So Stacie is by far one of the most dedicated and talented artists I know, I travel 2 hours from Trinidad just to get work from her and would gladly follow her to any shop she goes to; however o have to say I was pretty impressed with the quality of the shop and the artists there. Incredibly clean environment, artists were all incredibly knowledgeable and respectful and do quality work. My new favorite shop in the Springs.

A super friendly experience and the tattoos were exactly what I asked for. Stacy did an amazing job and I will be coming back for more work.

I had a great experience at Lefty’s. I had the pleasure of getting tattooed by Stace, she was amazing with the design I wanted and gave great creative suggestions for a unique piece. I can’t say enough good things about her as an artist and a person. Can’t wait for my next design from her.

Been going here for years now and have gotten 8 plus tattoos from here. leffty and a minority of the tattoo artist are awesome. Recently got a tattoo and wasn’t happy with it and the artist was very rude and she took days to even get back to me. I was just asking for a small touch up for the tattoo I got less than a month ago. She was trying to charge me the price I paid for the small line work tattoo for the touch up. The tattoo was also a memorial piece for my grandfather who passed away. I have never been charged for a touch up from any artist from lefty’s ,let alone have a very rude response back. Very unprofessional and for that reason, I will not be returning to lefty’s for future tattoos. As a tattoo artist, you should want your clients happy with your art and should never be rude or mean to a customer. Very disappointing :( TATTOO ARTIST NAME: Glenna Faye

Went to a Post Malone concert and got him to sign my right forearm and I wanted to keep it on me forever. Im pretty wimpy when it comes to tattoos but the staff were amazing, they kept me grounded and I was done in 15 min. So happy with how it turned out, I would highly recommend Leftys Tattoo. Thanks for cementing a memory that will live on/with me forever!

Have been coming to see Ajay at Leftys for a while now. Love the work and the positive interactions Ive had with everyone there. Very clean and great after care. Have had new work, touch ups, cover ups all done here. Two of the images I have posted are works in progress. These are some of the works my friend and I have had done here.

I have been here a couple times. Its my favorite place to get tattoos in the springs. The atmosphere is awesome and the artist are funny when they banter to one another. I got really lucky and was set up with Jacque my first time in and I only intend on her inking me in the future. I have a appointment with her next week 🙃

Kia did amazing work on two tattoos for me. I always get nervous going somewhere new and I have been looking for a new tattoo artist for a while. From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable and welcomed. The shop was clean and everyone was friendly.

I ended up not liking the tattoo that I got from this shop. The quality of the tattoo is good but for my first tattoo I had something specific in mind and was open to suggestion. The tattoo artist I got ended up not making any attempts of trying to make creative alternatives to my tattoo idea and ended up talking me into something that at the end of the day Im just not happy with. The tattoo they did do was of high quality and will last a long time but ended up looking generic and just not what I wanted.

I am from Houston Texas and would 110% fly back here just to get more work done at this shop. Chicho and Lumpy were AMAZING. They did PRISTINE work for me and my group of friends (5 walk ins total) all within about 2 hours. They made great conversation and overall made the experience superb. 10/10 would recommend!!

Glenna was so professional, quick and sweet!! She took extra time to make sure that every detail of my tattoo looked amazing, even though I was her last client on a very busy day. Took me as a walk in and rocked it. So happy to have the opportunity to get ink here, highly recommend to anyone in town or visiting.

We were welcomed in right away. My artist was Lumpy he was a great dude and he took his time. My husbands artist on the other hand was the opposite. The young man (cant remember his name but he wore black nail polish) seemed to rush both of my husbands tattoos because he had a noon client which had nothing to do with us. After my husband finished he was a bloody mess under the selophane which Ive never seen myself as Ive never had a tattoo artist be that heavy handed. The line work was also a mess. He seemed to have an attitude when my husband showed him the potential designs he wanted and it shows in the tattoos he was given. The birds came out great but the emblem on his arm is a mess and isnt clean at all. Dont take an appointment if you arent experienced enough to complete it in the time you have. Thankfully my husband only got an outline of the tattoo that turned out a mess so that our artist at home can fix it. Steer clear of the dude with black nail polish.

Lumpy is awesome a couple weeks ago I came in wanting a very large difficult sleeve that several other artists in town wouldnt take on. We went over what I wanted and scheduled an appointment. Came in today and got going and 9 hrs later we have all the line work done and it looks amazing. Looking forward to the next appointments to do all the color.

Yesterday my friend and I got tattoos done by Jacque. She did an amazing job, such great work and for a great price! Would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone wanting a tattoo. She took her time and really made sure she was giving us exactly what we wanted. Even stayed late, after hours. 10/10 keep up the great work!!!

