Cora can make your dreams a reality! She is a master of her craft whose focus and vision allows her to deliver amazing works of art. I have enjoyed EVERY session with her, and will forever appreciate the heArt and soul I have experienced.

I really recommend this place for all of your body art needs. My friend recommended Wheatley to me and I understand why. She is so professional in a tattoo manner, but honestly felt more like I was hanging out with a friend vs getting a tattoo. She’s super light handed and ridiculously fast at what she does, without ruining the quality of her work. The shop itself is literally spotless, like a doctors office and art gallery had a baby. I didn’t feel like I was in a grungy tattoos parlor, I felt like I was surrounded by artists and their work.

There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was A beginning.-The Eye of The WorldI began the first 3 squares of my 53-square, full-sleeve journey recently thanks to Justin Vickers and Art Realm. Cant wait for my next session!

Andrew is incredible! He did my first big custom tattoo and the experience was amazing. He really lets the design process be a collaboration and takes a lot of pride in his work. Insane attention to detail and genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve met. 10/10!

My total experience was far more then I originally imagined. Andrew took care of me from A->Z all the way from concept, design, placement. I couldnt have asked for a better artist to work with me on my sleeve.The studio is 10/10, layout, color, galley. Im really excited to come back and get some more pieces done.

Andrew is truly an amazing artist and did my (first) sleeve. He doesn’t let you leave the studio if he doesn’t believe that his masterpiece is perfect. This is not your ordinary tattoo shop across the street, all artists here design custom pieces that you won’t see anywhere else! Highly recommended and I will come back for my next project!

Working with Nick has been a dream! Im always excited to come in. Everything is always clean and the other artists are welcoming and friendly even though I dont talk much. I love the atmosphere of Art Realm -- an open space thats extremely relaxing with not a lot of people coming and going, which makes getting tattooed here an even greater experience.

Andrew’s work is outstanding! I couldn’t be more impressed with his work and his ethics. Andrew went over everything thoroughly with me and made sure I was happy with it. The shop is very clean and has beautiful artwork inside. Highly recommended if your looking for original and professional work.

The experience I had at Art Realm was amazing. Their new establishment is well layed out and clean! The portraits hung from the walls by each artist really tell the customer how in depth and passionate these artist are in their work. Andrew did an amazing job today with communication as well as his professional inputs of what pieces fit the best on your body. Today was my first big piece with color and I can’t express enough how flawless it turned out. Super great work, wonderful customer service, can’t wait for my next pieces!

I had a great experience with Pinky Rae. It was my first time getting a tattoo and she made everything easy and relaxed. I am in love with my tattoo. She did an amazing job of taking my idea to the next level.

I went in during my lunch break and on a time crunch. I was greeted by Aaron, and he was super amazing. I told him the basics of what I wanted and then gave him creative freedom. Through chatting I found out that he’s the apprentice in the shop. He was super receptive to what I wanted and it was awesome to see my idea and his vision come to life! I would highly recommend Aaron to anyone looking to get a piece completed (ESPECIALLY if it would be your first time! He’s not heavy handed and extremely concerned with his clients comfort level)!Edit to my review: if you don’t already, follow Aaron on Instagram. He’s got some amazing talent. I got a tattoo from James over a year ago and still get consistent compliments on it. I had a sort of conceptual idea about making a flower in the style of Van Gogh, which he tackled beautifully. The shop is clean, very friendly, and the art displayed is wonderful and reminds you just how talented the artists really are. After the tattoo, I emailed James with a concern I had about the healing, but he replied quickly and comforted me. Recommend to anybody looking for a delicate and masterful tattoo.

I initially had left a poor review because of some misunderstandings I encountered and poor communication on my end. I come to realize after communicating with Andrew and James that Art Realm will go above and beyond to accommodate you and make everything right any way they can. This is a VERY professional shop with a good group of people working there. James tried to reach out and touch base with me about my project in the most professional, welcoming, and comfortable way possible. James wasn’t even my tattoo artist but he still reached out to me and checked on my project. That is what you call caring customer service. Andrew is one of the nicest people I have ever came across that really cares about the work he does. I am so happy with my experience with everyone at Art Realm and couldn’t ask for a better place to get my work done. They are very open about everything and very easy to talk to. When I left my initial poor review I was making a lot of assumptions of certain aspects and being too quick to judge. I regret expressing myself in that way when I truly didn’t understand the big picture and how much Andrew cared about my project. Now that I have some understanding and went over my project with Andrew I see that I was wrong about a lot of things I said. I am so excited about my project and I’m so glad that Andrew is my artist. I feel very honored to have a high profile artist like Andrew working on my project. Andrew doesn’t take every project that walks through his door and I happened to be the person he picked. That is honestly a dream come true in my eyes. I would recommend Art Realm to anyone wanting to get quality work and something you will be proud of. You will have this for the rest of your life so go to Art Realm and get something you can be proud of. Thank you to Art Realm for all the help and professionalism. My wife and I both got tattoos yesterday and we could not be happier. Cora did both of ours and we are both super proud of the work and the overall experience. The shop was super clean and everyone in the shop really seemed to love what they do. Our next tattoo will certainly be in the same location and we loved our artiest. I had an excellent experience getting a tattoo here. The place is clean and the art really sets the tone for the place. I felt comfortable coming in there for a tattoo. I brought in my idea and my artist, David Handy, really ran with it and made some great improvements. I was very happy with how things turned out.

