In general this is an excellent location. Very nicely laid out, clean and folks offering many services. Jasmine did a knockout job on a tattoo Ive considered for a long time but some artists said they could not do that level of intricate design. She did and also captured my concept better than I had envisioned. This will be my only go to from now on for certain. She is also working on an incredible color theme for my wife.

Of course always the best. Jeff did an incredible job intertwining all that I wanted. I have gone to Bills since they first open with Bill himself still tattooing. They have the most amazing artist I’ve seen in Charlotte and the place is spotless. An all around great experience again. Thanks Kenny and Frank, love you guys, and Jeff Brown. You’re the best at what you do. Incredible work, thank you so much.

My wife and I made an appointment to get a custom tattoo. Our artist was Tyler and he was great! He listened to everything we wanted and made it work. He was fantastic to work with! We live three hours away and would definitely make the drive to get another one from him.

Went in with a group of my cousins to get a tattoo to honor one of our cousins that passed away . Tyler was absolutely awesome at helping us pick out what we each wanted and even fit in one of us that didn’t have an appointment. He made each us feel very comfortable and we had a wonderful experience. We will be back . Thank you Tyler for putting up with our crazy group and thank you Kenny for making arrangements for all of us .

Kenny was so incredibly nice! I took my sister to get tattoos for her birthday and we had a tight schedule and he worked us in perfectly. Tyler was my artist and he did Amazing! I couldnt have asked for a better artist. Lyric gave my sister her tattoo and did an amazing job as well. She was so nice! I will definitely be back soon!

Preston did a great job on my back piece. I wanted a dragon and he executed it perfectly. Super cool to work with and made changes to the stencil and design without complaining or acting like it was a big deal.Definitely recommend giving his work a view and book with him!

My daughter wanted her belly button pierced and her nose piercing changed out. Russell came highly recommend. Let me tell you, he was fantastic. He made my nervous teen extremely comfortable and kept her laughing the whole time. We will return to him for any future piercings!

Russell is AWESOME. He’s easygoing, super friendly and makes the piercing process easier and a lot more fun. I love the energy he brings to his appointments and I’ve come to him for all my piercings. Most recently got snakebites and they look amazing (he lined them up perfectly!). Plan to be back to see him again in the future.I’ve also scheduled a tattoo appointment with Tyler. The scheduling process is fast and easy (thanks Stewart!). Will update this review once I’ve gotten the tattoo but from the reviews I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.

This is the best experience I have ever had getting a tattoo from beginning to end. The studio was clean and the staff was exceptional. Got my second lobe piercing by Russell at Tattoo Bills back in January, and the experience was the best! Russell is so great with all of his clients no matter their age (I believe there was a small child who got their ears pierced before me) - even though I was nervous and had hesitations, the piercings were quick and Russell made me feel confident and put my nerves to rest. Stopped in just to chat with someone about maybe getting a tattoo, my skin is sensitive and I had some questions. George was great! He reassured me that as long as I followed the instructions he gave, I would be fine. He made me comfortable with the decision and the process went smoothly.It was very clean and inviting, the spaces were private but not claustrophobic, and very reasonably priced.I am already planning my return for more ink!

**Amazing Experience and Spontaneous Tattoo!**I originally went into the shop just to get my nose ring fixed, and Russel, who handled the piercing, was awesome! My daughter and I came to get our ears pierced by Russell. Setting up the appointment was easy and communication was up front. Russell answered every question I had. I went to Tattoo Bill’s in April for a memorial tattoo. Everything from making the appointment, checking in and going back to get ready to be tattooed was very easy. My artist was Tyler. He did a really great job. It was awesome to collaborate and work on changing up my reference photo to make it unique for me. The tattoo process went well, Tyler didn’t have a heavy hand and his attention to detail was spot on. I am beyond thrilled with how the tattoo turned out. This makes my second tattoo with Jeff. Love his work. He is happy to go back and forth a bit to make sure your design is good. Great color. Efficient and makes great tattoos. My first was 5+ years ago and it’s still my favorite tattoo. All in all, great experience.

It was super easy to make an appointment, we showed up a bit early and he was able to take us. I got a septum piercing and Russell was SO fast, and funny, and I felt relaxed the whole time. Im definitely coming back for the next one!

