Cant begin to say enough about Tattoo Me Charlotte. The place itself is in a great area and has a bright, uplifting vibe. Everyone who works there is super friendly and clearly enjoys each others company. I have two tattoos from Joe who is an absolute gem. He clearly takes great pride in his work and both times has left me with stunning tattoos that always get positive comments from strangers when Im out. Hes very courteous and makes time fly by. Hes a painter too, how cool is that? Not sure Ill be able to go anywhere else!

I have been seeing Stacy for years, and to see her flourishing as a business owner makes me so happy! I’ve gotten several tattoos from different artists in the shop, and I’ve always left with amazing artwork that people everywhere comment on. I have work by Stacy, Violet, Sami, Joe, and a few artists no longer with TMC (as of early 2024). Highly recommend Stacy and Violet, and I’m very impressed with Sami’s growth as an artist. I look forward to getting another piece from her sometime.

Wife came in for a consult. Her tattoo artist Violette and her hit it off immediately. She’s super cool, funny, lots of positive vibes. Definitely has me ready to finish my sleeve once and for all.

What an awesome 1st tattoo experience for me. This place…they have fun you can tell and all the employees get along and you can tell they take pride in their work and truly love being there. My first tattoo but will not be my last…and I’ll be back for sure!

I absolutely love my tattoo! Violet was such a great tattoo artist and I will be back to get another one done by her! She was very thoughtful and caring during the whole tattoo process and I felt like I got a one of a kind tattoo. Violet talked to me the whole time and I had a good time. I would highly recommend her and this tattoo shop to anyone! The inside is very nice looking and it has a unique vibe inside. You can tell all the tattoo artists get along and its like a small little family.

I got 3 tattoos done so far by hector, he’s now my go to guy. I love the design work and overall quality. He’s not heavy handed and he works fast but efficient. Nice lettering too. There’s other artists there that I would like to get tattoos from, in time I definitely will. The shop has a cool vibe to it, you feel comfortable there. I had special circumstances that required me to be distant from people for health reasons and they were more than accommodating with trying to schedule during slow hours. Tattoo Me Clt won me over

From the moment walking in and being greeted by Heather, who helped book my appointments (both times that I went)To getting tattooed by chad who’s absolutely amazing at what he does and how focused he is while he’s tattooing. An absolute great experience. Great people there and it’s such a cute shop. I will definitely be going back.

We really enjoyed working with Stacy. She is super down to earth and helped with the creative process but definitely didnt pressure one way or the other. She made the experience great. The shop is really cool inside. They renovated it in December. We will hopefully be back here for the next tattoo!

My first tattoo and favorite one I have was done by Violet!!! I get compliments on it every day!!! She is so talented. I also just appreciate how nice and accommodating they all were. Made my first tattoo experience as comfortable as it could’ve been.

Working with Stacy has been a great experience. She is very talented, genuinely loves what she does, and is fantastically goofy and fun to be around. We worked together to create a design I would really like and she was able to complete nearly a half sleeve full of color in only two sessions. I can not recommend her enough!

I can not say enough about Stacy and Tattoo Me Charlotte! She was professional and prompt; everything was already drawn up and we got to sizing. Her personal area was clean/organized and was set up with beautiful art & pretty little hanging plants, very relaxing! She got me set up on her iPad so I could watch movies during the most vigorous parts (since it was on my back) and we got to chat between. She could tell several hours in that I was starting to really feel it and offered breaks and numbing spray; so helpful! Her art is absolutely gorgeous & that’s what initially drew me to her & her style, but she has such a positive energy and kind smile! She’s just the kind of person that makes you feel comfortable. She provided me with excellent care instructions and the healing process has been going flawlessly. Thank you so much Stacy and TMC!

Customer service and professionalism is top tier here. Theres a warmth to the place that kind of makes you want to stick around. Amazing and passionate artists, whomever you choose or end up with. I honestly wouldnt want to go anywhere else.

Chad Moore did an amazing job on my first tattoo. I had unknowingly sent him a reference picture that he could not use for the stencil. He simply asked for a different picture when I got there, and had it drawn and ready to go in about 10 minutes. It turned out even better than the original, with subtle twists. The whole experience was very positive and laid back. Great staff, great music, would recommend, will come back.

I drove up from Atlanta over the weekend to get my first tattoo from this shop and I am glad I did! The staff is extremely friendly and my artist Hector was fantastic! The atmosphere of this place is awesome as well and very inviting. I will definitely be back soon.

