Danny reached out to me and discussed switching out some of my old not so good looking jewelry with upgraded high quality jewelry. I didn’t second guess his ideas at all. I fully trust him with all of my body modifications as he is a trusted friend of mine and a professional in his field.1. Him reaching out to me is a huge deal. It never crossed my mind, I’ve always wanted to upgrade but I had no idea where to start. He talked me through it and gave me all the information and how to make an appointment on his site. He took the initiative and that made all the difference.2. His store is AMAZING! It smells so nice and clean, the space is open, inviting and well organized. The jewelry in the case is all high quality and well displayed. I loved everything about walking in here and hanging out.3. All of my piercings are from different people.. I haven’t found one I liked until I worked with Danny. He was polite and professional. The next day after my visit he checked in with me to make sure my nose rings were not still irritated after the switch. None of the other piercers I’ve worked with have followed up with me EVER. I had already been pleased with the service he gave me but he took that extra step and it means the world. Absolutely love Be-You-tiful Body Piercing. Ive been there several times now and they are always very professional. The studio is very clean and the setup is gorgeous. They have a huge amount of jewelry to choose from and they do such a great job! For the most recent trip I was having my nostril re-pierced. As always, it turned out great!!

Great knowledge. Recently had my ears pierced for the first time at a CVS in Las Vegas at age 66. That shows my knowledge of piercings. Danny helped get my piercings properly angled, very safety conscious and professional staff. Now I’m cool like my 8 year old grandson who had his done here as well a while back.

Michelle is awesome! I’ve had three piercings done by her, two cartilage and a nose piercing. I love all of them, and they were mostly painless both during and after the procedure. The selection of jewelry made my decisions very hard because of the sheer amount of beautiful jewelry they have. I cannot recommend a better place for any kind of piercing because of the professional and sterile environment.

I would not go any other place to get a piercing. They staff are amazing and the place is immaculately clean. It is so relaxing and peaceful. Plus, they are appointment only, making it really a one-on-one experience. My wife recently got her nose pierced by Danny, and she has told me she will never go anywhere else. I can not blame her. I will never go anywhere else either.

I had a wonderful time here!! Got recommended by a friend and had a great first piercing experience. The atmosphere calmed me right away, and everything was incredibly professional. I was even well educated on how to take care of my piercing afterwards, with resources given, which was a big relief.

Took my 13 year old daughter for a nostril piercing. Danny was great and explained the process to her very thoroughly, helped put her at ease, and handled her sarcasm perfectly lol. Very sterile, relaxing, and calm environment.

Staff members are friendly and are through with each client, clean and very stylish studio. Easy online booking, I booked on the same day as my appointment. Fair pricing and great jewelry selection.

Shells and Danny were FANTASTIC! Shells did my second and third lobe piercings on both of my ears, and they look amazing. She did a great job helping me pick out jewelry and curate a look that would go well with my style and jewelry I typically wear. The piercings were quick and done well. She did a great job explaining what was going to happen and what I should do. She is a perfect mix of professional and funny/personable. Danny did my nostril piercing. It was quick and relatively painless. I was a bit anxious because I had only ever had my first lobe piercings done, but he helped me relax and enjoy the experience. My nose piercing looks fantastic! Overall, it was an amazing experience that I cannot recommend enough. This is the only piercing shop I will EVER go to!!

I needed to get plastic piercing retainers put in my helix, daith and nose. Asked a couple questions via messenger and scheduled a same day appt (great website for that part) I got there and was told that they were out of the retainers needed for the nose. They did my other two. It was $75 including tip which I thought was very pricey but I was struggling to find a shop that provided silicone or plastic. The shop was very clean and nice and Lindsey did a great job.

I went here tonight to get a daith changed out. (I stupidly put a clicker in that was too big and couldnt get it back out.) I had never been here before, and I was very impressed! I actually enjoyed the appointment only part. I didnt have to wait for my own appt, which has happened at other places, despite having appointments. I was greeted by name by the owner, and the place was very clean and had lots of sparkles! Michelle changed out my piercing for me. She was professional, quick, and for as much as I messed up my own piercing, didnt give me any grief about, which I appreciated (and why I didnt go to my usual place). All in all, I think I might have a new usual place for piercings! Im very impressed, and am trying to think of where on my ears can I even fit for my piercings just so I can get something pierced here. Definitely recommend!

