Amanda was some kind of special artist…a true one ☝️! It started with a phone call inquiry and I then went in (as a visitor to Austin) with my daughter, as we were planning on getting matching tattoos. When we arrived, “cute” Amanda greeted us so friendly and remembered our call. I showed her 3 images…she said give her time to draw it out and she’d show us. Literally 10 minutes later she showed us and it was SPOT ON!!! We even called a friend to join us and she gladly did his too!!! long story short, we all would highly recommend Amanda and we will be back again soon! She has great vibes and her energy was the best ever. ☀️🧡

This tattoo shop is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is great, and the artists are incredibly talented. I’ve been here multiple times, and it’s always a great experience. Miranda just did a piece on my leg, and it turned out amazing! I’ve also gotten tattoos from Emily and Amanda, and each time, the artists really listened to what I wanted and brought my ideas to life beautifully. They truly put their all into their work, and everyone there is so nice and friendly. I love this shop! I have been here for piercings and most recently a tattoo by Miranda. The atmosphere is always light and good vibes. Miranda was extremely flexible with scheduling and in my case rescheduling. She was thorough and friendly. I felt very relaxed and was able to watch good old 80s movies! She is so talented and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a tattoo artist. I will definitely go back to her for another one!

Lovely place, good atmosphere, kind people. The artist that did my tattoo, Amanda, was amazing! I have a low pain tolerance and she dealt with me very nicely. I was very apologetic, but she said no need! Very nice people around and I felt very comfortable.

Originally stopped.in to schedule an appointment, and Zac was able to fit me in the same day. Honestly, if youre looking for a shop that is both professional AND just super chill, I absolutely recommend Copperhead. EVERY artist has skill that is some of the best Ive seen. I was a walk-in on a very busy day, but Amanda Perez was incredibly accommodating and squeezed me in. With how busy they were, I was only expecting a flash. Amanda took the flash I found online, customized it to my liking, while also making it her own. I am in love with my tattoo and I get compliments everywhere I go. I definitely plan to return!

We called to see if they had any walk in availability and the person who answered the phone set us up with Miranda. When we got there Miranda was already available and able to chat with us about our designs. She went above our expectations with what she drew up compared to our idea pictures that we showed her. While we waited we saw a lot of people coming in and each staff member was awesome. They were all attentive, professional and helpful with everyones questions and needs whether they were there for tattoos or piercings. Miranda was super meticulous, making sure the sizing was right in order to get the specific details we wanted, making sure the placement was right based on location and how my arms would move with the design. She was also just generally an awesome person to chat with and made the whole experience comfortable. 5 stars from start to finish in every category you can think of. Fia did an amazing job saving my daughter’s ear piercings, and now theyve healed perfectly. She treated us with such kindness, making us feel completely comfortable. I came in for a forward helix piercing and my friend for a second lobe piercing. Sofia is 100% the best piercer I’ve ever been to! She took her time explaining to us the pricing and really knows her stuff about the quality of the different metals. She has a lovely personality and made the whole experience so fun. My boyfriend and I were out of town from Houston for the weekend and spontaneously decided we wanted tattoos while we were here. We found this place on google and read all their great reviews and decided to stop by. Amanda did both of our tattoos, she was very sweet and just radiated good vibes. She made sure everything was perfect and exactly what we wanted. The other staff were very helpful and attentive as well. Will definitely be coming back the next time we are in town!

I originally stumbled upon Copperhead a year ago when I was in the Domain area and in the mood for a spontaneous piercing. Everyone was super nice, professional and helpful. The shop was clean, I loved the vibe and my helix piercing looked awesome. I told myself I would come back here when I decided to pull the trigger on my first tattoo… Fast forward to a few weeks ago - I called to schedule an appointment and got Amanda. She was so friendly/ accommodating and drew up a beautiful olive branch based on the inspo pics I emailed. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my overall experience getting tattooed by Amanda. She is so talented and I can’t wait to come back and see her for my next one!

Got a tattoo from Amanda the other day. This was a great experience! She is an amazing artist. I’ve been going to Copperhead for over a year, have been tattooed by multiple artist, and have had my piercings cared for by both piercers. Everyone who works here provides amazing customer service and are all great to work with. The shop has the best atmosphere out of any tattoo/piercing shop I’ve been to. It’s the only place I go to and the only place I recommend people go in Austin.

