Arrows and Embers Custom Tattoo

I reached out to Luna after seeing her amazing work about getting my dogs paw prints tattooed. She got back to me within 24 hours very timely. We talked about what I wanted and she had a cancellation which opened up a timeslot for me. She got me in a couple days later, we went through what I wanted and she got to work! She is a great great tattoo artist if I could leave 10 stars, I would!! The whole time we chatted about life and the dogs, and it was like talking to someone I’ve known for years. I have a few other tattoos however, this tattoo and tattoo experience has been the best yet!!

Luna is absolutely amazing!! She is such a talented artist, and makes the whole tattoo experience very comfortable and fun. My friend and I both had tattoos done by Luna and it was fantastic! She really takes an idea and makes it come to life. I could not be happier with how my tattoos came out, and the entire experience was fun and comfortable! Highly recommend!!

This place is great! Luna did an amazing job and I’m obsessed with my new tattoo. It was so fun working with her! She is the sweetest soul and so fun to talk to. She showed me what she drew up for my tat and nailed it! I immediately fell in love with it which goes to show she really listens to your needs and thoroughly plans out her work. I can not express how amazing Anastasia is! I havent had work done in almost 12 years. The work I wanted done was important to me. I had to cancel twice because of COVID issue. The team here was understanding and great. Eventually I got in and was able to start the work. It isnt 100% done but so far its looking amazing. Yes its take a long time but you cant rush perfection.(Update) I was finally able to get back in and finish the work I cant thank Nastia enough. She was flexible and honestly is so easy to work with. I will be coming back again for more work same with my wife.

Recently was tattooed by Luna at Arrows and Embers and everything about it was amazing! The tattoo is beautiful, she worked with me to get the placement perfect and even changed some of the design the day of to make it everything I wanted! I love her stippling work! She had a light hand, so even the sternum was as painless as possible. She was easy to talk with and generally a really cool person.I would recommend her to anyone! Amazing experience and I’m so so happy with the end result!

Just had a watercolor tattoo done by Anastasia and my mind is blown. I sent her some pictures and gave her a description of what I had in mind - and what she came up with for artwork is incredible and unmatched. It is far more beautiful and detailed that what I had envisioned and captured what I wanted perfectly. I am in love with it and want a full sleeve (and more!) from her and only her.

The artists are clearly talented based on gallery. My review is based on professional courtesy and customer service. I met with the artist. Designed a tattoo. And gave a 50 dollar deposit for a booked appointment to tattoo. In the meantime, I have changed my mind. Arrows and Embers stresses their cancelation policy. I canceled 20+ days before the appt arrows and embers stress the clients responsibility but dont hold themselves to the same standard. I canceled my appt. No response. I requested acknowledgment of my request to cancel in a second email. No response. I used the same thread to cancel that was responded to for the booking. Show potential clients and prospective referrals more respect. Oh! Please cancel my appt for 3/20 at 11am. This is my 3rd request

Anastasia did an amazing job with my tattoo! She worked with me through my ideas and really brought my vision to life. The shop itself is also very clean and everyone is super professional. I highly recommend this shop and Anastasia to anyone. 💜

Luna did a memorial tattoo for my brother in law who took his life in May of this year. She exceeded my expectations with the design and has just been incredibly kind before, during, and following the tattoo appointment. Friends and family loved the design so much that well now be using the design to make t-shirts for the Nashua Walk Out of Darkness walk to prevent suicide. I am so pleased with my entire experience at Arrows and Embers and with Luna specifically! Id recommend her to anyone. This photo was from the DAY OF the tattoo.

