Late review! I got three pieces done in total at this shop, all of which were done flawlessly. The whole crew is dynamite, and the shop is an overall great environment regardless of where you are (if anywhere) in your walk of faith. Probably good I moved or I would be spending way more money on life long art. :)

Cory was able to my niece and I in for matching memorial tattoo rather quickly. His knowledge, experience, pride and ability to listen to us and turn it into what we were looking for was all we could have asked for! I’ll definitely be back to see Cory in the near future. I would definitely recommend him to any looking for a good artist. Thanks again Cory!

Great experience. Chay helped my husband and I with anniversary tattoos. We came in with primitive sketches of what we had in mind and he made quick work of fine-tuning them much more to our liking. They both turned out SO nice! Chay was very personable, polite and professional. We felt very comfortable with him right away and if we get more work done well be asking for Chay. Cant leave out what a nice clean, bright and relaxing atmosphere the place has too. I felt like I was surrounded by friends. Everyone was super cool!

I absolutely loved my experience at Ministry Ink. I got my tattoo done a couple years ago so this review is pretty late. However it turned out fantastic and looks great! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have a good time and receive good work along with good care.

I sent pics of a tattoo I wanted to the general email. Was told to re send it to a specific person. I did that. Then was told to contact someone outside of their shop. I felt that they thought my tattoo wasnt big (or good) enough for her. I just had a small simple one I wanted this time. Its ok I went to a different shop and will NEVER try this shop again.

I highly recommend Ministry Ink! I got my first tattoo here from Kayla. She is an incredible neo-traditional artist with an illustrative style. She took my rough idea and perfected it into a cohesive design that was better than I could think up. The studio is super clean and the atmosphere is the perfect blend of professional, yet casual, that put my nerves at ease and made me feel welcome. If I talk myself into more ink, this is where Im going. Thanks for an awesome first experience, Kayla! I LOVE my tattoo!

Had a great experience with Joel for my very first tattoo. Relaxed and chill atmosphere put me instantly at ease. All questions were thoroughly answered and have had no complications. Communication was easy and my tattoo is perfect. Absolutely would go there again and recommend anyone else check it out. also reasonable pricing for a fairly large piece.Update: second tat with Joel went great, super happy with price and results. Still five stars.

Definitely one of the best places I’ve been to. Cory was very friendly, professional, and polite. My best friend and I came in to get tattoos and he did an absolutely amazing job and exceeded my expectations. I’ve gone to a different place for every tattoo I have because I’ve never felt super comfortable going back but this place I definitely will return to and continue to get future tattoos from Cory. Cory was very professional and friendly. Shop was extremely clean and eclectic. Price was outstanding! Wound up getting two tats for $100 less than original price quoted for one! Had an awesome experience at Ministry Ink! The artist Adam has a great personality and is very welcoming. I have had tattoos done by many different artists and he had the most gentle touch out of all of them. He does very good work and I always get compliments on the piece that he did.

My experience at Ministry Ink was and is the best! Even if you are not getting a tattoo, it is a great place to just hang out and chat. Adam is a genuine guy and his staff are the same. This was by far the best tattoo shop experience I have ever had. I have been wanting to get a particular tattoo for several years but couldnt decide quite how i wanted it. I visited many shops, mostly in the Lansing area and was either welcomed so poorly that it put me off, or was not impressed with the quality and integrity of the artists work. When i visited Ministry Ink i was immediately and warmly welcomed. Considering your about to let someone brand your body for life, trust is a big deal. I showed Adam what I was wanting to get and let him run with it, the next scheduled visit he showed me what he worked up, and it was perfect. Needless to say we got right to it and Inked me right up. Definitely a fantastic shop, great atmosphere, clean environment, it definitely has a family oriented feeling to the shop. Highly recommend visiting!

I spent a little over a year thinking about getting a new tattoo. After much research, I finally had an idea of what I wanted. I had a lot of pictures and a concept, now I needed the artist. I had read the reviews of Ministry Ink and thought I would stop by to check them out. I was greeted enthusiastically by Adam and Joel. I scheduled my appointment with Joel for two days later. That night I sent him several pictures and a description of what I was looking for. The next night he sent me what he had drawn and I was amazed. He had captured it all so perfectly! My tattoo was done last night. 5 hours in one sitting. I was very comfortable (considering) and Joel worked efficiently to get it done timely. The atmosphere fun, but professional. I cant thank Joel and Ministry Ink enough for taking such good care of me! I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a tattoo!

Ive got to say that Adam is pretty amazing. If youre looking for a professional artist with a great attitude look no further. Whats funny is I have not been fortunate enough to have experienced his artistic touch, only a handful of conversations, and that was enough to choose him for future work. I would highly recommend!