Took my 9yo daughter to get her ears pierced and they did an absolutely fantastic job. It was VERY pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Friendly staff, really clean environment, and great with my daughter.

First off, the ease of scheduling an appt was appreciated. The cleanliness and professionalism of Lindsey was wonderful and refreshing. Im still just stuck wondering how a $55 piercing turned into $210 after tip. I chose one of the least expensive earrings as well...maybe a little more upfront when scheduling an appt would be good so one wouldnt lose out on their deposit. I was definitely not planning on that much for a simple ear piercing.

I had the best experience getting my helix done today. Michelle was so informative and professional, she did such an amazing job. I had a great experience getting my nose pierced here! Danny was my technician, and he was just wonderful. I wish I could remember the name of the lady who helped me as well, but she was also great. They were very friendly and walked me through every step of the process, making sure to show me how clean and sterile their tools and environment were. They were also really open with their pricing system and werent snobby or judgmental about my price points for the jewelry I chose. (I have had that happen at the other place Ive had piercings done.) I would absolutely recommend this place, and if I ever want another piercing, Ill be coming back here!

Just had my third piercing set done by Michelle. I love coming here. Everyone is so accommodating and answers any and all questions you have. The jewelry is gorgeous and decently priced. Everything is incredibly hygienic and done professionally. Will definitely be coming back again XD.

Danny just pierced my daughters nose and did an amazing job! The shop was super clean! He allowed her to take her time picking out what jewelry she wanted and helped her decide what would look best in her nose. He went through the process in depth with her, step by step, explaining it in ways she would understand. As someone that works in the medical field, I appreciated the proof of sterilization throughout the whole process, keeping my daughter as safe as possible. Highly recommend this shop!

I personally really like the ability to set your appointment online, you can also communicate via text which is great for people who may have anxiety or other issues with communication.The shop was very clean and I enjoyed the small touches like the relaxing music and how friendly everyone was. While I was waiting, we were greeted by every employee that came through. The check in was super easy and done on your phone.Lindsey did my piercing and she was super nice. She made me very comfortable and was great about explaining every step of the process and making sure I was doing okay during each part.I would definitely, and likely will, be going back for future piercings.

Asked if they do jewelry changes and they said yeah, showed up and they wouldn’t use any of the jewelry I brought with me for the change and their cheapest septum ring was $80. they were super judgmental about me bringing in “cheap” jewelry.

I needed to get my nose ring out and a plastic plug put in so I could get an MRI. I was able to book an appointment FAST and Lindsey was fantastic. She made sure I was comfortable and explained what she was doing as she went. I had my nose pierced on a whim (at a different studio) so getting it switched was all new to me. She explained to me the different types of hoops I could get put in after my MRI and let me browse their cases as long as I wanted to look. She even showed me which ones come in pink (yay!). It was about $32 total which isnt bad (to me at least, knowing I was safe for my MRI, and my hole wouldnt close up, and that I didnt have to worry about messing up my piercing hole trying to get my ring out myself). If I ever decide to get another piercing, I 100000000% will be coming here, without a doubt!

I just got my septum pierced here by Danny and I will 100% be back! The shop was immaculately clean, the jewelry selection was top tier, and the actual piercing experience was fantastic. What an amazing experience from start to finish. My daughter had been asking to have her ears pierced. I knew I wanted to find a great place that would be gentle and clean. Danny did a wonderful job with my seven year olds ear piecing! She was scared but he eased all of her worries. She said it was painless and it was the best experience. I highly recommend this business for all of your piercing needs!

I have not received a piercing from anyone here but I have had multiple piercing changes. The staff were always super sweet and nice and I appreciated any suggestions they had for my piercings. I unfortunately have sensitivity to a lot of metals, but the quality of the matierals they use has helped some of my older piercings that I had issues with get back on track. I will be going back to see the staff very soon to update more of my jewelry soon.

I’ve been so hesitant to get my nipples pierced, I stumbled on this shop and finally decided to do it after 6 years. Danny was AMAZING! He made me feel very comfortable. The shop was clean and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely would recommend!