First session healed completely with no issues, with the expectation that the second session will do the same. I worked with Sean Ambrose for nearly 2 ½ years on an extensive and ambitious full-sleeve project. I came to him with an idea that was initially impossible to achieve, but Sean made suggestions that turned the piece into something truly extraordinary. He is excellent at building your trust. I knew I was in good hands during our entire experience together. And his talent is impeccable. My sleeve required very detailed portraits on a smaller scale, and Sean blew my expectations out of the water. He is extremely professional, clean, friendly and the entire Arrows & Embers crew makes you feel right at home the moment you walk through their doors. I first wandered into Arrows and Embers when it was located on Pleasant Street in downtown Concord about seven years ago. I was looking for an artist to do a cover-up, righting one of my past mistakes, and I went to a couple of shops whose artists said it couldnt be done. However, when my then-girlfriend (now wife) and I went into Arrows and Embers, we met Sean and he was immediately optimistic and excited, yet tempered and realistic. We discussed ideas and settled on something which turned out fantastic after only two sessions. This tattoo goes from my armpit to my waste and you would never know it covers another. Needless to say, we were ecstatic and I have since never considered another artist.Ive since had many more tattoos from Sean over the past seven years. In my humble opinion, he is the best of the best. Anyone who has given him a bad review should really take a good, long, difficult look in the mirror (because chances are, if you think everyone else is crazy, its probably not everyone else!). Some people are just plain unreasonable; it really is true that no matter your disposition, you cant please everybody. That said, Sean is easygoing, very easy to talk to about anything and exceptional at his craft.If you are considering getting work done by Sean, be prepared to wait or book your appointment as early as possible, as he is often booked out for ten months to a year in advance. Considering this, his prices are more than reasonable; in fact, he could easily command a higher price and people would pay it. if you are looking for flash tattoos from wall posters, dont bother because Arrows and Embers is a custom tattoo shop. If, however, you are looking for art that makes you happy every time you look at it on your skin, then you couldnt pick a better artist or a better shop.I would be remiss if I didnt mention the responsiveness of the people working in the shop, and this is especially true of Jenn. Shes always friendly and it adds significantly to the vibe of the shop.Everyone in the shop is extremely friendly. Arrows and Embers hands-down has the best artists and the best atmosphere. Im always looking forward to my next session for the art and the conversation.

I recently dropped in for a three hour sitting with Sean at this location and had a killer time. The store was really cool and comfortable to be in, the space where he tattood me was really comfortable and semi-private. The staff are super friendly and talkative and detail oriented.As for the tattoo itself, Sean and I had a quick consultation a while back and agreed on some changes to my original idea, which was very straightforward. When I sat for the tattoo he also suggested a few changes to the composition on the fly which made perfect sense, now that its done Im glad we made those changes. He was really cool to talk to during the sitting too!Two weeks later and the tattoo looks killer, its my smallest tattoo but it was also the easiest healing process Ive been through. Follow Seans advice! I personally cant wait to come back for more.

I found Arrows & Embers after doing an exhaustive search for someone new to do my second sleeve. I live in MA so I started by looking for artists that had been to multiple tattoo conventions in New England. Sean was on my short list of artists to meet having seen his name pop up in Boston and New Hampshire (where he placed first in mens and womens categories multiple times). I met with multiple people because its important to me that the artist not only has technical skill but is a good person. Seans portfolio speaks for itself, but he is by far the nicest, most down to earth, artistically sound professional I have ever met.We met for a consultation and planned out something that I was really excited about. Multiple sessions later, Ive ended up with a piece beyond what I hoped for. It is beautiful, detailed, vibrant, and looks like I have an oil painting draped around my arm.I definitely look forward to collaborating with Sean again. Do yourself a favor and check him out. Youll probably have to wait a while before your first actual inking because his reputation has grown and the referrals keep coming in, but hes worth the wait. Would you rather have your permanent, life long piece done by someone with tons of availability, or a line of fans waiting out the door?

Hands down the best tattoo shop Ive been to! They have 3 very talented artists all with different specialties and all are amazing! Sean is my artist and always will be. His color work is absolutely to die for and looks just as fresh in year 5 as it did on day one! If you are looking for epic artists in NH they are right here at Arrows and Embers!! Had a half sleeve project completed here with Sean, and beyond happy with the end result. The shop is clean and orderly, but the energy is still casual and relaxed. The other artists are all super friendly and definitely interested in each others work.As for the actual tattoo process, this is a custom shop, so no flash or art to pick out from a book. Worth every dollar for the skill and experience. They provide thorough after care instructions and even checked in to see how I was healing.It felt much like hanging out with friends while getting inked rather than sitting in a chair and riding out the pain. Definitely one to the best shops in NH!

Recently had a really fantastic tattoo experience here. The vibe of the shop is so relaxing and welcoming. There is a bit of a wait for any of the artists there, but they were able to get me in sooner than originally scheduled (would have been well worth the wait even if not!). My session with Amy couldn’t have been better. She’s an impressive artist and awesome person. Will definitely be back!

I cannot thank Sean Ambrose enough!! He took my idea and made it better than I could even imagine. The tattoo he did for me was GORGEOUS!! Line work was amazing and his use of color blew my mind. On top of all that, hes friendly and a great listener. My overall experience was WELL WORTH the hour-long drive, and I cant wait to come back as a returning customer.

