Jaysin did an amazing job on my tattoo. I am definitely returning to have more work done in the next couple weeks. Everyone is extremely kind there. The shop is clean and professional. If you want your money’s worth and leave with a fantastic tattoo this is the place. I look forward to going back soon!

There is not enough good things I can say about Jaysin! He ensured my tattoo looked amazing, you can really tell he loves what he does and cares deeply about his clients and how your tattoo looks after he’s done. He even made sure I had the proper tools for my aftercare! Amazing tattoo artist and I will definitely be coming back to him for more in the future. He checked on me while working and made sure I was comfortable which I appreciated very much. Jaysin has been my tattoo artist for years and he has always done a phenomenal job on all of them!! He understands I have no pain tolerance and will take his time to accommodate my needs whether it be a quick break or more numbing spray. He always treats you with a smile and makes sure you like the ideas he has before he starts. I will always recommend him and I will always keep going to him.

This was my first tattoo (Im 58) and Jaysin was super helpful explaining the process and working with me on my design. He was very professional, did great work, and was super focused on making sure everything remained clean and hygienic. I definitely recommend him.

I met the crew of Idle Hands at Fanboy Expo Knoxville and from start to finish it was a wonderful experience! The vibe from the entire crew was so chill and welcoming, even with all chaos of a convention happening. Jaysin killed it with my Zenitsu tattoo. Ill absolutely be a return client.

I messaged Jaysin on Instagram and asked for a raccoon holding a beer and a smoking a cig. I have him artistic freedom to create a tattoo with those 3 things. Impressed isnt a strong enough word to describe the tattoo. 10/10 would come for another tattoo.

This was my first time going to Jaysin and he’s blown me away with his communication, work, and professionalism. I’ve been to previous tattoo artist and he is the only one who has agreed to draw and color the tattoo before the appointment. I’m usually a very anxious person but he listens to what you’re wanting and graceful makes suggestions if it needs to be adjusted for the tattoo style. He makes sure you’re comfortable whether that’s with music, shows, or room temperature. And it’s clear he puts a lot of thought and energy to make sure his clients can reach him and is serious about aftercare for the tattoo. Jaysin’s new to the area and I’m happy he’s found a place in Knoxville to share his art with us.

I went to the Baltimore tattoo convention. I was just looking around and not even looking on getting a tattoo that day. I was just trying to look for an artist to do a sleeve tattoo in the future. I saw Jaysin work and I got impressed, the effort and passion that Jaysin puts in to his work shows right away. I just went to ask a question and Jaysin was willing to help me out right away.I asked Jaysin to do a custom tattoo and with out a problem he was willing to do it right away. The tattoo turn out better than I expected it’s super bright super detailed. I love the way the coloring turned out. It’s perfect I will definitely get my sleeve done by Jaysin in the future.

Was a fantastic experience. Jaysin is personable and really knows his stuff. He takes the time to dothe job right, cares about the aftercare, and wants you to get the best tattoo you can get. We did line work and shading on one day and the color on another. If he gives a recommendation then really listen, he’s got your tattoo in mind. Really appreciate his work.

It took some time and research for find a tattoo shop and artist. I couldn’t be more happy with my choice. Jaysin did a phenomenal job with the small detail of the tattoo. Especially when most said it wouldn’t be doable in the size preferred. He also has a feather touch with the needle. Definitely recommend and will be going back for another. Thank you greatly Jaysin!

Just got my first tattoo here, zero regrets. Super chill atmosphere, shop is super clean, Jaysin is real easy to get along with and just helps the whole process go smoothly. His line work is phenomenal, works efficiently, and the prices are super reasonable. If you arent considering this shop for your next tat what are you doing?

Just want to start out by saying I did not get tattooed,so I cant speak to Jaysin tattoo skills. However, everything before getting tattooed was lacking. Seems to be a nice guy,but $350 for a design fee is crazy. Yes I could have said noto the fee and gone on about my life,but I decide to see what awesome design I would get for that. What I got looked to be a photoshop, copy and paste design. For $350 I would expect color and more to the design instead of copy and paste of the same image. It just didnt seem worth the money. When we mocked it up I added stuff to make it more creative which should have been done in the first place. My references were Randy Burnham, which does have flowers occasionally, but most of his are leafy and incorporated into the head garment or other places. Jaysin put in 4 flowers going down my arm, just using those to take up space. If he shows his design I would have poeple compare and make thier own judgements. Two days after the mock up I said I didnt really like the flowers, never heard anything back. Was suppose to get tattooed today 3/25/24. Communication could have been better.

Fantastic artist and a great shop. Honestly cant say anything bad about my experience here. Jaysin is super professional and very easy to get along with, plus a great artist ^.^ Will definitely be getting more tattoos from him here. If I could give 10/5 stars I would.

I am so happy with my final piece and can’t wait for the next one!Update: My coverup still looks fresh as the day it was done! I spent many weeks collaborating with him about my tattoo design and after 7 hours in his studio, my shoulder memorial tattoo couldn’t have turned out more perfect! I had one tattoo touched up and another covered up today. Both were on my feet. Absolutely thrilled with it! Jaysin covered up an existing tattoo with a hand-drawn design that, I think, perfectly fits my post-Roe rage tattoo in that he put (what I think looks like) flowery uteruses on my foot. The subtly incorporated middle finger makes me so happy! The other one kept some of the imperfections I wanted to keep but he made it so much better. He was so professional and I enjoyed the conversation with him and Eric. 10/10 would recommended!

I received a wonderful tattoo just as places were reopening with COVID-19. Jaysin wore a face shield and was very respectful of varying views and catered to your experience. I got a tattoo with a friend and hers turned out amazing as well!The tattoos are small, but Jaysin took the time to fit us in before he closed one day. We had a bit of a story, he listened, and was extremely accommodating. He did work off of small pieces we brought and we sought his approval before finalizing. I did not want to be offensive offering other artwork, we were just looking for something quick. He understood! It was a wonderful experience.My only regret is not getting an original piece or piece in color because Jaysins portfolio is on fire! Very talented artist! I hope, when Im able to pay for my next large piece, to see if he is available and interested in planning something of my cat. I really like what I have seen of his animal art!Great shop! I have been looking to start my video game sleeve for a while. Needed a guy with great skill on color. My man Jaysin Jefferson here at Idle Hands has knocked it out of the park on 4 tattoos as of 7/8/22. The guys in the shop are great, clean, have a steady hand, and even check up on you afterwards. This was the cleanest Tattoo shop I have ever been in. Everything was top notch. Jaysin has a special talent when it comes to colors. He also has more ink colors than I ever thought was even available. He knows how to select the proper colors that compliment each other and really make for excellent piece of of artwork.

I had the pleasure of getting a flash tattoo by Jaysin at the Baltimore tattoo convention, a sick little match on my hip. He was extremely professional and made sure to go all out even though it was only a flash. Artist was light-handed with the work so I barely felt a thing, and the artwork was awesome. He redesigned my original idea to be even better than what I had. I wanted a heart memorial tattoo for my mother I was told he won’t do a tattoo of a tattoo, he completely changed what I ask for so I told him he could make small changes he still refused me now mind you he already did work on me before and it was a tattoo of a tattoo so why all the sudden you refused me now? Every one has a tattoo of a tattoo, You won’t do a heart because a heart has already been done by other artists? Thousands of people have hearts! that makes no sense. So I thought to myself forget it I’ll take my business else where and something important as a memorial tattoo for a loved one should be done by an artist who has experience so I’m glad now this kid didn’t do my mothers tat I guess it was meant to be