Chris is absolutely amazing! I found him years ago on Instagram and I’m so glad I did! Every piece he’s done for me is as if he read my mind on exactly what I envisioned. The whole shop is full of insanely creative people, and everyone is nice and makes you feel welcome. As long as I’m in Austin, I’ll never go anywhere else for a tattoo.

Nick Baxter is an incredibly talented artist! Im beyond pleased with my tattoo and will definitely be going back for more. If youre not into tattoos, but love art, you should still visit Art Realm Tattoo. The artists that work there have several pieces on display and I believe some of them might even be for sale.

My tattoo artist works here and shes great. Clean. Everyone that works there is chill and very talented. Appointment only shop so no annoying walk-ins. Nowhere near a strip of bars so, again, no annoying walk-ins. The tattoo artists also have original works hanging up on the walls in a gallery setting.

Andrew and the rest of the crew there do really great work. He worked with me through about 6-7 months of appointments to help me get the piece better than I even imagined. Really cool studio as well with a ton of fantastic artwork from the artists

Recently got tattooed by Aaron Linaje at this shop. Ive been getting tattooed since 1990 and this was one of the best (if not the best) experiences Ive ever had in a tattoo shop. His attention to detail and level of interaction are top notch. I will definitely be back!

Andrew Matela and company are hands down the most talented and professional tattoo artists in the city. The rates are very fair, and every artist is friendly and accomodating. The studio itself is pristinely clean and welcoming, and doubles as an actual art gallery, studio, and workspace. This is a place for serious creativity and collaboration on your tattoo. David was very kind and professional. He made me feel comfortable about getting my first tattoo. With art pieces displayed through (in a tasteful manner) the facility in itself is a work of art.

Id started having a bad experience with my previous artist, so when I was ready for my new tattoo, I started looking around on Instagram, Reddit, just a bunch of places, and I came across Art Realm. Hrmm? I thought, I didnt know there was a fancy tattoo/art gallery close to my house!I kept coming back to Andrew Matelas Instagram, so I knew I had to contact him. I honestly was so frightened to contact any artist due to my previous experience. I figured he wouldnt get back to me for months, so I held my breath and hoped. I was so wrong. He got back to me the next day.We set up a consultation, and I brought a bunch of reference with me. Being a bit shy and awkward, I was so scared to talk to a stranger. But as we talked about my idea, he felt like an old friend. Plus he was pumped! I always thought my other artist hated my ideas, so I was very pleased by his excitement!My first session, I sat 7 hours, my longest sitting Id ever had previous to that, but it was so easy, because hes light handed, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Not only that he was so focused, and didnt waste my time, like my previous artist.I left so happy on my first session!There was a slight snafu with double booking one session, but he felt so incredibly bad, and man, it was better for me anyway because I had a photo shoot the next day. He texted me that evening to apologize again and said he would give me a little discount next session to make up for it.I also had a time I was concerned about healing. I emailed him and he called me a couple of hours later. I called him back and he assured me everything was fine, and said if I had anymore concerns to call or text him with some pictures. Like, wha? ... my previous artist wouldve never done that.So approx 30 hours later, and Im in love with my tattoo and cant wait to go back for my next tattoo from Andrew! Hes got a loyal customer in me (well ... if I can ever get back in again ... haha).Tattoo is Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons with Drogon, Viserion, and Rhaegal (OMG, how cute is Rhaegal squeee).

Art Realm tattoo and art gallery is home to an amazing group of world class artists. I traveled all the way from Connecticut for the opportunity to get tattooed by Nick Baxter. So if you live in the area you would be crazy to consider going anywhere else to get a tattoo.

Andrew Matela is by far one hell of an artist, great work so creative and very unique on each one of his pieces. If your looking to get some quality work id def recommend. 👍🏼👍🏼

Im probably a bit partial since my artist works here, but this is a nice clean shop, with a quiet mellow vibe. No walk ins, appointment only, and nowhere near a busy bar flanked street, so no crazy drunks wandering in looking for $10 tattoos.

Loved getting my Tatoo there. Very clean warm atmosphere. The staff takes time to explain step by step what your design will look like.

Unfortunately couldnt get a tattoo here because I didnt plan my weekend better. But their customer service cannot be beat! And the fact that theyre completely booked should speak volumes to their quality.
