Derm FX Tattoo

I’ve been coming to this shop for about 2 years now, I’ve gotten 3 pieces done I always have an amazing experience, it’s a clean shop, fair prices, and great service. I usually get my work done by Dylan, he is an amazing artist, very knowledgeable and considerate. He’s an artist that is willing to take breaks when you need them, and never makes you feel rushed. Thank you to the shop and thank you to Dylan!

I came here for my first time for piercings. They where incredibly nice. I had no infection. They are very quick in service. They are really funny! I would tell anyone and everyone to come here. Im coming back today to get more piercings.

What an amazing place! Cody is so kind and always was responsive to my questions! He did my teen daughter’s nose piercing and she got a little light-headed. He immediately attended to her, got her water and offered her a snack! I had a tattoo planned for the future and I knew he was the one! I got it yesterday and it is AMAZING! I am planning on one more tattoo and a few more piercings and he is the one I’m going to!

Cody was great! When you work with an artist their suggestions are usually on point and his were. My friend and I both got our tattoos done by him and were 100% satisfied. I will go back again to him. Check him out!

Jay and Cody are the best! I was freaked out about my tattoo and Cody helped me figure out a way to explain what I wanted to Jay. Jay did a phenomenal job with this, he hand drew it and made sure I was comfortable before we even started. I am thrilled with how it looks and am anxious to get back in the shop so we can finish it.

Cody was super helpful, efficient, and I love how my tattoo turned out! Ill add photos once its past the healing stage. It was fairly easy to get a hold of them through Facebook Messenger and the cost was very reasonable!

Great little shop with excellent artists- I went for the Friday the 13th flash day and it was so busy- a testament to their popularity. My tattoos turned out really cute!!Second visit, this time for a straight up jewelry change. The jewelry coming out was a custom circular barbell, that had the beads screw into the side of the ring, not into the normal end where beads usually go. I feel like I explained it pretty well, but the guy ended up snapping the bead off anyway. The ring and one bead are now broken. He made no offer to replace the jewelry he broke, no offer to just give me a cheap bead ring to wear since my jewelry could not be worn anymore. A sorry and a shrug. Its too bad, I liked the tattoo artist I saw before but I wont be going back.

I am over the moon happy with Cody at Derm FX. Not only is he such a kind great person to do business with, but he is such a talented tattoo artist. I came to him desperately wanting help with a cover up that I knew would not be easy and Im 1 session done and 1 more to go and as soon as its done I will post pics! But today I was so happy when I left my appointment with Cody I cried in my car because I am so happy I am finally getting the mistake Ive had to look at and hide for years covered up with something beautiful! I am over the moon! Would recommend 10000 times

I had chose Derm f/x and specifically Cody Hart because I liked his use of color. He didnt disappoint. I had a tattoo of my dogs tag done. She passed a couple years ago and I wanted something as a memorial to her and not her portrait. He is fantastic at talking through what I wanted and making sure he understood what I had envisioned. I have my next tattoo already scheduled. The picture does not do the tattoo justice.

Cody is a phenomenal artist with amazing vision and a stellar personality. I felt comfortable with him from the moment I walked in for my consultation. I went in for my first tattoo with a vision and he brought it to life and then some. I did a full spine piece that took over 8 hours. Cody was patient, cracking jokes, welcoming, and most of all, excited for the experience!! I cant say enough great things!! Thank you Cody!!

The people that were there when I got there for my piercing appointment were very helpful. Cody was not there at the time of my appointment. So they texted him and found out he couldnt be at the shop for another two hours. I wish he would have managed his schedule better and contacted me before I went out of my way to make it to the shop.

This place was great! :) went in for a few piercings and everything went super smooth. Everything was clean and sterilized, the artists were masked, they opened clean needles and equipment where you could see them do it so you know its legit. Cody was my artist and he was absolutely wonderful :) it was my first facial piercing and I was a tad worried but he was super chill, laid back, gentle.. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Cody is not very responsive. Gave a $60 deposit had to cancel do to skin rash. I have had a difficult time getting him to respond to set up an appointment. First stated he had availability in November. Then sends a message 3 days later saying not till December and only mornings. Knowing I work in the mornings. So CODY keep my $60 . I found a different artist. Too bad because I actually thought you were pretty cool

Tattoo artist Dylan, is the best of all time. I changed my tattoo ideas 7 times, had him stencil each design and he continued to be so patient, kind, and professional. I finally settled on a 8 by 10 piece of a Albert Einstein portrait. It took 5 hours totals. He provided snacks and water for break. This was my first tattoo and there was no pain at all. I can’t wait to come back for my second. Tattoo virgins, ask for Dylan.Edit**. Cody is awesome too, he’s funny and very welcoming

I had my appt with Cody Hart!! Amazing experience! The shop is nice and he is wonderful, easy going, made me feel really comfortable. Plus he did an amazing job! I love this tattoo more than all my others. Im going back to finish and he is now my main guy for tattoos.