This place has been my to go to for any artwork. I had several tattoos from here from a breast cancer ribbon to honor my mother and my wife who both are survivors combined with a rose to honor our daughter we lost before birth. Other was my Maltese cross for my fire service it turned out great also. Very nice staff at the times of my visit. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have artwork performed.

Johnathan was absolutely amazing!! I can came in with just a nose print and paw print of my dog that passed away. She meant so much to me and I didn’t know what I wanted but he came up with the most perfect design I could’ve imagined! He incorporated a very meaningful flower to also represent my mother who passed. He was kind and an amazing artist. I couldn’t be happier with the experience! I will treasure this tattoo forever!

AMAZING!!!! I had a consultation appointment with Frank for A tattoo removal. He was so pleasenat, answered all of my questions and when I asked when could I have my first appointment, he said right now 😳😅😂. I went ahead and got done. I showed him two more I had and he said lets go, right now 😂😂 I was shocked. Im not going to say it wasnt painful cause it was, but it was manageable. Remember everyones pain tolerance is different. Im getting married in August so being able to wear my dress without these tattoos is a true dream come true. Pricing wise, NO ONE beats him. Even if they did, I would still go back to Frank! We took my 8-year-old son to get his ears pierced for his birthday. Russell was highly recommended and as expected, he was awesome. He kept my son very calm, and it was a super quick, easy, and (almost) painless process. I would also highly recommend him!

Best shop around! Kenny is a wonderful owner! Very personable, funny, and a straight shooter! He goes above and beyond for his clientele. He hires the best artist. My artist Jasmine is amazing! Her colors are like no other! Sometimes you have to wait a little while to get in and can be a bit more pricey than other studios, but if you’re going to live with something on your body for the rest of your life, do t you want the best!? For smaller tats and if your early enough I think they may have some walk in appointments available.

Jasmine has tattooed me twice and its always a great experience. Shes easy to talk to, makes sure youre comfortable, and will make sure you get exactly what you want.

Had second set of daith piercings because of migraines. Migraines went away in a couple of days. Came back for a few more helix piercings. Only came back to Tattoo Bills because of Russell. Brought a friend and later her son for piercings. Russell comes highly recommended not only by me, but others that have been to him.

Russell is the best piercer ever. I moved states and refuse to get pierced by anyone else, he simply knows how to keep you laughing and comfortable even when youre super nervous I would recommend him to anyone in the charlotte area

Maybe it was because I was a walk in, or just needed minimum work added to a tattoo I already had, but the work was average. Felt rushed. The number 4 on my artwork (which is 24) is not even with the number 2, because the vertical line on the 4 is cut short. He also told me I did not need any ointment for the work, and did not wrap it since the tattoo work was minimum, however, the price he charged was not. Going to find another shop to correct this flaw.UPDATE……I had my issues taken care of with Management and I have no complaints with my tattoo now…they heard my issues scheduled me a new appointment and got the issue resolved. They really wanted to get the situation rectified, and did just that.

My second tattoo was a on-the-whim decision with respect to timing but it’s been an idea I have had in mind for awhile, especially in today’s dating / work / general life climate. I went to two other artists who couldn’t bring my vision to life. However, Kayla at Tattoo Bills got the job done & got it done right.The scheduling beforehand made me feel comfortable with the location. Kenny was professional, patient & kind on the phone as well as his emails. He worked hard to consider his employees’ calendars as well as my time (visiting from out of town). When I arrived, they allowed my best friend to bring her kids and we went with Kayla.Kayla was equally as patient & kind when hearing my concerns & wants for my tattoo. She also did not make me feel judged for wanting to see the tattoo in different sizes or even when I wanted to call & tell my mom before I got it (that’s just our relationship). At that point, I felt more than comfortable sitting in her chair and allowing her to do my tattoo.Can’t wait to go back for my next one! And maybe even for a touch up on this one because maybe the one heart should be a little larger 😉Thank you, Tattoo Bill’s!

I asked for referrals and looked around at a few places to remove a 2 year old, regrettable tattoo and found myself at Tattoo Bill’s. My experience here so far has been fantastic! Im 3 treatments in and the results are definitely noticeable each time. I even drive from Columbia SC but still worth it.- Tattoo removal is painful, but they have a really awesome cooling machine to helps numb the area during the session.- Again, the staff is super helpful and punctual. Ive always had my appointments start right on time and my visits have never lasted more than 10-15 minutes.- I’ve asked several friends and coworkers and Tattoo Bill’s was referred quite often.That being said, if you have some ink you arent a fan of anymore go straight to Tattoo Bill’s Tattoo Removal. Took my daughter to have her ears pierced. Russell was fantastic. He was a great mixture of humor and serious. He kept my teenager smiling with his silly antics, but professionally kept her informed each step of the way. I would strongly suggest him for anyone whose child wants ear piercing, but are still nervous about the process.

