Absolutely my BEST tattoo experience EVER!!! Not only is Mike the best artist in the world, he is also an amazing person, a fantastic conversationalist and a patient and professional artist. The ambiance is outstanding!!! So many unique, fascinating and cool things to look at and inquire about. Also, watching Return of the Living Dead while being inked added to the perfect experience. I will be back as often as I can and I recommend checking this gallery out for ANYONE who enjoys art and movies. Thanks Mike!!!!

Kristen made my tattoo experience fun and extremely comfortable. We share the same interests and style so we immediately clicked. I highly recommend her, especially for a colored tattoo. Mike was also extremely kind and made me and my friends feel welcome.

Mike is amazing! Love his work, and love the over all vibe in the shop. He goes above and beyond to give you art work you’ll love to show off. I can’t count how many times I’ve been asked where I got a piece or gotten compliment on the quality of work. I’ve been to him for probably over 10 of my tattoos at this point and Mike has never once disappointed.

There is no place like this one. All the artists are welcoming, friendly and talented. Mike is mine and my husbands artist. He is amazing and makes you so comfortable. Lets you pick out a movie out of their GIANT collection or music. Its like a big family there. Great environment!!

This is an incredibly cool place to get a tattoo. The staff are super friendly and the studio is full of really cool sculptures and grindhouse movie memorabilia. I just traveled up from Philly to get another gorgeous custom piece from Sebastian, an artist I’ve worked with for ten years who is simply the best. You couldn’t ask for someone more talented, dedicated and professional about his work plus incredibly clean and skillful. This is the place, don’t think twice!

Been going here for many years and will continue to. Mike has a very hard working team and their business name is true to claim. They put out the most quality work year after year and on top of that work in a very clean environment. I know many people that have gotten tattooed by Mike and his team and they love their work. I do as well. Get on Mike’s or the other’s books!

Mike is professional, personable and provides an environment of positive energy and enthusiasm. His needlework is out of this world. I am came here on the recommendation from a friend and he outdid himself. I completely understand why his clients are so loyal to him and I WILL be coming back for every tattoo in the future. I stepped away during my tattoo break to take a look at Kristens work. She was working on a client as well. It came out beautifully and the client was so ecstatic when she left. Beyond professional and they even let me pick what movie I wanted to watch on the huge TV during the process!!

I have been wanting a tattoo for many years but was too worried about myself, the artist and where to go for a reliable tattoo artist. Well, the day came and through word of mouth we went to Grindhouse Tattoos on Bridgport Ave. Milford. The best decision I ever made!!!! These guys are great!! So welcoming, and friendly!!! The artist who did my tattoo is Kristen! She just did an awesome job!!!! So patient and clearly explained everything that was going on. This place is fantastic inside too. !!! Cant wait for my next tattoo already!! Its all worth it, that little bit of discomfort that may or may not happen is all worth it!! I had none, no discomfort whatsoever!!!!! In fact I had fun just talking to Mike (the owner) and all their customers and friends Thanks Grindhouse Gallery for breaking me in on tatoos!!!!!! What a great day!!!!

A wonderland of Horror Memoribilia and art, Grindhouse is the absolute best place to get any tattoo.

I highly recommend Mike to be your tattoo artist. While I only wanted a very simple tattoo, the meaning behind it was so important. Mike handled me and my tattoo with a level of caring, kindness and respect that far exceeded my expectations! He genuinely focused on my comfort at every step of the process and he put his own love into this art that will be a part of me forever. Additionally, he paid the highest attention to cleanliness and was incredibly thorough with preparing the area and aftercare. Definitely a 5 star experience! I will definitely go back again for another tattoo.

I’ve been to 3 different tattoo shops in Connecticut for all 3 of my tats. Mine are very small and dainty and Grindhouse is by far my favorite shop I’ve been to. They were super friendly, clean, professional, and gave me a quality experience. Small tattoos don’t have much to them, but out of my 3, the one I got here is definitely my favorite. It’s so well done, it’s exactly what I wanted, and it was a great price for what I got. I can’t express enough how amazing this shop is. I will definitely be returning for #4!

Amazing artists, clean and professional environment, and a quirky and welcoming vibe! Jeste is one of the best tattoo artists Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. His black and gray work is unbelievably soft and well blended. If youre wanting a portrait but scared of how it will turn out, I promise you that Jeste will not only make you feel comfortable but also give you a piece of artwork that you can be proud of for the rest of your life. Mike the owner is an unbelievably talented individual, and the shop that hes created is truly unique. Whether or not youre a fan of horror, this shop has something for everyone (But it certainly doesnt hurt if youre a fan of horror).

Best tattoo shop I have come across yet. All of the artist have insanely awesome talents. Cover ups are done and done perfectly by Mike. Each artist has their own style. And it is like a family in there, plenty of memorabilia, and you can even pick a DVD to watch while getting some ink.

When youre a visual artist with high standards for what you want on your body, its very hard to find a tattoo artist you trust. I found that here at Grindhouse. From the moment I first met Mike (owner), it was as if we had known each other for life. He was obviously excited about my project, and his skill and demeanor put my heart at ease. Five hours flew by and I left with a show-stopping tattoo and a new great friend. You might think this is a one off, but I went to another artist, Seb, for my second tattoo at Grindhouse. He was attentive, intuitive, and with linework to die for. These gents were absolutely stellar and this is now 100% my tattoo place. Mikes collection of vintage horror memorabilia, the vast assortment of movies and music to enjoy, and the shear delight of the staff make this place an unmatched way to spend a day.

Last minute my wife and I were able to book Caitlyn (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) for some small pieces to remember our son. The work was amazing and super clean! Grindhouse Tattoo is an amazing place. I had appointment with Cait and she is awesome. She is friendly and very talented. She did an awesome job on my tattoo. Mike is also very friendly and knowledgeable. They have wide variety of Dvd’s To watch while getting your tattoo done. They also have Netflix. This is a must tattoo shop to go to.

Went here about a month ago for a first timer and had such a great exprience i was super nervous. the girl that did my tattoo was awesome! she was friendly and did a good job on my tattoo was talkative which helped me calm down. very clean!!!!.
