Artkore Tattoo

Artkore is by far the best tattoo shop I’ve ever been in. The music, decor, and vibes alone are amazing. I mean, they’ve got a samurai statue right next to the entrance; I can’t think of another shop that’s got something that dope in it.As for cleanliness, this shop is cleaner than my 98 year old great grandma’s house (and that’s saying something, you know how old people are).The artists are all super friendly, relaxed, down to earth and TALENTED. If you’re looking for traditional Japanese tattoo, Steve’s your guy.Overall, if you’re in the BloNo area or within driving distance (or even flying distance) this shop is 100% the one to go to.Thank you guys for an awesome experience and the sickest tattoo I’ve ever gotten.

Autumn at artkore tattoos is phenomenal. The vibe of the shop is super chill, and she is completely laid back. Her work is absolutely incredible and she goes out of her way to make you comfortable in any way possible. I would absolutely recommend her to any and everyone. Best experience with an artist I’ve ever had.

My husband and I walked right in to this shop today and were able to get some small tattoos to commemorate our wedding in Mexico. The shop is very clean, full of good vibes, and friendly staff. Ricky drew up the perfect pair of maracas and had us both inked up in just over an hour! 10/10 would recommend.

Some of the best work you can find. Super friendly and chill atmosphere. You can’t be the price for the quality of work you get. The shop is very clean with lots of natural light. It’s very conveniently located with lots of parking and right next to the constitution trail.The whole place makes you feel like you’re just hanging out with some friends and not like you’re only there for business. Steve has done my whole arm and has started my leg recently. I plan to go back many more times for new work.

I saw Walter at Artkore for a fine line, minimalist tattoo. He was so great to work with - really personable and funny. My tattoo turned out even better than i imagined. GT was also awesome at helping me schedule my appointment. I highly recommend Artkore!

Alex is amazing. He took our discussion and some inspiration photos and designed the perfect tattoo. Clean environment and great technique. Still have a couple more hours for shading, but I couldn’t be happier! Thank you, Alex!!

I highly recommend Artkore Tattoo! Walter did an amazing job at translating my tattoo idea into a true art piece. His letter work was amazing on my tattoo and the color and shading he applied to the more organic parts of the design really gave depth and interest to the whole piece. All of the staff were friendly and the shop is clean and well organized. They have excellent natural light, organized tools and materials and the chairs and tables are very comfortable and in great shape. I should add that Walter also did a great job communicating with me to ensure the design we settled on was just what I expected, the placement was as I desired, and provided me with clear instructions on how to care for my tattoo. I will return soon for my next tattoo.

I absolutely love this shop and the energy that all the artists bring. Autumn is an unbelievably talented artist, she made me feel so well taken care of and worked hard to give me the perfect tattoo and feel comfortable in the process. She gave me a gorgeous full color moth and I couldn’t be happier with it. I will 100% be returning for more tattoos by Autumn.

Had an arm wrap tattoo and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Terrance was my tattoo artist. Staff was super helpful in bringing the concept to life and helping arrow down the sizing. They also were very careful and considerate of proper placement so that very everything lined up properly. Instructions on healing and home care after the fact were also very clear and I was also given a sheet that had all the home care instructions and recommendations written out for me. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to get a tattoo!

Steve tattooed my calves way back in 2003-2004. Did an awesome job, they still look new. Couldn’t be happier with my little Pearl Jam guy or my Taurus.

Artkore Tattoo, BloomingtonIllinois is Bad Ass!!!! I got a dream Tattoo from Ricky Sturdivant. The experience in their shop will stay with me forever. All those guys that lay the ink in that shop are awesome people! Made me feel like I belonged there, very important when someone is about to put a needle in your arm😃. Also I spent 4 days in there on my tattoo, so I seen all their work. All of those guys are spectacular artists. The shop is also a piece of artwork, just so cool and so clean. Thanks Ricky and Artkore for making this experience so exceptional!!!
