I stopped in on a Friday, middle of the afternoon and with no appointment. When I tell you it was the quickest, professional, and painless service Id ever received I mean that! I got a septum piercing. I have had zero issues so far and love it. Thanks Zoe for providing excellent service. Price is definitely reasonable and service was friendly! Keep up the good work.

I was in town for the day for work and needed a professional to help me essentially re-pierce my nose after having to remove my nose ring earlier that day for work and unable to get it back in myself. I called Zoe to see if this was something he could do, and he was very friendly and said he could take care of me about an hour later. When I arrived, he greeted me and told me he would be with me soon and I only had a couple minute wait. When he took me back it was a quick fix and he got me on my way. Even though I’m not local, I’m considering for my next ear piercing to drop in to visit Zoe again because of my brief but very positive and friendly experience!

Local hidden gem!! Better than I couldve asked for! I came in as a small girl wearing a bright pink jumpsuit and no one blinked an eye. Super open-minded and accommodating space. The owner even touched base with me to see how it was going. Salt of the earth people who are experienced in their craft. My artist was Noli, and although he doesnt speak much English, we used a translator app and he followed my instructions EXACTLY. He is a perfectionist and a passionate artist, made clear by how he took the image I gave him and completely brought it to life. An excellent example of art transcending language. Im glad my business could support the local Louisville community!!

Tried to make a ink appointment for my upcoming G day but never got a confirmation or even an acknowledgement of my request. Why do artists write DM me for bookings in their social media posts but ignore their DMs? Why bother using a booking app and not honor those bookings? Everybody wanna be a plug but nobody wanna do the work. Very disappointed. I expected better.

I was on a family vacation and we wanted to take my sister-in-law to get her ears pierced. Zoes had great reviews and they did not disappoint! Alonso greeted us at the door and I saw him personally visit other customers while they were getting tattoos. The piercing itself went very well and the employee was kind and friendly, thorough, and skilled. The shop is extremely clean and the prices are affordable. My sister-in-law is very happy with the service!

Me and my daughter got matching mother and daughter wrist tattoos. Also let me mention mine was a cover up as well and Zoe rocked it out ( you cant even tell its a cover up ) . If I could give 10 stars I would.Five months ago I went to Zoe’s to get my nipples repierced and both nostrils done. To preface this my nipples have been done two other times by local shops over the past 8 years and each of the previous two times they didn’t heal due to jewelry being too small. The lovely lady(can’t remember her name) took this into account and listened to me when I asked for a longer bar. The entire process was super quick and everyone in the shop was personable and professional. Both nostrils and nipples have healed beautifully and I’ll definitely be going back for future piercings.

Yesterday I took my daughter to Zoes to get her septum pierced for Christmas! The shop was very clean and everyone in the building was very nice. Zoe made my daughter very comfortable and the whole experience was about 20 minutes long. If you need a great piercing experience.. go to Zoes. Im sure we will be back in there.

Got my tragus ear piercing done here by Zoe and he did great. Looks amazing and let me pick which earring I wanted, yet giving great advice. Pricing is fair for the great work and kind environment. I was shaking nervous and it barley hurt and he let me take a break to lay down after to make sure I was alright. Thanks Zoe I will be back for more for sure!

Alonzo was amazing, I got four piercings in one day he knew I was scared said he was gonna talk me through it but he knew I just wanted to get it over with, and he did just that, but he did it safely. He made sure everything was sterilized. He made sure I like the way my piercings looked and where they were placed I will definitely be going back.

Zoe the owner did my nose piercing and did amazing. He was fun and made me feel very comfortable. He was thorough with explaining everything and was very gentle and calming. I’ve gotten pierced at other places where the workers seemed snobby and rude. But he was so laid back and cool and the ambiance and artwork in the shop was perfect. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be back!

I have been getting tattooed by Zoe for over 20yrs and Ive had the pleasure of seeing him perfect his art. His work is amazing and he has the ability to take my vision and turn it into a masterpiece. A friend and I wanted to get some ear piercings done and called the shop to make an appointment. Zoe was able to get us in same day, even though we were very last minute, and answered all of my nervous questions! He was super nice and made sure we had all the info we needed for aftercare and his card in case we had any questions! And this was all in the middle of another tattoo session he was doing, since he was the only person in the shop at the time. He was great! Will definitely go back for piercing/tattoo needs!