I have been to tattoo me Charlotte twice now for tattoos, and I have to say I have been incredibly impressed. Ive seen Violet both times - the first time I had an image already picked out that she helped me tweak just a smidge, and the second piece she really helped me create a unique one of a kind piece that I am proud to represent. Violet personally is an amazing artist and an amazing person. Tattoo me Charlotte as a whole offers a great environment and a great experience all around. I think they tailor each piece to you and what you want while also keeping your expectations realistic. I have an appointment set for a third tattoo and I will continue to come back to tattoo me Charlotte. all artists are incredibly talented I think everyones fairly priced and I think the experience as a whole is one that I would recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo, especially a custom tattoo.

Stacy did a beautiful piece for me on my inner arm. It is different than most of the work she typically does and I so appreciate the fact that she did my tattoo for me! I got my first (and only tattoo so far) here in 2019, and I had a great experience. I would absolutely come back for any future tattoos. The place is highly rated and really clean, which is what drew me to it. I felt super comfortable. I had an inspiration picture but didn’t really have a full concept planned, but my artist sat down with me, and we came up with a great design that was exactly what I wanted. I’m still in love with it!

She has a unique style and talent that is outstanding. Her entire team is professional, friendly, and passionate about their art. The shop is not only very cool & eclectic, but also incredibly clean. Awesome experience here. Totally worth the wait to get in with Violet. I had no concrete references for her but she made a designed better than my imagination and walked me through everything for my first tattoo to make me feel comfortable.

I had an amazing experience getting a thigh tattoo with Hector!! Super professional and hilarious! The shop talk in there keeps the pain of the tattoo at bay! The shop kept in contact before the appointment and made sure to her down all of the details I wanted with my tattoo. The day of the tattoo was great except I forgot my water. Don’t do that. They normally have water, but ran out that day. This was during the time that water bottle distributions were touch and go due to the pandemic. So be a responsible client and don’t forget your water! His lines were so crisp and he paid close attention to detail, and my idea come to life!!😃😃 I’d give this place 10 stars if I could! I highly recommend everyone going there! I know that I’ll be back!

This is hands down the best tattoo shop. Everyone is so very talented. I have personally been seeing Stacy for about 10 years or more. She has ALWAYS done a 10 Star job. She always cares about her clients and always wants to make sure your tattoo comes out the right way. This is also the absolute cleanest facility Ive ever walked in. I recommend them to anyone that asks where I got my ink done. Love this place !!

I have never been anything but ridiculously pleased by the staff at Tattoo Me Charlotte. Violet is my artist and has been for several years now, working on a watercolor half sleeve. She has taken my ideas right out of my imagination and made them come to life on my arm. My tattoo is extremely custom and she’s never once backed down from exactly what I’ve wanted. Can’t wait to go back in April to finally finish it, although I am sure I’ll be back again after that also.

Ive had several tattoos by Violet and I couldnt be happier. Her work is OUTSTANDING! She listens to what you want and she helps build on your idea and the end result is phenomenal. I cant wait to get back into the shop for more work.

Very professional, love the studio space, consultation and designing process was really straightforward and honestly they give you designs that are 10x better than what you thought up yourself. My wife had a portrait done of her grandmother that passed. A magnificent piece done by Dillon. He was kind, fun and has a softer hand than some artists we’ve been to. The shop was clean and tastefully decorated. Staff was friendly. My wife was tearing up; and not from the pain, but from how Dillon really captured the essence of her. She has gotten all kind of compliments and other tearful remarks from family that knew her.My wife and I love tattoos and will be back again when we visit Charlotte! I contacted Tattoo Me after another shop in Charlotte had to cancel my appointment that had been scheduled for months, and they were able to fit me in same day. Kevin did a memorial tattoo on my wrist. It was my first tattoo and he was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable through every step of the process. Natalia is also amazing. I will definitely go back if I decide to get any more tattoos!

I had such an amazing experience working with Stacy at Tattoo Me! She sat down and designed the tattoo with me, and she made great recommendations about changing my idea a bit so that it was more cohesive with the tattoos that I already have. The tattoo had a pretty painful placement (ribs - ouch), but her warmth and friendliness made it so much better to sit through than it otherwise could have been. Love the design, love the tattoo, and love the experience.

I haven’t gotten a tattoo from here YET, but my friend a couple years ago showed her page on IG. When I tell you I became OBSESSED with her (Stacy) work. Then she got on Ink Master and I watched her progress as an artist. Now I’m even more determined to get a tattoo by her. Even looking at the other artists work you can tell they all love what they do and perfect their work with each tattoo! I highly recommend going here. I have referred so many people to this girl. Whether they’ve gone I don’t know, but I definitely plan on going soon! You should too!