I recieved my first tattoo in March and then turn around in April to get another because of the great service and connection from Tyler. Defiantly will be returning soon.

This was my first tattoo at the ripe young age of 48 years old. This was a Christmas gift from my partner. I love Hello Kitty. My partner contacted the shop and told them what I wanted. Emailed the photo to use, The shop recommended that the tattoo be around 3 inches, but that was too large for me. I originally wanted an inch and a half. We made an appointment with George, and he was able to scale the tattoo down to 2 inches without losing detail. The shop was nice, clean, well lit, and had a fun vibe. All of the people working there seemed personable. George was great. He got to work immediately on the design. About an hour later the tattoo was finished. I highly recommend this shop, and George is definitely very talented!

Lyric was my tattoo artist and I couldn’t have been happier. She made sure I got everything in the design I wanted, she was filling in an outline and she understood how much this tattoo meant to me. Lyric exhibited so much care into putting it on my arm.. She was sweet and attentive and this tattoo didn’t hurt as much as any of my previous.

Jasmine was my tattoo artist and she was phenomenal. Caring, considerate and talented. I am 70 years old and was getting my first tattoo. Jasmine sketched out what I wanted and when it met my approval, she proceeded to perform her magic. My tattoo was in memory of my late husband as our 50th anniversary was the next day. Everyone who works there stop by and spoke to me. It was an amazing experience. Tattoo Bills is immaculate and I will be going back to get another tattoo before too long.

Russell is phenomenal at his craft, professional, and kind. His laid back, upbeat personality with a quiet confidence will make any customer comfortable. Our 6 year old wanted her ears pierced. When she’s nervous, she’s all business and that was no exception for her appointment. She was serious and solemn. Even so, Russell handled her with grace and professionalism, meeting her right where she was at. I knew Tattoo Bill’s was this right choice as i had a number of piercings from Chris years ago. It was my husband’s first experience in a tattoo shop and he was thoroughly impressed. I’m so pleased that the shop’s legacy lives on, the reputation is still strong and that Russell is our guy. What does she do? Have a Prince playlist playing for us at the appointment! How kind and thoughtful of the customer. She even touched up a tattoo another artist did for me. I almost cried; her touch-up was better than the original. I’ve already decided I’m coming to her for all my future ink.Also, if you’ve got some ink that’s time has come and gone, talk to Frank. He’s got you on the removal.

I got two tattoos done. She took my ideas and made them exactly what I wanted. She had to redo the stencils on one of them a few times (not her fault; my arm was being weird) and didnt settle until we both agreed it was just right. Im so excited about my new tattoos. I made an appointment for me and 2 of my cousins to come up here on a Saturday to get a few tattoos. Before coming up there I sent them a sketch of a kawaii cupcake that I had drawn up to be my tattoo. I also wanted to do a wedding band since I dont wear mine but they recommended that I dont do that since the hands get a bit more wear on them and it would fade quicker, so I ended up with just a simple heart. Trent, took my sketch and tweaked it a bit to make it a bit more streamlined and dimensional and Im actually happier with what he came up with. Speaking of...Trent was awesome! Very laid back, chill and funny. We had a blast hanging out and chatting with him. He did an awesome job on my tattoos and I would highly recommend him. Everyone at the shop was friendly and funny and made us feel very welcome.

Incredible tattoo removal experience. From this shops prompt email response, unbeatable price, immaculately clean and professional shop, and then Franklin the gentleman the performs the laser removal being an extremely inviting and professional guy.I am excited to continue to remove my tattoo with this company. I will update this with pictures after my initial 8 weeks is up, but I can tell you that I had my first session a week ago today and I am already very pleased with my results so far.Do yourself a favor and add this to your list of places you look at.

Russell was amazing with my 2.5yr old and 4yr old! They are both really shy, especially around men, but he had them at ease and joking with him almost immediately. They both got their ears pierced with minimal pain, and havent had any issues with the healing process. Would definitely 100% recommend him for all your piercing needs!

