Amanda has done both of my tattoos. I enjoyed the process of my first tattoo so much that I came back to her for my second. Shes a great artist. She also responds quickly to emails regarding aftercare. I will definitely come back.

I was tatted a couple years ago here and it was a really bad experience. My artist was extremely rude and my tattoo was pretty messed up. This was my first tattoo and whenever I asked for a break I was told I was taking up too much of her time. I was allowed maybe 3 breaks and was told my tattoo just won’t be filled all the way out. I wasn’t going to write a review but after going back there recently and being treated very rude again, I decided that others should know about my experience here. THIS IS NOT A FAKE REVIEW BY THE WAY.

The artists there are extremely talented. They do phenomenal work. The atmosphere is amazing. If you are looking for a place with great energy and personality. This is the place you need to get your next tattoo. All of the staff is so nice. They just did a remodel of the inside and its amazing. If you are looking for a safe and amazing tattoo experience. I came here so far for two memorial tattoos. One for my dad and one for my sister. I have a third one planned for my dog that I recently had to put down. I have been getting my work done by Mason, she is absolutely amazing. The whole shop has a great atmosphere and the ladies here are fun to chat with while getting work done. Could use a couple touch ups now that everything is healed up but she has done a great job putting my ideas into art. I am very happy with the results.

Amanda is the artist I see, Ive been going to her since they opened the shop in 2011. I can not say enough positive things about Amanda, her work is just beautiful. She took a botched tattoo I had and made it look so much better. She created a beautiful leg piece that I get compliments on often! Shes worth every penny. Her husband Dave is also a very talented artist! Mason as well! These people are clean, organized, and fair prices. They have huge hearts and also run a cat rescue!

I have gotten 3 tattoos here over the years and I love this shop. My husband has been going here exclusively too for years. We have very different styles but this shop accommodates all types of tattoos, big, small, simple, or complex. I have went to Mason who does beautiful detailed work, she is my husband’s go to. And this year I got an adorable tattoo from the apprentice Shelby I love. Shop is clean, artists are friendly, and I always enjoy my time there. You will not be disappointed going here!

Clean, friendly and inviting atmosphere, thats what youll get when you go to Anarchy Ink. Ive been going to Anarchy for a few years now and I can say that you wont get a better tattoo experience anywhere else. I currently have 17 tattoos, all of which were done at Anarchy. The majority are works of awesomeness by the very talented Amanda, a few were done by the talented Dave and one was done by the incredible Billy Joe. Ive also had some awesome piercings done by Bill. They work with your budget and take your needs and wants into consideration. No matter who you see at Anarchy, you will be highly pleased with the results. All of the artists at Anarchy are just that, artists.

Shelby was our Artist and she did wonderful work on my wife and I. This was my wifes 4th tattoo but it was my first and she took great care making sure I was comfortable through the whole process. I actually got three done, so I was being taken care of for quite some time. Shelby was attentive to what I wanted, made sure I liked the size, look, and color before proceeding with the work and she even made sure through the whole process that my health was taken care of as well especially since I am diabetic. The whole environment while there was great, the other artists there were really nice and even other people there getting work were enjoyable and friendly to be around. Overall just a great vibe here. Highly recommend!

I tried to ask about whether or not they did ashes in ink. I called and was told no, but when I asked on fb messenger I was told yes. When I messaged again, it was never even read. I tried using the website for help but it’s half built. I really wanted to use you guys, but your customer service skills are really poor, and your staff is obviously not communicating properly.

Dave is an amazing artist. His work is out of this world. He did my memorial tattoo for my grandson who passed at birth and it is absolutely beautiful. It was done so well that it brought tears to my eyes. He also did my boyfriends tattoo to mark his 45 days clean. This place is great! Very good vibe from all artists. I chose to have Shelby for my artist and I will not go to anyone else. Her work is beautiful and she can make anyone laugh. My best friend lives over an hour away and will drive to Anarchy Ink just to to get tattooed by Shelby.

This place is so sick! Everyone that works there is hilarious but professional, the best way to be!!I recently got a tattoo done by Amanda, one of the owners, and ive never been more pumped about having a tattoo and that says a lot because i get excited about everything lol. She does such great work like look at this little dude!! Every thumb in the world up 😎

Congratulations on coming out from under your rock, and finding something new to you!Im really surprised that more people havent heard of this place for as long as its been around. The shop is clean and nicely layed out with friendly staff. All the artists are super talented and wonderful human beings.Anarchy inc. Has been mine and my wifes go to for years. Both of the tattoos on my right arm have been done here. They always come out looking great. Highly recommend coming here for getting ink. Multiple artists with different styles so you can find one that you like.