Very clean shop, I loved the artwork on the walls.I was greeted as soon as I walked in, they asked what I wanted done without an appointment. Alot of places dont take walk ins at all, but I was there maybe 30mins and they got me in and out.Alonzo was the one who pierced me, he was very straight forward and knew what he was doing.He made sure to wash his hands, and put on gloves. Even the other artist there were gloved up with their booths clean.I would def recommend their shop.

I went in for two nose piercings and it was so quick and easy. Everyone was nice and chill during the very short wait. Everything was done right with clean needles and care. He made sure I was happy with placement before piercing and gave me a surprise holiday discount! I definitely recommend.

Went in pretty close to closing time with one request: an eyebrow piercing. i sat down for maybe twelve minutes before i was getting it done. super quick & easy but not careless or messy. everything was sanitary and as clean as a doctors office. going back today for my nose hopefully :o)

I recently got my belly button pierced by Zoe himself. He was very comforting, knowledgeable, and sanitary. I asked if he would count down “3, 2, 1” then pierce lol and he did. He made it clear that I could text him and/or come to the shop if I had any questions or concerns regarding the new piercing. I came by the shop 2 weeks after the piercing with some questions and he was very quick to answer all of them. I am very pleased with my experience and plan to return for future piercings.

My first time coming to Zoes tattoo shop I generally loved the customer service every one had and the support on the artist giving you their best work first and foremost. It has a natural welcoming vibe, along with being very sanitary. I got my first tattoo from him and no one other than Zoe has given me a tattoo since then. If you call him up hell give you a date asap to come in and it wont take long until you are in the chair. I got to give my props to Zoe. He knows how to run a business.

Ive had all my Tatts done by Zoe. Hes very awesome at his gift. Hes friendly,and will carry on great conversation with his clients,if they are in a talkative mood. I got my first tattoo here by Dakota, I found her on Instagram and through my friend, her work is great so I was really excited but when I got to my appointment which was at 430 I had to wait until 5 or so to get my tattoo and to be honest that didn’t really bother me but just something I noted. Once I got in the chair she asked me what I wanted and came back with the stencil and placed it on my foot, she had me put my foot on her stool to place it and honestly I never thought to check the stencil before hand because I had a reference photo of exactly what I wanted same words same font then seeing it after it was done I was highly disappointed. It wasn’t the same font it was more loopy, and honestly it’s not a bad tattoo it’s just not what I was expecting and I feel like with an additional communication it could’ve been prevented but now I have a tattoo I don’t really like. Overall this jaded my first tattoo experience but I know if I ever get another I will be overly communicative about EXACTLY what I want. I did reach out to see if she could some how change the font to what I wanted the only thing she said she could do was a cover up and unfortunately I don’t want another tattoo, so I’m hoping this one grows on me or I’ll just get it removed.

Me and my best friend didn’t have an appointment, but we were still able to get our tattoos. The wait was a little long but Zoe gave us a heads up so we were able to go get some food and stuff. No complaints!

Best shop in town!! My tattoo artist AJ works here and he does amazing work and is affordable. Just had a quote added that goes across my two arms and I absolutely love it and so does everyone who sees it. He took his time and made sure it was perfect and I was completely satisfied. Zoe is solid. Does really good work and the price was very fair. Only downside to my entire visit was that I had to wait a little bit longer to see him, but thats only because his shop was busy because they know what theyre doing and its a popular place.

Update the environment was clean but unfortunately the bars they provided for my angel bites were way too short and started to leave indents in my lips to the point it was so painful I had to remove the piercing. The bars were so short and were bars you would give to someone looking to size down after having the piercing for some time. Good piercer and nice service but needs for education for piercer on swelling in lip piercings.

I really wanted to get my daughter’s (6mo) ears pierced. I called soooo many places and had very little luck. I called dermatologist, pediatric offices, and tattoo shops. After only finding TWO in the area that would do it, I am so happy we went to Zoes Tattoos & Piercings on 4th St.They were clean, professional, patient, and family friendly! And they did a GREAT job! ♥️

I got my tongue pierced here and it was pretty much painless.they guy who did my piercing was super nice and gave me advice on how to clean it as well as he used all sterilized tools and needles.

I got my nose pierced here, the girl didn’t really know what she was doing and Zoe had to come and fix it. The girl put to small of a ring in my nose and it was sinking in and ZOE had to fix it. Zoe is very kind and he knows what he is doing. I highly recommended him.