I had an amazing experience when I went in for my anime tattoo. The artists are extremely professional, kind, and really strive to give you the best tattoo as well as best experience. If I remember correctly the guy I went to was Hector and he did an AOT tattoo for me on my upper arm. He took my vision and made it a million times more than what I ever expected. The facility is super clean and you can tell they strive to make sure it stays that way for safety of clients and themselves.Will most definitely be going back and I have been recommending them to everyone!

Dani and Violet are amazing! I went tonight to get my septum pierced and Dani knew I had a previous bad experience elsewhere. She took her time, made sure it was 100% perfect, and when she was unsure (due to me having a super small sweet spot) she called Violet up. Violet has tattooed me before and knows how sensitive I can be to pain. She made sure everything was okay with the piercing before it went through and even held my hand! These girls are so patient and sweet. I adore them so much! Thanks for everything!

I had a tattoo by Stacy and the process was amazing. The shop was clean and beautifully decorated. The design process was great as well; we talked about the design and talked through any changes to make sure the tattoo was exactly what I wanted. I would go back for my next tattoo any day!

My wife was tattooed here by violet. She charged for a design (I have been around tattoo shops for 30 years, and no shops do this.) She was happy with her tattoo until she realized it was traced and just ever so slightly changed from another artist.How can you charge a custom design fee and have the audacity to just copy someone else’s tattoo? Highly don’t recommend Violet. I can’t speak for anyone else at this shop.

Absolutely love this shop!!!The vibe is very different from what you would think of a traditional tattoo shop. Its very laid back and chill. The two girls, Stacy and Heather, that own the shop are bubbly and full of smiles. They were super approachable and helpful.Last week my friend and I went in to look at some artist portfolios in the shop. We had a long conversation with Stacy and Heather. They listen to what we wanted, offered an artist in their shop that would best fit the style we were looking for.... but then they went a step further and gave us recommendations of other artist not in their shop but around the area to go check out.They were not concerned about making money, Their goal was to make sure we got an amazing tattoo whether it was at their shop or not. We ended up going to explore those other artist before deciding to go back to TMC to set an appointment for our tattoo.Also their merchandise is AMAZING!!! I ended up with a windbreaker and a crop-top hoodie... I couldnt help myself

This business is high quality from booking to after care. I have had multiple tattoos from Tyler and also had piercings from Natalia. This group is down to Earth and very thorough. I recommend them to anyone who wants a tattoo or piercing experience. Will be back!

Got my first tattoo with Violet earlier this year. Communication when making my appointment, asking questions, getting rescheduled due to COVID, and then getting in earlier than expected due to a cancelation was all handled well. Violet was great to work with on the custom design of my tattoo. With it being my first and the subject being something personal to me I really wanted it to be “perfect” and with a couple reference photos and conversation with me Violet nailed the design! With it being my first she kept it real and talked through what to expect. Not sure what my next tattoo will be, but I’ll definitely go back to Tattoo Me Charlotte.

Plan in advance if you want one of the artists that takes on custom projects. You need to email your idea/concept and may have to wait several months for books to open or for your appointment. It is worth the wait though. Ive seen Stacy (last year) and am scheduled with Hector in a few weeks. There are varied styles in the permanent artists and they do feature visiting artists from time to time. Highly recommend.

Got my very first tattoo about a month ago. Violet did it and I couldnt be more happy with it or the experience. Getting ready to make arrangements with her for my 2nd! Got the 2nd tattoo by Violet and love it as well. The atmosphere in the shop is great and the place is extremely clean.

I called last minute for a tattoo, fortunately I got lucky because drew had a cancellation. I love his work he did a great job. Ill admit before him I was really into the Realisms of tattoos, well then he did a Neo traditional tattoo on me and I was beyond happy. Ill be going back real soon!The women there are very sweet friendly and will just chit chat with you kinda gives you a home vibe like you belong there! Stacy and her staff have curated a niche tattoo experience for her clients. The shop is bright and colorful and reflects her signature watercolor style. While getting stabbed with needless is rarely pleasant, she tries to make it as comfortable as possible with an iPad and headphones for Netflix, and an assortment of snacks and water for those longer sessions. It was easy to collaborate with her to make my vague idea turn into a gorgeous design beyond what I could have imagined without her artistic input and honest opinion about size, place, and color choices. My piece took 3 sessions to finish and while I dont know what my next one will be, Ive already booked my next appointment. I cant wait to let Stacy Tattoo Me again.

