Pittsburgh Body Piercing

Took my daughter today to get an industrial piercing. Had the greatest expedience. Ashley walked her through the whole process kept her calm and relaxed. She even kept me calm and kept me from passing out. Hahaha definitely recommend and my daughter will be returning for future piercings.

We had a wonderful experience here. Ashlee is calm and gentle and put my daughter at ease. She also provided fantastic follow up care when my daughter’s ears had a reaction to pool water. We absolutely couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Such an amazing experience here! Got my septum done, Ashlee talked me through the entire thing, as I was quite nervous. She made me feel very at ease the entire time ❤️ I will HIGHLY recommend their store to anyone I know looking to get a piercing ❤️

My experience at Pittsburgh Body Piercing was amazing. The walk-in wait time was less than 10 minutes. The shop is clean and well decorated with a wide selection of pretty (and affordable) jewelry, but I was most impressed by our piercer, Ireen. She was phenomenal! She walked us through every step of her process as she set up her station, placed the stencil, and did the piercing. It was the quickest and least painful ear piercing I’ve ever had. I will absolutely be coming back. Thank you Ireen!!!

Ashlee was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. She explained what she was doing, and before I realized it, the piercing was done! She provided details regarding the size of the jewelry and aftercare. I will definitely be returning!

Took my 8 year old here to get her ears pierced and it was a great experience! Ashley and Becky tandem pierced her ears, and they were so kind and helped my daughter with her anxiety. Highly recommend!

Ive been here twice for piercings, and Ashlee and Ireen are amazing! Both of them talked through everything with me beforehand, explained the process really well, and gave me excellent aftercare instructions. They have a great selection of jewelry, and the shop is clean and comfy. Ill definitely be back the next time I decide to get an impulse piercing!

I have to say it may not be advertised but this business is definitely an LGBTQ safe space the atmosphere is welcoming, the decorating is fun and casual!! But the absolute best part was the customer service Ashlee was the kindest soul from start to finish and she was encouraging and honest and open!! The work she did is phenomenal and i love it!! The prices were very affordable and up front!! I literally cannot say enough I will definitely be back for more thank you so much!!

My 9-year-old daughter got her ears pierced for the first time today and we had such a positive experience. Ashlee is calm and confident and talked my daughter through the steps. We had a tear-free experience which I was not expecting. We will definitely be back when my 6 year old is ready

Wonderful place for piercings! I won’t go anywhere else if I choose to get pierced again. One of my nose rings on my right side got infected and was in very bad shape. I had heard good things about Pittsburgh Body Piercing so I reached out to Ashlee immediately to see what she could do for me. She got me into the shop the day after I had messaged her, cleaned it up, and switched out my jewelry. That day I scheduled to get my other nostril pierced- something I had been wanting to do for a while- because Ashlee was so nice and was genuinely concerned about the piercing and so willing to help even though she wasn’t the person to pierce it initially. The day after I was at the shop my nose was pretty much fully healed from the infection! No more puss, minimal redness, and no pain whatsoever! I came back about a month later and Irene pierced my other side and changed out the jewelry Ashlee had put in while my other nostril was healing. She was very knowledgeable about where to place the jewelry to make it aesthetically placed and in line with the two hoops on my other nostril! The piercing healed very quickly as well. Overall great experience. Definitely the place you want to go if you want pierced! In the pictures you can see what my piercings look like now- stud on the left side and two hoops on the right. & what my infected side looked like immediately after Ashlee cleaned the infection and replaced my jewelry- two studs on my right nostril. Unfortunately, I don’t have a photo of the infection but trust me it was bad!!!!

When I had walked the atmosphere felt relaxing which helped with my anxiety. The stuff was nice.I had gotten an ear piercing, eyebrow peircing, and a nostril piercing and I love themso much. If I were to get anymore piercing I would come here

Ashlee is such a professional, you’re in the safest hands in the city! Ashlee pierced my helix (upper ear) and my second holes in both lobes. She walked me through every step in the process and especially the aftercare. I followed her instructions and didn’t have a single issue.I also had a lovely experience with Ireen when I was a walk-in for a jewelry change. She was so helpful and took great care of me!

Updated to add that I came back to get my daith changed out and do a double helix piercing. Kensington killed it again!! More stunning pieces to add to my bling collection on my ear!!! GO HERE!!!!! Once these are healed I’ll be back to get some more.I’ve been following this place for a while on Instagram and was finally able to make it in. The shop is smaller but really cute. A very cool vibe and good music. I got some jewelry replaced for my Tragus and conch and got my nose pierced today. The selection is great and the staff is fantastic! My sister also got her nose pierced as well. Highly recommend for all your piercing needs!! Kensington was awesome.