My mom, my sister, and I all wanted to get matching tattoos. This was my first time and I was so nervous. We walked in, and were immediately greeted by Beagle who was kind, and drew up different designs to match our liking. Beagle tattooed my sister and I while Lumpy tattooed my mom. The overall experience was amazing. Not only were the tattoos AWESOME, Beagle and Lumpy were kind the entire time, and even stayed 30 mins after closing to finish our tattoos. Beagle was patient when I wanted different placement, and made my first experience so memorable. If I am ever in the Colorado Springs area again, I will definitely come back. I have a great experience each and every time I go to Leftys ! Everyone there is extremely talented and do the most amazing work Ive ever seen. Special shout out to my favorite artist Ajay Resha. Wouldnt let anyone else work on me ! He does amazing freehand work and cover ups too. I would definitelyrecommend stopping by and checking them out !

One of the best tattoo shops I’ve walked into over the past couple years! I’ve been searching for a place for a long time and this is it. The environment is extremely clean and comfortable, the staff is hilarious, accommodating AND professional! I had an amazing experience with Nicholas and have a perfect tattoo. 10/10! Glenda does an amazing job. For if its got tattoos together and they are all really good. She keeps her station very clean and sanitized everything in between.

I have gotten 2 tattos from this place the first on was great it was Done by Chicho he was amazing super light handed the lines look remarkable loved his work. Then more recently went back and I got a tattooon my outer wrist by Steven he was heavy handed the lines are not great and some are already blown out.

Raven is awesome!!!! I came in with an idea and he turned into exactly what I wanted! Pricing was reasonable, it was super clean, and everyone was very friendly! I will definitely be back:)

Paid $117 for a tiny round tattoo thats about 1 cm in diameter. The lines are totally inconsistent, not even visible in some areas. The color is faded and splotchy. Overpriced and poor quality. I have many other tattoos where the work is precise and the color bright, so it is not my skin thats the problem.

So I went in about 2 weeks ago to get a simple tattoo done yes in some parts it was complex but the guy that did my first tattoo did a fantastic job there is no fading no mess ups nothin. Then I go in to get this one done it’s the same thing but is a sad face not a happy face. In this one if you zoom in on the left bottom you will see where a black line meets a red line which they shouldn’t. The lines are too thin the red lines are starting to fade and the red in the eyes are fading. I know red ink doesn’t really stay in the greatest. The second Artist was Austin and the first one was Aj unfortunately Aj isn’t there anymore. The one with the thicker lines Aj did and the one with the thinner lines Austin did

Me and 4 friends were looking to get some mountain tattoos for walk-ins and they were able to squeeze all of us in and they finished all of our tats within 2 and a half hours and they came out fantastic with great line work. Lumpyworks and Chicho are great artists!

Went in got a tattoo from Chicho and hes such an AMAZING tattoo artist!! , Im supper in love with my tattoo and i cant thank him enough .Everyone there are supper friendly and give off such a chill vibe!!. Overall the best shop Ive been too.

Where’s the 0 star option?? Where to begin… I called ahead of time to schedule an appointment and was told to walk in. When I did so, they tried to turn me down even though I needed 45 minutes of work an hour and a half before closing. Beagle was beyond rude! To a point of downright disrespect. On top of that the line work that should have been the easiest looks worse than a 6 years olds doodles. Beagle was SO heavy handed that my arm is literally BRUISED!! No joke, my rib cage didn’t even hurt as much..The tattoo itself is something I can definitely live with until I find a much more reputable artist to fix his carelessness, BUT the service was absolutely miserable.Also, IF you choose to go to Lefty’s, PAY WITH CASH!! They double charged me, then when I called to get it corrected, they said there was nothing they could do and I simply had to wait for the charge to fall off my account.

Went in for a quick small tattoo, tattoo was done nicely but not filled in all the way and my colored areas are patchy. Not very professional or friendly to be greeted by. Will not return, sticking to my artist in Denver

This place sucks. Don’t recommend this place. I asked for a very small simple tattoo. 1in x 1in. They didnt tell me a price before preparing for the tattoo. 65 is what I spent to get a messed up tattoo. Very unsatisfied. I came in there wearing a sweater covering my tattoos. From my opinion i think they thought it was my first time because when i told them that the price was alittle to high, they told me “do you even have any tattoos”, like i didnt know what i was getting into. I would say they take advantage of fresh meats.

