Outstanding experience at West Side tattoos and with Juan C. The shop is extremely clean and well run. Front desk staff were polite and professional. I did a quick walk-in consult with Brian, talked about the cover up I wanted and he said Juan would do a great job. Scheduling was easy and Juan was ready when I arrived this morning. He had a great drawing ready. We discussed size and colors-he was spot on with his suggestions. I had a great time getting the tattoo. Juan is a blast to talk to and made the time pass quickly. A VERY low key, low stress, enjoyable day. I’m extremely happy with the tattoo, pricing was good, and the overall experience was top notch.

Came in as a walk-in appointment & was able to get paired up ASAP with an amazing artist by the name of Clayton. He absolutely slayed my idea for a Joker laugh tattoo I’ve been wanting to get for a while now. He did a full band around my right arm & will definitely be coming back for more tats!Super clean environment as well with friendly staff, highly recommend and easily the best shop in the springs!

I stopped in hoping to get a walk-in appointment during my vacation, and they were very accommodating. I showed a reference photo to Liv, and within an hour she had it drawn out exactly like I imagined. All of the staff were friendly and professional, and the space was cleanly. Liv far exceeded my expectations and provided me with my new favorite tattoo. Im definitely planning to come back for more work in the future!

Carl did an amazing cover up that I have been living with and hating for years. It used to be a pretty breast cancer ribbon and after years of getting it touched up and re colored it looked terrible. I had an amazing experience at this tattoo shop!! The facility is super clean and professional & the staff were all extremely friendly and warm welcoming. My artist Miguel Wom was in town traveling through from Spain and they have several tattoo stations set up for private work to be done. Another artist Jamie stopped by my station at one point & documented some of the process with her camera for me which was awesome. Staff also offered me some organic pineapple juice during the session to keep my blood sugar up. Overall had a great experience at this shop and would recommend!!

My friend and I are visiting from another state. We booked online with Clayton and we could not be happier with our tattoos! He did a fantastic job! He was friendly and easy to work with. The shop is clean and they have great customer service. If you are visiting from out of town I absolutely recommend them!

Juan was awesome. We came in with an initial concept, but because of my wifes recent diagnosis of brain cancer we had a last minute change request. Juan happily made our desires come true! My tattoo will forever be a symbol of the love I have for my wife and the love she has from her family of friends.

Artists, great. Ive been to three of the dozens they have and all have been professional and welcoming.The reception staff as of Sept. 13, 2024 (the short haired female and the blonde male) are condescending and rude. The female will bad mouth you once she hangs up the phone and the male is in general short and looks down on you.Ill spend the credit I have on my acct and move on to a different shop.

Vicky was so great! This was my first tattoo and she helped make the process so easy and comfortable. Also very easy to talk to which helped when I needed a distraction. Her work was also on point! Could not recommend enough!

I stopped in on a whim. And Very glad I did… they set me up with the BEST person I could have asked for. He was ready to leave and decided to stay. (3 extra hours 🙏) He doesn’t usually do small tattoos, but I am so THANKFUL he did. We had (at least I had) the best conversation with him and he is extremely kind and made me feel very comfortable.. 💖 I definitely will go back again when in town. The shop is clean, the front desk workers are super kind, and the artists are amazing.I specifically had Jean Paul, and i had an amazing experience with him. He made a design based on what I wanted and reached out to me the day before the session to make the piece. He works fast and very clean. His artwork is out of this world.

Got a half sleeve from Liv. We were originally going to do a cover up but decided to go bigger. It is an amazing color realism piece of Saurons eye and the battle between the Balrog and Gandalf. I will be going to Liv for future pieces and have recommended her to everybody!

Ive never gotten a tattoo and had not been inside a studio before, so this is a raw, first-timers impression; I was there with a family member who was getting his first ink. The facility is attractive and well located; the staff mostly engaging and professional. I say mostly because we were left alone, waiting, for considerable lengths of time with no explanation multiple times during our visit.First, after a brief introduction, our artist vanished for well over a 1/2-hour to make his own sketches, even though we had supplied digital files containing exactly what we wanted done. Is this customary? I couldnt say.Once the work started, there were more breaks, prefaced with little more than, Ill be back in a few minutes. This was disconcerting for several reasons, not the least of which was my constant awareness that we were being charged by the hour.In the end, we were there for four hours, we were charged for two (which felt fair; it was a 3-5 piece on the forearm, and the artist did put in 2 hrs of work), and the recipient was very pleased. I should add that our artist stayed well past closing time - with the shops full cooperation - in order to finish the job.During that time, we perused samples on the wall and in portfolios that each artist has near their station, as my wife is considering getting her first ink. We did not see much in the samples that matched what my wife wants, so we will likely not return if and when she decides to go for it, but her son is quite pleased, and I dont mean to say that theres generally any reason not to make the trip. We were confused noobs who ended up with a positive experience; definitely give this place a chance.