I simply will not go anywhere else for a piercing! Ashlee and Ireen are so kind, welcoming, gentle and knowledgeable about the art of piercing. They want the best for their customers and ensure the quality and health of every piercing they perform. The shop is amazingly clean and sanitary and adorably decorated with such a fun welcoming vibe. I also recently learned that these amazing folks are CPR certified and know protocol in case someone passes out, which is probably never needed because of the great care they take to keep people comfortable, but makes the whole experience that much better knowing I’m in capable hands. Ive been wanting to get another piercing for awhile now and have been following Pittsburgh Body Piercing on Instagram. I was inspired by so many of the cool piercings that were posted that I knew I had to go here. Ash was so lovely in person. She was calm (which kept me calm) during the piercing process. I already know I will go back here for my next piercing.

I have had multiple piercings done by Ashlee over the years. Shes also put in retainers for me prior to medical procedures and re-placed my jewelry afterwards. Always friendly and professional!

Fantastic!!I went in because my septum piercing had closed up when I took out my jewelry for x-rays. They went above and beyond to help me. The owner (20+ years of experience) went out of her way to come in and take a look.They were able to find my piercing hole which had shrunk and become totally invisible, and fit my jewelry back in with almost no discomfort.The owner is seriously experienced and I’m incredibly grateful for the service they offer!Also, with Polish Hill yuppifying and losing its culture these days, I really appreciate that this place is old school, punk Polish Hill. They are a vital part of the community and are holding it up rather than destroying it.They are also centrally located, and accessible by transit and bike. They also have pretty open availability, and don’t make you feel rushed like other studios in the area. I’ll be coming here for all my future piercings.

Ashlee is great! I’m not new to piercings..she went above and beyond my expectations! I had my lip pierced, tongue redone and ears gauged. The atmosphere was relaxing, and staff was knowledgeable. The shop is clean and sanitary… I’m excited to go back to get the rest of my piercings!

I cannot recommend this place more highly. After having visited another area shop, in the South Side, and found that their waiver said literally nothing at all, I was feeling skeptical about getting my nose pierced. When I walked into this shop, it was such a breath of fresh air. I feel safe here. The people that work here are going to take care of me, and not injure me. Theyre good at what they do, all have a+ communication skills and the vibes are perfect. Genuinely, if you need a piercing in Pittsburgh, this is the place you should go.

Got my septum pierced a couple months ago and by far the best piercing experience I’ve ever had! I always hear horror stories from friends and the shops they’ve been to and I’m so glad I had the opposite experience. No complications afterwards! Such lovely ladies! 🥰 now I want to figure out what else I want pierced so I can come back 😂

I have gotten over 6 piercing at this shop, and EVERYTIME the staff amazes me by how smoothly everything runs.I first came in with two very uneven closed lobe piercings. And Ashlee (the owner) took extra care to make sure they were re-pierced as evenly as possible, and to mark new lobe piercings to balance the original ones out.Since then I have gotten multiple helixes, a daith, and recently a rook (by Irene). All were done with a wonderful professionalism, and I felt confident throughout the entire process.They provide all aftercare steps, and closely monitor any possible bumps and/ or keloids, and have discs to help them heal readily available at the shop.I will be back for many piercings in the future!

Today my husband and I took our 3 month old and 13yo daughter to see Ashley to get their ears pierced. She did a wonderful job, was very professional, and is a total sweetheart! I will recommend her to all my mommy friends for their little ones!

I brought my 6 month old to a different place and it was a horrible horrible experience. I only did one ear there cause it was so bad… BUT then I found this lady and OMG it was a huge difference. She did the other ear. It did not bleed like the other place. My baby didn’t scream as bad or as long as the other place. I highly highly recommend this place especially for all your babies!!!!! 10/10 5 stars does not do this justice .. she deserves 100 stars. My boyfriend and I were so satisfied .. especially after having a very bad experiences at this sinner and saints tattoo place that did my babies other ear. Also the earrings are so much nicer and better :) thank you for taking care of my baby!!

Ashlee pierced my daughters ears (6 month old infant). She was incredibly patient and took careful attention to ensure they were even on both lobes. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a piercer for their infant.

Absolutely take your child here to get their ears pierced. They did both ears at the same time, engaged my daughter in conversation, made it not scary, good quality jewelry and after care solution included. I called a bunch of piercing places that would not pierce a child but I refused to take her to the mall to get pierced with a gun. 10/10 recommended these ladies.

Walked in with my girlfriend who was getting pierced and Ashlees next appointment had cancelled and I told her Ive thought about getting my septum pierced and she helped ease my nerves and got me to get it done.