Leftys is an awesome shop! It is very clean and professional, and the artists are a lot of fun to hang out with. Pete has done four pieces for me recently and his talent and precision is incredible. The prices are reasonable and Leftys is the go to shop for any of your tattoo needs. These guys are true artists and you can see it in their interactions and work that they love what they do.

Dougie is an incredible artist! Its been awhile since my last tattoo, but I was instantly at ease, I knew i was in skilled hands. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly, and you will NOT leave disappointed.

I came in this shop as a walk in. I had self inflicted marks on my arm that I wanted covered up with something spiritual. I was blessed with Jacque. First session was Godlike. She covered all my scars on the first outline. My second session was a cover up where another artist had messed up my arm. Jacque connected me a sleeve and covered up the other shops butcher work. The third session was a contuation of the previous cover up with alot of shading. She became more than just an artist. She gave me advice on how to handle my complex PTSD. We ate lunch together. She comforted me when my family died. On the forth session I got some detail added on my lower sleeve. On the fifth session, I got some detail added to my upper sleeve. When I left the shop and saw the back of my arm, I didnt understand why one of my tattoos were shaded out, that I thought was going to remain. I came on here and left a shifty review in anger. I didnt call my artist first and tell her why I was upset. NEVER BASH A SHOP IN A REVIEW BEFORE TALKING TO THE ARTIST...Tattoo rule number one. I unknowlingly disrespected her. She did me a favor fixing my butch work. She did me a favor covering my scars. She did me a favor telling me which book to order to help me battle my Combat PTSD. She did me a favor giving a damn about my feelings.. I paid over 2,500 on my sleeve and I now have to find a new artist. I will never find another artist like her.... I was upset and I stand behind what I said, but I should have respected her and said it to her😔 This is my only means to tell her and the owner that I apologize. As I look at my arm all I can do is cry, and I deserve it. Just know you are forever apart of me cause I asked you to tattoo your signature on me. I am sorry Lefty. I tried to call and make it right. Somethings words cant change. Respect your artist, never tattle to the shop.

Walk Ins are definitely not welcome, at least for us. I called twice the week before and once the day of to make sure that what we wanted was okay and so that we would know what to do and not inconvenience anyone. Yet when we (4 sisters and our mom) walked in wanting a small treble clef and some text, the guy at the front desk was inappropriately rude to us. Rolled his eyes several times, mumbled about us to our faces, laughed at us, and said some uncalled for and rude things to us. Through all this, we were calm and respectful, and werent even bothering him. He would call us over, then get mad that we didnt have an immediate answer to a question we thought our artist would be helping us with, not him. This was a terrible experience.

I went in to get a tattoo today only to be shown the door by artist AJ only because apparently I tweaked what I wanted before he even got started on the tattoo. I explained this my second tat after 10 years and the first one was a freehand. He kept saying You should have this conversation before. Well I am sorry I even approached this place in the first place and happy I did not get something I belived ( tattoo I wanted) in by them. They are well , rude I must say 😀

Great experience! I’ve now had two tats done by Lumpy. His line work on both pieces was flawless and all points are sharp! Comfortable environment and friendly staff. I will likely return for a third piece.

Second tattoo here, both done by Lumpy. First was a awesome cover up, and this second one is a memorial tattoo for my beloved service doggo who died suddenly last year. Thanks, Lumpy- you seem to always get exactly what I see in my head on my skin despite my complete lack of artistic abilities 🙃

I just got my first tattoo ever here, and now Im thinking about get a whole lot more here! It turned out so well and was beyond my expectations! I had Lumpy as my artist and he made sure that I understand everything that I had to do as far as aftercare! I would definitely get another!

Lefty’s has a great atmosphere and an amazing body of work to draw from. I would highly suggest putting this shop on your list of if you are in the market for some ink. Lumpy was so personable and really takes great care to make you feel at ease. Couldn’t be happier!!

I have been getting tattoos in the Springs for about 10 years now and have never had such a great experience at a shop or with an artist. I few months ago I had them touch up a piece I already had and yesterday I had a scheduled apt for a new piece with Shawn who was badass. He did a piece on me and my gf and we are both extremely happy with Shawns work and the shops service, cleanliness and professionalism. I could not recommend them more as the best shop in the Colorado Springs for getting inked.

I wish I could give more stars! Dougie was my artist. He did an AMAZING job. First off, I walk in and the Grateful Dead is playing: automatically a f***ing fantastic impression. Dougie is super gentle, talented, and extremely kind! I even have some bands to go check out after getting inked by him. This tattoo means a lot to me and Leftys made it absolutely perfect in every way. Will always recommend Leftys!