This is the only place I go for tattoos anymore. The staff is awesome and the shop’s atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Stacy, the owner, does fantastic work and always makes sure you leave with an amazing piece of art. The entire staff is incredibly talented and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

My wife and I received tattoos by Violet and she was awesome. She took time, designed and made suggestions. Both of us are extremely happy. I look forward to getting another tattoo from Violet.

Wow! I just read the comments below me. I have never had any issue with Stacy or anyone in the Tattoo Me Charlotte group and have gone to her for 3 years now. Stacy definitely goes above and beyond and is, in my opinion, hands down the best artist that I have been to. Will be a long time customer!!!

I had a great experience during my appointment here.. the inside of the shop is very visually appealing and most importantly clean. All of the artists were polite, informative, and incredibly professional. Maren did a beautiful job (as always) on my custom arm fillers and I would recommend this shop to anyone.

TMC is amazing! They have such incredible talent in their studio and their work is one of a kind. I havent seen any other local artists that are able to accomplish the watercolor style that they do here. Definitely must book an appt!

So, I got a tattoo by Stacey a little over a year ago, where we discussed a CUSTOM mermaid design. However, today 7/9, I discovered the same exact tattoo on Google images & Pinterest, dug a little deeper and found the Original artist. My experience was a little off compared to my friend who has been tattooed there several times, however, I was happy with the finished product and just decided not to go back, as I do think think they have a preference (SKIN TONES) as to who they want to tattoo. Im more upset that I didnt google mermaid tattoos before hand -___-

Rude and condescending staff which included the assistant manager. Lack of respect for me as a client and did not take accountability for their mistake but blamed me. Overall unprofessional!!!For one the manager Stacy was not in ear shot of what Dani said to me nor the assistant manager to whom I later spoke to, the assistant manager had come in after I left. Therefore all the manager and assistant can go upon is heresy. I told you that I went on to your website, i.e research, on if I could get my ear pierced, information not on your website. It is not the drive that angered me but the continued lack of accountability from you and your staff. When booking it is your job as the professional to ask questions if Dani did not feel comfortable she could have phrased it in a statement. Both the assistant manager and Dani blamed me for having little knowledge of a profession to which I didn’t go to school for. Neither said “I am sorry I know for next time this is what I need to do”. It was I, Dani, assume this and you, client, should have done this. Both things extremely unprofessional. I am a business owner and I have never once blamed my client for not knowing something regardless if they are pregnant, cancer, or diabetes. It is my job as a health care professional to educate and give them safe options, if applicable, in regards to their health care needs. All I wanted from both parties was accountability and not be blamed for my lack of knowledge even though as I said previously I did go on your website. I did not get that and as I see you refuse to humble yourself and admit you were wrong. Also, I contacted and researched several tattoo and piercing shops, they post about pregnancy and breastfeeding on their website. Pretty sure they do not use the excuses “I assume” nor “In the 3 years we have been open”. Thank you and many blessings!

I cant speak on anyone else. But bobby William rescheduled me 3X. I live 75mins away & twice he rescheduled me as I was about 1/2 way in my trip to come get my tattooo. He had a lot going on he said so I was understanding as being sick, car accident & a double booking incident. After ward it took him a week to respond my text & thats after I told him I wanted my deposit he *responded within 30mins. Customer service & communication would been nice. Than took another week before he mail out my deposit. In all i wasted 3months of my life. His work looks good from what I seen but not worth the inconvenience. Thankful to not had him start as the sleeves would cost about $6k & around 6 different session. The staff However was nice & tried offer me a different artist.

I had high expectations since I had been referred to them by someone who had a really nice tat done. The first one I was disappointed bc she didnt put any artistic creativity and then was short (rude)with me when I was explaining to her my vision. She told my fiance and I that she would be designing for over an hr but she didnt. Only copied. I got it bc I didnt want to lose the money, the 2.5 hr drive or the spot and didnt hate it. It also takes 6 mth or so to get in which is another reason why I thought they would be good.The second tat done by a different artist so I gave the shop another chance. This tat turned out to be off symmetrically and I am having it fixed and finished. It also costed way more than it should have been. So, not happy but I will not be back nor will I refer anyone. Not saying that the other artists are not good but the shop doesnt seem to be ran well. Thats my 2 cents.

Made my appointment 4 months in advance!!! When I arrived (after taking the day out of work) I was asked to wait because they didnt add my appointment into their new system and book another person in my spot!! Not to mention I confirmed my appointment just days before..I was PISSED!!! (I could have stayed at work and made money) After waiting about 3 hours I was finally called to come back. Stacy was tired and frustrated, and acted accordingly. I dont feel I really got the attention that I was paying for. Im happy with my cover up.. Was looking for something a little more than what I got... But, Oh well...