I got inked on May 11th. Also got some piercings in each ear.We were an hour late for our appointment and they somehow made room for us on a very very busy day. The parlor and waiting area were clean and comfortable (I actually fell asleep on their couch).I signed a waiver for both my piercings and my ink.I got two piercings in each ear. Each hole was $20 (including jewelry), so the total cost was $80. The piercer was a lovely gentleman who was thorough and patient. He showed me all the tools (in their sealed packages) and the sanitation products to ease my mind about their process. I felt like it was safe and it was pretty much painless.I brought in my own tattoo design, a line of intricate geometric designs, about 8 inches in length and 1.5 inches wide. I intended for my design to be inked in black with no shading. He charged me 140 for the work, which I thought was incredibly fair. He was polite and professional, with an excellent technique and very steady hand. I felt little intense pain during the inking.All in all, I highly recommend tattoo Bills for your piercings and tattoo work.

Got my first tattoo by Mike Johnson a couple weeks ago and it was a good experience. He was on time, charged affordable rates, took feedback on the initial design and redisigned exactly how I wanted, and was generally a chill dude, which was nice as a first time client.For the tattoo itself, the lines are clean and he even made some helpful edits that I think made the design translate to the skin better from the initial drawing we used as a jumping off point like adding some shading in certain areas.The facility itself was nice, clean, and comfortable.

I like this place and I love their piercer guy Russell for sure. Hes the best at what he does! But this place is the DMV of tattoos/piercings when it comes to wait times. Even when I made an appointment I was still made to wait an extra 30 minutes. Without an appointment youre looking at an hour or more. Dont come here unless you have all day.

I’m 59 years old and decided to honor my sweet mother who passed a year ago, with my very first tattoo. She loved sunflowers, and Jeff did an amazing job with it. Jeff and I graduated HS together, so it was a no-brainer that I have him tattoo me.

Exceptional experience - From beginning to end.Working with Frank was an absolute joy on tattoo removal of my right half sleeve. Worth every session. Wouldn’t change it. Learned a lot. Thank you all!

The shop rate is set no matter who tattoos you $100 an hour. My artist spent 30 minutes prepping stopped for 10 minutes the first time when a little blood showed after shaving tattoo area till I got it too stop. Stopped mid design to go out and smoke a joint or some kind of THC vape pen for almost 30 minutes, came back in and finished. Spent a total of 2 hours and 34 minutes ( my daughter started a timer when he started prepping, stopping Everytime he stopped.) And they Charged me 300 dollars when finished and he expected a tip which I consider that extra 26 minutes they charged to be his tip, so he got nothing extra. I have a half arm and hand sleeve and multiple other tattoos that he hasnt spent 3 hours on along with 6 others of my family that now my preferred artist somewhere else has done perfectly and his charge is at his discretion which he does great on charge and makes at least a $50 tip when finished. Hes fast and does great work, and I believe 330 for 2 and a half hours with a 50 dollar tip (380) is the highest weve paid.The artist at Tattoo Bills did a great job dont get me wrong but for what I got, minus time spent doing extra curricular things shouldnt have taken But 2 hours max imo.Charge experience really has me nor multiple family members not going for a tattoo again.Now their piercing guy and charges are okay. My daughters gotten many piercings there and theyre great. Just think when it comes to charges for tattoos the artist and customer should come to an agreement on cost. They should be able to negotiate respectfully and come to an amount

I am working on getting a removal of the monstrosity tattoo on my lower leg.So far Ive been three times and it has lightened up considerably.Frank is super nice and easy to deal with.The process of removal is definitely MORE painful than getting the actual tattoo but worth it .. looking forward to the end results.. lesson learned make sure the tattoo is something you really want before you get it . Yes! To celebrate my 66th birthday and the love I have for each of my grandchildren, I decided to get a flower garden tattoo. Each flower represents one of my grandchildren. I have zero regrets. I so far have had 3 removal sessions on my sternum and the experience with Frank and all the staff here has been awesome! Having a tattoo removed from this area is painful but Frank is so kind and personable the session goes by very smoothly. He is very accommodating with his scheduling and pricing. It’s best not to have any expectations when getting a removal done as it takes time and there are different factors that all play into the removal process that he will go over with you. If you are thinking about getting a tattoo removed check this place out. You won’t regret it!

Frank has been doing my tattoo removal for quite some time, (I have lots of tattoos I regret) and every time even though the removal can be painful, I am always excited to go just to see frank.