Amanda is AMAZING!!! She free hand tattooed my foot and crested exactly what I was looking for. Communicated very well thru every step. Her color work and water color work is PHENOMENAL! Looking forward to my next few pieces.

II saw that apprentice Shelby for an addition to an existing tat. She was absolutely wonderful and the tat is beautiful. I would definitely recommend her or the whole place to anyone. Very clean and professional.

I called to see if they had time for a walk in and they told me to stop in and show them what I wanted. I was there about 10 minutes later and I talked to the apprentice, Shelby. She was the sweetest thing ever and my design was really simple so I let her do the tattoo. she was so fun and easy to talk to, It made me feel really comfortable considering I had never been to this particular place. I will definitely be coming back here!

I had an amazing first tattoo experience with these guys, theyre all awesome and friendly and willing to work with you so youre happy. You can walk in unsure and walk out confident as hell with what they help you decide on! Amazing work and at a good price, I got a $200 full front lower arm piece with Bill, which took a little less than 3 hours to make (not including design and stencil time). Nearly a year later and the ink is still super clear and sharp, the design is beautiful as ever and it healed even and looks gorgeous! I get compliments constantly on Bills work.

Highly recommend Anarchy Ink Tattoos LLC.Amanda was so nice and friendly when I first walked in. I gave her my ideas of what sorta tattoo I wanted to get and set up an appointment with her. On my tattoo day, she showed me her sketch and added what she thought would make it better, in which case it did. During the session, she was chatting with me so I wasn’t hyper focused on the pain.Tattoo turned out to be awesome and super cute, totally loving it!

I recently got some work done here and had a great experience. Bill glady was the artist and he did such an amazing job. On top of that I started feeling dizzy part way through and he made sure I took a break. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and I’m SO happy with the work! I had a great experience here! Everything was explained to me precisely and I was given recommendations for my idea that were beneficial towards the healing process, among other things. And of course, I ended up thinking these additions made my idea even better! All of my questions were answered and before we really got into it, Mason, my tattoo artist, did a small line in order for me to be aware of what I was getting myself into. This really calmed my nerves and prepared me. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend Anarchy to others! :)

This shop is amazing! All the artists are friendly and amazing at what they do. This shop is top notch in safety/cleanliness. Sitting there for multiple hours while getting a tattoo I was able to see firsthand the steps they take to keep themselves and their clients safe. Joe T took my idea and ran with it, giving me the tattoo Ive been dreaming about for a long time. This was my second tattoo with Joe and not my last! Ill be back for sure!

Ive been a regular customer at A.I. for several years now and have always had great experiences. Amanda does nearly all my work and has done a truly excellent job converting my convoluted ideas into beautiful, well executed, unique tattoos. The prices are a steal for the high quality work youre getting. Ive also been tattooed by Dave (and so has my fiance) so from person experience we both highly recommend them both. Everything else Ive seen come out of the shop from the current artists has been top notch as well, though. So go check the shop out, meet the artists and let them give you a piece of art to carry on your skin the rest of your life. You wont regret it!

Great experience. Amanda worked on a complicated tattoo for me and it turned out AMAZING. She was very nice and chatted with me the entire time she was working on it. Im absolutely amazed at how great my tattoo turned out. It was exactly what I wanted it to be (even though I was worried I was being kind of vague in my explanation), and she charged me a very reasonable price. I went in expecting to spend about twice as much as I did for the time and level of complexity of my tattoo. I would definitely get another tattoo here and recommend others to come here as well.

I have gotten 2 of my 4 tattoos here, both done by the artist Bill, and Anarchy Ink is a very clean, sterile, and by the book place. The artists are incredibly talented and super kind. Everyone here does their best to make sure you are as comfortable and in the know as possible, constantly telling you what theyre doing. Its a fantastic place for a first tattoo.

Definitely a hidden gem that was the perfect place for my first (and second) tattoo. These guys really love what they do and they do it well. Great precision and creativity as well as a clean and friendly environment. These guys have a sense of humor. Definitely worth the 3 hour round trip drive for me. Moving over near them soon and cant wait to get more tattoos 👌no one else Id trust more. Its also a reasonable price especially for the quality of tattoo you get out of it. The staff here is super talented, and by far my favorite. I came in not knowing what I wanted exactly, which Im sure can be irritating for an artist. Bill worked with me helping me figure out what I wanted and was very patient with me. He was very professional and you can tell he knows what hes doing. I could not have been happier with the finished product and Im refuse to get a tattoo anywhere else now. I 100% would recommend anyone looking for a good tattoo to head over to anarchy!

