I recently got a letterwork tattoo here. My artist didnt tell me she was an apprentice before getting the tattoo. If I had been told that beforehand, I might not have gone through with it. After getting the tattoo, I noticed some of the letters were crooked, that some of the linework was shaky, and that some of the ink was faded. I asked for the standard touch up to see if this could be fixed. Although the faded ink was corrected, the linework wasnt. Unforuntately, some of it was made worse the second time around. When she was finished and asked me if it looked good, I said yes because I didnt feel comfortable with her trying a third time. I figured I would just ask one of the more experienced artists to correct the lines. Unfortunately, my first message was ignored. When I showed up to the store in person, I was told I would have to pay minimum store price for more work, as if I was getting another tattoo.Im feeling really self-conscious, as this will be on my body forever. Unfortunately, I dont know what to do from here.

I went with a friend to get a few new tattoos, Jaida was able to fit us in very quickly. She made us feel comfortable the entire time and did such amazing work! I would highly recommend her. I got a spine and rib tattoo which I was very nervous for, I ended up leaving very happy and will be coming back!

This place is phenomenal! Great work, and best people to be around! I have 2 big pieces from Ron Ron! Very detail oriented, cleanly and knowledgeable about the craft! I send everyone I know there, its worth it! The picture below is a cover up, first session. I cant wait to get it finished!!!

Ron has done my last four tattoos. He is very fast and light handed, and his detail work is incredible. All of the artists there do amazing work. I highly recommend this shop, and especially Ron Ron Russell.

My friends and I got out first ones with Ben yesterday and we love them! The detail on our are insane. He was very calming for it being our first, explained everything great and could barely even feel it! Great time here!

I choose Brenda Sues for my first tattoo. I was immediately greeted by knowledgeable friendly staff. The Ambiance was spiritual and the facility was very CLEAN! The helpful staff made my first tattoo a real treat and I look forward to visiting again.

Best tattoo experience Ive had in Grand Rapids so far. I got tattooed by Jaida, Very professional, on time, paperwork ready, I wanted a few changes to the drawing which took no time at all. She has a very light hand which is very nice. I chose her based on a piece on her IG, I knew she was the right artist. She knocked it way out of the ballpark! Exactly what I wanted. I made another appointment right there because it was a very fun experience too and she read my mind about what I wanted which rules!!!

Jaida was super comforting and did such a good job on both of my tattoos. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new piece!

I came in for a walk-in this was my first tattoo very professional but also super chill environment such cool displays of art as I am an artist myself. Would definitely come again, made me feel less nervous and more calm due to nerves. Drew was amazing! had my tattoo look even better than the original photo had i brought in.

I had dog paws done on my hand; very simple tattoo. Once healed it looks faded as though it was done with a stamp. Ive tried multiple times to come in to fix it but no luck. I was extremely upset by most recent effort. I had an appointment but 5 min before I got a message saying she cant do it. Its a 45 min drive for me. Its been a couple days now and I still have not heard back from her. Wont have tat done by her again. Sorry.I will say everyone seemed really nice and the environment is beautiful!

Five stars aren’t enough for my experience with Jaida. This was my first tattoo and she was phenomenal. She took a photo I had given her and drew two designs to choose from. She was a very prompt communicator and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. Plus she’s an amazing artist and created something beyond my expectations. I cannot recommend her enough.

This shop is great! I went in for a tattoo consultation and worked with Emily, she was incredibly helpful and kind; Im very confident in the piece shes creating for me! I ended up getting a Friday the 13th flash with Andy. He was a very skilled, gentle, and had great conversation the whole time. I am very happy with the piece I got done! The owner, Ron, was also very kind and easy to talk with. This has been my best experience at a tattoo shop and Im excited to go back for future work!

Ive been coming here since shortly before the pandemic kicked off. I have gotten a lot of work done and its always professional, clean and welcoming. It also has a ton of art to view on the walls so when youre getting work done it gives you a great conversation. Ask for Drew but they all are great.

I could not have asked for a better experience for my first tattoo. The artists were friendly and worked together to ensure I had the best person for the tattoo I wanted (an intricate thumb piece). They were careful to make sure the design was exactly how I wanted it. The studio is clean and well decorated with artwork. I would HIGHLY recommend them for anyone wanting their first or 10th tattoo. Ask for Mike or Ron! They are awesome! Ill never go anywhere else.

The cleanest, most professional establishment of artists I have ever had the privilege of being tattooed in. Every artist here is beyond capable of providing a service that is not only impressive, but far surpasses expectations. If I had to chose one though, it would be Alexis. She just has the most impressive ability to capture incredible beauty. Whether it be simple, or intricate. In fact, she is the only one have had do my last 5 tattoos! But again, theyre all more than capable artists and I would recommend them to anyone above any other establishment.

I was excited to hear an artist could fit me in this week and after messaging her several times without response and then ending up calling her, I finally got a message back saying we’d have to reschedule, one hour before my appointment which is 45 min away from me. If I had known any time sooner I would’ve been able to find another artist. I don’t think I would’ve been notified about my appointment cancellation either if I hadn’t repeatedly messaged and called. I’ve heard great things about some of the artists here but I was extremely disappointed by the woman who was supposed to tat me.

I was amazed at the cleanliness and wonderful atmosphere. Michael Snyder was my artist. He did the BEST tattoo. It looks so good. He listened to what I wanted and created an amazing piece for me. I am in love. Everyone that sees it comments on it. It is BY FAR my best tattoo on my body. I HIGHLY recommend him. I have not found an artist that I 100% love until now! Make sure to go with him.

Jaida was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond, and did amazing work for my family and I as we got a tattoo in memorial of our father. She was professional, talented, and above all else, amazingly kind. 10/10 recommend. I couldn’t find her though the website, so I found it easiest to contact her on Instagram @bugtattooo

Great experience all the way around. The atmosphere is really cool with heavy tunes and lots of interesting artwork pieces all over. Josh did a great Bitcoin and Kings Crown tattoos on my fingers. I plan on going back in a few months. Damn these tattoos, you go for just 2 and immediately want to get more, lol. Thanks guys.

The work is excellent.. however I have been double booked twice, having to wait an extra month in between. Very disappointed as my time is extremely limited and I don’t feel like I am really valued as a client. It’s to the point where the quality might not be worth the inconvenience.

Phenomenal shop. The employees were polite and had a sense of humor. Their art work is top notch and they care about their work. Fairly priced and top quality. Will definitely come here again.

My first tattoo was 25 years ago and I have had several more work done over the years. Caitlyn Vansetters at Brenda Sues killed it! This was by far the best tattoo experience I have ever had. It was practically painless, she was fast, and she did a very thorough job from start to finish. My tattoos healed without any issues, and look beautiful! I love them!

September 10th I went in and got my very first tattoo ever! Drew is the guy who did it and I would go back to him again. He did exactly what I wanted, was very professional, and put my mind to ease!

My daughters got me a surprise tattoo for my birthday. I was blindfolded and not allowed to see what I was getting. Carlos was awesome, We all joked the whole time. I love it. Its on my back so I will edit and add a picture as I lost the original.

After having my ink booked for over two weeks, I showed up to get my work done. The artist never showed up.The guy behind the counter said he saw my appointment but he never showed up to work. I took the night off of work which is very hard to do. Save your money folks.

Stopped by a couple weeks prior to actually getting this done to setup up an appointment. Drew is an awesome tattoo artist. Im looking forward to more work done by him Soon.
