TLDR; Consulted with Michael for 3 different designs, placed deposit, made clear that I would pay for all designs created even if I only got one tattoo, extremely difficult to communicate and schedule, very little documentation or communication during the consultation or after, half of my deposit was kept after not wanting to move forward when he didnt respond to my requests for revisions on the designs. Got the first designs but they are poor quality and not at all what was requested. Poor communication and customer service skills. Zero stars would NOT recommend.Had a consultation with Michael, gave printed out detailed notes, printed out photo examples and told him to reach out anytime with questions etc.Consultation was on a Thursday. Scheduled appointment for following Wednesday.Left consultation with most of my questions unanswered, was told that he would get back to me with drawings, sizes and prices before my appointment.I made it very clear that I was unsure of which drawing I would like, the location I wanted it , and that my final decision would be based on cost and size etc, I also made it clear I was happy to pay him for his time on the drawings even if I didn’t end up using them for tattoos, I also wanted an approx cost for just the drawings. This was all listed on my printed notes.I made it clear that it was important that I get those things prior so I didn’t waste his time and could have my mind made up before returning for my appointment. I wasn’t asked to but I left a deposit of $200. No paperwork was filled out about a refund policy etc because I wasn’t given any paperwork to fill out.The day before my appointment, 4 days after my consultation. I’ve gotten no word from him. I reach out in the ways he told me to. No one answered at the shop phone, I reached out by email and instagram and didn’t hear back until 9pm that night. The night before the appointment.I didn’t even know what time my appointment was just that it was the next day. His response was lacking but we chose a time, I reminded him again that I needed sizes, cost and to see the drawings before I came in so I didn’t waste his time.He said he would get them to me, the day of my appointment which was scheduled for 3pm. I took the day off work, my mom took the day off work. I again got nothing from him, no communication, no answers to my questions and no artwork. I reached out to him at around 1:30 asking again for drawings and prices so that I could make a decision PRIOR to my appointment. He responded with the drawings and nothing else, no words just pictures.None of them were what I had asked for, I wanted revisions made, I told him that. No response and it is now an hour before my appointment.I cancelled. I still had none of my questions or concerns answered. He never even said he would make the changes I asked for just rudely said he needed another picture, so I sent it. No response. I gave him another 4 days and nothing. No new drawings, no questions, no communication whatsoever.I decided to ask for a refund of my deposit, expecting to pay him for the artwork even though I didn’t get what I asked for and none of my requested revisions were made. I was met with another rude response, more excuses and was told he would be keeping $100 of my deposit since he “worked” on this for me.I had someone else draw up the same things with great communication and revisions made within 24hours. I was extremely happy with them. They charged me $25From beginning to end I can find countless times I asked for approx sizes and approx prices and never got an answer. Every bit of communication I got from Michael was after I initiated contact and his responses were short and rude like I was bothering him. He never communicated a price for the drawings alone because he didn’t communicate anything, leading me to feel ripped off when he blatantly stated he would be keeping $100 for them. Please don’t let him waste your time and money like he did mine.

Tashana is the sweetest artist ever! I found her immediately after I moved to Colorado and she was able to make my dream tattoo, of 3 years, perfect! She is incredibly accommodating and does everything she can to make my busy schedule work with hers.I have gotten over 6 different tattoos with her now, and I have had a great experience each time. She has made me comfortable understanding how different tattoos feel on different areas and always checks in to see if I’m feeling okay or need a break.She goes over how each area heals differently as well, and always offers touch ups if needed. The only tattoo I’ve ever needed a touch up for was my hand, but it was because I itched it too much during healing. She was happy to help, we got scheduled quickly and the whole process was easy and stress-free.Another thing I like to do is send her pictures of what I like, and tell her what I like about each separate one, and she is able to create custom designs that are perfect for me.Thank you to Cheyenne Mountain Tattoo Company, and Tashana, for being my favorite place in the springs to go get a tattoo!

Mike is THE MAN! I’ve trusted him to design and tattoo my vision. I’ve wanted a sleeve for years and knew now was the time. I wanted to start with a picture of my late sister’s guitar, and I am speechless with what I got. Mike’s talent is unmatched. He understood the assignment and straight knocked it out the park!!! I cannot wait to see the entire sleeve take shape!He nailed every fine detail and was meticulous in making sure it was a replica of the guitar. Ive had Mike Culley do two tattoos for me. I get compliments on both of them on a regular basis.