To say I’m impressed is an understatement! We took our 7 year old daughter to get her ears pierced with her two best friends, and had the most amazing experience. The shop is SO clean, and the measures they took to ensure sterilization was mind blowing. I can say that it was cleaner and more sterile than most doctors offices. Danny was incredible with our nervous daughter, and talked to us the entire time, telling us exactly what he was doing. They also give all littles “piercing pups” to take home and hold for comfort. This is the only place I will go for a piercing going forward. I highly recommend taking your children here if you are considering getting ears pierced. I went to Lindsey for a dermal removal and an eyebrow piercing and it was a great experience! She was very professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole thing. I had such an awesome experience, Shells legitimately saved my day! I am truly grateful for this company’s customer service and professionalism!! I found this place upon a google search as I was having a self emergency. Shells was my piercer and she did a PHENOMENAL job with helping me. Honestly came across this place because of a referral by a really great tattoo artist (who in general gives great Lansing area referrals) - Ive tried a few other places in Lansing since then and have always had some issues with the jewelry, piercing, product, etc. and have had to come here to get it fixed. Am I shaming other places? no, but am I 100% sure Danny at Be you ti ful (or really any app staff there) can do it right and be a great source of information and support in the healing process? For me its certain yes and a total win. I know Im gonna save up to go to be you ti ful the first time around because Im done with late night visits fixing swelling hot piercings. And I can always count on straight, aligned, well placed and expertly done piercings at be you ti ful. Even more difficult piercings are done professionally, painlessly (or at least as little as possible painful) and all turn out absolutely stunning healed.

My sisters went in to get their noses pierced. I was able to sit in with one of them. I was very impressed with with this place. We came here on a recommendation and it was well worth it. I came in with the intent to have my conch piercing switched out for some new jewelry and was informed that the location of my current conch piercing wasn’t necessarily in the best spot (which I kinda had a good idea of) Danny recommended re-piercing it and so I agreed. Went in to get my nose pierced from the apprentice (Lindsey). It was her first piercing in her apprenticeship and she nailed it! Her and her mentor Danny make the experience very easy and comfortable. The shop is one of the cleanest environments I’ve probably ever stepped foot into. Today Danny did my navel piercing! As soon as you enter you’re greeted with a clean, professional space. I’ve never had an experience such as this one! He walked me through the entire process, sanitized and sterilized all of his tools, your jewelry etc . Will definitely come here again. Great place! I can see why he only has 5 star ratings. You won’t leave the shop disappointed.

I got nipple piercings done by Michelle yesterday and I can confidently say this was by far the nicest, cleanest, and most professional piercing shop I have ever been to. A few of my friends have been pierced by Danny and I have been super impressed with the quality of both the piercings and the jewelry so I felt totally comfortable going to another piercer at this shop. I previously had nipple piercings that rejected (and were a 9/10 pain level to have done) so I was fairly nervous but Michelle did the piercings SO quickly and SO well placed that the pain was maybe a 2.5/10 and even a day later I hardly notice any discomfort. I picked out jewelry that was $75/ per piercing and the piercing fee (I think) was $35 for the first piercing and $20 for the second. This is more than I have paid for my other facial piercings BUT I have no regrets and truly feel the quality of the piercer and the jewelry is so worth it. I will never go somewhere else for a piercing.

The other day Danny did my septum piercing. From the moment I walked in I was impressed. Clean, spacious, and professional environment. He made sure to sanitize all surfaces and sterilize all the tools he would use to pierce my septum. He made sure I was comfortable and I barley felt a thing. I got my septum pierced yesterday by Danny and he was so amazing! I came as a walk-in and they fit me right into the schedule. They are very thorough when sterilizing the jewelry and making sure that everything is neat and clean. Danny explained the entire procedure for me and did an excellent job with my piercing. Today, when I noticed that the jewelry didn’t quite fit my nose right and was uncomfortable, I called and was able to get it switched for a horseshoe that was a bit bigger. They truly care about their customers and that is something really special. Got my septum done here. I have been to a lot of tattoo/piercing shops and this was the most professional and clean place I have ever been. Everything was sterilized for each of us and the shop itself is very clean. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would absolutely recommend anyone I know to go here for any of your body modifications!

Michelle is a wonderful piercer! I haven’t had the pleasure to stop by the current studio yet, but Michelle pierced my eyebrow at her previous studio and I am happily following her to where she is now. She’s clean, nice, respectful, and makes you feel safe and welcomed. She’s LGBTQ friendly and her personality and the experience she provides is worth every penny. Can’t wait for my next one!