My mom and I got mother/daughter tattoos last weekend and Cody Hart was absolutely AMAZING!! My mom & I had a great experience! Cody was extremely gentle, friendly, knowledgeable & flexible! I already have two appointments scheduled for a cover-up!! I would highly recommended Cody & this shop!!

Went for a flash sale. I went early got right in and out and the quality of my tatoo is great! Love the atmosphere and our artist was super chill and really nice. It was small so it wasnt a lengthy process and the price was pretty fair too.

I cant even begin to say how amazing my experience with Derm f/x tattoo and their team was. I came in to get a large piece on my upper arm, and also a dermal anchor on my cheek bone. Cody and his team were very professional and inviting! My dermal anchor was a very easy, clean, and a fast process. Hardly painful at all! Codys artwork is absolutely stunning! Hes very knowledgeable in his field and made me feel very comfortable with my sessions. He was very informative about after care and made sure I was 110% happy before I walked out of the shop. I will not be getting tattooed anywhere else! I highly recommend this shop.

Derm fx tattoo is beyond the best tattoo place!!! All the artist are amazing

See Dylan! He understands the assignment! Not only did he help me hone my design to a perfect vibe, he also makes the cleanest lines and blended shading! I like video games and anime characters and he captured my favorite Pokémon frame perfect from the show on my chest!

Friends took me here to get my nipples pierced for my birthday and Cody was amazing. He walked me through the whole procedure and explained all my after care needed. After a few days there was some swelling and I was a little concerned and he told me to come in to check it out. It was a little late at night and told me he would stay and wait for me to get there. Decided it was best for me to have hoops instead and changed them out. Once he was done he walked me through the after care again and told me if I had any questions dont hesitate to call him! Definitely coming back here again! My daughter now wants to come get more piercings! Thank you Cody and Derm F/X!

Jay was amazing! He was professional, and friendly, and is a perfectionist! We waited 26 yrs for a couples tattoo, and he made it all worth the wait. We will be going back for more, and will tell all of our friends and family. Excellent, talented artist and a great shop.

I have been going to Cody at DermFX Tattoo for about six months now, he is doing a full sleeve on my right arm with a shoulder cover up. It is ninety percent done and looks amazing. Cody is also doing a chest piece and a half sleeve on my left arm. A cover up on my chest and two cover ups on my left arm, one of them covers about half my arm (lower). Each time I enter the shop I am greeted with a smile and hello by one of the artists. Each scheduled session is different, as it IS a tattoo shop. Time does not ALWAYS work in favor of the artist and they run over into your schedule. No biggie, usually I am notified in advance that hes running late. Art takes time! Cody always gives me his full attention once I sit in his chair! Sometimes they have personal issues arise in their lives and they need to reschedule. Like when Codys baby was coming, we just had the outline of my 38, he had to go! Do you want someone tattooing you when their mind isnt there? After all they are human beings as well. I have had Alex tattoo a small kiss of poison on my hand, she did wonderful. Who knows, I may even have Jay tattoo something. All of the artists at DermFX are wonderful individuals!P.S. The shop is under reconstruction too! Be patient and dont judge!Love you guys!!

To preface, this review is specifically for the artist Alex Ivy.In my estimation, when one wants to get something as permanent as a tattoo, one goes to no one but the best. A true artist in ever sense of the word, and without a doubt, Alex encompasses artistry in every facet of the word. Not only is she a tattoo artist, but also a musical artist (check her out), which I believe lends only a deeper understanding of the medium to her that she weaves expertly into every piece she designs.Now, in the interest of painting an apt portrayal of this esteemed artist, Ill detail a bit of background on my experience with her. My skin is a tricky canvas to master, while it absorbs ink readily, it also bleeds it out just as quickly. Being an unexpected hurdle, I was understandably dismayed, but Alex never seemed daunted in the least. With each new piece she worked on for me, she demonstrated her deft skill by adjusting technique and expertly making sure my stubborn epidermis retained every ounce of ink administered. The truly surprising aspect is not that she defeated a rather significant issue, which she did, but that cleanliness of lines and pristine designs did not suffer in the least.It goes without saying, Alex is an artist to watch. So, whether you have a design youd like her to put a twist on, or one of your own fathoming; you will leave her chair delighted with the end result. Should you be in need of some fresh ink, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Alex Ivy post haste.