Stopped in here for flash tattoos with a bunch of friends and the tattoos we recieved were not the best quality by Tashana. Lines were not clean and touch ups were essential. When I booked my first touch up, she got me in timely but didn’t match the lines to the original tattoo. I understand finger tattoos don’t heal well but I’ve had another and the lines are great and healed fine by another tattoo artist. I also have a sleeve and am familiar with tattoo care.Tashana had said originally I could come back for another touch up no problem at any time. We both tried to contact and I contacted and didn’t hear back for months. When I messaged again she said she no longer accepts touch ups even though she said she would honor it prior and would charge a deposit now. I don’t feel she had great customer service and wasn’t honoring past agreements. It would have been better to recieve a sorry or clear communication upfront. Won’t be going back as the lines are messy and I have a tattoo I’m really unhappy with.

Tashana is my go to artist as she’s extremely talented and great to work with she’s been nothing but kind and professional. All the tattoos she’s done for me have had impeccable line work, shading, and still looks great!

April Lauren is amazing!!! She is kind, smart, and a gifted artist. She can explain the whole tattooing technique to you as if she was a dermatologist. Her watercolor technique is beautiful and stunning. She really listens to what you want. Her work space is clean and very private. I can’t say enough praise about her. She is a hidden gem.

Do not trust the manager to stick to his word that they will provide a touch up after the initial tattoo. They will claim it is free and then try to charge you an additional fee for it even though it was promised with the original work. With the amount of good tattoo artist in the Springs, no way should a shop with dirtbag ownership/management stay in business. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Absolutely great work! The environment is terrific and April is fantastic at what she does. All you need is an idea of what you want and she will bring it to life.

I hands down recommend Michael Culley and his crew Red and Tashana they are the BEST. I have gotten 4 tattoos there now and they are always fun to hang out with and their art is phenomenal.

I can’t say enough good things about Cheyenne Mountain Tattoo! We worked with Jana after a friend of mine recommended her, and she was wonderful! There were three of us getting tattoos and she was fun and friendly the whole time. This was my first tattoo and she did a phenomenal job. We will definitely be back!

Made an appointment with April online, since I live out of USA. My idea was to take the opportunity of my visit to Colorado Springs to get a pretty good souvenir.April was really helpful since the first moment. I told her my idea, and she was able to came out with a perfect design. Then during the tattoo session (it lasted between 5 to 6 yours), the music and playlist was great, April was always checking on how I was doing, if I need to stop, water, etc. and it was just amazing to see how she mastered all the colors and Technics to get the final tattoo. Just great!! Place was also nice. Price was totally fair, considering all the work April put into the Tattoo.Being my 3 tattoo and the first one in USA, I can clearly say Cheyenne mountain Tattoo and April are the best tattoo experience so far. Highly recommended!!

The entire experience was all encompassing! From the start of my idea, Michael Culley made the art better than I could have ever imagined. He worked with me from the start, the studio was very clean, Michael was extremely professional, and the atmosphere relaxing. If you are looking for a studio that will take care of you and your artwork/vision, this is definitely the place. I will be back for another piece.

April Lauren was recommended to me by a good friend, she was able to fit my brother and I in for a same day sketch and tattoo appointment on our ribs. She was fun, competent, and gave us an AMAZING deal. Im taking my wife in a few days to see her again!

I had a great experience with my first tattoo here. Jana did a phenomenal job with the variety of design elements I requested (scrollwork, shading, and ink splatters) and was fun to work with besides. I liked the friendly, comfortable atmosphere of the shop as it made my first tattooing experience as low stress as possible.

I also knew that Phil, at Cheyenne Mountain Tattoo Co., does that style better than Ive ever seen. I drew up my idea and took it to Phil. Within ONE day, Phil had taken my idea, combined it with his artistic eye, and made this tattoo better than I ever thought it would be. He was able to work quickly while maintaining a HIGH quality tattoo. I am SO pleased, and peoples jaws have dropped everywhere Ive gone! The shop itself is VERY clean, welcoming, comfortable, and the music was right to my liking! My Man and I will certainly be back for more. My cousin got her head tattooed here and the guy was awesome!! He has fantastic work, and so does the other artist in there. Not only was his work great, but the place was comfortable to be in, and The prices were waaayyyyy better than expected. Great quality for the price for sure.

Michael Culley does the most amazing tattoo art in Colorado Springs. His designs ideas and use of color and detail is amazing . My daughter recently had a full lower arm done with spectacular results .