I’ve been driving over an hour to get tattooed by Will for over a year now and will absolutely continue doing so. He’s very professional and strives to give you the best possible tattoo. He’s excellent with taking an idea and adapting it to ensure it works well as a tattoo and for the area of the body. Very clean lines that heal boldly and cleanly. I got tattooed by Will Self today and it was a great experience. I scheduled the tattoo within the week of getting it and Will was able to take me in; I was very happy about that. The shop was clean and Will was respectful, professional, and talented. Very clean lines. He did exactly what I had in mind. He was also fun to talk to. Would definitely get more tattoos from him!

Just started a full back tattoo with Will, I can’t say enough about Will and his tremendous knowledge and skills! My five year search for the best artist for me has ended! Everyone from the owner to all the employees (and even other clientele) are all extremely friendly and the shop boasts a great atmosphere, and incredibly talented artists, of course. Will Self is my artist as I lean towards Japenese styles and he mustve been reborn as an artist 7 times, as his extensive knowledge on the art itself, and of course skill, is extraordinary and must be one of the best, if not already, top oriental style artists based out of NH. About a month ago my wife and I had Sean ink us with our first tattoos. We waited five months for our appointment, and all we both can say is it was WELL worth the wait! Sean runs a clean operation. Hes very friendly, and we both got to know him while he did the work he does so well. Sean has a unique creative side to him that we think shows when he does his work. We both had fairly simple tattoos done, but Sean did an AMAZING job. He captured EXACTLY what we wanted. The lettering he did for me tells the story of what I wanted. I wanted Celtic with a flair that looks modern but captures my heritage. My wife had her lettering done with some shading (that Sean suggested.) It looks amazing! Ladies if you are worried about have art done that has fine lines look no further, Sean is your artist! The lines on my wifes tattoo are clean and VERY crisp (mine too). One of the best things about Sean is when its your time, he focuses on you, no one else. A CLEAR advantage to his shop is it’s a custom shop ONLY. Seans instructions for the aftercare of our tattoos was spot-on. Weve had no trouble with the healing. If anyone out there is looking for a tattoo artist, See SEAN!! It takes some time to see him and get your tattoo but trust (us) me, you have to wait because hes Good! Check out Arrows and Embers; you wont be disappointed. I got my first tattoo the day after my 18th birthday as a gift from my mom. My art teacher who is sleeved highly recommended him and I wouldnt have changed anything. Sean is beyond the definition of an artist, where he is not only talented on skin, but on paper, making drawings/paintings/anything made look like a photograph. He was so calming, clean and professional while giving my mom and I an extreme deal with a fairly detailed tattoo. I will always favor this place over every other tattoo shop Ive been too and wish to go again! My only complaint (which is a complement in disguise) is that I wish he did walk ins and not have to go by appointments because I would only go to him! But Ill be back for him in the future!

I have been to Arrows and Embers on more than one occasion and have had a truly wonderful experience each time. I was even able to recommend my mother, who ended up getting her very first tattoo at the age of 48-she loves it! I am a client for life, this place truly is the best-trust me, I’ve been tattooed at a few other shops before I found A&E and the quality of the work and the experiences at the other shops has *never come CLOSE* to the wonderful tattoos/experiences I have had at Arrows&Embers! Sean is an amazing artist and he really takes his clienteles best interest into account.I still remember him turning people away at the door because the person he was tattooing wasnt comfortable. To risk losing money for someone is so admirable.Hes the one and only artist I will go to for my works of art.

So what can I say About Arrows & Embers? I can say that for about 10 years I had contemplated a tattoo. I wanted something that had a meaning and would be non offensive as I walked about the community. I had a pretty good Idea of the art I wanted. I reviewed several shops portfolios on line. when I saw Sean Ambrose art I knew he had the ability to get the job done. I consulted with him in September of 2019 and set an appointment for April of 2020 (he is that booked out) . Then COVID! I will say that while disappointed at having to wait He called me and got me right in after they could open. The manner in which he walked me through the process (being my first tattoo) was awesome. I would recommend Arrows & Embers to any one looking for quality work with a great artist.

Usually dont write reviews but this time I will.Sean from Arrows and Ambers in Concord, NH did a couple of my previews tattoos and recently i have asked him to just embellish an existing one and add one new. Unfortunately, my request was declined by him and the reason being the tattoo was too small for him to be bothered with. Very unprofessional and disappointing in my opinion since I thought I was a previous customer and there is nothing on the website citing only big project accepted.

Was unhappy with the outcome and was told it looked fine. I know I asked for just some touch ups in the color but I wasnt happy. I just figured if someone wasnt happy the person would fix it. I showed a few people my before and after pictures of my tattoo and they agreed with me some of the color wasnt right. Wont be going back there .
