Balm Tattooing

Every visit has been super wonderful. The atmosphere is great, the music is nice, the artists are wonderful. Ive seen Emily for 3/3 of my pieces and its been a constructive journey. Ive have felt so much more comfortable doing things like wearing shorts, and just being more present in my body.

Such a wonderful experience all around! the artists have clear instructions on how to book and when their books open listed on IG. There may be a wait (y’all, there is a wait everywhere!), but this is not a bad thing! The artists need to be able to take care of themselves to create the best tattoos and give their clients the best experiences. It is a good sign when tattoo artists have strong boundaries. With all that said my wait time was not long at all and I’ve had the opportunity to get two amazing tattoos from Sarah! Highly highly recommend!

I was tattooed by Sarah a month ago, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. For one, she’s a highly talented artist, but most importantly she made me feel so comfortable in the shop. She answered any questions I had and made sure to walk me through her tattooing process. She’d always ask for my consent before doing anything and check in to make sure I was feeling okay. We had a great conversation during the tattoo, and I’d love to be tattooed by her again. I loved how the shop was decorated, and it’s also obvious that they all take the proper sanitary precautions. Just received a tattoo from Tiffany and it was a wonderful experience! She was super helpful and really helped my idea come to life. I appreciated her attention to making sure I was comfortable and relaxed, great experience overall. Will definitely be back for more awesome tattoos!

I cant give them a one star since Ive never actually been there. But thats the thing. I will try to book. Wait for their link in their bio to book and it says open for what ever month then no link! so I message and they are full now and books are closed again. Ill never be able to get a tattoo from here ever and Im disappointed. I just wanted a safe environment to go to that I could trust. Very sad about it and I dont know what other place to go to.And I know someone else made a review similar to mine before. And they say oh it directs to Instagram stuff to submit though email. Ive tried! So no, booking is NOT ACCESSIBLE.

I was so excited when this shop opened up as I have left shops (paid the artist for their time) disappointed or too nervous, in the area. I was so excited to have a potential safe space and have been waiting for an opportunity to get an appointment....I do not have a FB or instagram but dled instagram to try to navigate how to get an appointment.I wish the shop and the website was a little more accessible... I am giving up on this after a couple years of effort. I wish you folks well~

Love this shop! Excellent & talented artists who are good people and enthusiastic about their work. Typically have little longer lead times but with luck you will get a early time slot. Beautiful decorations also

Sarah was so wonderful to work with. Very considerate of my comfort, clearly serious about sanitary practices which is important, not to mention she is a stellar artist and human.

This tattoo shop is literally so cute and cozy. I see Emily and she always makes me feel comfortable. Everything was sparkling clean. I cant wait to come back.