Mark did mine and my boyfriends tattoos and they are amazing...we brought a picture of what we wanted and he had no problem drawing it up for us. And he was really quick...i love it and will definitely be getting more work done with him.

My review is for Cody. As a Relationship Banker, I deal with customers everyday and I always make them as my number one priority. As for cody, Ive never met anyone so unprofessional like him. He treats his customers like crap. It took him a good two weeks to reply to my email before he could schedule my appointment. He replied to my email by text, then next thing I know, he got upset because I tried to text him using the same number to contact him. I had to reschedule due to a changed of schedule at work, he basically was not answering me and finally he sent me a very upsetting text saying not to contact him because its his personal phone. I definitely wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Since turning 18 Chris Cricket Johnson has been the only person Ill let poke holes in me. Honestly one of the best most professional piercers in the game. His work area is cleanly and organized and he has a way with making you feel at ease if youre at all nervous.10/10 for sure!!!

Good tattoo shop and good environment. Love the work the guys put out. I have been going to derm fx for 12 years now and wont go anywhere else. I have over 150 hours of work done. Most from cody at the shop. I have had many friends go to Jay and cody for tattoos and they enjoyed there experience and keep going back for more tattoos

My experience was very poor to say the lease. I bought a 50 voucher from Groupon for an hour of tattooing. There business hours are from 12 pm to 8 pm and I have gone to this place for the 3rd time at noon . Sat there for an hour until 1 and no one has shown up. No point to have business hours if your gonna be there . I finally just waited to go there at 4 pm and holly crap they were there . Looked at an easy tattoo that was already on my arm and just wanted it darkened and shaded, no more then 30 mins to an hour of work and they wanted to book me two weeks out when they had people who were available Avandia jus sitting there. The place was dirty and smelled bad. Lol while I was waiting I spoke to someone who had a Groupon and said that people who were close friends with these people put 5 star ratings on line and lied . This place reached out to Groupon for a reason. Very unprofessional and not good artist at all. They even have someone in there who I knew and is addicted to Oxe and coke lol needless to say I got a refund from Groupon. Please dont waste your time with this place !

Ive been getting ink here for a little over a year now. Both Cody and Jay are working on my sleeves. I highly recommend either of these 2 artists for your ink.

They were beyond nice!! Mark did beyond amazing work. His line work is so clean and his color is so saturate and beautiful!! I couldnt recommend this shop or this artist more!

Best tattoo shop Ive found in WA within the 6 years Ive been here.

I have gone to chris for all of my piercings whoch include my cartilage, my noce, my septum, my tongue and my belly button. i will never go to another piercer for the simple fact that he takes pride in all of his work and is very foward and a positive dude. ive followed him and his work from one auburn location to the next to fife because he is extremely efficient.

Had my piercings done by Chris and my tattoo done by Cody there absolutely amazing I love both of the work and I could have been more comfortable highly recommended

I love my work but my work wasnt finished. I have tried to contact my artist jay a few times now. I was told that I could contact him for my touch up and to finish the last bit. Needless to say after 1000 worth of work I wont be going back.

Got my peice by Mark. Technique was definitely good. Very easy to bounce ideas with and figure out something good for the peice you want. Going back for sure, it was so good, very sanitary of course and the whole nine.

Dont fall groupon deal they offering and lies that this business tell you they have free touch on tattoo they do for you.My wife got tattoo by artist Cody, he did one wife tattoo didnt turn out look right after week tattoo healing ,i message him we need to free touch he said to my wife,so he said let tattoo heal first then contact to set appt to come free touch,so after my wife tattoo heal i message to set appt to come for free touch,the artist Cody completely ignore me,i wait for three week no reply,so basically groupon deal they offering waste of money it end up cost you more,now we have to go different tattoo place to get touch to finish tattoo job ,what shady business practice this place doing with groupon deal offering to get new customer to walk in door.

I got my tattoo done a couple weeks ago by Alex it was a memorial tattoo for mom & she was amazing Im going to schedule another one for this week or next cant wait luv them !!!