Got a piece done this past weekend with Jacque and it looks absolutely phenomenal!. I showed up with an idea and she drew it up into something super sick. The shop was clean and well kept and all the Covid precautions were followed. Hope to be back :)

Hands down, I love the artists and there work!!! My husband and I were able to walk in and get a tattoo within days unlike other tattoo places that didnt have openings for weeks! We are so impressed with the time they spent and the work we had done. 🖤

Amazing work these guys put out and such a fun environment! I love the fact that everyone from the military, to the soccer mom and everyone in between feels comfortable here! The shop is super clean ALWAYS and all the guys are very friendly...... if you want a beautiful custom piece of work this is the place to be!!

Cant say anything about quality of tats or enviornment. Im sure ots a great place for walkins and general business, however, I had made an appointment. On my work day for a tattoo with a specific artist. Whom was not in the shop upon my arrivial. I then learn he wasnt even scheduled to work. I had spent an hour of my time only to be told the artist I had made a concrete Appointment with was not there. And that the artists in house could not help me. (Understandable as it was a very specific request, added to my disappointment regardless.) I wouldnt trust someone with art of permanence with such an disorganized schedule. Unprofessional at best. Again the art is fine. And im sure they are great at tats. Just the abhorrent disregard for an appoitment is sad.

Ajay is the best! Went here for my 5th tattoo and am sooooo happy I did. Wasnt happy with my past 4 artists, not gonna bash but have def been to the best in town and theyre not the best, Leftys is. Using them for all my future ink needs*TIP YOUR ARTIST DONT BE A DICK*

Jacque did a wonderful job with the rose on my neck. She is a very professional and talented artist. She was also very polite when I arrived at the shop and over the phone.

Extremely poor treatment of myself, as a veteran with both physical, and mental disabilities.Remedial shop at best. They tolerate, not accommodate. (At most) “Professional artist,” Cancelled appointment at last minute, never return calls or texts for his initial appointments, and ignores communication attempts. Shop has ONE good artist and that’s who the star is for. Artist admitted to working on a drunk person that periodically stopped by just “because he had money,” which is illegal I’m pretty sure...most are too busy playing yahtzee in the front of the shop to actually return calls, set appointments, none of the above. They DESERVE to get shut down for their overall lack of competency, professionalism, empathy towards those that keep them safe at night. All but that one artist should not have jobs. Pathetic.

We came in on Friday the 13th and had an amazing experience here. Artists were personable, respectful and courteous. 10/10

Wasnt the best first time experience.... went to get my first tattoo here and right off the bat the guy was a little rude to me. Gave him the piece of paper of the tattoo I wanted and basically told me my drawing was horrible and that he wanted to redo it. Then right before he put the paper on me that makes of stencil he told me the placement I wanted was weird and that I should go with the placement he suggested when its my arm and my tattoo. Then he placed this new plastic tattoo healing process (Dermalize) on my arm and told me to leave it on for 4 days.... 4 DAYS! And I even tripled checked that wording before I left bc that seemed like a long time. Looked up the website for Dermalize and it says dont leave the first piece on for more than 24 hours. He only sent me home with one... glad I did my research. Other than that they were really nice and Im happy with my tattoo.

I paid a deposit of $50 for a back piece to be drawn out. All I got was a photoshop piece. The design given was a bunch of google searched pictures cropped and put together by photoshop. I want art not copy and paste. Lefty said the deposit was to be used only on the back piece design that I was not ecstatic about. I told him I wanted to use the deposit towards another tattoo instead but he said the deposit couldn’t be used towards any other work/tattoo. I asked for a refund thereafter and he stated it was nonrefundable due to the time it took him to google search images and put them together on photoshop. Although I understand it takes time to google search images and put them together, people don’t pay deposits at tattoo shops for this type of lazy work. I appreciate people’s skills and hand drawn work and for such a big piece that takes 100% commitment because it’s permanent, he had trouble understanding this. This is the main reason why I wouldn’t go back here because he is one of the owners and if he’s okay with getting by with little effort then he isn’t my guy. If you enjoy hand drawn tattoo sketches I would not go see lefty or lumpy as he also goes by.

Leftys is an amazing shop. They are all very friendly. I got some ink done by lumpy, hes a very chill talkative guy and does some amazing work!

Came in to get a price on a tattoo could have gotten a better response from the no parking sign out front. Small short hair girl was very rude and had better things to do like sitting in her chair .

Called about getting a piercing because it shows on their services piercings but they told me on the phone they dont do piercings.

Joe did a small 60$ tattoo that faided within 3 weeks. Was a major waste of time and money.