I just had my tattoo done today, and let me tell you, it was a great experience. Everyone was very welcoming, funny and nice. It was very clean and well organized. This was my second tattoo, but my first time visiting Anarchy Ink (I had read a lot of the positive reviews online). The whole experience was great. The atmosphere was very laid back, yet professional. Bill (Glady) was fantastic. You can tell he really cares about each customer, ensuring they receive a top quality tattoo and are comfortable throughout the whole process. All of the other artists there were joking around, engaging with the customers. You can tell this establishment wants every customer to leave happy. I highly recommend Anarchy Ink for anyone looking for a top quality tattoo.

The atmosphere is beyond amazing theyre such cool laid back people. They know how to make you feel relaxed, laugh, they just took great care of my friend & I. I love my tattoo & my friend loves hers aswell, even though we just got the tattoos today well be back in like a week or so for more lol. Def a great shop these artists deserve much more recognition because the shop isnt well known like it deserves to be!

My husband and I both have several tattoos and have been to many different shops but once we started going here, we have never left. The staff is all extremely friendly and unlike some tattoo shops, they do not try to rip you off on the price. I recommend Anarchy Ink to everyone I meet. Wonderful staff, reasonable prices, and a very nice shop! And its not just a great place for tattoos, but also piercings. I have gotten my ears pierced 4 or 5 times at the mall and they got infected every time. I got them done here last year and I have never had a problem!

Very friendly, clean, and professional environment. My wife has had her side, hip, arm tattoos done by Amanda here. Each and every time she tells her what she wants, Amanda designs it, they debate, and she takes her time to make sure each was perfect. My wife and I are both always satisfied with her work, she even blew on my wifes side tattoo when it stung, so Amanda is very patient as well :) My wife hasnt had work from the others in the shop, but I have seen their work and its just amazing. Each artist is unique and has great senses of humor, we always feel at home when we walk through the door. My wife also had my nipples pierced here too and though everybody reacts different to piercings, hers never got infected (she had them done in Toledo, OH before and they did), they were centered perfectly, and the guy was very professional (I want to say his name was Billy). But usually nipples can take up to a year to heal, it has now been 2 and we am still satisfied! I know hundreds of people with tattoos all over and none of their artists work compares to what I see and have experienced at Anarchy Ink. I would and already do recommend this shop to everybody I know that loves body art. You want perfection, choose Anarchy Ink!

I’ve been recommended twice to go here for tattoos. Both times I went here and I’d go again! My tattoo turned out perfect! I went in thinking I was going to go in, get a price and just set up an appointment, I asked for Bill. He priced me and asked if I could come back in an hour! I was amazed! Bill made it a fun and personable experience! Everyone in the shop was very nice and welcoming!

This place is top notch. The owners, Dave and Amanda, are very serious about sanitary conditions. I have had other artists do tattoos on me, some terrible, some good, but Dave is great. He is above the others in delivering exactly what I wanted at a fair price, his work quality was next level when compared to my previous art, and his cover up fixed what my tattoo should have been in the first place. Got sister tattoos with my sister (obviously) here. Amanda did a great job! She was very friendly and professional. The location was clean, which is important if you are going to have a needle poked into your skin!

Absolutely loved Mason! My husband got his first tattoo today and she made him feel very comfortable. I also got a new tattoo and she had great suggestions to turn my idea into something I love.Mason....I always thought my original tattoo was just there, ya know like out of place. Now with the addition of the anklet it feels complete.

I first started going to anarchy a couple years back. Following my artist Charles Boyd, one of the many talented staff members who worked/work there. I have never felt more at home. Never did I once see a potential customer treated poorly. This is coming from a guy who was tattooed on a weekly basis. Ive even been protected when a women asked do you even have a job after receiving my knuckle tattoos. Every one is respectful and passionate about the art they create. Even supporting the artist I came there for. Who now has his own shop in tn. One of the cleanest. Friendliest shops Ive been too. I will definately go back.

Anarchy ink is a great place to go with excellent artists! Amanda always does great work for me and Pays close attention to small details that make the tattoo better than I expected. She even takes time to follow up with me and make sure my tattoo is healing well. Its the only tattoo shop that I would recommend.

