The shop is clean, welcoming and professional. Location is a little hidden but its in the same building as the post office.I am just out of my session with Bubbles and I have to say I am in awe of the work she did. She is very professional, very friendly, and she took really good care of me. I am extremely happy with that tattoo and I am planning on contacting her again for future work!

Ive heard great things about Bubbles and I finally got a chance to get a tattoo from her. I love how she makes you feel so welcomed in the shop. My tattoo looks awesome and the process was quick and easy. Definitely will be going back

My experience with this shop is that they have unprofessional Artists. I felt as if I wasn’t taken seriously. I had an appointment with an artist that goes by bubbles and I liked their work. They only contacted me via Instagram-weird but whatever, it’s 2023. They seemed very short and not helpful over messages but I didn’t think anything of it because tone can be misconstrued over message. When I asked to see the drawing before I drove all the way to put it on my body she told me she couldn’t do that because she draws it the night before. The day of my appointment (I live an hour and a half away) they asked me less than two hours before if I could come thirty minutes earlier. They either only gave me thirty minutes of their time or booked over me. When I got there they were very impatient telling me “we’re either getting this on in the next 5 minutes or this isn’t happening today”. I totally understand having to stick to your schedule but this is a tattoo going permanently on my body and I would appreciate the artists taking time to make sure it’s symmetrical and lines are straight and that it’s something I like. I messaged my tattoo artist after some thought on the matter and told her I was going to go with someone else and she didn’t even offer giving half of my deposit back. So I paid $50 for her to trace some lines. Last thing I’ll say is I sent an inspiration photo for my artist to use and they completely copied it except for a star that they couldn’t copy. Maybe I’m just unaware of how tattoo artists work but I thought they’d create their own design based on the inspiration photo.

Today was the third time I have been tattooed at this studio. It is always very clean and calm. Bubbles did an amazing custom tattoo for me and I will be going back to her for many more!

Highland Tattoo Co. is super clean and sleek. Nicest looking shop in Louisville. Doty is professional and very skilled. His work is amazing. I just had my second tattoo done by him on 9/13/17. He stays booked for a month or so, but he is definitely worth the wait. Looking forward to my next appointment.

I went and got my custom tattoo done yesterday. Byron is absolutely amazing. He lets you know the equipment is sterile and the environment is very clean. This was my first tattoo so I was a little nervous but Byron made it easier; hell pick out your favorite band/artist and let it play in the background. I am more than pleased with the tattoo he gave me. Its just what I asked for and more. I will definitely be going back for future tattoos.

We had a consultation back in February. And we paid in CASH a deposit of $200. It was for an 8 hour session. And had an appointment of April the 8th. Even gave us an appointment card. This was something we had be wanting for years and was for my husbands birthday. Waited two months and not even two whole days before I get a message on instagram asking if she had an appointment with us Friday. I said yes sent her the picture of the card. She tells us she double booked. She could either reschedule for over a month away or refund the deposit. I inquired why we had to reschedule but not the other person. I was told it’s because they were coming from out of state. I get that things happen but this was highly unprofessional. I debated on even posting a review but after talking to other shops and their reactions I realized this is not acceptable and then I saw a picture come through on instagram showing her in Chicago this morning. Which makes me wonder if it was she truly double booked herself or she just had other things she would rather do. I wanted to share my experiences. This is nothing against the artist tatsbyBubbles work just their business operations.

Great shop atmosphere! Doty is an amazing artist and the talent he has lined up between bubbles and future artist will boost Highland to top shop in Louisville 100%!