I had a tattoo done by an artist not listed on this site and was disappointed by his work. Adam assured us that he would make it right. I think Adam is an excellent artist and felt good that he was offering to correct it. 3 phone calls later, twice talking with him, he hasnt returned our call to set an appointment. :(

I spent several years trying to decide what I wanted my first tattoo to be. Once I had a general idea I met with Adan at Ministry Ink and explained the basic idea of what I was thinking. He brought it to life. It is so much better than I ever thought it would be. I love it and would recommend Adam and Ministry Ink to anyone. They do amazing work.

Its VERY clean. The tattoo artist (Shaun) explained why everything was covered in protected wrap to avoid cross contamination. He wore his gloves at all times. New clean needles were used.Great atmosphere - not dingy like some tattoo shops are.Great service. Cant wait to come back!

AMAZING studio for tattoos, I personally have gotten two tattoos from the amazing human Kayla. One was colorful doughnut on my back (completely satisfied and in love, she took the idea and made it her own), and the second was an original piece by her. The detail and linework that she does is freaking OUTSTANDING, her color work is so beautiful too 🥰 I love how homey the environment is here, every artist and the owner Adam make you feel so welcome and talk with you freely. They make sure you are hydrated, fed, and comfortable. Your comfort matters, getting a tattoo can be draining on you physically. 10/10 recommendation, never disappointed. Even watching others getting tattooed its so crazy to see the differences in styles and how excited and happy everyone is upon leaving. Oh, also, theres a coffee shop downstairs now and I got the Vanilla Lavendar Latte, its to die for. Truly a magical place. ❤️

Adam is one of the most down to earth people that I know. He really takes pride in his work and he takes time to get to know his clients. Everyone that comes to the shop is welcomed as if they were part of his family. The area is always clean and it is a really relaxed environment. The only place Ill go for tattoos.

Adam did an amazing job covering up my old tattoo! I went in with pictures of the styles of tattoos that I liked, and he came up with a great design to cover up my old faded tattoo. The detail and color on my new tattoo is fantastic! Hes extremely personable and put me at ease the entire time, making sure I was comfortable.

Im late to leave a review. But back when my Grandma passed away myself as well as my family were able to book an appointment the weekend of the funeral to all get matching tattoo in her memory. Shaun was amazing and would recommend him to anybody. Looking forward to being able to go back again and get more.

These guys are nothing short of amazing! The shop is clean and comfortable. Adam and Joel take amence pride in their work and will go above and beyond to put a smile on your face. We easily felt like longtime friends and I can truly say they have an ink customer for life with me :)

This is awesome the people that work there are great and threw tattoos are fantastic. Adam Crane the owner is a amazing person hes a great artiststep-dad and a great person all around. Ive never seen a place where they care about your tattoo as much if not more than you. Not only is the artwork amazing but the price was fantastic to. Walking in the door, the first level is The Brew - a coffeehouse that is soon to offer craft beer. The delicious aroma of coffee and fresh woodworking floor your senses as you climb the brief flight of stairs to Ministry space. The upper level is an open concept with chest height walls dividing the work stations. Its airy aaaaand inviting while still being private enough.Ive been in repeatedly to get ink with Shaun. Its been a great experience.

I met with Cory who was able to take an idea I had, and make it into a truly remarkable work of art. Everywhere I go, people compliment the tattoo and say how much they love it. Great work, man. I will definitely be back

It was my first tattoo and I had a design in mind. The owner, Adam Crane, said he could show me what he had in mind. He took my idea and came up with something amazing. Hes an artist but not a BS artist. Hes a really great guy and I trust him and wont get ink anywhere else.

Expirience was great. I drew up my own tattoo and brought it to adam he went through it with me making small changes but still keeping i my own. It turned out way better than i invisioned. The guy is amazing at all the tiny details wich made the final piece just so over the top amazing it has me just itching to go back for more. Very friendly place i felt at home while i was there. Its clean he takes care of his equipment and was conversing with me about similar intrests wich made me feel like he was an old friend i hadnt seen in years even though we had just met once before a few days erlier, and he still remembered me wich was impressive . He often asked me if i was doing alright making sure i was comfortable even though this was clearly not mh first tattoo. Overal great expirience Ill deffinetly go back.

Adam is and amazing person, but hes vary busy, then I get recommended someone who he himself said was done with tatting. I got ahold of him and he is clearly over tattoing. I guess ill have to find a shop that is serious

Good vibes and awesome work done by Adam Crane. Heading back for sure and thats a long haul from detroit to Lansing but for the experience and quality of work done by the 2 artists in that shop makes it worth every penny.

AdamTo me is what a true tattoo artist is suppose to be , great personality treats you like family , and when it comes to the design of your tattoo when you give him an idea of what you want he nails it , he dont try to convince you in getting something totally different or a design an artist is comfortable doing , he will give his input on how to improv a design , Ive been to other shops and a few are so full of them selves they need a reality check, not naming names you know who you are.. So that being said go to ministry ink have one Lansings newest and soon to be the best tattoo Artis in town...