I am 90% covered in tattoos, have 17 piercings currently and have had many more in the past, and have been to over 50 body modification artists and 25 shops. Out of all the shops that I have visited I have to say that this one was the most professional by far and actually read like a spa with the skill and cleanliness of a doctor’s offc more than your typical tattoo shop (in a great way).It is sad to say (and I say it having worked in body modification myself) but in most studios, harassment and crude behavior tend to be par for the course, but i was taken back by how absolutely 100% professional the demeanor of everyone I saw there was.this type of environment should be the standard for body modification; if all shops conducted business the way this one does, all stigma from the industry would soon be gone.Cheers!

I had been contemplating getting my nose pierced for quite a while and finally decided to pull the trigger; after seeing the positive reviews here I landed at Be-You-tiful. Danny could not have been kinder or more professional. The studio is very clean and their attention to cleanliness and sterilization exceeds expectations. He and his apprentice, Ivy, made us feel totally comfortable, walking us through the process and answering any and all questions. Would highly recommend for any piercing experience!

Had a wonderful experience! Danny is a kind and very thorough piercer who will make sure you feel safe and keeps everything clean as can be. Piercings are about $35 and then jewelry will set you back an additional $70, even if you get some of the lower end options, so just know that going in. Definitely an investment, but better to pay and have your ears safe and infection free than to go somewhere that won’t make sure you’re taken care of. A five star experience to be sure.

This was more than a piercing studio experience, I was jewelry shopping! There are so many high quality, gorgeous designs to choose from I went back to change it up and then...Danny changed the jewelry in the piercings he did for free! Hes generous with his services and his time taking care to keep you comfortable. Ive taken my teenage daughter to get multiple piercings here knowing she was in good, safe hands. This is the only place I would tell you to go get poked or just switch up your style.

From my initial piercing to a jewelry change, the staff exceeded my expectations in terms of professionalism, kindness, and depth of knowledge. Rather than simply doing the work, everything was explained in terms I could understand. I had been wanting a nostril piercing for 15 yrs, but didnt get one because Im allergic to a lot of metals even yellow gold. But I decided I was going to go for it. I googled piercing places in Lansing and Be-you-tiful body was the first place to come up. All the reviews I read about them and Danny were great. Scheduled my appointment with Danny this morning got my piercing at 12 pm. Danny made me very comfortable about getting my piercing and my allergies to metal. When he pierced me I didnt feel a thing and my eyes didnt even water. I was expecting a little pain but nothing. And 4 hours later still no pain. He also changed out my sons gfs nostril piercing and gave her another piercing in her ear. She thought he was very good and made her feel very comfortable. All the staff were great and place was so clean. Thank you for your wonderful service.Highly recommend Be-you-tiful body for your piercings and jewelry.

Id heard about Be-You-tiful from a friend and had high expectations going in - both the studio and Danny exceeded these expectations. Went in for a helix piercing and had a great experience; clean environment, solid selection of jewelry options, and a high level of professionalism and safety/hygiene protocols. I had danny for my piercing .. literally so good i tell ya, pierced me so symmetrically. didn’t even have to tell him to re adjust it was just mwuah, very professional and answered all my questions. gave me lil instructions to take home too! very sweet and very nice love love :) also made sure i was okay after each piercing and when i got up!

The place is very clean, and the piercings done very well. Michelle was very friendly, and great with my daughter for her first piercings. Even gave her a little stuffed dog to hold.Im rating a 3 because the website is confusing, theres no in depth explanation of costs or services. Other places include the jewelry as materials. I figured if I misunderstood itd be fine, $75 plus $38 jewelry - as stated on the site, didnt seem that bad.However when I got there, I was immediately judged and treated like I couldnt afford some of the jewelry I was looking at. It wasnt in a mean way, and she even mentioned a payment plan trying to be accommodating to something she assumed. It immediately made me feel uncomfortable and I decided I wouldnt purchase extra from the place.I was then told the cheapest for the earlobe piercings were $50+. But she seemed really reluctant to even tell me the pricing. I had to finally ask straight up what the total for everything was going to be because I was getting confused. I felt mislead, but didnt want to waste $50 for canceling. At the end there was also a hidden fee of $7, no idea what for.I feel like info should have been more upfront, and the website needs some work.