Went here to get a matching american traditional flower with my parents. The studio looked very cool and very clean. Amanda Perez was my tattoo artist, she was great, very talented. Quick and with a great price.

I got a significant tiger tattoo from Amanda Perez. That was just really amazing. She designed the artwork herself, was really fantastic in her skill and manner, made me incredibly comfortable, and gave me a world class tattoo that beat anything else I have on my body. This place is super nice and welcoming. They accommodated us as soon as we walked in the door, without appointments. I got a single helix, and was thoroughly informed about the piercing/healing process. They made sure I knew what I wanted and reassured any worries. They also made sure to sanitize well beforehand. Got a tattoo here after work a few days ago and loved my experience here!i walked in and was almost immediately greeted and after a short wait was greeted by the artist that would be doing my tattoo. the artists name was amanda and she was so kind, nice, and patient with me. i think we all have this underlying fear of artist getting annoyed with us for asking for too many changes but amanda made me feel comfortable and taken care of the entire time. she slayed my tattoo down and i highly recommend this place. i also overheard one of the other piercers or artist say that over half of the employees are women which as a woman myself makes me feel so safe and welcome. come get your tats and piercings here folks!

I had a wonderful time at Copperhead! The staff are so friendly and sweet. They did a great, quick job with my navel piercing- I was probably in and out in around 30-45 minutes.I would say the prices are fair bordering on a bit pricy (but for a quality piercing, isnt that worth it?)For my navel piercing it was $50, with additional cost for the jewelry.I was helped by Kayla and Sofia. They were super nice and made me feel comfortable! Kayla was the one who pierced me, and did an amazing job!If I feel like getting another piercing, I think Ill come back here! :))

Absolutely recommend! I live in the area and was looking for a new shop in town and after looking at the shop’s artists’ work on their Instagrams, I decided to go for it cause they honestly didn’t have any bad artists as far as I could tell. I ended up getting a butterfly yesterday with Zac (the owner). Turned out great, he was flexible with fitting me into his availability and was super nice and professional (hard to find these days)! And I also decided to get a tattoo with Melanie today and it was a more custom tarot card piece. She was also super chill, professional, and friendly. I’m definitely planning to finish out the rest of my sleeves here. You won’t regret choosing this shop, they truly believe in treating clients as people and with mutual respect.

Fortunately, we were able to book a session with Amanda Perez, and she was absolutely fantastic! My daughter and I came as walk-ins for piercings, very minimal wait time. Kayla performed our piercings, she was so amazing. Kayla is the best piercer around! She’s got the best selection of jewelry, the most functional knowledge, and such a gentle touch! Got my helix and eyebrow pierced by Fia. She was wonderfully nice and very professional. The shop is super clean, and she explained every part of the piercing very clearly, from jewelry selection, to actual piercing, to aftercare. I dont have a lot of piercings and I keep forgetting I have the eyebrow piercing. Everytime I look in the mirror I remember it and grin wildly. I dont think Ive ever loved my appearance more. Truly an awesome time!

Ive been to Copperhead Tattoo & Piercing for several tattoo appointments over the past year or so and have had the best experience every time!My tattoo artist, Emily, is fantastic- not only is she incredibly talented but she was able to make me feel so welcomed and comfortable at Copperhead. My first tattoo with her was a 10 hr+ session, not once did I feel like the appointment was rushed and I couldnt wait to come back for some more work.The interactions Ive had with the other artists & piercers there as well have all been nothing but positive, everyone is so supportive of each other.I get asked nearly every day who did my tattoos and Im so quick to let them know I got them done at Copperhead, the talent here is amazing and the people are too. I plan on going to Copperhead & Emily as long as I can! :)

Got a simple titanium 16g ring swap in my conch, $20 ring $5 fee to have the piercer do it for me, yay!! i’m happy and it looks great, i’ll def come back here for my next 👯‍♀️🍻

Love, love, love -- I cannot say enough amazing things about Kayla and Sofia! I had my navel tapered and re-opened by Kayla; I had my forward helix pierced by Sophia. Both were excellent experiences.There is a wide selection of excellent quality jewelry available; they will help you pick a piece that is not only going to look beautiful, but will be an good fit for your piercing in terms of accommodating swelling, etc. The studio is extremely clean; the piercing room is just as cute as can be! Love all the neon art.Both ladies are incredibly personable; they are meticulous in their craft, from hygiene to marking the site to discussing each step. To top it all of, their prices are very reasonable!!! I live in the Mueller area, but it is worth the little drive here to get pierced.Bonus, my husband lost his wallet there last night; they called bright and early this morning to let us know. We were even told that he could come in before opening to pick it up, since someone was there and they know how nerve-wracking it is to lose that.Highly recommend.

