Alex was awesome. He was very professional and did a phenomenal job on my tattoo. I emailed him 2 pictures that I liked and he was able to combine them and make them even better. He exceeded my expectations! He is the only person I would recommend from now on!

I was a 100% satisfied with the outcome of my piece at the ARTS tattoo studio. Alex Richardson was very professional and courteous and also gave me a very solid timeframe for how long it would take to start and complete my tattoo I would highly recommend the arts tattoo studio to anyone looking for portrait work.

Very disappointed with the owner, Alex and how he conducts business. I emailed and set up a date and time for a consultation with Alex. I arrived at the date and time set and Alex was not there. I emailed him and he stated he forgot and could set up another date and time. I looked past that and set up another date of May 30th, 2023. We did the consultation, photos of where I wanted my piece were taken, Alex stated he would have my drawing to me the week before my appointment in case there are any questions or concerns, I placed a deposit of $150.00. My appointment was scheduled for July 24, 2023. I emailed him July 20th asking for the drawing of my tattoo and he stated ill send you over a design as soon as i get a chance, im on vacation right now. He emailed me on July 23rd, 2023 with a drawing that I did not want and different than what I asked for. I asked numerous times to see exactly what the tattoo would look like when complete and he questioned if Ive seen his prior work and stated that it was just the line drawing and there isnt enough time to draw up what exactly the tattoo would look like. He was very dismissive, and seemed to be offended that I wanted to see what a tattoo would look like before it was on my body. We went back and forth via email concerning the design to a point where he had to reschedule me so he could do the drawing over the way I described it. I rescheduled for October 13, 2023 due to being out of town for work for a few months. Again the day before my appointment, October 12, 2023 I had to email Alex asking for the sketch of my piece I wanted. He emailed me back the same drawing from before with 2 very small things changed (did not listen to what i wanted at all from the last time). At this point I did not go back and forth with him again concerning what I wanted, Ive done that two to three times before instead I simply asked for my deposit back. He stated no it was for his time to draw the tattoo and the dates he booked. This was going to be a half sleeve memorial piece, a piece extremely sensitive and meaningful to me. I would not recommend business with Alex whatsoever.

Got a tattoo done by Alex, had numerous open wounds happen from the tattoo which left scars and caused the ink to blur badly. When I asked him about it he said that was normal and to keep moisturizing it which I did as I have done for my 6 other tattoo. Would not recommend as now Im stuck with a tattoo that is anatomically incorrect and riddled with scars in it now. Hoping another artist can fix my badly done tattoo

Delie did an awesome job putting life into my tattoo done by someone else. We had tattoos done by him before as well. Never disappoints. Great guy and does awesome work. Worth the drive. Going back in a couple weeks to get a few things added to the hover board.

I get a lot of compliments on my sleeve from Cams work. Hes great to work with and is very knowledgeable about how to work with your tattoos to make it look the best. Hes always recommended by me.

Yo this place is pretty legit. Only a $40 minimum, about half of all other tattoo shops in GR. That is great for someone like myself, who gets multiple smaller (some tiny) tattoos over the course of a few years. Cameron is super nice. I’ve heard fantastic things of Alex, another designer at this spot, but I have yet to have him tattoo me. Overall, I recommend this spot!

Got my first tattoo here. It was recommended by a coworker of mine. My girlfriend and I went in and spoke with Cameron who asked us what our ideas were and when we wanted to get them done. We set up an appointment for the next week. Day of the appointment we met up with Cameron who drew our tattoos in front of us. I forgot to eat before the work and started to feel faint. Cameron was super patient and we ordered a pizza! Afterwords, the tattoo went smoothly and turned out AMAZING! The ARTS Tattoo Studio really puts out a chill and friendly vibe. The whole place is spotless and while Cameron was setting up he cleaned the work area again! I had such a great first tattoo experience. This place is awesome and if/ when I get a second tattoo this is where I will be going.

Alex is an AMAZING artist.. I love his attention to detail and his personality makes getting tattooed so easy from him.

Called as my Husband and I were driving back home from our 30th. Anniversary vacation. They had a cancelation got there before 5. This guy was amazing. Showed him 2 pictures he drew it up within minutes. Tattoo was done within 45mins. Ive never had one done that fast and it looks great. Thank you Cameron for being very Respectful. Will definitely go back.

The whole process between first sending an email to check on availability to stopping in to meet Alex, discuss the quote and schedule then finally coming in and completing my tattoo has been nothing short of Amazing. Alex was so easy going, chill and made me feel good about the plan. He is a fantastic artist and takes pride in the work he does. I will definitely be back to see him and am very much looking forward to future projects!