I contacted them to schedule an appointment for a piercing.The first text he answered immediately saying he could fit me in. But when I texted to follow up and get a time there was no response. It’s been 2 days.

Love this shop, Zoe does an amazing job he did my tongue and I had a great experience however.. the younger female piercer I think she’s newer she pierced my Medusa crooked :( this is one piercing I wanted for a while so I’m a little disappointed honestly but she was super sweet and professional about everything else and I’m sure she does other piercings just fine but yeah my Medusa is like sideways which sucks but oh well.

Gotten 3 piercings here, all have healed wonderfully and he gave me a free nose stud to match after my third because it didnt match the other side anymore. Always incredibly fast and polite. Will absolutely continue to get piercings here.

Very professional and amazing. I was so nervous but he didnt make any fakse promises as others have. The shop is clean and over all very well rounded. I will be coming here for all my ink and piercings .Im glad I shopped around and finally made my choice at Zoes!!!!

He did my nose piercing quickly, made sure the jewelry was in my nose correct, cleaned it real good and then explained how to care for it and what products to use. Scammers. on 9/25/19 I dropped in right before surgery to buy two 14G plastic piercing retainers - the pricing sign by the jewelry noted that plastic retainers were 2 for $5, but the guy charged me $20. on top of that, he didn’t even give me the correct size (one a 14, but the other was a 16 or 18, obviously smaller than the other - I unfortunately didn’t notice until I left). pretty ridiculous price for plastic retainers, especially as it didn’t include installation. I live right across the street from this place, and had looked forward to having a convenient location for tattooing/piercing since I have several of each. definitely no interest in going there now.

Me and my husband went into the shop today and love the service. It was so refreshing to walk into a clean shop in Louisville my, Very very very clean tattoo shop, very professional tattoo artist. We will most definitely be back.

Me & my ma both went to get our nose and dermal piercings by Caroline, my nose stud is fine but our dermals BOTH had to be removed. My top one wasn’t anywhere near close to my skin even though I did everything she told me to do. My mom had to get hers removed because she thought they were rejecting, come to find out when she went to another piercer who has 20+ YEARS of experience said that it’s because they use cheap metals, which is the worst thing you can do for a dermal. We got them pierced in July, she had to get her dermals removed a month after being pierced and my top one FELL out today. My mom got her other side dermal done by someone with YEARS of experience and has had no problems. 200 dollars wasted 👋🏽

Came in for a simple lip stud replacement that I had lost because I just had surgery. Had the employee put it in for me since I was still disoriented from surgery. They only accepted cash. The lip stud fell out within 10 minutes of me getting home and I noticed it wasnt internally threaded (huge no no). Tried to get it back in myself and lost it. So thanks for nothing. 20 bucks down the drain. Ill just stick with Twisted Images from now on even though its an inconvenient location since theyre the best. They never would have made this mistake.

Called to inquire about availability and an appointment... was given the cell phone number of one of the artists and told to reach out to them via text. I did, received a text back a few hours later. They asked a few questions and I answered them. Then I never heard back from them or anyone else at the shop.I found someone else that wanted my business.

I got infections on both my nose and industrial piercing just after a week of having them, and I was cleaning them. I had to go back to the shop to get my nose jewelry switched because my stud wouldnt stay in. My industrial jewelry is too small for my ear and my bump wont go away and I have to get a new industrial bar.

Scheduled an appointment with the owner for our kid to get her ears pierced for a Christmas present. We showed up but the piercer didn’t. Artist called her and she said she would be there in 15. 25 minutes later we left.

I went into this place about a week ago, wanting another tattoo and not only did I wait for about 25 minutes. No one came to the front to ask what I needed. Not good for business! So, if your wanting a tattoo dont go there ! Unless you just need somewhere to sit for a while.😞

I know Im a difficult person to pierce. I have a terrible fear of needles. I make a point to inform the person doing mine are fully aware and willing to be ok with one small request, count to 3. The man who was supposed to do mine was going to honor my request. His boss, not so much. Marched in, took over, and rudely shoved the damn needle in without a bit of warning. Literally scolded the employee for taking the time to do like I asked in front of me as if I wasnt even there. Will never go back. The poor staff member deserves a 5 star but the boss can blow me. If you arent willing to even count to 3 or treat me like a damn adult, then dont even deserve 1 star. The 3 is just out of appreciation for how sweet the employee was.

The owner is a talented, down to earth, family man who is extremely professional. It was my first time getting my nose pierced and he took good care of me. Thank you!