Carl Sanders is the man; I came in to see about getting an idea old tattoo on my left arm touched up (it had become badly faded due to poor long-term care on my part), and he came up with a sweet cover-up design in under 30 minutes and was able to get me inked right then and there due to an opening in his schedule. He took my old tattoo and made it bigger and better, and, given how silly I felt just going to get the old one fixed, I felt very lucky and was extremely satisfied with the result. Carl is a master of his craft and he was able to do this like it was nothing; he also made me feel very comfortable and was a great conversationalist. I have no doubt that I’ll go back there again, because West Side Tattoo is also just an awesome place.

My artist Keith was great! He took my idea and elevated it to be tattoo worthy and the tattoo itself was really quick and easy. Super pleased with how it turned out.

Amanda is your go to for realism. She took her time with talking to me on what I want and the overall placement of the tattoo. She was so awesome to work with. She did a cover tat for me and I almost cried with how amazing it came out. ILL BE BACK FOR MY SLEEVE!

Best tone for a tattoo ever. This being my first time getting a real piece I was nervous, but I knew I made the right decision booking with Terioshi. Prep was simple, fast, and clean. During tattoo he kept checking on me, offering me snacks and liquids, cleaned and sanitized after each section of the tattoo including the tattoo itself, new gloves, paper towels, and needle heads. Ive never seen so much dedication. His personality is easy going and understanding. The entire experience is unforgettable in the best way possible. I absolutely love my new tattoo and look forward to it as a memory. The only negative I have is now my standards are set up for what he has presented me from every artist I meet. Ill definitely be coming back to this shop for future work. Thank you so much!

I get all my tattoos by Juan, he is great! My only complaint is the music… every time I come it’s the same tired playlist and no good metal music. I’ve tried requesting songs but I guess they aren’t allowed to change the music. That’s kinda cruel considering the artists have to sit and listen to the music 24/7 lol

I love my tattoo from last year, but everyone Ive talked to has said I got ripped off, bad - especially since the picture I showed and was quoted was based on the size, and detail, my tattoo was no where near the size I wanted or was shown to her (the artist)... But I still paid quoted price, for half the size of the tattoo. Sadly, if your new to tattoos, artist like to rip you.

Vicky Ellis was my artist and she is an absolute GEM! She listened to me as I explained what I wanted and she was so kind and accommodating when I asked for little things about the design to be changed. She also nailed my mothers handwriting and was able to get the flower to look even better than I imagined. I got my first big tattoo at WST and I couldnt have asked for a better shop.I had a great experience with the tattoo artist (Nesty) and the entire team as well.Brian (the owner) was exceptional throughout the entire process, ensuring I had the best experience possible. He was always willing to understand and find a solution to some of the concerns I mentioned. Even with the after-care process, he was always very receptive and helpful.About Nesty, I dont think its necessary to talk about how talented he is (go take a look at his Instagram), what stood out to me was his professionalism. I had 2 sessions with him and when I went for the second one, although I was very happy with the tattoo, there was a specific part that I wasnt completely satisfied with. Not only was Nesty 100% receptive to my feedback, he agreed and managed to fix it with great quality.

Egle was my artist and she was amazing. I knew I wanted a wolf but didn’t know exactly how I wanted it to look like and she drew something for me that I absolutely love. It was a very cool experience. Egle is super talented.

I gave Aaron an idea of what I wanted and he freehand knocked out 9hrs worth of full color work in 3 hours. I expected the first session to be an outline and I walked out with a full color masterpiece! I cant wait for our next sessions! Highly recommend 10/10!

Its only been a little over 4 days and my tattoo looks AWESOME (the slight indent in the picture is from my jade bracelet). Lettering is perfect as in I cant find a flaw perfect. Still a tiny bit of residue from the protective bandage but that should be gone in the next few days. Following the aftercare to the letter. Zachs needle control is inf*ckingsane. How he managed to tattoo on top of my veins and I never bled is beyond me! These are definite investments totally worth the money. The Husband and I are already planing our next tattoos and are definitely coming back!

I have received two tattoos from Drake Drastik and he has pulled through and through both times! Excellent hospitality in general from the whole store and other artists and front end crew. Or whatever they like to be called. Its a great environment and team and would recommend time and time again!!!

Got a caduceus on my pec, 3.5 hours in the chair. Carl Sanders is beyond incredible. I won’t go to anyone else for my tattoos. When he retires, I will as well from my tattoos.

My husband and I recently got tattooed with Clayton. He is very talented, nice, and clean. My husband got more of a realistic tattoo and I got a fine line feminine tattoo. Both styles came out great! Overall, the whole staff is very nice, all the artists are very nice and talented, the business is spacious, comfortable, and clean. If you are planning on coming here just make sure you make your appointment with time because they are pretty booked up.

The best shop in Colorado. The artists they feature and guest spot are incomparable. From Neo-Realism pieces to patch tattoos. This shop offers everything you could imagine and the artists are absolutely amazing. Artists works with you and are very responsive throughout the entire process.

This was my third tattoo from Westside. The place itself is very nice, clean, and all the staff I have worked with have been professional and helpful. My new one today was by Hannah Shea, and she did a fantastic job, both with the design and the tattoo itself. I couldnt be happier, I would definitely recommend.

