Ernie did an AMAZING job on my back piece. It was my first big tattoo and they were more than accommodating when it came to taking breaks/making the environment welcoming and comfortable. It took way shorter than expected, which is shocking bc of what an awesome job he did. Very personable staff, and all around the experience was not intimidating at all. Still in disbelief! Thank you guys again!

Cj pierced my eyebrow and did a wonderful job. Barely any pain and it looks magnificent. Thank you! You guys your the best. Ill be back for a few more and maybe a tattoo. Very sterile. Very clean. The guys are very nice and accommodating

I got my first tattoo and my artist was great. He was very patient with me and all the staff were very nice and experienced. The shop was very clean and a comfortable environment, the next time I get a tattoo I will be going back.

Everyone at controlled abrasions is really nice been going there for years for my piercing and my tattoos. Nice clean u watch everything that’s being done. U want a place to go one stop shop controlled abrasion.

Super clean shop. The guys there are very knowledgeable with there craft. This has been my tattoo shop of choice for many years. And will continue to be.

Got my nipples pierced here and they used the big heavy hoops and it’s been a year and still not healed would never heal. They told me I just need to clean it but I cleaned it everyday just about did a year and it just got worse and worse. Went to another shop and talked to them and they told me that the jewelry they used is WHY it’s not healing and that it’s best to take it out because it was just hanging down causing pain all the time same with my nose ring it would NEVER heal. I had it done before and never had issues

I went here for my first tattoo to get matching tattoos with my Aunt and cousin. The place was clean, but the staff werent very friendly. All 3 of our tattoos came out poorly and will need touch ups. I believe the tattoos came out poorly due to the artists euphoric state. The artist also seemed very bored with us and gave little to no input. I had high hopes as both my Aunt and cousin have tattoos from another artist at this shop from years ago and both tattoos are still in great condition. Overall they were over priced, unfriendly, and just not a good experience all around.

Went there 4 years ago and now the place went downhill.(Background: I have multiple blue tattoos already) it’s the only color that stays for me, well the tiny amount that was there completely faded after 2.5 weeks, scarred, the fine lines are not straight and missing some. The guy’s mind seemed to be anywhere but there.So called back and was told I probably don’t take blue well….. again I have four giant blue tattoos and I was told it was 90 days before he’d touch it up….. again 6 tattoos already sooo the normal time is 30. I was also repeatedly told that with “23 years of tattooing this is normal”….I have gotten my tattoos from 4 different states, none have faded and none have needed touch ups, but this one needs an overhaul.I WILL give them the BENEFIT of the fact that after arguing with me on the phone the artist did offer to pay his colleague to do the touchups instead of himself after me expressing my disappointment and not wanting to work with him.However, I already booked a new appointment with a different shop because I’d rather pay for a new one than go back.

Not done well at all and over priced. Need more work to fix it. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Excellent customer service. The artists make you feel right at home and help in every way they possibly can. I watched CJ and Jeremy tattoo and both pieces came out fantastic. I was tattooed by Ernie and Ill never have anybody but him do my lettering tattoos. Hes by far the best , most meticulous, perfectionist at lettering Ive ever seen. He was patient with me being so indecisive and took his time and put all focus on my arm while he was tattooing. Great group of guys, absolutely recommend and definitely going back!!!

I have lived in the area for 17 years a have 5 pieces currently, I have passed this shop over the course Of time well 8/23/22 was the day I made the choice to go full sleeve and all I can say is why didn’t I go here sooner. CJ is doing my sleeve and have to say total pro. Super friendly, patient and skilled. Spent 10 hours sitting in that chair and if we both weren’t just burnt out could have gone 24. The shop is surgically clean and everything is on point from top to bottom. CJ will listen to your ideas and work with you to come up with a solution if that vision of yours needs help. Can’t wait to finish this arm up and look forward to future business down the road. A+++++

Super clean place, cleaner than a hospital in my opinion. Best place to get piercings especially. CJ is really knowledgable about tattoos and piercings, and he is a nice guy. You will feel comfortable here. I got my first tattoo and most my piercings here, and will get more in the future here.

They did an amazing job and the owner let me pic a movie to have on. Good conversation during the few 10 min breaks we took and he even let me bum a few cigarettes because i was out. Will defiantly go back. Wish i could put 10 stars.

Rude people working. walked in and it took them a good 5 mins before they stopped talking to one another to even acknowledge me. did a piercing for me and didnt explain anything they were gonna do, not how to take care of it, or even when to change it. I had to ask THEM. After they were done they sort of just looked at my weirdly like for me to leave, handed them the money, they said nothing and I walked out. Really annoyed this is the only place around me to get a piercing and this was the service i was met with.

My friend and I stopped in one evening on the fly and they were available to fit my girl in. She got a cute little flower piece on her forearm. Came out beautifully. CJ did an amazing job!

My husband and I got many tattoos from controlled abrasions C J and Jeremy are the best they both got great eye for detail lines and color no job is too big for these guys its a clean sterile friendly environment with great prices on tattoos and piercings I would recommend them to anyone nice job guys .

Hold onto your wallets and Def ask formpricing BEFORE you have services rendered...$100 for simple EAR PIERCING!!!Had a hard time tearing them away from their chatting and browsing their phones also... never again...

I loved it! I just went to get my second holes pierced on my ears and it did not hurt at all! The piercer used a needle for it which went through so smoothly!

Manny did my tattoo, something I waited 23 years to do. It was the best experience. I gave him a picture of what I wanted and Im so happy with the results.

Hardly said anything and got charged $40 for acrylic plugs… if i didn’t need them last minute i would have walked out.