I went in and told the artist what I was looking for. He created something unique and just for me. The artist, Bill, was amazing and very friendly. He took his time and my tattoo came out awesome. Got a rib tattoo done by Joe. He did an amazing job. He was friendly and helpful and you can tell that he cares about every tattoo he does.The other artists that were there were nice and continually made me laugh through the whole process. After 5 days the tattoo is already fully healed. i recommend this place for anyone looking for a high quality tattoo.

I have been a patron and fan of Anarchy Ink Tattoos for 4 years now and have never been disappointed by the quality of work and service I received. I have had the privilege of being inked by both Dave (owner) and his wife, Amanda. Both were equally exceptional in their crafts and are true artists at with what they do. Every time I go in, I take a little piece of inspiration and let them run with it. I now have 8 pieces completed at this establishment and receive compliments daily from the public I work with on how beautiful my ink is.The notion that there is a prejudice in the staff against minorities or people of different backgrounds is for lack of a better word, absurd. As a bi-racial gay man, I can attest, having spent many hours in the chair and watched patrons come and go, that there is no merit to that claim. The staff are open and affirming to any and all that come in their doors. They are knowledgeable and deeply honest people who take their craft very seriously and follow a code of ethics that is kept to a high standard.I have referred many clients to Anarchy Ink Tattoos and all have been just as satisfied with their experience as I was. I will continue to recommend people to come to the shop and hope others do too.

A few months ago I decided to try them out because my brother told me great things about them. I walked in a hour before they closed to get a one inch cross on my ankle. It was two lines that took two minutes to finish. They rushed me as soon as I walked in. I understand that it was a hour before closing but it was a two minute tattoo, no other customers there, a couple tattoo artists just sitting around and if they didnt have time to do it they should have turned me away. After I got the tattoo, they charged me $50. Again, this was a one inch tattoo, two lines and both of these lines were less than 1 mm thick and they had me pay $50. My friend got a 4 inch, detailed design, on her forearm for $40. I will be going elsewhere for my next tattoos.

Didnt end up getting my tattoos there because the lady kept lying to me and telling me she would call me back. She never did. Mind you I called prior and even left work early to get it done. So not only did I miss time off work just to be lied to but I sure didnt get my tattoos!!! Until the next day when I went somewhere else!

Everyone there was awesome; they were easy going and made me feel comfortable and not very nervous at all. It was also very clean. Joe did an awesome job on my watercolor tattoo and I love it! I would highly recommend this place!

I have been going to Anarchy tattoo for a few years now and have had nothing but wonderful work done and a staff that is very knowledgeable in the products they use, including proper use. I have always felt welcome inside the shop by everyone there. In fact over the years i have roughly sent 5 friends there and they have been very happy with the work done. I have 3 tattoos from Amanda, one of the artists. She just recently did a cover up to a tattoo i had done years ago from another shop. She fixed it and added to it after we collaborated together in a way that i am now happy to show off that tattoo! She had great advice on what colors would work best for me and my idea. I will continue to refer friends to Anarchy tattoo for years to come. Not only is the work incredible, its a welcoming environment for everyone!

Been going to Anarchy for years and dont plan on going anywhere different. The staff are laid back and treat everyone great. Easy to go in and feel comfortable. Not to mention the artists are incredibly talented and know their craft. All in all, whenever anyone asks where I get my ink, I hand them a card and tell them they should go here.

I had a good experience with Bill Glady designing my tattoo from ideas I brought in. He was happy to redraw it a couple of times to make it just the way I wanted. My tat turned out great! People comment on the clear details in it. I LOVE it.

I have been to a few different tattoo places, around Grand Rapids, over the years. I found Anarchy Ink to be by far the best one in town. The staff was more than friendly, very professional and courteous. I had a sketch of the tattoo I wanted but Dave (the owner) explained to me for the area that I wanted it, it was too big. He said he could do it but I wouldnt be happy with it over the years, due to the words would become smudged together. Already have one of those tattoos, wish the last guy would have advised me of that. Dave redesigned the tattoo that I wanted and it came out perfect. He knew what I was after and he nailed it. Thank you so much for taking the time to get me just what I was wanting. I will never go anywhere other than Anarchy Ink.

The artists here are top notch. They produce quality work, and the establishment has a friendly environment. These artists have standards and are super talented with great personalities. A great parlor with great people! I have been inkd by Dave multiple times and Im very happy with every tattoo! I have referred alot of people to this place, and every single one of them left happy and are still happy with their tattoos! Great experience with very respectful staff. It was very clear that every customer through the door mattered, and many were returning customers. They were very knowledgeable on how colors mixed with different skin pigments and were obviously experienced in working on a wide variety of canvases. Definitely would recommend this shop to everyone.