The staff here are absolutely incredible. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted, asked what we were looking for and had an artist squeeze us in. Zac drew up the design quickly and tattooed us beautifully with a very light hand. I had a piercing question while there as well, and Kayla was so helpful. She ended up removing the peircing that wasnt done well and referred me to some shops closer to home. The whole staff just want to make sure you are getting quality work, whatever or wherever it may be. Call, make an appt and get something done. You will not be disappointed.

Amanda is an absolutely gem. She always does such good work. I’ve gotten three tattoos from her and all of them are amazing. The line work and designs are especially great. She obviously take great pride in her craft and it shows. The advice she gives has a good balance between getting you what you want and making sure the tattoo looks as good as possible. The tattooing experience is also great. She makes sure you’re always comfortable. If she notices you’re struggling she’ll suggest taking a break for your own comfort. She just has a very warm presence and amazing work.Kayla one of the piercers there is also amazing. I’ve already made a review about her but I’ve gotten a few more piercings since then. Every time I always have a great time. This latest time I was getting two at the same time. For one them I knew what I was getting but for the other one I had no clue. Kayla went through and suggested a few different ideas with me. All the while being super patient. Showing excitement as well. Which made me more excited. Of course the piercing itself was nice and easy. Quick but precise.

Man I had a fantastic experience! So glad I ran into Miranda, she’s so talented, kind, funny and friendly! She made sure I was completely happy with the design, its size and placement before getting to work. Since this was my first tattoo experience ever, I was pretty nervous, and obviously needles piercing through your skin isn’t a pleasant experience. However, being the wonderful conversationalist that she is, she kept me distracted from the sensations the entire two hours I spent there, and we got to know a lot about each other! Overall extremely happy with my experience and will definitely be returning! (also the place is super clean and the ambience is warm and inviting)

Kayla is an exceptional piercer. Highly professional & thoughtful. I had two dermal piercings done by her and they healed SO rapidly and well. Im truly impressed by how well done they were. Ive had dermals before and she has by far exceeded any of my prior experiences. 10/10 recommend her

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I was not totally sure what to expect when getting my first Tattoo but Amanda and the rest of the folks over at Copperhead immediately made me feel welcomed when I stepped in the door! They were super open to hearing my ideas and also worked closely with me so that they could make my ideas come to life! Amanda did just that! Not only did she do a fantastic job on my tattoo (fantastic is an understatement), she also made sure that I was comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process. You can tell that Amanda genuinely cares and puts a lot of effort into her work, which is a great feeling to have when getting a tattoo. I went here for my first piercing ever, and it was so great! There was a Friday the 13th special on the day I went, so I got a really great deal. The people who work here are great and if there is a waiting time, they will call you to let you know when they are ready to get you in. Theres even a Starbucks and Jimmy Johns a minute walk away if you want somewhere to eat or sit. The lady who did my piercing was really nice. I would come back here if I decide to get another piercing.

Cooperhead is one of the best tattoo shops in the Austin area if you are looking to get a piercing or a tattoo! I have a personal experience with two of the artists at this location, Zac and Emily. Emily was the tattoo artist that did my VERY first tattoo and I couldnt have found a better person to do so. Emily is an insanely creative artist that took a simple idea I had and made it into a beautiful memorial piece. Emily is not only an amazing artist but is also one of the sweetest people Ive ever meet, shes fun to chat with and will do whatever you need to make you comfortable during your session! Zac is another artist that I would recommend to anybody searching to get a piece done. Zac did an amazing job drawing and tattooing my most recent piece and was a dope person to chat with while also ensuring my comfort during the session. Zac and Emily were both super quick with their responses during the scheduling process and were very clear on their policies! I walked in looking to get a strawberry tattoo, and was helped/tattooed by Miranda. She listened to everything i wanted or didnt want and we came to the perfect design. Probably one of the least painful tattoo experiences ive had and her work was… **chefs kiss** and fast! 10/10

