a cover-up on my back, penciled me in for 4 hours the very next morning and knocked it out of the park for me. Very well done, very reasonably priced.

Rick, the owner, was not only an amazing tattoo artist but even better person! He welcomed my friends and I, completely taking care of us. We had the absolute best time and will definitely be going back to get some more from him.

My daughter and I got matching tattoos and our experience was amazing! This was my first tattoo and I was a bit tentative going into it but the owner Rick ended up being the artist. I went to this tattoo shop a few days ago, and I was astounded! I was originally put on a wait list, but Dom, one of the artists, calls me when he’s finished for the day after the shop was supposed to be closed and asks if I’d still like to be given a tattoo. Long story short, he did an AMAZING job and he works with amazing people! The shop is super clean and everyone in there is extremely friendly. I highly recommend coming to get a tattoo here!

During my visit to Anchorage I walked into HardLines looking to get a half sleeve tattoo with two days left before leaving Alaska. I was greeted by Michael and Rick as soon as I arrived. The shop looks amazing and Rick went above and beyond to accommodate my request. Rick worked through the night and completed my half sleeve. It looks amazing and I will definitely be back again for more ink!!!!

I have been tattooed by both rick and Carolina and have no complaints about either one. They deliver a great produce and make sure that you are unique and nobody else is gonna have the same tattoo! They take their time and make you feel at home

Pretty solid parlor, I booked online 2 days in advance and was able to squeeze my wife and I in. We both got ring tattoos for our 8 year anniversary. Work was good, quick and no issues. I highly recommend this spot.

Hands down the best tattoo experience that I have ever had. Me and my girlfriend are visiting Alaska for the first time, and wanted to get tattoos while we were here. With so many shops around Anchorage, I had no idea where to start. I called a few shops requesting two walk-ins, and Hardlines was the only shop that didn’t turn us away. Not knowing anything about the area, I was nervous about the quality of the tattoos we were about to get. As we entered, the owner asked me what tattoos we wanted and said he would let his associate know, as his associate usually took all of the walk-ins. Immediately when I told the owner what style I wanted, he became so interested and involved that he himself designed and did my tattoo. Both of these men did some of the best work, and had the best attitudes of any tattoo artist I have ever had the pleasure of working on me. All in under an hour. They both made me and my girlfriend feel more comfortable than if we were in our own home. The attention to detail and quality of work was top-notch. My only regret is that we almost went to a different shop. All I can say is I can’t wait to fly back here from Tennessee to get more tattoos!!!***IF YOU WANT AMERICAN TRADITIONAL, THIS IS THE SHOP FOR YOU***

Went on November 12 for mother daughter tattoos. Dominick was an awesome artist, he captured our designs perfectly. I was a newbie, my daughter a novice, and he made me feel completely at ease. A five star horrible rating!! As a brown man I felt very uncomfortable, and given the impression they didn’t want my business after a hour of waiting for the tattoo guy to show up I respectfully said I’ll make different plans, wished them a positive day and left. So in my opinion horrible service.

Rick drew out exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. The price was great ! He actually cared and pushed me through it cause I was going to quit. He also used half his numbing spray on me. I’ve gotten a lot of tattoos here in Alaska and nun of them compare to my experience at hardline tattoos. Thank you so much! I’ll be back:)

I had a Tagus piercing that I could feel was getting infected but I couldn’t turn the small ball with my nails.I went in the shop as drop in and had someone help me to remove it.They were friendly and very helpful.Thank you guys!

Moth on my shoulder, and finger tattoos done here. linework faded and was blotchy, looks like stick and poke now. (only 3 weeks out) would not recommend.3 weeks out from my retouch, still not impressed. The lines have faded and the lines are barely visible. The tattoo artists (Michael) response to his original work was very unprofessional, and attributed the poor linework to trauma in his past? I just wanted him to fix the work he had done, and he did not deliver. The uploaded photo is 3 weeks healed from the touch up, which is sadly better than what it had been.

From bad to worse.I went in to get my future husbands name tattooed on my finger, spelled Arden originally done by Michael. You can clearly see in photo #1 it is spelled ARDEN, with an N at the end. (Note the photo with the arrow pointing at a line that should not be there and was not there prior). The R is not the same and the E is not the same as the original...The tattoo needed a touch up after a couple weeks (which is normal). I went in to have my touch up done by the owner, Rick. Thinking it would be done right.It spells ARDEM, clearly. This was probably one of the simplest tattoos you could ever do and they still messed it up 😬Lesson learned! Only the best artists from here on out.

Me and my best friend walked in last minute on a Saturday night and we’re helped/tattooed by the owner, Rick. Super fun experience and we are both really happy with our tattoos!

I went in for a walk in which they actually still take, a lot of tattoo shops dont anymore. I had a super simple small tattoo I wanted, theyre got me right in the guy who did my tattoo had a very gentle hand, didnt hurt at all, and was very personable. I was very impressed, I would definitely use this shop again.

The quality of the work done here is better than any place I have seen or been to. His advice to me on where I wanted my tattoo vs. where I ended up getting it was more than I can say about any other place Ive been to in the past. The pricing is very reasonable compared to any place Ive been to in the lower 48 also. I will definitely be back and I will recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo.

Was driving through anchorage and wanted a pair of lips tattooed but really only had about 3hrs in town which they were able to get me in. Ive got a bunch of tattoos, Mike was the artist who seemed new but i tell you what the tattoo came out awesome!!! I was looking for places to get my tattoos done for about a year and decided on hardline bc of their line work. the experience there was comfortable than the other tattoo places i’ve been to. the owner treated me well and made sure i wanted these tattoos done. he even gave me a few ideas to expand on my back tattoo on which was generous. overall, i recommend this place!

Ive had two tattoos done by micheal and both are my favorite pieces. He is a wonderful man who i had a heartfelt conversation about my scars while he did my piece, a memory ill hold fondly forever. very comfy shop with good hospitatily, wonderful artists.

My wife and I have been going here for over a year now. Dom is our go-to, but all the artists are legit. Chill atmosphere, and they work pretty late if you want to go after work.

I walked in off the street to get some basic tattoos, the artist ran with it and ended up doing some outstanding work. The environment is very welcoming and every artist in the shop is very professional. I would recommend this shop to anyone visiting Anchorage.

Rick is a very great artist and is not heavy handed. His work is beyond my expectations and will be getting future tattoos from him!

Rick is a friendly dude and a good person. But my line work is shaky and the symbol is just completely messed up. We went over what was supposed to go on my shoulder as well picture not included. It was supposed to be basically a shield like symbol with 2 filigree in it. I ended up with a COMPELTELY different design then what he drew up. Basically a circle with dragon scales that I didnt even get to authorize on my own skin. I didnt go back and finish it due to this detail. You cant switch up the design when you and your artist come to an agreement before hand of exactly what your getting. Good luck in the future.