I just got a huge side piece by Bill Glady and he remained very professional. The area I was getting my tattoo was some what scandals but I am very impressed with joe he handled it. My tattoo turned out beautifully and I would never go to another tattoo place. His techniques made my experience a great one. Hes very comforting and and expert tattoo artist.

10/10 would recommend. Great shop, great artists. I had a tattoo done elsewhere and wasnt happy with it. Dave turned it into something Im very proud of. Dont risk it going anywhere else. Youll literally regret it for life

I had a specific tattoo in mind.....my artist was Bill Glady...he was able to take my design and turned it into a beautiful tat....he was professional, efficient, and gave me a fair price. The shop was clean and everyone there was very friendly...I would highly recommend Anarchy Tattoos to anyone who wants a great experience and a great tat!!

I love the experience i had at Anarchy Ink. Being a mexican american, Amanda took the time to look at my skin tone and helped me pick out the perfect colors that would compliment my skin tone. I have never had anyone sit and listen in such detail to what i want my tattoo to look like.The artisits at Anarchy Ink, take their skill seriously from the design itself to the after care.I highly recommend this shop for any tattoo needs.

I loved all aspects of getting work done at Anarchy. Everyone was really nice and helpful from when I walked in with a design..all the way until I left with my new ink. It was a tricky piece to say the least and they nailed it to perfection. I will be back for more and will send them as much work as I can

Im picky so if youre looking for a good piercer this is where you want to go. Bill has been doing my piercings for years. I told him whenever I feel like Ive hit a midlife crisis I come back & get another ear piercing! Today I took two friends - a millennial and a GenX and Bill showed them the same service hes always provided - CLEAN, CAREFUL, & COURTEOUS....and CRAZY LOL.

Changed my review, looked better when it was fresh was given a free touch up and still looks bad didnt touch up everything that needed it and bruised me all over. Plus its going to cost about what I paid to have it fixed, elsewhere of course. Haha owner claims it fake?! Added a Pic of what it looked like when the bruising went away

Anarchy Ink is the only place that we go to for our tattoos. Between myself, my daughter and our friends we have used every artist in the shop. We love the openness of the shop where you have a little bit of privacy but the artist can still interact with each other and make your experience fun.

Hands down one of the best shops Ive ever been to. Great artist, great customer service, reasonable prices and just a really awesome atmosphere. Would definitely recommended getting your ink done here. Its the only place Ill go.

When talking to the artist Bill G. About the tattoo he assured me that he had done jewels and his line work was smooth. After getting tattooed, I have portions that are wiggle lines, crooked parts and the jewel is lost in all the shading around it. Very disappointed. I sent him a pm about the messed up parts that he read and didnt respond to.

I love going here for my tattoos, I have gotten work done by Mason, and Mandy, both of them do great work also give me ideas when I want something done I have over 40 tattoos and I have been to many shops around Grand Rapids, holland, and even back home I would go to Anarchy Ink as my first choice just because of pricing quality of the work, and costumer service I will say they are pretty busy but it’s because of the work they do also the apprentice is a bright star waiting to shine seen some of her work as well I hope this company continue to stay around until I’m done getting tattoos thanks for all my work guys I appreciate ya and for anyone with the dumb idea oh it’s woman tatooing wake up and open your eyes to woman doing tattoos the world is changing and some of my best work was done by them so don’t be close minded gets you no where!

Would not recommend any minorities to go to this shop. Most tattoo places have an arrogance about them and are rude. I sat in the shop for 45 mins being ignored while the white customers were serviced. Will never suggest this place. They might as well have a sign hanging out in the front that says whites only. There are better tattoo places with friendly staff.

I get all my tattoos there. The environment there is always nice and friendly. They know how to make tattooing a fun experience. I cant wait to go back to get more.

Went in and talked to Billy Joe about getting a tattoo, and he was VERY rude. He didnt seem to actually know what he was talking about.. pretty much told me I was stupid and seemed like he was doped up on drugs. This place seems unprofessional and I would not recconend.

We go in the shop at 6:30 the blonde at the counter said come BK in 2 hours and you can get the tattoos done so we show up with in the 2 hours just to have them tell us they couldnt do them thanks for your kindness not there was 3 of us getting the tattoos