If having a top notch, S-tier tattoo artist ink a creation that wows, Copperhead is the premier place in Austin for you. There’s TVs in every bay and it matters when you’re having to sit for over seven and a half hours or more. What I enjoyed most in getting inked here was the collaboration I felt when ideating the design for my tattoo with Zac, the owner. Zac has a lot of passion for his craft and he took feedback and direction really well without any chip on his shoulder. I felt that I was definitely in capable hands. I highly recommend Copperhead as THE tattoo studio of Austin.One nice to have would be beverages ready for customers or some amenities like a side tables with a charging station next to your chair, to put your phone or iPad on while you’re having to sit for such a long time, but overall what really matters is the art—and Copperhead definitely delivers.

I’ve gotten my nose piercing jewelry changed here twice and have been super happy both times! Jewelry is super high quality and prices are fair too. Everything is super clean and they do a really good job of explaining everything and give you the forceps so you can change the jewelry yourself. I get too nervous to change my own jewelry so I’ll definitely come back here again to get it changed the next time!

Melanie was great and spent a crucial amount of time making sure my script lettering was perfect which I cant be more thankful for. Cant recommend enough.

My girlfriend and i went to get tattoos on impulse. We had gone in with no appointment and waited for maybe 15-20 minutes while Tom prepared the equipment. Aside from absolutely LOVING the results, he made the whole experience comfortable and easy, pretty painless compared to other tattoos ive had, and im a baby with the pain. Sometimes it can be stressful finding a new artist but after seeing his work, along with our tattoos, that stress is gone. We both definitely recommend checking out Copperhead Tattoo and Piercing, I know ill be going back for future pieces.

Review is based on my one experience, but many more to come! I got a back tattoo by Melanie and my septum stretched by Kayla, both experiences were phenomenal. Both were so informative, welcoming, and great people to trust! Melanie listened to all of my concerns, answers my many many questions with enthusiasm, and gave me a really sick spine tattoo. Kayla also gave me TONS of information on piercing, the industry, and loads of information on every piercing I brought up. Going from a 10g-8g was extremely smooth; Kayla used a TON of lube, as well as glass jewelry, and it made the stretch almost painless. Looking forward to updating my review when I get my difficult anatomy tongue piercing here!

I wish I could tell you the experience better, there aren’t enough stars to give. If you are lucky enough to meet the entire family here, I am jealous. This has been the best experience I’ve had in Austin, better than the restaurants, drinks, shows. I met Amanda when I was first looking for a tattoo, and she replied almost instantly. They work with your art and style and come up with beautiful pieces. I was hesitant after my last artist felt rushed, like I was another customer that ge needed to get through. However, I met Amanda again and Zac. I showed up early, and we had a chance to talk and get to know each other and share about our backgrounds and interests. We then moved on to the art, and I cannot express in words the meticulous, precise, steady work that Zac performed. It was on par with the churches of Europe, aligning every detail, advising on how the piece would look over tendons verses muscles, suggestions that made sense and worked.I spent about 7 hours getting the best tattoo of my life. They are impecable in who they allow to place ink on anyone that walks in, and even more refined in their craft. The lines…perfect. The orientation…perfect. The colors…perfect. The tattoos I had done here are a reflection of who they are: kind, passionate, fiercely motivated, with unobtainable mastery.I will only go here for the rest of my art, and anyone reading this should do the same

Excellent place to get a tattoo if youre at all interested. I reached out to Zac and he was responsive and helpful the whole way through and even put together an awesome design based on some pictures I sent.All the staff I interacted with were friendly, the shop was clean and has a great ambience, and the price was on point for what I had done.The tattoo itself healed fast and didnt lose any detail. Zac absolutely killed it. Professional, good conversation, and obviously extremely skilled at what he does. Definitely check them out, the other artists have great looking portfolios as well!

Melanie did my tattoo and she was amazing. She is so friendly AND good at her job, I loved working with her. The shop was just as amazing, it was clean, and it truly felt like a safe space. His team is very friendly and the shop is clean and comfortable. Zac did such an amazing job. My tattoo is very detailed and he finished in great time.