Great shop with very friendly staff and a very unique mix of incredible artists from around the world.I received fast responses when I emailed the artist (Jean) to discuss what I was looking for. Booking was straight forward and fast. Jean, Brian and the rest of the staff made me feel very welcome while I was there. Jeans artistry is top notch, and I left with an incredible piece. I absolutely love this place. They were so gentle and kind to my daughter when she came here to get a piercing done and she was so nervous but they made her feel so comfortable and very happy her entire visit. They deserve nothing but the best.

Always a great experience. Carl has done multiple small pieces for me over many years. He’s also done my boyfriend’s smaller piece and he will be going back for his larger pieces in a few weeks. My sister has also had him seamlessly continue a cherry blossom vine by hand without a stencil or reference that was done by another artist. He’s traced/drawn by hand at every appointment and I’m always so impressed by the precision. He is so quick and efficient during appointments which makes for a great artist for first timers too.The shop is clean and has great service from start to finish. This shop has improved greatly over the years and I’m glad they’ve added Carl to their team.

Kate Perets is an amazing tattoo artist. She kept in written communication with me about the scheduled tattoo day and about the tattoo design concept. She presented great ideas for the tattoo design and completed the best tattoo that Ive ever seen. She covered a previous tattoo of a rose with a tiger and her tattoo that she created is absolutely stunning. She is the greatest tattoo artist that Ive ever known.West Side Tattoo is a modern, stylish, extremely clean business building with many excellent tattoo artists. Amanda is amazing! I got a pretty big tattoo and part of it was a coverup. It took a full day and her focus + endurance is so impressive. The piece itself is also beautiful and you can’t even really tell it was a cover up. She’s also very sweet and the girl at the front desk was very accommodating.

I just sat for a couple hours on an elbow piece and I can’t say enough about how awesome it was. The shop is awesome. The vibes were awesome. I got my tattoo done by Clayton and I am so stoked about it. Favorite tattoo I have for sure. Highly recommend Clayton and Westside Tattoo. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I had a fantastic experience for my first tattoo.The shop was able to get me in the next day with Sabrina, who gave me at least 5 design options for the tattoo I wanted and made the tiny correction I asked for with no issues. She was professional and perfectly clean- as was the entire staff. Even the man at the desk was nice to me when I messed up the deposit process. I felt so comfortable and taken care of. I can’t wait to be back and see Sabrina again for more art.

West Side was great to work with! Sasha was easy to contact and transparent about pricing. She also did an amazing job with the tattoo! I’m so happy with how everything came out. She was supportive and comforting, which cultivated a safe environment for me, which I needed since this was my first tattoo! She was incredibly detailed, and you wouldn’t expect that from how fast she was done! Overall an amazing experience. I will definitely be returning soon!

Clayton specializes in American traditional tattoos. I gave him a design I really liked and he turned it into something which ended up being exactly what I wanted. He is super detailed, great with shading, and super kind and a 100% would go back to him. Im just waiting for my tattoo to heal and then Im going to upload the amazing picture of the lighthouse he did for me. The picture I am uploading here still has the protective layer on it but it looks amazing even with that on it.

My husband and I eloped in COSPGS. While we were out there we decided that we wanted to get our first tattoo together and we wanted to be an outline of the Rocky Mountains 🏔️ with our date. I asked my makeup artist where she would recommend and she said Wild West Tattoo, they are amazing I called them and though they were absolutely booked they still made it work for my fiancé and I as we were flying back home the next day. Liv took care of us, we both had never had any tattoos before and she went in great detail and explained everything. She was amazing and we love our tattoos!

Absolutely love this place. I recently moved to Colorado this summer and it was important for me to find a good tattoo shop with good artists. My friend told me about West Side Tattoo and showed me the pieces she got there and I was in love. Of course Im going to stalk their Instagram and follow them for updates and check out all of their different artists. I wasnt planning on getting anything done until next year but when I saw a post about a special guest coming at the end of November from Brazil that specializes in fine line I had to send in an inquiry to book with her. Unfortunately Im only available Sunday and Monday, the days the shop is closed but when I called to schedule an appointment with Daihane Rocha, they said that Monday would work and Im so thankful because today Daihane did my piece and I absolutely love it. Ive never gotten such a fine line tattoo like this before and with so much professionalism from her and the shop! The shop was so easy to find, I felt welcomed when I walked in, the seating area was so spacious with lots of seating, very clean, and huge! I will definitely be returning and checking out stationed artists at West Side.

Came in today for my appointment with Carl. Reviewed the final drawing of the tattoo, it turned out great. Again everyone was friendly and helpful, shop was clean . We got started on time, everything went well, was comfortable, felt at ease, good conversation. Carl asked how I was doing during the process, let me see during the different phases and colors. Was very pleased with how the tattoo turned out. Already talked about my next one. Definitely recommend Westside and Carl for tattoos. Thank you!

Five stars for Alivia and five stars for West Side Tattoo as a whole! My tattoo was priced well for what I got and the service was speedy. Carl made my tattoo look great! I had a previous tattoo 3/4 of the way laser removed and a flower coverup… Im super happy. I cant see the name at all and the shape of the flower fit my hip perfectly!Im also a total wimp and he made a lengthier tattoo seem not so bad… Hes an awesome tattoo artist!