I got a hand tattoo that was beautifully done by Dakota at the studio. Was instantly welcomed as a walk in and had quick service. Everyone is really careful and sanitary. I have many tattoos and this will be a place to return to. Some of the best art I’ve seen done on others and the portfolios of the artists are amazing!! I highly recommend this tattoo studio. It’s very friendly as an atmosphere and artists work to make your vision come to life!

I had several thousand dollars of tattoo work done from Cam, when I tried to get my free touch up I was told there was a $50 deposit to set an appointment! The money is not the issue, its the fact that I was told several time touch ups were included. My tattoos are very light and in desperate need of a lot of touch up work! I explained Id most likely need 3 hrs of touch up work and at that time Id leave a deposit for the additional tattoos I intended to get! So now I will have to have another studio fix the work Ive already paid for. Cam is a very good artist but he has a light hand! I expressed many time that I wanted my tattoos dark, he said if I wasnt happy he could darken them at the free touch up! Its worth mentioning I attempted to give him my credit card info over the phone and he told be Id have to stop in to do that! OK if I have to drive to the other side of town to leave a deposit Ill been charging you for my gas and time. So when I get there you will owe $125.00

Alex is hands down one of the best tattoo artists out there. I have 2 tattoos from him and will never go anywhere else. The shop is always clean and its always such a great experience getting work done here.

I love my tattoo! I’m under the age of 18, so my mom had to sign consent forms and verify that she was in fact my mother, so no surprises and very professional. He was very thorough, and I’m very satisfied with my first piece! He made me feel very comfortable and he made me laugh. He did everything that I wanted, and I will definitely come back.

I have gotten all five of my tattoos here. Cameron is excellent at following directions about what you want and then adding his own personal flavor to them. I dont see a reason to go anywhere else, especially since they dont charge an exorbitant amount like some other places in town! They also take sterility very seriously. I will be back!

Ive had 3 other tattoos done and The Arts Tattoo Studio is by far, the best studio I have been in. Alex is very personable, he keeps his studio extremely clean, and my tattoo looked exactly how I wanted it to. I would definitely recommend him and will be going back to him when I decide to get my next tattoo.

The building was clean, organized, and well lit. The employees were polite and personable. Cameron worked with my friend and I to draw out our tattoos. Once he started inking, we could tell he was experienced, we felt comfortable with his work, and we were done in no time with awesome ink to show for it!

Alex did a great job... This place was way more accommodating than other places Ive been to. This is by far the best experience Ive had in terms of the healing process and the days following. I am very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend checking them out.

Alex Richardson did a wonderful job on my tattoo. He made it just like the pic and made me cry. He didnt hurt me and he did it in the time frame he gave me. Ive been getting so many compliments on my tat. If you need a tat, go check them out.

Terrible communication. I emailed one of the artists with interest of them possibly being my artist for my ENTIRE leg sleeve. I asked a few questions, they didn’t answer any of them, but said we should meet and talk in person. So I asked if there was a good time for me to come in and he said I could come in today and leave my deposit. He was short, didn’t even tell me how much the deposit would be, he hadn’t designed anything, and he didn’t bother telling me when his next appointments were. Very disappointed.

Came in without an appointment and Mike was able to hook me up without any wait. He did a Great Job Freshening up an existing tattoo as well as adding on to it . I will definitely be back in the near future! Thanx again for a Comfortable Experience!

Delie was awesome! Amazing artist, great guy, very fair price. I couldn’t be happier with my ink and the experience. I already put a deposit down for him to fix a large piece on my back that another artist from another shop fell short on. Will be back for Delie for more work anytime I want something done!

Cameron is a real one. Tattoos are something where you dont look for value. You look for an artist that knows what hes doing. Cameron is someone that will workshop your ideas with you to come up with a great tattoo. Hes got 12 years of experience and it shows. I love the work he did for me.

Got a tattoo piece done here about 2 years ago and realized shortly after getting it done that the line work and shading is absolutely horrible. I’ve gone to other tattoo artists and have been told that the artist did a trash job. Very disappointing, recommend finding a tattoo artist that is sober while they are tattooing you permanently.

Very clean and professional shop! The guys there are freindly and make you feel at home, Cameron tattooed me last night and the work came out amazing! I’m definitely going back to them for all my future work.

I got my first tattoo done here. I was so scared of needles and pain but DAKOTA did an excellent job. She did the Karma tattoo and I was so addicted with the art that I immediately got my second tattoo STARS done right away. Very friendly people, neat and clean and affordable!

Paid $50 for this little tattoo a week ago and its peeling off. Called to have it fixed and they said they could do it for an additional $30. I will never go back there. Wish I could post the pics.
